Lots of fast food and other restaurant's close by. Manager was very helpful and polite. Would recommend the Barrons Motor Inn, as great place to stay!

Our granddaughter was with us, and the morning after we got there, the owner had a small box of Timbits waiting for her at the desk. Later that day, he went out to get her an ice cream sundae when we got back to the hotel. 10/10 would stay here again! The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable!

• Janet (10/5): - This is a very convenient location right on Hwy 7, which I thought would be noisy, but it was very quiet. The room was spacious and newly renovated and had a fridge and a microwave which was great as I ordered in food and was able to have it over two nights. Unfortunately, cabs are very difficult to secure in a timely fashion, and I was a vendor in the art show at the arena, so the lovely owner offered to drive me there himself! He was so friendly and sweet. The price was right, and I would stay there again if I am again in Carleton Place.

• Louis-Mathieu (10/5): Exceptional service - We had a pleasant stay at the Barons Motor Inn. We has an issue with our car (unrelated with the hotel - flat tire) which was recognized by the front desk who alerted us of the problem and contacted a friend who was able to inflate the tire sufficiently to be able to get to the closest Canadian Tire (A1 Towing). Exceptional service!
• Douglas (10/5): - my wife is the judge and she says it is one of the best, if not the best places to stay. We found it to be super clean, easy to access and the restaurant across the street next door (Recommended by Kit the manager was really top notch. (THRUWAY RESTAURANT)

• Laura (10/5): Great Place! - I stayed at the Barons Motor Inn for two nights. The place is great! My room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. I look forward to my next stay there. The front desk staff was very accommodating.
• Marsha (8/5): - Comfortable beds and pillows. Pot lights in the ceiling were nice. Decorated nicely in rooms. Nice table and chairs and couch. Nice quiet air conditioner. Small fridge is a good size. On the outside it could be more inviting with a nice patio set and more plants.Put a picnic table and gazebo on the beautiful back yard would be a wonderful touch to the property. Towels could be nicer brown are faded . Toilet is low to the floor so be careful.

I wanted to make some tea and he brought me nice little coffee cup and plug in water kettle:) The price is reasonable. And the location is great! There is a nice little area with restaurants on Bridge St. close by. I had great Indian food there. And on another night we I went to a gastro pub near by. Both places were amazing and everyone I encounter was friendly.
• Michelle (10/5): - From the moment I walked into the hotel, the owner was most pleasant and extremely helpful. The room was far larger than I expected and was so clean. I had occasion to chat with the owner and his wife a couple of times and they were very friendly every time I chatted with them. I was staying there under difficult circumstances and when the owner learned of this, he was most empathetic and compassionate. It made the trip a more pleasant experience even under difficult circumstances.
