- MAYUKO (8/5): - オーナーがとても愛ある人でした。島で天候により船が欠航するリスクもありましたがプライベートボートを手配してくれたり一緒に翌朝までの波の高さを確認してくれました。帰るのが早朝でしたが子供たちが好きなサラミやオレンジジュースを用意してくれていて心が温まりました。また会いに行きたいです。
- Simon (10/5): - A very warm welcome from the staff. We were made to feel at home. The room was exactly what we wanted, comfortable, a lovely mini balconi, overlooking directly the sea. The breakfast was lovely and the coffee was excellent. I would highly recommend Glavovic.

Majoittajat olivat uskomattoman avuliaita ja ystävällisiä ja tavoitettavissa hotellin läheisyydestä jatkuvasti. Herkullinen aamupala tarjoiltiin pöytään ainakin näin toukokuun alussa. Low season aikana saimme myös myöhäisemmän uloskirjautumisen. Pienenä miinuksena suihkun lattia tulvi suihkussa käydessä ja huoneen ikkunoissa ei ollut verhoja. Lämmin suositus tälle hotellille, sillä siellä ollessa on kuin olisi kotonaan.
- Alf (10/5): Best vacation at a homely hotel - The hotel and the host were great! There is a seating area in the lobby bar in the next room, also outside seating. They have air conditioning in the bar and in the rooms, which is great. Within the hotel rooms they have done some recent renovations, main beds are brand new, loved to sleep in them and the beds are huge! Bathroom has also seen some renovations, there is a new mirror and shower cabinet, and the shower provides great water pressure with plenty of hot water. Within the room there is a large fridge and hangers for clothes. We loved the window into the harbour, you can see the beautiful sunset and have a look at the beach. Lopud has the best sandy beaches in the region, most of the mainland has rocky beaches. Now something about the host, Ljubo. He was amazing and great with the kids! He took care of all of our needs. The breakfast was included in our stay and they made the best scrambled eggs along with a fruit bowl for us and pancakes for the kids. On our last morning we had to leave on the first ferry, very early in the morning, and yet the host, his mother and rest of the staff made sure we got a full breakfast. During the evening we had some drinks from the hotel bar and they even made some non-alcoholic cocktails for the kids. Honestly, the hotel and definitely the people made this mini-vacation the best one we have had, so my thanks to Ljubo! The area surrounding the hotel has plenty of shops and restaurants to visit, we definitely found our favourite.

- Chrystel (8/5): Great location, fantastic view, average breakfast - We had a room with a sea view at the front and the view was fantastic. Lopud is quiet and relaxing and well worth a visit. The breakfast was average but still very good value for money.
- Jeremy (10/5): Great hotel on Lopud. - Great hotel, Very close to ferry and right on the waterfront. Room was basic but had every things you would need. Well Located near the main bars and restaurants on the front. Minor complaint, warm water runs out after about 10 mins, so slightly inconvenient waiting for it to heat up again, if one person staying.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property couldn't be better placed, right on the beach front. The owner is really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We stayed in a family room and there was plenty of space and lots of storage, fresh towels several times during the week and, possibly most useful for those wishing to travel with hand luggage only, they supply beach towels. Very effective air con in the room, modern bathroom, and breakfast was plentiful and good quality. They also offer half price sun loungers and beach umbrellas for people staying with them. Would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Lopud.
- Leikny (8/5): Hotell i særklasse - Dette er et hotell i særklasse. De tar imot deg som om du var familie og gjør alt de kan for at du skal trives. Det er ikke heis i bygget,men et par spreke unge menn bar opp koffertene våre. Dette er vårt tredje opphold på Glavovic og vi vil gjerne tilbake. Frokosten var god og sønn/svigerdatter driver Glavovic restaurant foran hotellet med høy standard på maten. Hotellet har også solsenger på stranden 10m å gå. For å komme til Lopud der hotellet ligger må du ta ferje fra Dubrovnik.
- Sofia (10/5): Charming hotel with friendly staff - We visited Hotel Glavovic with 3 children; 13, 11 and 2 yo. We had a very warm and friendly reception, the staff was always helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The hotel is located just a few feet from the beach, and has a great restaurant. Their tuna salad was fantastic. The family room was nice, and worked fine for our family. There is no elevator, which can be tricky which smaller children but everything else was great. We found this a charming hotel where everyone (from the lady who runs the hotel to the guy who rents out sun beds at the beach, the cleaning lady, the restaurant staff etc) contributed to making us feel welcome during our stay. We’d love to return sometime.

