- Suzie (8/5): - The hotel is just by a metro station and a supermarket, so great location. Staff was nice and helpful. Reception closes at 8 PM, which almost caused us a big issue. Our passports were locked in a safe, but pin was not working. We needed a key. There was nobody to open the safe to us when we return to the hotel At 9:30 PM. After a few phone calls to the HDQ team and talking to the people at the Indian restaurant next door, they figure out a way to open the safe and saved the day, orher use we would miss out flight at 3 am, since they don’t open until 7. The room was big and comfortable.

- Roger Alexander (6/5): Na ja-guter Anschluss zu ÖV - Super war die Rezeption-sehr hilfsbereit etc. Achtung bei der Einfahrt in die Garage 1. Tor holt sehr weit aus-wenn man durch das Fenster mit dem Schlüssel öffnet steht man zu nahe, dann Einfahrt sehr eng und glitschig. Hinterradantrieb sehr schwierig zu korrigieren!!! Ansonsten mein Zimmer war geräumig unter dem Dach mit kleiner Terrasse. Sehr heiss, keine resp.nicht gute Verdunkelungsvorhänge, Klima bläst direkt aufs Bett, bei Hitze unter dem Dach sehr unangenehm. Safe war blockiert, im Badezimmer ein unangenehmer Geruch, oberflächlich aber sauber, Handtuchhalter 2/3 ausgerissen. Kein Duschmittel (Rezeption sofort korrigiert)Frühstück ok einfach bitte den Orangensaft mit weniger Wasser strecken. Mehr Zeit für die Details aufwenden vor allem bei der Putzabteilung, denke jedoch das ist dem Zeit-Spardruck vom Management geschuldet.

- P9672AEkamilr (2/5): Staying at the Empress Hotel - I would like to leave a review about this hotel. I only stayed here for one night. In principle, everything was fine, but for one thing. At the hotel check-in, the woman smelled of alcohol. As I noticed later, she was drinking beer in the kitchen. But in general, the room was great, although the bathroom was not quite clean.
- Megan (6/5): - Good location close to the tram stations. Property was ok, quite dusty and didnt seem to be cleaned very well. Toilet went werid the last day there and continually ran the while night.

Very good restaurants (Indian next door and Italian nearby) and a supermarket close by. Beds had quite hard matresses and awful pillows, so not comfortable.The curtain fell off when we closed it! The bathroom was a bit smelly. Very hot room (to be fair the temperature was particularly high when we stayed) and while we were grateful for the fan the room was very hot and the fan was noisy.

When we tried to get a replacement, we were told the housekeeping staff went home and we had to wait until the next day for clean products. That was not good customer service. Noisy - There is a restaurant entrance below our room which put a table outside so there was a lot of loud talking, laughing and drinking until after midnight for two days in a row. We had to shut the windows to sleep, but that cut off the fresh air and the room was stuffy.

- Mia (10/5): Dejligt sted for familien - Vi havde et godt ophold i et stort familieværelse. Det var rent og pænt. Kan godt anbefales og nemt at komme til og fra i bil. Der er gratis parkering på gaden, hvis man er heldig at finde en plads.

Although the hotel is quite close to an U-Bahn station, it takes a while to get there from the centre which wasn’t always ideal. Still a comfortable, quiet place to stay though and would recommend this hotel.

Overall the rest of the room was clean and comfortable. We traveled with our two kids (5 and 8) and it was a great set-up for us. Easy to access the subway (a 5 min walk) and organic grocery store and regular grocery store within walking distance as well.

- Amy (2/5): Terrible stay - Do not recommend! Booked this stay because listing had laundry listed but upon arriving, front desk Clerk Laura said no that’s not true. She didn’t offer any complication or help. Instead, she took a screen shot off the listing and later deleted that fact. I contacted hotels and they only offered me a credit towards a future visit. They also contacted Laura who agreed they don’t have laundry but no solution and no credit or refund. Additionally our room was directly above an Indian restaurant where it was noisy. People stood out front smoking which wafted straight up into our windows in addition to the street noise.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig. Manche Möbel sind schon ein bißchen älter, was aber überhaupt nicht stört.

Abends war es sehr laut. Nur teils frisches Frühstück so wie Rühreier, Wiener und Weißwürste. Der Rest war nicht frisch. Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen, müsste mal wieder etwas renoviert werden. Rundum Services war in Ordnung.

