- Sidney (6/5): Nice hotel, but need to monitor noise guests - Price, location, helpful staff, walking distance to places to eat. Bed very comfortable and plenty of outlets to charge phones and laptops. A bigger selection of TV channels would be nice, plus an in-room coffee maker.
My big complaint is group on second floor having a party on the outside passage way at 2AM,I called front desk but no answer,it's not manned 24 hours.
- Joshua (6/5): -
- nestor (1/5): Very disappointed - There was no breakfast Manager did not speak English. TV did not work. People outside cooking. Telephone to manager did not work
- Kevin (6/5): - R.
- Totherow (2/5): - prices okay
Air conditioner cold they tub faucet was about to break. there was holes in the baseboard under the sink which is where the roaches probably came in from, the Sheets, towels, etc. Were dingy. could not get the TV to work and it was noisy people on the upper deck partying and yelling.
will not be staying there again
- Christian (4/5): - Not the cleanest place, roaches, lots of terrible plumbing work, everything had cigarette burns overall not a very nice place
- Shane (1/5): - When I first pulled up you can’t get into the lobby then the cops showed up during check-in. Went to room and it was gross with dead bug on window sills and on floor. Stains on the beds and to boot the toilet didn’t seem to be attached to the floor. Checked out immediately asked booking.com for refund within minutes of checking in. Stay away from this place!!!!!!!
- Mclaughlin (10/5): -
- Marvin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Malcolm (4/5): - The room had a TV that had a busted speakers and the refrigerator made a clicking noise all the time no chair for desk for computer dirty couch in room did not sat on it.
- Hunter (2/5): - Dirty sheets and sketchy aera
- Verified traveler (4/5): 1/10 Hotel - Room stunk had a musty smell. Had a room that connected to us party and play loud music till about 3 in the morning. The front desk spoke little English "to ask if we wanted a smoking or non smoking room at check in all he did was make the motion with his hand to his mouth like he was smoking and we told him no" he shook his head and smiled. Very sketchy place, highly do not recommend
- Telvis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (2/5): - Service is terrible. Room was disgusting and falling apart. Celing in the batroom about to fall in due to water damage and a big hole where the vent goes. Holes in the walls near the base boards. Room was NASTY! Refused a refund or discount due to the conditions and sold out so no other rooms avaialble. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
- Don (5/5): Passable - There was no breakfast. Ice machine was out of order! I had to go and buy a bag of ice.
- Ashla (5/5): The room was nice enough to stay when you’re on a budget. The hotel is close to a lot of fast food places.. - The place was clean. The bed was comfortable. The ice machine was broken
- Yulexi (2/5): - Smell bad and bathroom stinks and beds are stained
- B (2/5): Very poor - Everything
- Bruce (10/5): - It's fine for a one night stay. Will stay again in the future though. 😁
- Luis (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Needs work - The hotel is very dated. No closet, hangers, no ice , no coffee maker or iron.Mold in the bathroom tub , paint is peeling and chipping. Bed linens had to be changed due to stains and blood stain on pillows. Not enough towels paid extra $15 for my grand daughter. No crib available as advertised. This is a motel for an overnight if you really , really can’t afford better. I had to beg for extra towels and cloths to bathe. Fridge was filthy the dust build up around the fridge was disgusting. Door had to be kicked at the bottom to close all the way. I was there for a funeral.
- Martin (1/5): Bad facility - Dirty rooms. Facility is run down Nothing
- Greg (4/5): - Recently painted but already damaged and dirty. One of dresser drawers was missing the front. Holes patched in walls boarded over and painted. Metal box under bed noisy. People smoking outside room and in adjacent rooms. Main security lock on door broken. Walls and floor dirty.
- Ruben (3/5): I wish I can have a refund would never ever stay there ever again - Pictures on line do not meet expectations room cleanliness not up to smelled funky like curry disinfectant not used had to use my own products towels not grade one it’s a hourly motel than an inn or suite The smell looks like an two hour low level motel it stank wasn’t comfortable at all
- TERESA (10/5): - This property was very clean. Staff was very helpful and professional. Check in was very easy. I had no issues. Everything was working. I loved their ice machine. I'll definitely go back there.
- Arlene (2/5): Nasty Hotel! - Roaches running around room, Covers were nasty so was the pillows. I slept on top of the covers because it was so nasty!
- Don (6/5): Good clean room at a reasonable price. - The location was convenient, no breakfast was available at the hotel. I would stay there again. NA
- Terry (6/5): - Outdated, but clean
- Barbour (7/5): Good -
- Dawn Lynn (2/5): - If I would have given a negative number, I would have. The toilet was broken (wobbled and not secure to the floor), the doors were all taped with duct tape, there were bugs. The 'staff member', we believe he was the owner (would not tell us), said the room was fine, but if we wanted another one, he would show us. It was no better than the 1st room (same issues, right next door to the 1st room); he even tried to show us the original room again. We informed him we could not stay there, and he said we would not get a refund. Then he said $50 instead of the $90 it cost. We were not even in the room more than 5 minutes. Not impressed and we will be pursuing other avenues to get our money back. Disgusting, flithy place, and disrespectfully owner/staff.
