The hotel is amazing from the room that was super clean also the bed was amazing and the staff.the food was good also and the location close to everything (massage,7eleven, bars,coffee). Everything that we wanted they helped us super fast and so nicely. One of the best hotel that I've stayed in Thailand. 100% recommend.

The hotel itself is stunning, and the room features are incredibly well-thought-out. A particular highlight was the pillow menu; as a side sleeper, I found the perfect match and am honestly looking to purchase one for my home! The breakfast is a true standout—a 5-star, made-to-order experience that felt more like a high-end brunch than a typical hotel buffet. We also thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at the rooftop bar. What sets Amanor apart, however, is the exceptional service. A special thank you to Goi, Noon, and Note, who helped us immensely throughout our stay. The staff is attentive and proactive; they kept us constantly supplied with bottled water, which was a huge plus. The location is also ideal, with plenty of local restaurants and businesses within easy walking distance. Highly recommended!

It really is a small, luxurious gem. From the staff, to the location, down to the linens, we couldn’t have been more happy with our time there. It’s clear the staff of the hotel take their jobs seriously and care deeply about their work, and that runs into all they do and the warmth they exude. We can’t thank them enough, Oat and Noon at the front desk, Khun O at the front door, and their exceptional GM Thomas to name a few, but everyone made us feel like family. We would absolutely stay at Amanor again and again.

Rooms have a modern twist to it. Service is excellent which is why it’s very clean. Love the rooftop bar and swimming pool. Gym could use an upgrade.

It is also within an easy walking distance to One Nimman and Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center. As a newly branded, modern hotel, the facilities are spotless and stylish. The rooftop pool, in particular, was a fantastic spot to relax with a great view. Furthermore, the quality of the hotel's F&B (Food and Beverage) is top-notch, offering excellent dining experiences without needing to leave the hotel. Overall, a highly satisfying stay!
E9133SJseanp (10/5): Perfect spot for walking adventures - We stayed here for a week this location is perfect for walking to amazing restaurants and local markets, the staff are amazing so helpful and kind, gave us great tips on local hot spots, the Amanor hotel have great ambassadors both Iyu and Must Panda were so helpful and delightful thank you again ladies for all your help. All the front end staff went above and beyond, unfortunately this was not the same for the manger on multiple occasions he would greet all British guests taking time to talk about their experiences, no once were we greeted or asked about our stay this was very disappointing, lucky for him the staff were amazing and is reflected in our 5 stars his actions warrant a 0/5

Breakfast is served à la carte, with many options to choose from, and everything is delicious. The hotel is not far from the busy area, yet it remains very quiet during the stay, making it a great choice for people who prefer a peaceful environment. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
Dattafam (10/5): Great experience at Amanor Hotel - We had an incredible stay at Amanor Hotel Chiang Mai! The location is right in the heart of Nimmanhaemin with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars just steps away. The atmosphere in the hotel was very welcoming and we were warmly greeted every time we returned to the hotel. It also smelled great and the common areas were quiet and peaceful. Service was outstanding from start to finish. A special shoutout to Noon and O, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We didn’t have time for this, but Amanor had cute bicycles available to rent out for day, as well. The breakfast had an amazing selection that we were able to able to enjoy every morning. Our room was beautiful and clean, making our stay feel extremely luxurious. We were provided with a small snack and postcard every day that was found from a local market in Chiang Mai, which was very thoughtful and unique. We also booked an oil massage, and the therapists came directly to our room and set everything up. The laundry service was also very efficient. Overall, this hotel was worth every penny and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend Amanor Hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

margerydavids (10/5): Simply the best - Our room was super comfortable,spacious with a relaxing layout.A choice of shower or tropical outdoor bath was nice. The ride from the airport is quick and easy and the hotel is within walking distance of old town. We walked in and hired a tuk tuk to bring us back. The rooftop bar and pool was refreshing although a little small it was never crowded and a refreshing dip was welcome on arriving back to the hotel. Shops and restaurants around the hotel varied from stalls to upmarket eaterys,something for every taste. We were lucky to meet Thomas the manager and speaking to Thomas you can see why the staff were asa attentive as they are. A great leader is showing by example and his staff are the best,nothing is too much trouble for them, Would wwe come back here again without doubt we would and probably will as there is still lots to explore around this area, Once again thank you Amanor for a great stay.

