I couldn’t sleep because of the smell. The hotel is old and run-down especially for the price. In my opinion it is only a 2-star hotel.

The staff are incredibly helpful, professional, and polite, which makes the whole experience even better. The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend including the breakfast with your stay — it’s really good and there’s plenty to choose from. You should also try the buffet dinner. It’s excellent value for money, with so many options, and everything is delicious. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Izmir. Thank you, Kaya Prestige, for another great stay! I liked everything

• Bulent (10/5): Excellent Stay at Kaya Prestige Izmir! - I had a fantastic stay at Kaya Prestige Izmir on October 14, 2025. I was extremely satisfied with several aspects of the hotel. Firstly, the personnel were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. Their interest and hospitality truly made a positive difference. Secondly, I found the elevators to be very efficient, which is often important in a busy hotel. Finally, the internet speed was excellent and reliable, which was great for my needs. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff for their excellent service!

• A8629BLtomk (2/5): Take care of guests first then the earth - Rude and nasty customer service. No air conditioning in the room and asked to open the windows for cool air. So terrible and the food choices are rare. I will not recommend it to anyone. All night I was awake and could not sleep with high room temperature.
• Maccy (5/5): Passable - The hotel was clean and comfortable, the reservation staff was helpful in changing my mums room for a disabled one due to an unexpected injury she had. It is centrally based and within walking distance to most central landmarks. within walking distance from the tram stop, bus stop, shopping bazaar (Kemeralti), exchange bureau, supermarkets, main central park (fuar) and the sea front bars and restaurants. My mum had a broken knee cap and couldn't walk, so we requested a late check out for 1 of the 3 rooms we had booked, they were not able to offer a late check out but a full day rate, I had an appointment in the morning and had to rush off, but i said i would check out of the other two rooms and settle up on the other in an hour. The reception staff demanded that i make payment first, this made me feel like they were questioning my ability to pay and or they did not trust me, i personally found it quite insulting and offensive, but made the payment (which took some time) and i was late for my appointment. On my return I went to check on my mum, I helped her to use the bathroom, got her settled so she had everything she needed. 10 minutes later i got a call from reception reminding me that we had only paid for 1 person to be in the room and asked if i was going to be leaving the room shortly? I was disgusted with his attitude and manner, I told him that we had paid for a full additional day, of which we would only use 5 hours, i was helping my mum as she couldn't manage to get to the bathroom by herself. At this point I had had enough and told him i was coming down for a refund and i would go to another hotel. I got downstairs and the manager was waiting for me at reception, I pointed out the chain of events that morning and told him that his staff were not mindful of their customers, he apologised on their behalf for the way they had spoken to me. I informed him that the only reason for our choice to stay at the Kaya Prestige was because they had catered for our wedding 25 years ago and we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I have left it a while before writing a review, but i still feel the same, i wouldn't go back to the Kaya Prestige. Their staff are in need of further customer service training, as the service they offer, impacts the memory of our holidays. When I think back to our stay here, sadly the negatives overrule the positives.

• Sindi (2/5): I really appreciate some of the workers. As I said above, waiters and doormens and 2 ladies in the reception. - The doormans and the waiters were really nice and helpful. The location is great. So close to the beach and to public transport. Breakfast is good but it can also have some more variety. I would not go for a second time for these reasons: 1. They did not clean my room or change towels and toilet paper. They did it only after first night and then it stoped. I bought toilet paper for myself. 2. I had to call many times asking for the cleaning service or clean towels and they didn’t come. 3. I asked for a toothpaste since there wasn’t in the toilet and they send that they do not provide it but they are giving me only 1. ( it is a 4 star hotel) 4. The toilet tiles are not washed properly after clients leave. There were very old watermarks and spots in the shower cabin and in the tiles. For me it was not nice to get a shower and notice those each night. 5. Please also take care of the baby chairs, it is important to clean them from time to time. We got one and it was soo dirty.

• marthalm2016 (6/5): Non Working AC Ruined the Experience - This hotel caters to tour groups so it's often very busy in the lobby & restaurant and noisy. The included breakfast was okay and there was variety. The restaurant menu was good, service was excellent and the pasta meals quite delicious. The room had comfortable beds but the AC did not work despite the technician advising it did. 27C (80F) room temperature was unacceptable & ruined the overall experience at this hotel. The hotel is centrally located however since we were only here for the tour to Ephesus a good sleep was more important than location.

