- Lori (10/5): - This property was right on the beach in walking distance to most of the restaurants. Very clean and had great outdoor space. It also had a small pool with connecting restaurant. It did not have an indoor close line so you would need to bring your own or hang it outside. Also our room did not have a closet but who needs a closet at the beach.

Shantel took care of my 86yr old mom for the day which allowed me a day of snorkeling. Deyri was amazing in assisting us with our stay too. Bella the Shepard dog and Steven the security guy are amazing and so kind to us. We never had a bad second with our stay and even stayed an extra night. We know we will be back to say hello.

We stayed in the travelers roost; and I really like the space and distance upstairs from the other rooms. the property is very cute, and well maintained. The staff is so helpful and accommodating! I would stay here again. The only thing that is mentioned on their site is their restaurant isn’t open for dinner everyday.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Will go back - Perfect spot for unwinding. Quiet. Safe. NICE PEOPLE. There are golf carts for rent if you want to wander. Nice, reasonably priced restaurant on site. 20 minute flight from Belize city then 25 min ride to Hopkins.

He greeted us and make sure we got back to our rooms safely. The manager when leaving asked us if there’s was anything we can improve. That is a sign of great customer service. - Andrew (8/5): - I call this property a work in progress. They should add television to rooms for rainy days and forcwhen guests just want to chill. The pool should stay open longer as the ocean is not viable when rough. The restaurant should always be available for three mealsbeach day and should close later. Let all know where to park and how they should park. They have a great security guard who walks the property from dusk to dawn and introduces himself so all are aware he is around.

Suggest renting bikes to explore Hopkins. It’s fun to bike to the bigger resorts on the other side. Go to the pier at Pelican resort for sure. Amazing ceviche bar and fun rope swing for kids to jump off of.

- Charles (10/5): Great place for a getaway - While we only stayed one night at Coconut Row, I have nothing but good things to say about it. They provided a very reasonably priced transport from the Dangriga airport ($55USD for 1-3 people) and the driver was extremely nice. The owner/operator dropped by to say hello and check on us on our only morning there. The property was clean and welcoming. The room was clean and nice. There were some things that were out of their control (seasonal Sargassum) but they were so nice and apologetic for it even. If you want to run the AC non-stop, there will be a fee ($10), but that did not bother us as at all. They allow you to run it from ~ 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, which seems fine to cool your room down for the night and sleeping. I did not get the additional nickel-and-dime feel about it. It makes sense to me with availability and cost of electricity. And frankly, if you are in Hopkins Bay, Belize, or anywhere for a reclusive tropical getaway for that matter, you should be expecting Caribbean summer climate and minimal heat/air accommodations. Our stay was very short, but I will come back here again if ever in the area. For a short or long stay. Regardless, nothing but good things to say.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hospitality and relaxed setting! - Very nice and well manicured small and very relaxing resort with very warm and personal service. Owners and staff are dedicated to making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. I also had an issue with a flat tyre on my rental car which they were super helpful in getting me to somewhere it could be fixed swiftly. Local Food they served was also great in a pleasant outdoor bar and dining area. Definitely on my list to potentially come back to!
- Patrick (10/5): You better Belize it! - Coconut Row was in a great location and everyone was super friendly and helpful. It had a family feel to it. The food was great and they helped us when our picky eaters wanted beige food! This property was a little tired but we still came away with happy memories. They offer a laundry service which was a life saver for a family of four travelling for 3 weeks. Literally on the beach and a short drive to a number of nature reserves. Will be visiting again!!

Modesto on reception looked after us from the moment we arrived, even bringing an umbrella to our room when it rained so we wouldn’t get wet going to dinner. The hotel manager was also lovely, ensuring all was ok and the hotel restaurant also great. The curry for dinner and coconut, banana, pineapple smoothie for breakfast was delicious! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and interested in helping us to explore the area and learning about the local culture. If relaxing in the hammocks / chairs on the beach is more your thing that was always available. We felt completely safe and the local Garifuna culture and locals were warm and friendly. We’ll be back!!!

It's NOT a hotel, keep that in mind when you book. Yes they have cleaning service, but don't expect hotel amenities when you select coconut row. If you want a hotel, book a hotel. This place makes you feel at home from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave. Kyra at the front desk is AMAZING. Actually, the entire staff is friendly and super helpful. They don't bother you with little things, they let you, and in fact encourage you, to relax. It felt like I was on my own private beach. It's very picturesque. You can book excursions through the front desk and charge to your room so you can worry about it later. I did snorkeling which was incredible and the cave tour which was unreal. If you are looking for a down to earth, quiet beach vacation that isn't littered with other guests coming and going then this is the place for you. xcvxcv

- Cheri (8/5): Great location. Wonderful Staff - The beach is beautiful. We were able to relax. The staff always greeted us with a smile and were very accommodating. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work and it was really hot so we couldn’t sleep well. They did give us 1 free breakfast for the inconvenience which we appreciated. No TV and the Internet didn’t work in our room, but there was internet in the restaurant.
- Margaret (10/5): Amazing views - We stayed four nights while we snorkeled, fished, rappelled waterfalls, and visited Lobsterfest in Placencia. It was the perfect location. Every morning we watched the sunrise from the beach to start our day.

- Duncan (10/5): Awesome hotel in tranquil village - Coconut Row and Buttonwood, sister facilities, are exceptional properties and the on-site owners and staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! Being very small, lacking major shopping and dining venues, and a bit remote, Hopkins is probably not to everyone's taste, but if you want a tranquil, unhurried and peaceful Caribbean holiday this fits the bill. There are several good snorkel, scuba and inland tour operators, as well as excellent restaurants (try Geckos!) in Hopkins, so it does have most of the activities that Belize visitors are looking for. If you decide to go, Coconut Row and Buttonwood Lodge are excellent options right in the village and I highly recommend either of them. You will not be disappointed. The scuba diving out on the reef is excellent, if a bit of a boat ride, and don't miss Glovers Reef if at all possible.it makes a wonderful three tank full day adventure.

- Stephen (8/5): Almost perfect - Location is great; its actually in town instead of 2 miles away like the other resorts. Manager and employees are very nice. The only things that keep it from getting 5-stars is a few little things: the AC had a very bright LCD light when it was on so the room wasn't as dark as I would like at night, the hot water was a little inconsistent, there is no associated restaurant so you have to find a place in town (which is easy enough, but sometimes you just want to be super lazy on the beach).