The atmosphere was welcoming and very pleasant, all staff were polite pleasant and welcoming throughout our whole stay, staff were very quick to respond to any request, our room was modern, clean with a unique touch which included a great playlist on the in-house speaker, a sample taste of something local (biscuit, sweet, dried fruit) left for us to taste in our room and changed each day together with a locally painted postcard for you to keep. Breakfast was well presented with plenty of variety for all tastes, coffee was also good. Dinner was included in our deal, we were provided with a menu with many choices (3 Courses) all dishes were appealing and serving size plentiful. Although the Hotel is small it is was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip. There is not one thing that I could fault during our stay.

Every morning, they thoughtfully prepared fresh lemon for my lemon water, which was a refreshing and welcoming start to the day. Their attention to detail and warmth made me feel right at home. I also appreciate how each morning, a staff member took the time to advise me on places to visit, helping me make the most of my time in Chiang Mai. They even assisted me in renting a car, which made my travels so much easier. The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently situated next to Chiang Mai University, making it easy to explore the area. The five-dish course, pizza, breakfast served was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of my stay. Sashquatch (10/5): Chiang Mai Gem! - Absolutely loved the hotel. It was small and intimate. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel valued and taken care of. We particularly loved the security guard outside the hotel. He was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. We got upgraded to a breathtaking beautiful suite which made our stay even more special. My only 2 negative were; 1. The gym was very small and not suitable for a weightlifter but golds gym is a short walk away and was fantastic 2. The room is stunning but quite dark so my wife found it hard when doing her makeup bur that goes with the ambiance of the hotel. mskksm00 (10/5): A Gem in Nimman – Exceptional Service & the Best Tiramisù! - The hotel's location is truly perfect, just a 5-minute walk from One Nimman, right in the heart of vibrant streets and lively local markets. It has a great atmosphere; I was particularly struck by the curtains in the corridors, which create a very cozy and pleasant 'muffled' feel. I stayed in a Premier Suite: the room was spacious, well-organized, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! The large bathtub in the center of the room is exceptional, especially for couples. The Wi-Fi was also impressively fast. A small but truly appreciated touch was the daily service: after every cleaning, they left fresh water along with a postcard and a small glass jar of delicious dried fruit. Despite being in a lively area, the room was perfectly soundproofed—you can sleep peacefully. The service is attentive and professional from check-in to check-out. The entire staff was always helpful and is a real asset to the hotel. A special mention goes to the restaurant staff who welcomed us on our arrival night, even though it was close to closing time, serving us a great dinner and drinks. The dining experience is the hotel's true highlight. Breakfast offers a small buffet with select products that are hard to find elsewhere; while it focuses on quality over quantity, that quality is definitely above average. Additionally, you can choose two dishes from an à la carte menu, and the level is truly high. For dinner, the restaurant focuses on Italian cuisine. As an Italian, I usually prefer local food when abroad, but I made an exception here: I found a spectacular Tiramisù—compared to what I eat back home in Italy, this one is in my top 3! If you are in Thailand and want to try Italian food, visit this restaurant; you won’t be disappointed!

ALFY20 (8/5): Very nice, but not up to SLH or Hilton luxury brand standards - My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights for our honeymoon. While this property is nice and in an incredible location, I would not say it lives up to the SLH or Hilton luxury brand standards. The room is in need of a refresh, with worn cabinets, counters, bedding, etc. The housekeeping was also very inconsistent - some days everything was made up very nicely, and the next day the fresh towels were just set on the bathroom counter. Our last night we didn’t even get turn down service (and we were out of the room from 5:30 to 9:30). The breakfast was decent and was complimentary. The pool was small, but very nice and the bartenders made excellent drinks. The doormen were very sweet and helpful. We booked with points before Hilton devalued their program (6 nights for 100K points which is great value), and we never take for granted the opportunity to stay in nice places and explore new cities, so we can’t complain overall, but we would have to think hard about spending the cash price (~$200 per night) or new point values (45K per night) to stay here again vs. other boutique luxury properties available throughout the city.