- Kate (10/5): Fantastic little hotel on stunning Lopud Island - Lovely, family run hotel. It's certainly not ultra modern or fancy but you don't need that in such a stunning location. I really liked the quaint, old fashioned style of the hotel, much perferring it to the resort hotel we stayed in, in Dubrovnik. The family are really welcoming and the service is great. I'm already hoping to return - this place is a gem!

No check in or any formalities, old nice lady just showed our room and gave the key. We were lucky to have really nice sea view. Small beach and many restaurants right next to hotel. We stayed one night, which was enough to see the small island.

Hotellet ligger på strandpomenaden med närhet till bad och restauranger. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Köket och frukosten var också mycket bra. Vi kan verkligen rekomendera att åka till Lopud och bo på detta hotell

- Roman (8/5): Einfaches sympathisches Hotel direkt am Meer - Das in den 20er Jahren errichtete kleine Hotel besticht durch seine Lage am Meer, die gute Küche und die sympathische Familie Glavovic. Nach 18 Uhr, wenn die Ausflugsschiffe ablegen, kehrt Friede ein.
- Robert (10/5): Perfect Island Retreat - We actually love this place! The management was attentive and gracious helping us with our travels. The area is so beautiful you won't want to leave and this hotel IS an island retreat. We had made a review in error of this facility previously which not reflective of our wonderful experience. I recommend this place and will stay again soon!
- jeremy (8/5): Peace, quiet and absolute relaxation - Just perfect, lovely location right on the seafront with glorious views and magnificent sunsets. Harbour bustles just enough to entertain but never intrude. The hotel staff are just great, never less than polite, always informative and always looking to improve. Restaurants of great quality abound.
- Alison (8/5): Good value hotel - The hotel is very old, however it is right by the port, is clean and acceptable. There are plenty of restaurants on the sea front if you don't want to eat the hotel. The lady that runs it also sells the ferry tickets so she goes up to the ticket office next to the post office 15 minutes before the boat leaves. The ferry service runs like clockwork. Overall the hotel is very good value

- Isabelle (10/5): Super séjour avec quelques points à améliorer - Excellent séjour à Lopud, emplacement de l'hôtel idéal. Accueil charmant et bienveillant. Chambre claire et spacieuse avec vue sur la plage et le port. Climatisation efficace, sanitaires propres, mais eau chaude indisponible à deux reprises et moquette tâchée qui mériterait un shampoing. Literie au confort correct mais le lit 2 places a été remplacé par 2 lits jumeaux rassemblés dans une tentative d'en faire un grand lit Petit déjeuner complet,très bon pain mais café d'assez mauvaise qualité, qui nuit à l'ensemble. Quelques approximations donc, mais largement compensées par la situation de l'hôtel et la gentillesse du service.

- Leikny (10/5): Hotel in Lopud right on the beach - We were welcomed by the owner and were treated like old family friends. A fantastic stay at a very special hotel. Breakfast was served on the terrace every morning, even the morning when we had to get up at 6 to take the boat back to Dubrovnik. The stay at the Glavovic hotel is something I will remember and treasure for a long time. I hope I get the chance to go back.
- Aimee (8/5): Best location! - We loved our stay. The folks that run the hotel could not be nicer! They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and they coordinated our travel to the airport early on a Sunday morning. The hotel is old and not super modern or anything, but the location right at the beach and super close to the dock is perfect and the restaurant and free breakfast is delicious. Plus, Lopud is an amazing vacation spot!
- Wolfgang (8/5): Erholung pur in familiärer Atmosphäre - Es machte Spaß in diesem von einer Familie geführten Betrieb zu wohnen. Das Zimmer war zwar einfach, aber was will man für 55€ incl. Frühstück mehr erwarten. Das Haus liegt direkt an der kleinenPromenade, 10 m bis zum Meer. Vom Zimmer aus Meerblick, man hörte das Meer rauschen. Morgens das gute Frühstück(Spiegel, -Rühreier oder Omelett mit Schinken oder Käse nach Wunsch) auf der Terrasse am Meer. Und abends die gute Küche genießen. Wer richtig abspannen will, dem empfehlen wir dieses Hotel. Und dazu die wunderschöne kleine Insel mit vielen tollen Spazierwegen. Und wer Lust hat, kann die Nachbarinseln Kolocep und Sipan für wenig Geld auf einem Tagesausflug besuchen. Fer Fähranleger ist 100m vom Hotel entfernt.

