Carm (1/5): Hampton Inn were known for comfort and cleanliness! - The breakfast was good. This was by far the most disgusting Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel was dirty from the moment we walked in. One of the elevators wasn’t working, and there was no air conditioning in the hallways on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th floors absolutely miserable. We had to change rooms because the door handle on the inside broke off in my hand. The carpets were stained, and the room reeked of mold. It was musty, damp, and totally uncomfortable. Extremely disappointed in the condition of this property. Hampton Inn needs to seriously address the maintenance and cleanliness at this location. I would not recommend staying here.

Mcdowell (8/5): Oct Stay in Deland - Overall the hotel was very good. Staff friendly & helpful. The breakfast area was bright, good food choices, fresh fruit, well stocked. The lobby was bright & welcoming . Good, well lit on-site parking . Very limited space for your clothes. 3 small pull out baskets in the TV stand & a closet. We never really unpacked our suitcases due to limited space.

Allen (10/5): - I expect a clean place for my stay as basic for choosing a place and the hotel exceeded on that front as well as all others. The small things add up to a good stay. A great shower and very comfortable beds. A room with great room darkening curtains, a quiet exhaust fan, a most helpful staff, reasonably good location at a reasonable price.

Alison (10/5): DeLand vacation - The breakfast was delicious! Lots of variety and well maintained. The women putting out the food were super friendly and I got to know them even though our stay was brief. The room was clean, although it did not get serviced while we were there. It was a brief stay, so not a big deal. We used up our last towels, but we didn't need more, so that was fine. I went in the pool one day and would have stayed in longer, but the weather did not cooperate!

Peggy (6/5): - We have stayed at Hampton Inns in the past and they were very nice if a bit pricey. However, this time when we arrived, there appeared to be spots is grease or oil on the tile floor. Other than that the room was spotless. Our main complaint was with the water. When my husband showered, the water was incredibly hot and he had a difficult time getting the temperature down using the faucet handle. He was in the shower only 5minutes. When I got in the shower, I could get no hot water at all and had to take a cold shower. $162 seemed a bit much to pay for this room.
Samantha (4/5): Won’t be back. - Not much. Dirty carpets thru out, ran out of comp water (got some lame excuse about hot weather - um, plan ahead based on reservations), coffee service erratic, hot hallways, old bedding, hair in shower. I could go on. We book at Hampton for all the other reasons that we didn’t find here. Will go elsewhere in future visit to deland.

Over all so not impressed especially when sights said it was good. Also, the ac unit was damage. The customer service rep said “I bet someone was hiding something “!!
Kristen (4/5): - The hallways had no air conditioning and was super hot. The carpet had stains all over them. The barhroom had water all over the floor. The toilet was not clean. The shower had a leak. You could barely see out the windows they were so dirty or had residue on them. But the staff was nice and the breakfast was good!
Kildare (5/5): Eh. - Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean. Breakfast food was yummy. Lobby was very presentable. Hotel is near main roads. Parking had decent lighting. Hallway and bedroom ACs were not working well. Luckily, staff found a room with an okay AC. Bedroom furnishings were showing their wear and tear (ex: only 1 working elevator, bath fixtures were wobbly, carpet was dated).
Jessica (6/5): - Autumn at the front was amazing and the best part of our stay. Very welcoming and engaging. Excellent customer service. The hallways felt like a sauna. I read this in reviews from three months prior before I booked my stay. I sadly assumed they would have repaired the air situation within three months. Not the case. The beds felt like I was sleeping on concrete. So uncomfortable. The room smelled and was very unpleasant. The great customer service was our only positive from our stay.

Robin (8/5): A Pretty Good Stay! - The hotel is in a great central location - very close to downtown and not too bad of a drive to local springs. The studio room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the smart tv with Netflix, Calm and IHeart radio. Free breakfast was excellent, with a variety of foods and different egg dishes each day. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind and helped resolve a few issues. The issues included not being able to get into the room with the key card repeatedly, no ice available, except on one floor, the door to the room not closing properly without pushing it and making sure it was closed and there was a leak down the wall, showing as a red stain and the wallpaper was coming loose. Having said that, they’re making efforts to remodel and fix such issues and I’d have no hesitation to stay again.

There's no A/C in the hallway areas and there's an elevator that has been out of service since last year. The alarm clocks batteries were dead and leaking acid into the clocks interior. This might be the last year i stay at this property.

I ever use this hotel occasionally over several years, and it’s beginning to show it’s wear… Needs to be refreshed. Mattress was very hard.

Lawrence (4/5): Does the aliens live here? - If you love the alien experience this is the place for you.The elevator and hallway was hot ;one elevator was slow. After traveling,approx. 850 miles a nice sleep would have been welcome ;but, the a/c took off like a space ship running for 45 minutes, then landed and the did this all night.This was reported. It would have been nice, if someone told us there was no housekeeping .We saw the maid as we were leaving and she said Oh,r u leaving. Let us not forgetting, the yapping dog next door. I have stay here several times before,but this is my last nightmare dream. The mattress needs to be changed out. I am at home now and can get some sleep.
