• Sanam (1/5): bedbug found, photographed with location, manager didn't care - Allows dog. wifi The room smells like smoke, which could've been from people outside smoking and coming in. The bed is not comfortable. I just needed a space for a day that allowed a dog. I was awakened at 4 AM because the staff thought I was a previous person staying there. Understandable, but it was shortly after that I found a bedbug, took a picture, flushed it down, and stated this when I was checking out that morning. Staff told me to contact Nikki at hilltop hotel for compensation. When I called Nikki, I didn't give any of my personal information like room number. I told her about my experience finding a bedbug and that I flushed it down, and I took a photo that had location on it. She said something along the lines of, "People, post photos of bugs all the time on the reviews that aren't bedbugs or arent there" and "when they went into your room, they didn't find the bedbug" I didn't tell her in my room, and I flushed it. I requested some compensation for my one night stay and she said she wouldn't give it. I wanted to work with the hotel, but they didn't. This wasn't the only thing that bothered me, but the bedbugs was the main thing. I just wanted a place to stay away. A lot of the items inside the hotel like furniture are broken down or part of the shower rod was coming out of the tile in the bathroom. This part alone I give 5/10 which is generous. I'm not expecting luxury So here's my review and photo of the bedbug.
• Wathen (6/5): - The pond in the back was really nice the pool area could be really nice as well Needs many many repairs our room had water damage, a support post to the covered walkways had fallen and was being replaced, gym equipment is subpar at best and odd location!!! But with repairs could be nice especially the the the pool/pond area

• Mckala (4/5): Felt like a crack house - I didnt like much about it except they have a waffle maker for your breakfast They say indoor pool it is not, the rooms are absolutely bare minimal and when something was wrong with it? Good luck getting it looked at. The bath tub had what looked like rust, the shoeer heads needed a good cleaning because the nozzle sprayed half way. We booked a room for 2 people and had one towel one hand towel and one wash cloth were we supposed to share? The coffee pot didnt work until 15 minutes later like its delayed and wanted to make sure you actually wanted coffee. Honestly renting a room here made me feel like a dollar crack addict trying to get laid for another score. And the breakfast? Cereal, waffles, juice thats about it. Had a sign to warn you to wash the fruit but there was no fruit! Ha!
• Bentley (7/5): Great location with rooms that match the low rate. - Very close to the Clifty Falls state park which I appreciated. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well, and an Aldi and Walmart about 5 minutes away too. My inside door handle came off in my hand right after checking in, but maintenace was on-site and it was repaired in about 10 minutes. I wish the pool was operating year-round as well, considering it is covered.

• B (2/5): Not great - Pricing Its a place to stay but not much more.. no extra pillows or towels available at the time of request. Pool was shut down but no one knew why. The shower curtain rod was connected to the shower surround and it was broken off the wall on both sides. The property had heavy water damage along the bottom side of the balconies witch likely is holding mold within. While I was in the lobby at the front desk requesting more pillows there was another guest holding a pillow that had a bed bug on it. The staff wasnt bad but not very helpful. You can tell the owner just doesn't care about the place. It needs a major remodel. There was people in the parking lot drinking and being loud all through the night. Not very family friendly.. wouldn't recommend or go back. Personally would of rather slept in my truck for free.

• Mahoney (1/5): This place is horrible. - The hourly shift workers at the front desk were polite. My family and I had to leave during the middle of the night (1am) due to the housekeeping staff who picked up our room on Saturday brought bed bugs into our room. I am highly allergic and sensitive which caused me to wake up at 1am to hives from bed bug bites. The 3rd shift desk clerk who helped us check out informed us (with a printed invoice) that we would be credited back $100+ for the health issue. This credit never hit our bank account so I called the property again. This time a shift manager apologized for the inconvenience and said the general manager would issue our refund upon returning from vacation (10/13). I am writing this review on 10-16 where we still haven’t received our refund. I contacted the property again where I was informed the general manager inspected the room and didn’t see any bedbugs so they weren’t going to issue us a refund. DO NOT stay at this property. Aside from the bedbugs the room was very minimally maintained. A small mini fridge to fit 1 to go container. The microwave was not cleaned. The older style of ac unit worked funky. We would turn it off due to being too noisy but it would still kick back on within 3-5 minutes of us turning the unit off.

• Angelia (10/5): - My only complaint was the TV. It kept freezing up. Took us about 3 1/2 hours to watch a 2 hour movie. Get rid of the Vizio brand. The room was very large, the bed was really comfortable. The bathtub needs the stopper repaired but all in all it was a nice place to stay. Staff was very friendly.