Though upon checking-in the staff did not tell us that there is free coffee in the morning which we could have made our stay more nicer. There is no air condition in the room, feels hot during the day, even when windows are open..

Sie liegt verkehrsgünstig - 5 Minuten zu U-Bahn und Bus - und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig, jedenfalls das Hinterhaus, in dem unser Zimmer lag. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, allerdings mit Ausnahme der Bäder etwas überaltert. Das Frühstück war reichlich, variantenreich und lecker. Nicht gefallen hat uns der Empfang, in dessen Rahmen uns vorgeworfen wurde eines der zwei gebuchten Zimmer nicht bezahlt zu haben. Ursache sei möglicherweise eine Unterdeckung der zur Zahlung benutzten Kreditkarte. Dazu ist zu bemerken, dass beide gebuchten Zimmer in einer Zahlung bezahlt worden waren und dies sowohl von Ebookers bestätigt als auch als Abbuchung in der Kreditkartenabrechnung nachweisbar war. Obwohl dies sicher war blieb ein Gefühl der Verunsicherung und Unzufriedenheit durch die Unterstellung

Jedoch könnte man beim Frühstück häufiger mal die Tische abwischen. Man musste erst darauf aufmerksam machen. Was nicht okay war, war die Sauberkeit der WCs im Erdgeschoss. Das geht so nicht. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war tadellos.

Die Rezeption ist nur teilweise besetzt (abstimmen), das Frühstück vielfältig. Alles schön, komme gern wieder, wenn ich wieder in der Gegend zu tun habe. U-Bahn-Anschluß ist auch fußläufig und man kann direkt zur Allianz-Arena durchfahren

- Teo (10/5): - Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, saubere Zimmer, mit alles was man braucht. Wir waren mit unseren kids dort (0 -4 jahre alt).Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit küche inklusive Töpfe, Teller, wasserkocher, etc. Reisebetten wurden uns zugestellt auf Anfrsge. Das einzige war das Frühstück, wo uch zu meckern hätte. Die Brötchen waren mini, aber auf Anfrage gibt es ebenfalls mehr davon. Leider wegen corona gibts kein Buffet sondern alles am platz. Alles barrierefrei. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

- Sebastian (8/5): angenehmer Aufenthalt würde ich wieder buchen - angenehmer Aufenthalt, Frühstück (10€ p.P.) wird aufgrund aktueller Corona Regelung serviert, kein direktes Buffet. Hotel sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, Parkplatz vorhanden, ist eine etwas enge Doppelparker TG, 12€ pro Tag. würde ich wieder buchen.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Schönes, ruhiges Hotel im Westen von München - Schönes Hotel etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt, aber mit guter Anbindung durch die U6. Ruhiges, sicheres Stadtviertel. Schöne Zimmer. Einziges Manko: kleiner Fernseher in gut gemeinter Spiegelkonstruktion. Konnte morgens den Fernseher des Nachbarn hören - vermute es liegt an der Konstruktion. Würde empfehlen, einfach, neuere und größere Flachbildschirme direkt an der Wand zu befestigen. Würde aber trotzdem nochmal im Empress übernachten, da ich es nur als kleines Manko empfunden habe und der Gesamteindruck wie gesagt sehr positiv war.

- BK (2/5): - Ich habe ein Hotelzimmer gebucht dies konnte ich leider durch die Ausgangssperre in Bayern nicht antreten trotz mehreren Anfragen zwecks eines neuen Termines oder der Erstattung wurde ich nur abgewiesen.
- FRANCESCO (10/5): Ottima soluzione - Abbiamo soggiornato in una soluzione con angolo cottura, che permette di avere i servizi alberghieri con le comodità di un piccolo appartamento. Camera molto confortevole e ampia. Posizione spendida, a pochi passi da metropolitana, supermercato e diversi ristoranti. Quartiere molto tranquillo. La colazione potrebbe migliorare nell'assortimento. Comunque da consigliare, se capiterà torneremo sicuramente.

