The hotel was gorgeous, the breakfast and dinner menu was excellent, the bird watching was incredible, the ability to tube down the creek was great. Our cabin was very comfortable and it even had a deck for bird watching and the coffee in the morning was great! 1000/10!

Anna (10/5): Simply stunning surroundings! - This place was stunning! You are right in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by beautiful flowers, birds and butterflies There are fire pits to sit around in the evening, the creek to swim in, and hiking trails to explore. You can also book to have a guide take you on a night hike to see what animals you might encounter. The room was beautifully made up, with fresh cut flowers decorating the bed. I had the best nights sleep, drifting off to the sounds of the jungle My stay was faaaar too short!

Harry (8/5): Beautiful basic cabana in jungle-like setting - Beautiful location, simple wooden Cabana’s in a jungle-like setting. Swimming and floating in the river. Some easy /short hike available. Decent restaurant and bar on site. The beds were a bit short (just 6 ft) and just to be aware : just a fan for cooling, no airco.

Nice to swim in the creek which emerges from the Blue Hole across the road. Staff was excellent and kind. Breakfast could be bigger.

Anna (9/5): Beautiful place, wonderful staff. - The place is absolutely stunning: located in the middle of the jungle, it is all built on wood and beautifully blends with the surroundings. The rooms are spacious and super comfy, with mosquito nets around the beds. The food was good and the staff is really nice. I forgot a hammock in the place and they sent it to me to another town. The staff are super nice. The food and drinks are a bit expensive, especially since you don't have much choice. The eating times are very narrow, which I understand because they don't have a lot of staff, but it might be a problem for some people. They have a river where you can go with tyres but the stretch is too short.
Carter (10/5): Nice Place to Disconnect - We wanted to disconnect a little and experience the rainforest and we could not have had a better place to stay. The cabana was beautiful, well unkept, and had everything we need. The staff was excellent and the food from the restaurant was more than we could eat. Tons of beautiful plants and birds, and the creek was a really nice place to relax and float.
Elspeth (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful property and grounds, you feel very immersed in nature here, and can hear howler's and bird life in about every direction. The creek below is great for a dip, and the inland blue whole is an easy 15min stroll down the road (costs 4usd per person to enter) for more swimming. Cabins are rustic but clean and tastefully decorated. As someone not used to the humidity I would have loved the option of AC, lots of fans in the cabin but they don't do much in 30 Celsius. A great experience nonetheless, and cool to hear coconuts falling on the roof and animals making noise throughout the night. Bug nets cover the beds, but bugs weren't an issue when we visited. Our kid actually had a great time with some other kids staying here catching fireflies after dinner. Which speaking of which; the food was amazing, but the staff were even better! They made the whole experience. Especially Yessica and Kenima who knew us by name and made our son feel included; showing him how to fold the napkins at dinner, pointing out cool wildlife, and offering to take him for a walk when he was at the end of his rope after a long day. It honestly felt like we were a part of the family. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again next time, just would probably opt for the room with AC :).
Lindsey (10/5): - This was one of the most unique experiences of my life! We came to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday! The property is incredible! You are in the thickest jungle- with a creek running through the property to cool off in. The rooms have only screens- no windows. So you hear every jungle sound at night, including the howler monkeys! The staff was beyond hospitable and kind. They remembered our names and were very accommodating to our needs. They serve you breakfast and dinner with a set menu, and were even able to take my gluten allergy it to consideration. They offered transportation from the airport, for a fee, that helped ease our concerns on getting all the way there safely. We would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for adventure and something out of the ordinary! 10 out of 10 stars!!

Not sure if it was the food there or another stomach bug we already had. But the staff couldn't have been nicer trying to take care of us.

Kerri (10/5): - Jaguar Creek was a beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay on our vacation! It was centrally located, so the drive to see other places around the country was reasonable. The inland blue hole cenote and cave system was within a mile, and tours could be easily scheduled. We had a lovely cabin that was intentionally cleaned and decorated with flower petals in the bathroom and on the queen bed with towel swans to welcome us. The staff was friendly and welcoming too! They gave us a tour around the property after our check in so we were comfortable and confident navigating our way around. The walkways were surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers and trees which maintained the feeling of walking through the rain forest, and there were a couple of outdoor fireplaces to enjoy the evenings after dinner. The restaurant staff were very attentive and professional and the food was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed each meal that was prepared and served to us. The food at the restaurant was the best we had on our holiday. The staff were also accommodating if you needed anything prepared differently. The river tubing was fun and refreshing. The water was clear and you can see fish swimming beneath you as you float along. A great way to cool off on those hot days! The deck overlooked the river and had loungers for relaxing after tubing. There were a lot of different kinds of birds and we could occasionally hear the howler monkeys! We definitely recommend staying here.
Julie (10/5): This was so delightful that we want to bring our friends and family with us next time. - Jaguar Creek was nestled in the jungle. I loved the boardwalk through the garden and the jungle in the background. My family enjoyed inner tubing down the jungle creek and we watched a few fireflies while sitting around the fire pit after dinner. The staff were super friendly and knew our names. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate our allergies. The location was fairly remote, so dining was limited.