- Joshua (7/5): Good -
- Mark (2/5): - Room smelled bad, property dark no lighting, people standing around looking myscevioud
- Deborah (7/5): Good -
- Deborah (5/5): Passable -
- Ervin (6/5): - Very dated. Grounds undightly. Lack of staff
- Sincere (2/5): - Bad
- Mike C. (10/5): - Better rate than pretty much everyone in the area cause of the casinio not a crappy hotel just cheaper
- marcus (10/5): - Friendly staff and comfortable stay
- Rhoda (4/5): - Not a very clean
- Leona (2/5): - This was not worth $90. The room did have a lot of furniture. Places on walls especially had different kinds of paint and the baseboards were filthy. Black around the tub and all. The sink area looked new. The worse of it all were people hanging out in the parking lot screaming at each other. Don’t know if it was drug dealing or what then I called the owners he was asleep and said he would take care of it which never happened so it got so bad I had to call 911. While on the phone with them the dispatcher and me heard a loud boom. It could have been a fun I don’t know. She told me to make sure I locked the doors and she would send someone so around 5 am they finally left. It was extremely scary and I was by myself. My husband passed away so I was there by myself. I should not have to pay for this visit so be aware of the places you stay. The other place I use to stay was price gouging so that is why I picked this place.
- Drah-mensah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (4/5): Disappointing - The room seemed to be under construction or maybe..Remodel...the bathroom needs Major Repair....and need a different style bath mat... instead of a Paper mat...
- Harrison (3/5): hopefully i never have to go back to Danville, VA. Booking.com should drop these people - location rude staff, horrible room, overpriced
- Shanika (8/5): Very good -
- Jamie (5/5): Passable - Nothing People outside were loud all night, random people outside parked
- Melanie (7/5): Good - Clean comfortable worth the price match The WiFi didn’t work and the blankets could be thicker
- Stan (5/5): Passable - There was no breakfast. The online add clearly said complimentary breakfast. After checking in, I asked about the breakfast, only to be told that there was no breakfast. I pulled up the add on my tablet to show the add. The attendant said the form I signed at check-in showed no breakfast. I shared with him that the only reason I picked this hotel was because of the online ad showing that they did have breakfast. This was a great disappointment. The misleading ad (bait and switch).
- Harris (6/5): Fair - No wear to hang your clothes
- Shante (7/5): Good -
- Kim (7/5): I will probably stay here in the future-- they have smoking rooms. A plus for me. - Did not receive breakfast-- was not aware there was a breakfast. The location is direct and straightforward. Easy access to Route 29 north and South. Noise was minimal. The room did not have anywhere to hang my clothes (on hangers). Also, there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign that I could place on my door-- the maid woke by knocking asking to change sheets and towels. It was not needed the first night. Also, I killed 3 small insects in the room. They need to bug-bomb their rooms.
- Shanika (7/5): Good -
- Al-mutawakkil (7/5): Good -
- Tim (4/5): - it was available. looked very run down
- Riegel (1/5): Bad - nothing the amount of bugs and was very dirty
- Wright (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stay - The man at the front desk was rude and the room was gross Had stains on the bed and the bathroom had hair and sticky substance all over the place. Looks like the bathroom had been repaired by someone who was blind.
- Deanthony (4/5): Disappointing -
- Roy (2/5): Cluelessness - I ordered online 8 double rooms for an athletic team trip. Because the manager gave me 7 doubles, I had to reserve an extra room. And it took an exceedingly long time to process
- Cristian (7/5): Good -
- ANTOINETTE (10/5): - Didn’t stay there
- Anonymous (3/5): Never again - Not much Old and dirty
- Joshua (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (3/5): Never again there - Nothing Poorly maintained, nothing updated in YEARS, no coffee pot, no hair dryers, towels were awful, hotel person was not available
- Anonymous (1/5): Very poorly cleaned bugs in the room - Nothing Very dirty
- Dunkley (3/5): I hate that place - Nasty Room was nasty
- Davis (1/5): Bad - Nothing about the place Everything
- Lloyd (5/5): Passable -
- Derrick (8/5): Very good - Room was clean Nothing.
- Hafner (7/5): Good -
- Sabrina (1/5): Don't Do It! - Nothing!!! Everything. I didn't even stay there slept in my car. The place was filthy, smelled like Marijuana and Wet Dog, walls filthy, burn holes in bedspread. Saw drug activity Remove them from places to stay on your website. They refused to refund me and wouldn't come to the room for me to show them my issues
- Jessica (1/5): Bad -
- Maverick (4/5): Seedy area, outdated and gross - N/A No breakfast as advertised. Location is in a seedy area of town. Bathtub was dirty. TV remote had no batteries, so no way to get the TV on. Just overall not worth the money. Won't be returning.
