• Susanne (10/5): Eine Traumwoche - Die Gastgeber sind einfach großartig. Wir durften, weil unser Flug erst abends ging, bis zum Nachmittag unser Zimmer nutzen. Das ganze Haus ist wirklich wunderbar. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick auf den Pool und dss Meer. Die Ruhe die wir uns gewünscht haben und eine erstklassige Versorgung mit allem was man braucht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

• Christa (10/5): Ein tolles Hotel um seine Ruhe zu haben und zu entspannen - Wir haben uns in diesem kleinen Hotel rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, dafür gibt es einen großen Garten mit vielen verstreuten Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und zum Frühstück wurde alles geboten was man braucht. Uns wurde sogar die letzten beiden Tage, an denen wir ganz alleine im Hotel waren, ein reichhaltiges Frühstück angeboten. Leider hat die Taverne vom Haus Ende September die Saison beendet, aber am kleinen Hafen (3 Minuten zu Fuß) hatten noch 3 Tavernen auf. Der lange Sandstrand liegt auf der anderen Seite (auch 3 Minuten zu Fuß). Leider hatten wir Ende September/Anfang Oktober kein Badewetter mehr. Da wir einen Leihwagen hatten sind wir viel umher gefahren und haben Chalkidiki dann zu Fuß erkundet. Es war absolut ein erholsamer Urlaub und wir werden bestimmt nochmal dorthin fahren.

• Tibor (10/5): 9 évvel később még csodálatosabb volt - Maria és Cristos kedvessége, családias fogadtatása (2016-ban már szálltunk meg náluk). A szállás elhelyezkedése fenomenális, egyik irányban 100 méterre Ormos Panagias központja éttermekkel, bolttal, a másik irányban 100 méterre a 2 km hosszú, homokos strand egyik vége (tele jobbnál-jobb beach bar-ral). Tengerre néző szobák (zuhanyzó is), szerény átmenő forgalom a szállás előtt. Isteni a'la carte vacsora és koktélok saját éttermükben. Gyönyörű, rendezett kert és medence.

Na jego terenie jest basen, wokół budynku na trawie leżaki i miejsca gdzie można odpocząć, restauracja z pysznym jedzeniem i widokiem na morze. Widok z pokoju zachwycający. Serwowane śniadania smaczne. Blisko hotelu jest fajna plaża z leżakami. Trochę za mały pokój, trudno rozłożyć walizki. Przez ściany słychać sąsiadów.

• Catalina (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, the property is located on a hill where you can have all the peace in the world. 5 min walk from the hotel is a very nice beach. The hotel also has its own restaurant, a bit pricey for the size of the plates but tasty food nonetheless. While not luxurious, the room offers everything you need is very comfortable and clean. There is sufficient space to park your car which is also a must have. Didn’t use the pool but is a nice addition and looks cute. Would have appreciated some more variety on the breakfast. The food is good enough but it is quite the same everyday, except one cake.
• Hchh (8/5): Beautiful views and relaxed living always winners at Barbagiannis - Our bungalow was open plan with a separate bathroom and felt modern and spacious. The bedroom area had a double wardrobe, a good-sized, comfortable, double bed and a living area with a sofa which opened flat into a bed. Large balcony with plenty of room for a table and four chairs, two recliners and a drying rack. It has subtle screening which gives privacy. Spacious kitchen area with most items needed. Sink, kettle, sandwich toaster, two-ringed hob, fridge. Enough plates, and cooking utensils. Breakfasts were always tasty – and plenty of choice - eggs and omelettes, wonderful Greek yoghurt, cakes, toast…. You will not go hungry. It is served in the small breakfast room overlooking the swimming pool. The beach is 5 minutes’ walk away, and the views from the hotel are stunning. Hours can be whiled away on the balcony just watching the sea and the boats. WIFI almost non-existent inside the bungalow. Very good outside on the balcony. Sofa bed not comfortable as a sofa or a bed. It is pretty to look at but the seating is very lumpy. Plates were plentiful but mismatched. No dessert bowls. Cutlery mismatched and tired. It would have been great to have two mugs, not just two small coffee cups.

It’s 5 min walking distance from the beach and 5 min walking from the Main Street of Ormos Panagias. The view from our room (2nd floor) in the villa is just “one time” and also from the restaurant attached to the hotel.

Host was very helpful. Very kind and welcoming personnel. The property restaurant Thalassa was the best culinary experience in Sithonia. Dedicated parking for guests. I liked everything. Maybe the breakfast can be a little more diverse.

Everything was above expectations; service of each staff member, thanks to lovely cleaning lady - rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Food & wine excellent in the restaurant including the amazing view. Same view available from each 8 rooms. Pool has warm water and pool area is very nice. Maria and Amir have created a real paradise here. I would definitely want to come back when visiting Sithonia.

• Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, great amenities, breakfast is delicious, and their restaurant has some of the best food in the area. The place is just a 5 minute walk to the massive Trani Ammouda beach, which has tons of beach bars, great sand, crystal clear warm water, and a great experience. Easy to drive too to anywhere in Sithonia. We stayed in a bungalow which was clean, quiet, recently renovated, and very nice. The property has so many places to sit and relax, including the front porch of the bungalow. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and the whole experience was phenomenal. The bungalows have very poor phone signal inside and the WiFi is very bad inside too. Everything worked fine outside, but the structure seems to block all signals. We were disappointed that we couldn't connect to the WiFi some nights when we wanted to just stay in and watch a movie on Netflix. The shower pressure also was often inconsistent, sometimes just a trickle and others a strong spray. Hot water wasn't always available either, just barely lukewarm some days.