Family friendly and great value with the onsite almost-zoo, horse riding, a - Grand older buildings with ornate details surrounding by lush jungle gardens, beautiful pool, exotic wildlife including a jaguar and scarlet Macaws, peacocks and parrots, fantastic art gallery and mayan artifact display. Very friendly staff and owners. Lovely horses and riding experience. Nice homestyle meals. Good value and a great experience Rooms would benefit from a little shampoo and drinking water.

During the walk thru, we were told not to hike because it was wet (???) but don't let it stop you, we did and it was a great hike. Staff initially was a bit mechanical, didn't seem to be too enthused to be there but it got better as time went on. The place could use a bit more of a local feel, ie local music in the dining area and outside around the firepit. Missed having a porch to sit outside. Room was great otherwise.

He was able to tell us lots about the area and we had some great conversations. Daisy the chef, cooked up the most wonderful meals for us. We can honestly say it was the tastiest food we have had since arriving in Belize! Swimming and floating around on tyres in the Creek was wonderful and refreshing. The outdoor chess set was also enjoyed. Our cabana was well equipped and very comfortable. It was clean and beautifully presented. Listening to the sounds of the outdoors all night was beautiful and we awoke to the sound of the monkeys. The whole experience was fantastic.

Hanging out in the creek was peaceful and refreshing. The blue hole was so close we walked back. The howler monkeys were so loud the first night, we thought yetis were right outside our door. Very memorable to say the least. Our room did not have air conditioning and the first night was hot because it was at the end of the dry season but the staff gave us an extra fan and we just stayed up a little later the next two nights. We adapted and I would not change anything.

Alison (10/5): - This property is why I love to travel. If you're coming to Belize, you should absolutely stay here at least a couple nights. The pictures don't do it justice - you feel like you're on an adventure while you're on site, and it's just a cool atmosphere and experience. A true jungle getaway, the cabins are simple but beautiful, with local art and very comfortable bedding and great water pressure in the shower. The property is stunning - surrounded by nature, with huge trees and palms and a great layout, including two different places to swim in the creek, a hiking area, dining room, and play area including an amazing large carved chess set. And then the staff - they are all so lovely and friendly and welcoming, using our names with care and really demonstrating what local hospitality can be. We ate breakfast and dinner on the property both nights/mornings of our stay, and the food was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The highlight of the trip was sitting on our back patio at night, looking up at the stars and listening to the jungle. 10 of 10 would recommend and will hopefully return here one day!

Georgios (8/5): A great place overall. - The location is in the middle of the forest. You can hear the nature all around you. It is magical. Also the facilities are great with attention to detail. The food that was served was not very exciting. Also the staff were polite but not very warm or engaging. It was like asking an introvert do a client facing role.
Sonia (10/5): - The plants, trees, birds, sounds of the creek, and all around beauty made this resort an amazing stay. You really do feel like you are one with nature here. Waking up to howler monkeys was an interesting start to the day. The food was great amd the staff was kind and helpful.
Lauren (10/5): Transformational. - Amazing jungle setting with beautiful grounds and super nice and helpful staff. Not buggy at all. I got fewer bug bites there than I did staying at an expensive hotel in Placencia. The labyrinth was super cool and just what I needed. Family friendly, with good solid food served at breakfast and dinner for a reasonable price. I want to come back with our family. Nothing.
Tilman (10/5): - Beautiful rooms and outside areas. In the morning and evenings there are hummingbirds all over the property. The staff was very helpful and even arranged for a drop off at the bus stop.
Daniel (10/5): A fantastic oasis in the jungle. - Meals were fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating and all seemed to love working there, always a good sign. Grounds showed signs of constant renewal.
Audrey (10/5): - The property is beautiful and the staff are very kind. Going to sleep with the sound of howler monkeys was an amazing experience. We also loved swimming in the beautiful creek. Only issue people might want to prepare for is the dining options. We were only offered one option for dinner and breakfast and the portions were very small. For some I’m sure it’s fine, but we were traveling with three teenage boys and they were still very hungry after dinner. Dinner also was $20/pp, which was our most expensive meal in Belize.
Randy (10/5): - Nestled in the cave tunnel region near St Herman’s Cave and the (interior) blue hole, Jaguar Creek, a non-profit regional supporting organization, is a birder/gardener paradise! Carlos, Ari and Evan will make sure you are well looked after including enjoying the outstanding meals in the restaurant above the water rapids of the stream.