- Victoria (10/5): Great stay, good location. - We arrived to a very warm welcome. Check in was also quick and easy. We arrived at our room which was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. We stayed 3 nights, it was a little over warm even with the heating off as we were on the second floor and the insulation was very good. I forgot to put the do not disturb sign on the door on our second morning and the very efficient room servicing team tried to come in at 08:30 whilst I was in the bathroom. I put the sign up that night and was not disturbed early again the day after. Great stay, very close to both the Erdinger and Augustina restaurants as well as the metro station. Great location and great breakfast too, we’ll be back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Im Bad Ablage Waschbecken nicht gereinigt Trinkglas nicht gespült, und Zimmerboden nicht sauber gemacht. Ansonsten alles ok.
- Evelyn (10/5): Freundlich, ruhig, gut angebunden - Ich habe nicht zum ersten Mal während der Messe in diesem Hotel gewohnt. Es liegt ideal, weil direkt an einer U-Bahn-Haltestelle. Um das Hotel herum sind gute Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel selbst ist blitzsauber, sehr freundlich geführt und - besonders im Hinterhaus - sehr ruhig. Wunderbar, um nach anstrengenden Tagen aufzutanken. Einziger Mini-Minuspunkt: Der Safe ist winzig und so weit hinten im Schrank versteckt, dass man eine Taschenlampe braucht.

- Daniele (8/5): - Da fuori la struttura sembra antiquata, ma poi all’interno il pensiero cambia. Ristrutturato da poco, si presenta molto elegante. Noi siamo stati alloggiati nella struttura dietro dove le camere sono molto grandi e confortevoli. Situato in periferia ma ad 1 minuto a piedi dalla metropolitana che porta direttamente in centro senza cambiare

- alicepshein (8/5): Good building - -The location is very comfortable to travel to the city center and back every day. -Breakfast is nice. The breakfast area is very nice and sunny in the morning, although it gets very crowded during popular hours because it's tiny. They have a system to allow you to move in during non-working hours, which was very helpful. -Unfortunately, the room we got was not what we've expected. It's all because they've mixed the photos of their rooms in room type description on the booking website. It's a trick, so be careful while booking, check the facilities listed in written, not by a photo. -Building and furniture are good, but cleaning of the room was under the question...

- MustafaEsitgen (8/5): Nice and clean - We chose this hotel because it is very close to the place we visit in Munich. It was clean and nice. The breakfast was fine. Internet was very well. The hotel had limited parking garage but it costed 20 EUR per day. It was allowed to park on the street in front of the hotel but it was very hard to find a place it the vicinity.
- Niko (8/5): Schoenes Hotel mit nettem Team - Hotel ist gut gelegen (U-Bahn, Supermarkt, Restaurants) und auf der Strasse gibt's kostenlose Parkplaetze. Zimmer ist recht geraeumig (fuer angegebene qm Zahl) und hat eine Kueche mit Kuehlschrank und Microwelle, was insbesondere fuer Reisende mit Kleinkindern sehr praktisch ist. Eine kleine Terasse gabs auch, dafuer fehlten Essecke und Couch, die auf den Bildern gezeigt wurden. Bad und Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Matrazen waren weich und unbequem. Statt des bestellten Kinderbetts bekamen wir ein Beistellbett. Zum Glueck hatten wir ein Reisebett dabei. Fruehstueck war gut und hat genug Abwechslung.
- DF (6/5): Very polite staff, Hotel needs improvements. - I was looking a hotel in a specific area in Munich and at that time it was the only one with available rooms for under 180 €. It cost me 90€. I wasn't expecting much but I was a bit disappointed. The first room I was given smelled like someone had smoked in there. Then I was shown to an other room. The room it self was fine and spacious. The shower wasn't thoroughly cleaned and the water was not that hot. The doors are not soundproofed at all, in result, you can hear everything that's going on in the corridor. I must point that both two receptionists I talk to were very professional, friendly and polite. That was a plus point.
- Brett (8/5): Nice small hotel near the subway - Slightly older hotel with actual keys for the door but still very nice and the staff was awesome. Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating. The hotel is in a nice residential neighborhood but situated right next to a subway station which made trips downtown quick and convenient
- Michael (10/5): Oktoberfest Jumping Point. - Stayed here during Oktoberfest. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, however one block from the U-Bahn (subway). Great staff and very helpful and rooms were excellent. Great overall value for the price. I will be staying here again. The only negative issue is parking. There is parking on the street as well as hotel provides underground parking for €12 euro/day but the turn to get down the ramp is rather tight, so if your not an experienced driver prepare for damage to your vehicle.
