• Scott (10/5): - Our family room was ideal with two single beds on the mezzanine level giving space and privacy. The property was in process of renovating and upgrading rooms one by one but ours was more than adequate and the kitchen facility and breakfast bar meant we didn’t have to balance plates on our laps!. The location was ideal with our granddaughter just a 5 minute walk away, and we explored the city on foot. Driving further afield was easy too. The staff were very welcoming and everything was very clean.

• Jill (6/5): - Good location and reasonably priced. Shower head was too low - at chest height for averaged height woman and was over a bath so difficult to climb into for older or non mobile people. The units upstairs were not easily accesible for older or less mobile people - would have liked option of ground floor. Cord for electric blanket on window side of double bed didn’t reach power point and one on other side of the bed was split - so no electric blanket to use. The host was nice - took time to show us around the room. The heater was very efficient. Nice touch to have the paper delivered each day.
• Lindsay (8/5): - The motel room was sizable. It was a little dated, but the facilities were very good. The studio in is suitable for a couple or smaller family, with its separate double bedroom, and full kitchen. It was economically priced and provided excellent value for money.

• Roger (4/5): - This motel has seen better days and is sorely in need of maintenance. Many fittings are worn and the property generally looks tired. There is black mould in the bathroom. I was told had scored an upgrade but it just meant I had 2 flights of stairs to get to room and another to get to the bedroom.

I arrived late in the day, so it would have been nice to have the door and windows closed earlier, as it made for a cool night. The shower was poor pressure, but I didn't get a chance to check this with the owner - there may have been an issue. Otherwise, comfortable, good sleeps, easy week!

• Donna (4/5): - Staff were fantastic but thats where anything good i have to say ends. Very dated property and im sure the stairs in the unit are unsafe. Not only are they narrow and oddly shaped they are very unstable feeling. Beds were uncomfortable, shower and kitchen had the basics however was damaged and dated, mold on the shower curtain and a poorly repaired light. Also no heating on fan in there. Not to mention the poor shower pressure. The owner seemed to have taken up quite a few parks in the limited car park.The list of cons definitely out weigh the pros. For the price point its very disappointing.

• MARLENE (10/5): - Although I arrived at the motel earlier than the check in time, they had a room available for me., even after the staff were all busy that morning after a huge number of guests were checking out.. On one occasion I couldn't open my room door but one of the staff immediately came to my rescue. Staff are fantastic.

The stairs itself was a scary flight of stairs (very vertical and as each step was different made it easy for the children to fall). But no one did, and overall it was easy access to town, happy place to stay, warm…. Would go back again …. Just maybe not that room with young children

The only thing was the room was in the third level and my elderly mum struggled to get up and down the stairs. I will request a lower room next time so partly my fault. We all loved the room, it was very clean although a few missing or odd bits around the room but still loved it!