- Nadya (10/5): Nice hotel on the nice island. - This hotel has very nice location. Right at the beach and very close to the port. We had nice corner room on the upper floor, but not on the attic floor. Three nice windows provided nice sea/beach/port views and also the fresh breeze. We almost did not use an air conditioner. And that was very hot August week, with temperature around 30C/86F. The bath fixtures need improvement. The slow-moving/stopped-up drain in bathroom sink make it unusable. But we were expecting that (read previous reviews). It was not a show stopper for us. The lady running business is very nice and accommodating. The view, the beach, nice restaurants were great! BTW there are now cars on the island. The boat from Dubrovnik will take only people to this island. So our rented car was left in Dubrovnik port, waiting for us. Since it is no cars on the island, the location close to the port (2 minutes walk) is a very big plus.

- Hans Petter (10/5): Sentralt hyggelig hotell rett ved stranden - Med litt flyforsinkelse kom vi litt for sent inn til Dubrovnik for å kunne nå fergen ut til Lopud, og Vlasta på hotellet fikk ordnet med en privat båt som kjørte oss over til hotellet på sparket for under halvparten av prisen som alle taxibåter vi fant på Google ville ha for turen. Hun møtte oss også på bryggen, og hjalp oss med bagasje inn til hotellet. Hotellet lå rett over gaten for den beste stranden på øyen, og selv om frokosten var litt kjedelig, så var hotellrestauranten blant øyas beste både til lunch og middag (spesielt når Jubo sto på kjøkkenet). Veldig flinke servitører som kom med utrolig gode vinanbefalinger til forskjellige retter. Rommet vi fikk hadde velfungerende aircondition, og var hyggelig selv om det ikke oste av luksus. Formålet for turen var ikke å være på hotellrommet, så standarden var mer enn nok for vårt behov, og overraskende god standard i forhold til prisen vi betalte. Kan absolutt anbefale dette hotellet videre, og det passer utmerket for barnefamilier.

- Marie (10/5): Living the life in Lopud! - This hotel is brilliant and this stay was the best part of our Croatian Island exploring (including Vis, Hvar and Brac). The owner and her son were both so lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Whilst the rooms and breakfast are a little basic (small TV and no fridge), they are big, comfortable and quiet- and good aircon. And The hotel has a great restaurant too so a night out there is a must (also try a night at La Villa but you'll need to book!). The hotel is the best positioned on the island. 500 metres from the ferry and the closest hotel to the beach- right across the road! And the beach is great, sandy and clear and deep water- 40 kuna gets you a padded lounger for the day! We couldn't fault anything in Lopud- the locals treat you like one of their own, always saying hi and super friendly, the island is gorgeous. Just enough restaurants and bars to give you variety and some great ruins to climb up to. Overall this hotel and this island is a must if visiting Croatia!

- Nina A (8/5): are you a light sleeper - Hotel centrally placed for ferry and monastery which likes to chime the hours for prayer as well as the hour 24/7. There is no lift but the staff will willingly help with luggage and it is 15 steps to each floor.

Restaurants sind für jeden Geldbeutel was.

- Linda (10/5): A home away from home, merci mille fois - Accueil très chaleureux par la patronne, qui est vraiment super gentille. Rien n'est de trop pour que les vacanciers se sentent bien. Belle chambre au grenier avec vue sur le port de Lopud. Petit déjeuner sur terrasse était tellement agréable qu'on a diné chaque soir sur place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Einfaches Hotel in toller Lage - Wir hatten eines der Balkonzimmer, mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht von Lopud und die Promenade. Die Lage ist das Hauptargument für das Hotel. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Aussicht aufs Meer ist einfach, auf Nachfrage wird immer nachgelegt. Die Zimmer sind einfach, die Größe, Betten und Badezimmer sind ok. Klimanalage und Kühlschrank sind auch vorhanden. Wesentlicher Minuspunkt sind die verzogenen Türen, was in dem hellhörigen Haus dazu führt, dass man vom ersten Bedienen der Zimmertüren auf der Etage ggf geweckt wird. Die Balkontür schloss nicht richtig. Bei Regen kommt die Wirtin und dichtet die Tür mit Handtüchern ab. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Eigentümerfamilie spricht auch deutsch.

Hotel Glavovic was the perfect place on which to base our stay. It is a short walk from the ferry port, and can be found amongst the shops, restaurants and cafés that Lopud offers. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room offered splendid views of the sea. The room was clean and comfortable, even if finished to a fairly basic standard. The breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but was enjoyed on the hotel terrace, adjacent to the beach. A lovely hotel in a fantastic location - highly recommended.

Breakfast acceptable. Very nice location in the beautiful Lopud island but really no value for money

- Dom (10/5): Beautiful hotel by the water - This was a very beautiful building next to the ocean,it was family owned and the owners went out of their way to make us comfortable .The hotel restaurant served excellent food and the had great knowledge of local wines ,I hope to come back for a visit one day.