Paula (10/5): The most beautiful hotel have every stayed in! - The property is actually more beautiful than in the pictures! The room feels like you are staying in a luxurious bungalow in the middle of the jungle. The staff was incredibly friendly. We hiked around on the trails provided by the hotel that go up into the jungle. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay at Jaguar Creek was!

The meals provided were delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice! Jaguar Creek also provides many activities to enjoy. Allow time to enjoy this property as well as the nearby adventures.

Karin (9/5): 360° view cabana and all is beautiful - The location is stunning. The cabanas are beautifully furniture and fully equipped with all needed amenities you can hike. There is a fun creek, caves and parks at walking distance. The staff organizes very easily all that is needed. The food is pricey for what you are served but the quality is very good and there is plenty Better accessible. If you have rented a car, I would definitely recommend it. We actually canceled another hotel in order to stay there another night I would suggest an approximately three nights stay to do all the activities around the area. Breakfast, lunch and dinners are properly served the qualities good and there is plenty but a little bit pricey

Maxsuel (10/5): It was perfect. - the staff was very welcoming to us. The reception was very informative and we did enjoy the quiet and the beauty of nature. The chef and staff were also nice to us . The bike trail was too small and we wanted to explore more. We would have liked to get informed before hand what all we could enjoy so as to reach earlier and enjoy the day even more.

Victoria (9/5): Beautiful forest location - A stunning location in the forest, surrounded by so many birds and the sound of howler monkeys at night. Close to St Herman's Cave, and with free bikes so you can cycle there. The cabana was beautiful, comfortable and clean, with everything you needed including a mosquito net around the bed. Carlos was a fabulous host, working all the hours to arrange tours, transport and mix a mean Pina colada. The meals are a little odd - fixed times, you have to register for them in advance and no options. However, they do cater to dietary requirements and meals are reasonably priced. Didn't appear to be any snacks available in between meal times. Some of the staff (waitress) did not provide the quality of service I would have expected. The laundry service was a disappointment - my clothes were returned in a screwed up ball in a bag, completely crumpled.

Rozemarijn (10/5): Amazing - Amazing location with beautifully decorated rooms. We did the little hike on the property and our daughter went down the river with the river tubes about 10 times. The grounds are lush and pretty with lots of platforms/areas to lounge. Great food at a very reasonable price. The restaurant staff was friendly but lacked a little bit of the personal attention and smiles you would expect in a property like this. We were only there for one night so maybe we just hit an off day. We still highly recommend this place and would go back!
David (9/5): Nice cabanas in the jungle! - Nice cabanas in the jungle. Very close to St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park. There are some hiking trails and tubing available on the property. Jaguar Creek combines the nature of the jungle and the amenities of a nice resort. Meals are served at fixed times.

I didn’t like that you eat food at certain times only with an hour block of time. the bar isn’t open all the time. bring something with you. if you’re hungry going to resort or leaving, you’ll be stopping at the same place each time. I could’ve done without that

Gemma (10/5): Paradise creek - We were welcomed so warmly by Carlo and Daryl. The grounds are stunning and the cabanas are so cute. Really comfy bed and sheets! Good shower/bathroom area. The food for dinner was so delicious and good value for us as we were on a budget. They also catered easily to my dietary needs. Access to free tubing was a great plus and so near to the national park. Only negative was no fridge to keep our own drinks cool but then that’s better for the environment and hotel fridges are often loud! We had a car and drove there (wasn’t a 4x4) the property offered shuttles though and free bikes to get to the national park. Would stay again and recommend to anyone!
Mindy (10/5): - My family and I had a wonderful time here. It was such a unique experience staying in the rain forest. My teenage daughters loved using the inner tubes and floating down the creek. We enjoyed the meals too. Our cave tubing / zip lining adventure was great.

Jeromy C. (10/5): - This property has very high quality customer service initiatives for Belize. They aim to please and take care of you. Our boys enjoyed the swimming and tubing available on-site, as well as the trails available on-site. They are happy to schedule tours for you as well, or you can borrow bikes to cross the street to St. Herman's National Park with Cave tubing and swimming in the Blue Hole. Great food and service, we were very impressed. One note though, these are rustic jungle lodges with eco-mind set, no AC, but provide mosquito netting for beds - we slept great, but each to their own. Only noise disruptions here are the howler monkeys!
