Derek (8/5): - Clean, quiet room. Buildings need some noticeable maintenance, but doesn't affect the quality of the room. Kitchen in the room was great. Just needs a few items such as a dish cloth, dish towels, dish soap, paper towel. Things to help guests tidy up. Beds are a bit too firm and the room was overly warm for what we country folks are used to but no thermostat in the room makes it difficult to regulate. Overall, we had a pleasant weekend stay and would recommend anyone needing a decently priced room to stay at the 7 West motel.

Room wasn’t very nice or clean obviously the bedding hadn’t been changed since the last person stayed there were a pair of socks under the sheets at the end of the bed that weren’t mine. But was a cheap place to stay. Never again.

Looked like mold around the tub surround. There was electrical cords plugged into power bars running the tv and microwave. Wouldnt recommend it.

Cinthya (8/5): - Overall, our stay was fine. The facility is dated, but tidy. Our room was a newer renovated studio kitchenette (in a separate building). It was clean. The beds were a bit harder than we are used to, but we slept ok. The only real discomfort we had was the room temp. The heat was on, and there was no available AC, making the room quite warm. The window dod not have a screen, so we did not feel comfortable leaving it open all night. Overall, if you are looking for a budget friendly, tidy, basic room, Motel 7 fits the bill. Alex, at reception, is friendly and enthusiastic, and wanting your stay to be comfortable. Yes, the place could use lots of upgrades, but we didn't pay for the Ritz. We had a decent sleep, and a great shower, for a low price.

Luc (6/5): The price makes it worthwhile - Was staying 2 nights with many family members for a wedding. This is not the Hilton; it is economical and has the basic necessities to sleep, shower, ... The owner is very nice, warm greetings and attentive. If you just need a place to crash for an event or whatever, and don't want to break the bank, this place is recommended.

tony (2/5): Not for me - This place is disgusting. We booked 3 rooms for 3 individuals at a cost of $100 per room plus tax. I am sorry I am all for the little entrepreneur attempting to keep up and this is why we chose this place, but it was horrible, and should probably be torn down and rebuilt. The hotel is drastically run down and the online pictures were obviously taken many many years ago. And I am not sure how it has the rating it has First of all the hotel appeared to be vacant, yet appararently sold out. Then we find out that rooms could not be together as they have had to “close a few rooms”. I know why now. One of the rooms we could not have a key for, for awhile, as the last individual that rented did not return it but was on way back to return the key as he lived in town. Which makes you wonder why someone that lives locally needs a hotel room.? The owner / manager offered a discount if we would run to the local hardware store to get a key made. One room the bathroom was horrendous as there is mold under the bathroom sink, the tub was rusted and appeared to be cleaned a few decades ago.The towels were brown in colour and unable to see if they were clean.I have used portapotties that were less disgusting. One room had a giant bug on the wall , yes we took pictures, Another room a bug ran across the bed. The end result is one room was not used at all as I drove an hour to a distant relative house to sleep on the couch, one room the occupant could not stay in and was up all night a

One surprise, was heat isnt on when suites are vacant....but honestly, didnt take long to warm up. Beds weren't the worst - bathroom, water has a funny smell. Maybe not used often? Overall - it was decent. The price was good and it certainty served its purpose.

The property is undergoing renovation, but it was not loud or disruptive. However, the front desk was not available at the time that it said it would be (2:30 pm) online, and nobody answered the phone on any of the times I called before check in or after. I ended up not being able to check in until about 3:45 pm even though the stated hours were from 2:30 pm.

The room was great as far as cleanliness but it did not provide the amenities, coffee, soap, shampoo etc that is usually provided for an overnight hotel stay. The room did have a full kitchen as if for a longer stay, say a week. Just was not a usual motel/hotel room for overnight stays.

Peter (4/5): - Misleading.... The pictures that are online are not what the room is. I did take pictures. For starters, the room had a funky odour to it. The carpets were filthy our white socks were black after walking across room. Lets not get started on the air conditioning unit, it did absolutely nothing, I checked the filter and it was clogged with dirt and dust or whatever it had. Just by looking at the filter I can only imagine what the rest of the unit looked like. Lets talk about the floor at the entrance of the room, it measures approximately 3.5 ft by 3.5 ft square that is raised roughly an inch and a half higher than the rest of the floor in the room. This poises a massive tripping hazard in the middle of the night in the dark. The main door isn't secure, the chain is coming off the wall as well as the handle isn't that secure. The bathroom is an area of concern. Where the toilet and the bathtub/shower is to small. You can barely move around. The bathtub doesn't drain well because there seems to be a trough in the middle, most likely the tub has collapsed there. this is also making it hard to stand in the tub. The water flow and faucet. There is fluctuation in water pressure and temperature. The controls are old an the spout is rusting. The beds seem to new but extremely hard in time they might soften up. This motel isn't disabled friendly, there are no ramps up to the rooms. Also the first driveway entrance has a huge pot hole that can cause damage to a vehicle.

Mark (6/5): You owe it to yourself to go elsewhere - Our first thought was oh crap, no matter what we paid let's just go find another place. The exterior looked run down. When we checked the room out (213) we were met with the extreme smell of cleaning agents. (it was clean). And the mattress were surprisingly firm and in good condition. The bed linens were alot outdated but manageable. However..... The bathtub faucet had a constant drip. There was mold or grime or dirt or something near the bottom of the door by the bathtub. If the bathroom had been recently "renovated" they did a terrible job. There were cracked tiles. (maybe they didn't get the this room yet?).... We were there just to put our heads on a pillow for the night. Next time we will spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

The glass tops of the dresser, coffee table, etc in the room were spotless. The bathroom will need some upkeep, but it is clean. I found the owner is very friendly and easy to talk to.
