- Garcia (6/5): - The Blue Bay Inn is a quaint Hotel and very well situated with surrounding restaurants within walking distances. The rooms are spacious, but as well as the Hallways, they need updating. Their is a smell of mustiness as soon as you step out of the elevator to walk to your room. The bathrooms also need to be updated, and definitely better towels would be a plus. The staff is overall helpful, but didn’t seem to friendly. The Housekeeping was not up to par. Sometimes our bed was not made, or if it made it looked like a teenager did it in a hurry. It is all in the details.

Good restaurants and bars nearby including the excellent Copper Canyon.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful, modern, and clean boutique hotel in a great location (close to Route 36, Sandy Hook, and walking distance to coffee, bar and restaurant options). The price for the room was well worth it based on the amenities and having parking included in the nearby lot. The highlight of our stay was how genuinely kind and caring the all the staff seemed to be about making us comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

- Bob (6/5): - Located in a great shore town close to Sandy Hook beach. The room we were in 215 you weee not able to lower the air conditioner, manager looked at it and turned it off (90’ outside). We had to turn on and off all night. For $300 a night we expected better service. Other than that it was nice.

My only "complaint " is that my husband is 6'4 and the bed was short so a good portion of his leg hung off the bed. But the bed was quite comfortable to sleep on! We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Ate at their restaurant, Copper Canyon, walked down stairs outside our room, right into restaurant. - Verified traveler (10/5): Great Hotel - Blue Bay In is a great boutique hotel in the heart of the Atlantic Highlands. The rooms were spacious and clean, there was complimentary coffee in the lobby, and the staff was super helpful. We even received a small tour of the Atlantic Highlands area by staff member Mary Anne. There was no downside to our stay, would definitely stay again!

- Kathryn (10/5): - The hotel is uniquely quiet for being right in the middle of town. We were surrounded by great restaurants and an amazing diner on the corner. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful courtyard. The staff was very friendly and the bed very comfortable. We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend of our wedding and it was so nice to come back to our room after the reception!

Sadly, we were there on Sunday and Monday and while we throughly enjoyed the area on Sunday ( I highly recommended the Gastropub associated with the hotel) but on Monday almost everything in town is closed.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location. - The hardest Park was finding parking, but I called and the girl at the front desk helped me out quickly. We checked in and I asked about where to eat. She instructed me about some places in the local area within walking distance. The food was great. The only issue besides our tv not working (called the front desk) and the girl offered to come up and try to fix it, but we were already in bed so we declined. The bed was comfortable and temperature great. The plumbing in the place was super loud though. You could hear toilets and showers all night long. Otherwise it was relatively quiet. They had coffee, water, tea, and hot chocolate available in the lobby. I would stay here again.

Their front system seemed to be rebooting, making check-in take a little longer, but that wasn't much of a big deal. It was very clean, nice sized room (especially when compared to something you'd get in Manhattan). It's close to nice bars/restaurants and right down the street from the ferry.

It is easy to get around with local taxis and First Avenue has a lot of storefront offerings. The beds at the Inn are true "double" sized beds so tall people like us felt a little cramped but other than the small bed size the room was very clean and spacious. Inn is very quaint.