- Remonia (1/5): Bad - Smell and big bugs
- Don (4/5): Never stay there again. - The location Reserved two non-smoking rooms w/double beds. Was told at check-in that they had one non-smoking room and one smoking. What we got was two smoking rooms. The sign in the lobby said: " NO SMOKING". I guess that meant the lobby, not the rooms. The desk clerk had English as a third language.
- Scott (2/5): - This property was our only real option after being stranded for a failed rock festival nearby. Once checked in, the room wasn't all that unpleasant, except for the fact that there was no latch lock, and the bathroom door wouldn't close and was "bashed in" from the inside. We decided to head to bed from the long night before. The next morning, we had noticed there were some bugs in the room, maybe not roaches but they were larger and concerning. We attempted to find someone to talk to but no one was there at the front desk. After waiting a bit, we had left to go out for food and explore the area a bit. We came back later that night, checked the room for anymore bugs but luckily finding none, and decided to crash for the night. Once we woke up in the morning, we had found several more bugs throughout the room, and decided that was enough. AGAIN we tried to find someone there to help us with the issue, but with no one there again at the front desk, we decided to pack up and leave, possibly being able to resolve this over the phone later. After trying to contact the property, and then getting expedia involved in trying to help us with this issue, expedia stated that the property had agreed on refunding us 2 of the 4 nights that we booked, since we left before we stayed those last 2 nights. Expedia let me know that we had to contact the hotel directly to get this refund, in which I did, only to be met with the "owner" claiming absolutely no refunds.
- Jim (2/5): Run away - This place is totally disgusting needs a fresh overall. Filthy carpet, walls need painting and the bed like sleeping on a board. Definitely not worth the price
- Cornelius (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (1/5): Was a last resort as all the other hotels were booked. Very very dirty, the whole building needs to be deep cleaned. Eve - Only this is that it’s close to everything. Very dirty. Doesn’t look like they clean anything. Rooms included.
- Ashleigh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Davia (2/5): Watch out and don’t get kidnapped - This place honestly needs to be shut down. The rooms need updated and cleaned better, they also need a lot of repairs. That wasn’t even what got the one star from me, it was when I was checking out I went to the office by myself while my boyfriend finished packing the car. A white man driving a gray jeep Cherokee with VA plates and super tinted windows with a pot leaf tattoo on this right calf came in and was bugging me. Talking about have you ever done anything spicy or done a threesome. Also going into detail of what he would do to me. He tried to take me out of the office and I know he was going to try and rape me. I had to call my boyfriend to come to the office and that’s when the man left. Then a woman that was with him came into the office and threw a paper bag into the office and left.
- Barnes (6/5): Pleasant - Location
- Kaitlyn (2/5): - Went to check in after booking a room and was yelled at told I had no run and told to leave. Expedia customer service was very helpful in getting me another place to stay pretty fast but the customer service at this place is awful.
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (7/5): Everything was peaceful. Kids were happy. Enjoyed the weekend event we were in town for. - Water was clean, other guests were respectful of noise, on a quieter street (little road noise) beds were fine. Flip over door lock broken. Deadbolt worked. Door bent in. Had to slam top and bottom at the same time to shut out light coming through. Probably had been forcibly entered at one point. Basically what can be expected from lowest budget hotel in town.
- Dave (1/5): won;t come back - nothing , i didn;t like the check in process, felt irritable, had to pee when i got there said i couldn;t come in and pee, didn;tlike that at all, place run down look, checked into my room, while i was unloading a person approached me and ask if he could wipe down my truck i said hell no its 10;00 at nite, felt like i was going to be robbed,i called the front desk and told them, i think he was homeless he slept in his car that nite ,saw him in the morning walking around run down property not properly maintained
- Benjamin (3/5): Poor - Dirty, shower mold, cracks in the tile.
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessie (1/5): Worst hotel - Nothing Everything it was horrible holes everywhere things weren't bolted to the wall the bed kept moving around it was even mounted to the wall at all
- Ed (2/5): Very poor - Proximity Staff were not attentive; room was dirty with run down furniture and wall trim.
Never go there again!!
- John (8/5): Basic but nice for the price - Comfortable bed, microwave & fridge was nice amenity, affordable price. Although Wendy’s & McDonald’s are very close, no “fine” dining nearby. Check-in was like going to a bank - behind glass, credentials sent in by a sliding tray.
- David (2/5): - Bed bugs no refund in clean room
- Orlandi (5/5): Convenient, but basic Hotel with easy access from and to Highway 29. - Danville being such a small tow, the Hotel is conveniently positioned to reach the highway in as little as 3 minutes, while being surrounded by places to eat. Parking is free and in front of the rooms. While expectations weren't necessarily high, given the sub-par reviews, I was not satisfied by the cleanliness of the Hotel Room. The age of the facility and room was starting to show, and in some areas the finishing/grouting was exposing external linings.
- Sha-nika (2/5): It was my birthday - Nothing It’s old they are remolding it’s on the highway very noisy
- Richard (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bronny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crane (9/5): Superb - There's no carpet! Synthetic hardwood floors only. The weather. Warm outside, please turn the heat back.