The owners are really nice, the breakfast is pretty good but above all the place is amazing especially the sea view. We had a lovely time there is nothing to complaint about. If there were a few improvements to make it could be about the insulation (the walls are very thin) and the pressure in the shower (that is not sufficient).

• David (10/5): Delighted - This place has everything for a weeks vacation. It’s just outside the fishing village port area so you are away from the crowds, and the beach is a 5 minute walk in the other direction. We stayed in one of the two new bungalows on the site. These are very well equipped with bedroom, living area and small kitchenette, fridge, sink, hot plate and kettle. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, and everywhere was air conditioned. Every morning there is a substantial breakfast with both hot and cold options and as much coffee as you could drink lots of sun beds around the pool and gardens as well. The one disappointment was the the on-site restaurant was closed as the season was ending
• Tzoumanekas (8/5): Overall a lovely stay - It had an ambient scenery overlooking the sea whilst sitting by the pool. The adjacent restaurant’s food was extremely good. Amir (the main worker on the premises) who basically does a lot of the work from waitering, cleaning the pool, making coffee and drinks etc is a valuable asset to Barbagiannis House. He is not Greek, however spoke fluent Greek and as Aussie Greeks were really impressed with his humility and kindness. He ensured our stay was welcoming and always accommodating from his heart. We watched his interactions with all and his demeanour was honourable. Ps You must go to beach to the left of the premises - especially to LaLuna Ormos Panagia’s. Beautiful sandy pristine beach. It’s to die for - no charge for lounge beds, you only need to purchase something but can stay all day. The Wifi kept dropping in and out even though they had 2 routers - signal was not the best.

The bungalow, the food in the restaurant, the location, the cleaning of the room (every day!) - everything was perfect. Tried multiple options in the area, but it was quickly clear: the best food (and view) is in the local restaurant. The best beach is within walking distance (5 min). So, a deserved 10. This location is already shortlisted for next year. In the bungalow, the sofa - although it is good looking - is not that ideal for sleeping, due to the "model" not being flat. However, we've managed to sleep good enough on it. The double bed is big and comfortable, though.

• Dejan (10/5): I loved everything. I would love to go back - The property is overlooking the sea. It’s very quiet, during day and night and it’s close to the village centre. Breakfast is good. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. The restaurant has excellent food. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding location and view - facing the sea in east direction you can literally watch the sun raising from the sea - it is so picturesque, words are not enough to describe it. Great location - just a few (2-3) minutes walk from the beach named Trani Ammouda with plenty of choices (free zone, beach bars, cozy and family beach bars, even parking area for caravans, etc.) The beach is clean and the water is cristal clean. Very good restaurant on side - Thalassa. A few near by, accessible in a few minutes walk. Close to the port. The garden on site is another gem - you can spent the whole day enjoying the silence and the view from it with a book in hand. Plenty of places to sit and relaxed. It is really peaceful place and you can relax to the fullest. The parking is free and they are enough places for everyone, no reservation needed - it is real parking lot with shadows provided for the cars. The owners are very helpful and ready to assist you in the best possible way. The room was cleaned every 2 days, it is very clean and we definitely will come back. There is a room for improvement in the breakfast - it offers fresh fruits which I really appreciate and they will make you coffee (different from the instant one included in the breakfast) with no extra charge. Very thoutfll and the coffee is very good (freddo cappuccino especially). But the variety is limited, no fresh vegetables which will be nice. The rooms are relatively small and this cannot be improved but it may be said a bit more clear. The wi-fi connection is poor but this is a common problem near seaside in my experience.

• Silviya (10/5): A perfect hotel for a peaceful vacation - The hotel is really wonderful and we had a perfect vacation in it! It has everything you might need - very cozy and clean rooms with astonishing sea view, big green garden with sunbeds and in general many places you can relax and enjoy the view. The hotel has also a really nice pool and a beautiful restaurant which offers very delicious food. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The hotel is in a quiet place but near (1 min) to the Trani Ammoudia beach and the port. The hosts and the staff are very kind and hospitable people! Thank you for the stay and the help! Everything was perfect.

• Oliver (10/5): - Unglaubliche Aussicht von allen Zimmern und beim Frühstück! Bequeme Betten und absolut ruhig und harmonisch! Maria und ihre Familie sind wahnsinnig nette Gastgeber! Auch das Essen in ihrem Restaurant war ganz hervorragend. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln!

The hosts, plus family, plus team were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond. We can't speak highly enough of them. The property was sharp, pristine and well put together absolutely beautiful and stunning. Great views and very comfortable. The facilities were excellent and faultless. Highly recommended. The village and harbour were also fabulous. A great location to relax and to explore the peninsula. Absolutely nothing. The weather could have been nicer! Ha.
• Anthony (10/5): Fantastic hotel with amazing cleanliness, service, views, pool & restaurant! - See above This place is a little bit of heaven in Greece! Spotlessly clean, friendly and with just a handful of rooms, like being in our own villa! The restaurant is superb too! Only criticism is that maybe our room was a tad small, but that's being very picky. This is a family run home that has been in the same family for 3 or 4 generations and I hope for many more.

• Alex (10/5): Perfect peaceful getaway, can’t say enough good things - Everything! Location was beautiful right by the sea, so peaceful yet 5mins walk from both beach and port. Room was gorgeous and clean with a lovely balcony. Food at the restaurant was the best in town! And the pool was beautiful too, honestly couldn’t ask for any more. Honestly nothing! The perfect stay