Yo, Oat, and Tey were very helpful during my stay. They made my stay memorable and even went out of their way to retrieve an item I had forgotten at another location in the city. Out of all the places I stayed at in Thailand, Amanor hotel in Chiang Mai was my favorite. It was truly a 5 star experience. Would love to stay there again if I go back.

I felt I was in a large city with its five-star touches, including the rooftop pool and bar. Since we were driving, the on-site parking was a necessary perk. The restaurant menu is extensive and top-notch. I highly recommend the Amanor hotel in Chiang Mai. Loved the modern design of the rooms, but they need to install a few hooks in the bathroom. There is virtually nowhere to hang a towel, robe, or travel bag.

From the friendly staff- Pang, Peem, Note, Goi, Noon and bartender Radar, to the clean and spacious room- we were very comfortable. The rooms have a nice patio and large outdoor soaking tub. Breakfast is included and was delicious- a great way to start the day. The AMANOR is located with walking distance to shopping, great food and massage facilities- definitely recommend Moments for a massage.

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful at all times. Although we spent most of the time out in the city, the amenities were a nice bonus. The location in Nimman (“new town”) was perfect for access to coffee shops, massages, and light food, but without being as chaotic as the other popular neighborhoods (which were still easily accessible in a quick Grab).

The room and in particular the shower were great as was the service by all staff. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was first class both for breakfast and evening meals and the best food we had on our holiday. The hotel is in a good location although not in the old town. We did not use the rooftop pool but the bar on the same floor gave a good view of Chang Mai particularly at night. If we have one suggestion - if you arrive before the check in time of 3pm it would be nice to be given a complimentary drink rather than being told to go to the top bar and order one. That said we would definitely recommend Amanor and would have no hesitation in rebooking.

samkhk (10/5): Loved the hotel and Lumi restaurant - Hotel was very comfortable and the linens were very smooth! The Manor suite was large and well segregated and one of the highlights of our trip. Lumi restaurant was a highlight as well as the dishes used fresh ingredients and frankly I thought should have Michelin recognition. Drinks at the rooftop bar were also superbly made. The staff were all very attentive throughout the hotel. 10/10 would highly recommend!
ClintonD137 (8/5): An upgrade? - The dark, gloomy, and confined suite upgrade was very much a downgrade compared to the bright, practical deluxe room that I transferred to. The suite lacked bedside tables and had a cumbersome coffee maker and bluetooth speaker. The main staircase was dimly lighted and lacked a hand railing. Small children were out of control in the relaxing rooftop lounge. However, the restaurant food was outstanding. The front office and housekeeping staff were absolutely top notch!

As a loyal Diamond member of Hilton, I booked my stay at Amanor Hotel which is a small luxury hotel within Hilton's brand. Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk immediately acknowledged my Diamond status and my room was immediately upgraded. I've stayed in many luxury hotels claiming 5 star status but the Amanor truly deserves the 5 star rating. The room was cleaned immaculately and featured all the luxurious amenities I expected. The cleaning staff did not disappoint. I tried the in house restaurant Lumi and was not disappointed. The restaurant immediately recognized my likes and accommodated all of my requests. The concierge was especially helpful in recommending cafes and places for me to visit. Once again, I was not disappointed as the cafes represented Thailand's emerging cafes culture. If you are in Chiang Mai, you will not be disappointed with your choice of Amanor Hotel!

Felt very welcome. 3rd time here at the same hotel! The only drawback is how dark this hotel is from the walkway to the room as well as in the room. As it is winter here. The weather outside during the mornings and evenings are cool, we kept the sliding door open without realizing there are mosquitos. We covered ourselves up except our faces. The mosquito bit my lower eyelid!!! It left a red mark in my eye...all out there, please keep the door shut at all time.