The location of the hotel is really good, it is close to the tourist areas and there is access to all public transportation, and there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel. The size of the rooms are suitable and clean, the equipment of the rooms are sufficiently charged every day. The minibar was empty and did not even cool, the air conditioner made a loud extra noise. The reception gave guidance as much as they could, but they were not fluent in English. The quality of the breakfast was average and there was not much variety during the week

• draltafarsiwala (2/5): Pathetic hotel - don't book!! - We stayed there for a night and we were utterly disappointed by the rooms, service, breakfast everything. What can go wrong in a hotel, ACTUALLY HAPPENED ! 1. The rooms we recieved the AC wasn't working - room temperature was 30°C, the manager was unhelpful and kept telling we would check, we would check - nothing happened. Technician came but even he dint understand anything. So finally we had to change the room, the manager asked us to see rooms first before shifting (we did their work by checking rooms, as they themselves weren't aware which room the AC was working or not) 2. We checked close to 8 rooms wasting 3 hours of our time after reaching the hotel and got a room which max cooled to 27°C, manager told he wud provide us a table fan - but that too wasn't working 3. Service - we had 2 medium sized bags, 2 small bags. The bellboy says, I am working alone so I can't take the luggage all by myself, u have to help me. If u don't not possible to move 4 bags by myself. Seriously, does it go that way ! 4. Electricity issues - while having breakfast in the morning, there was no electricity. 8t came back after 1/2hr, so we ate our bfast in the dark 5. Safe box - I kept my valuables in it and closed it. But it dint open. I had to struggle to connect with all the hotel staff, he technician told - the safe was a problem, why did I put my valuables in the safe. Well then what's the purpose of the safe 🤔 The manager Geyzah was unhelpful, un-co operative. She dint do anything to solve our problem. While whatever help we got was from Mr. Ali, who did everything to make us feel better

Room was nice and clean and warm no complaints either. We even got a fruit plate. Shower was big and we had plenty of hot water. Clean! Location is perfect because we could walk everywhere. Breakfast was so so. Nothing special but not bad. Just nothing special. We would definitely come back

• MEHMET KEMAL (2/5): - 609 nolu oda duş teknesinin gideri çabuk tıkanıyor, teknenin alt slikonlarından tüm banyoya su akıyor, antre ışığı yanmıyor, odadaki telefon 0 ve 9 u çevirmiyor, harici telefondan arıyarak, oda servisiyle bağlantı kurmaya çalıştık, oda servisinin hemen bizi arayacağı söylendi, geç arandık, 55 nolu telefonla oda servisine ulaşmamız gerektiği ifade edildi, böyle bir bilgi odadaki rehberde veya herhangi bir yerde mevcut değildi, international anlayışta 55 de ne demek oluyor, odadaki şikayetleri bildirdik, tamam odayı değiştireceklerini bildirdiler ama 2 gecelik rezervasyonumuz olmasına rağmen, 1 gece kalıp, çıktık. Seuraavana yönä laitoimme Älä häiritä-lappua, ja kun menimme aamiaiselle laitoimme Siisti huonetta-lappua. Lappu oli siellä iltaan asti, mutta huonetta ei siivottu. Minibaarissa ei ollut mitään kun tulimme, hinnastoa oli vaan pöydällä. Kun soitin siitä respaan, sanottiin että minibaari ei kuulu hintaan, se maksaa ekstraa. Kysyin miten voin juoda mitään, jos jääkappi on tyhjä. Sitten tuotiin sinne juomat. Ravintolassa ei ollut illalla muita vieraita kun me. Kun olimme tilannut ruokaa, tuli siivooja imuroimaan pöytien välissä, vaikka ravintola oli vielä auki 2 tuntia. Liha oli sitkeetä, söin vaan puolet.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Kahvaltı Hariç... - Temizliği iyiydi. Otel merkezi bir konumda, lokasyonu gayet güzeldi. Yalnız kahvaltı ürünlerinin kalitesi otele yakışmayacak kadar kalitesizdi. Neredeyse hiç bir şey yiyemedim diyebilirim.
• haluk (2/5): gördüğün en kötü 4 yıldızlı oda tozlu yatak sanki - Nediyeyim verdiğim paranın hayrını görmesinler .böyle dört yıldız olamaz kim verdi ise bunlara yıldızı.sokakda iğne düşse odanın içinde ses.70 li yılların 'am aliminyum cerceve yatak sanki azönce yatılmıs her yer toz içinde.banyo akssesuarları pansiyondan bile az..hizmetmi resepsiyonda sanki evinden zorla getirilmiş bir evkadını.asık surat ve yakışmayan sorgulamalar.bu otele vallaha diyorum iki yıldız bile çok.kahvatı bir şey isteme adamı dövecekler gibi.ben bimer e yazacağım.böyle bir otelin 4 yıldızlı olması.türk turuzmi için yüzkarası.