The rooms were perfectly comfortable - spacious and beautiful. And the location in Nimman is perfect. As soon as you step out of the hotel there are so many cute shops, world class coffee, delicious restaurants. The bustle of Old Town is only a short grab ride away. This truly was the best place we could have stayed in Chiang Mai.
Oaklandish3 (8/5): Not 5* but But Very Good - The hotel has much to recommend it. It’s very well located in the center of Nimman, with many restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The staff was great, super friendly and helpful. The room is large and as some other reviewers noted, the decor is very dark. This was really a problem our first couple nights when we had a lower floor room with little sunlight. We were able to move up in the hotel and got a lot more sunlight into the room. Everything is clean and the bed and linens were all very comfortable. We had a large room with a terrace that had a large tub on it, but we found the tub unusable. It was so very large that it would’ve taken an hour to fill it up enough to use it. There’s also nothing to look at when you’re sitting in the tub so it’s kind of a waste of space. I would’ve rather had more space in the room. Also, despite how large it is, there’s only one small uncomfortable chair in the room and a couple of benches which meant there was nowhere for the two of us to sit and relax at the end of a tiring day of touring. But the real reason I wouldn’t give it five stars however is that the pool is awful. There are only a couple chaise lounges so there’s really nowhere for people to sit. The access to the pool is awkward and dangerous. You have to climb down a ladder in between two chaises that has narrow rounded bars to step on. I fell getting out because it was so slippery. Also as other reviews noted, there’s very little shade. In the evening when it would be nice to swim, the bar sometimes fills up so you can’t use the bar seating either. This wasn’t a dealbreaker for us because the weather was a little cool but had we been there on a hot spell, we would have been very disappointed. The breakfast was OK and did include a number of options cooked to order, but certainly couldn’t compare with other hotels we stayed at during our trip in Thailand. Just to reiterate, the service was excellent, and the staff were quite lovely. Would we stay there again, yes but if a pool is important, skip it.

hiumacan (8/5): Classy operation, didn’t love the design - Staff here are sharp. Place is very clean. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. The suite is huge. The wood floors in the room feel nice. (Take your shoes off; you’re in Asia). If you want to base yourself in Nimman, which is a bit of a hipster backpacker student hub, it’s probably your best bet. The hotel is mostly just let down by its design. It is dark and moody and very indoors when Chiang Mai should be bright and airy and open to nature. (I’d also ding it for a very limited breakfast buffet, with fruit that didn’t look particularly fresh and pastries and yoghurt that were below par. But if that bothers you, you are spoiled for choice for bougie breakfast eateries and coffee shops nearby). So, not quite what I expected for an SLH / 4.9 on TA ‘Best of the Best’, but not bad either.

We were traveling with our 6-month-old baby, and everyone went out of their way to assist us. Breakfast is à la carte, and each morning I went alone while my husband stayed in the room with our baby, who was waking up late due to jet lag. The staff kindly allowed me to order breakfast for him as well and take it back to the room. They were also very accommodating in preparing food for our baby, which we truly appreciated. The location is great too—surrounded by restaurants, spas, and shops, making everything very convenient. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also exceptional. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

We especially found Oat to be so helpful and he went out of his way to take care of us! His service was above and beyond! The room itself was quirky as we have never stayed in a hotel like this, but we enjoyed the peculiarities! The breakfast/restaurant was amazing! The menu service has top-quality food, and the buffet had such fresh items every day. Beautiful room and great location. Walking distance from many restaurants and Walking Street Nimman Soi. We booked tours and had no issues getting there. I can't say this enough. But absolutely wonderful staff. We had booked a 3rd party tour. The tour almost missed picking us up. The staff there made sure we were picked up. The tour driver even came to the hotel, but didn't have our names. The staff had them double check and found we were on the list. I can't thank them enough. my best advice for new people, just book tours through Amanor. We plan to revisit in the future. Will def rebook with them. PS - If you're using grab app, their hotel name may show up different name.
