- Cassie (10/5): Beautiful lakeside location - The location is excellent. The inn is just across the road from the lake, and opting for a lake view room was definitely worth it, we could literally see it from the bed. The member of staff in the shop/office was lovely and very helpful. We arrived early and although we were too early to check-in they gave us a map and took the time to talk us through the best places to go and take a walk until the room was ready.

- MICHELLE (10/5): Cozy cabin by the lake - Stayed in a cabin across from the lake. Cabin was older but was super clean, had a fire place, our own little deck with chairs & was cozy. Stayed two nights. It’s across the street from The Salmon House Restaurant & close distance to ride bikes to Quinault Lodge for drinks & dinner! The WiFi was great so we could stream the Seahawk game! The store had everything you need. Easy check in & staff super friendly.

- DANIEL (4/5): - The $290 room looked shabby at best, tiny TV's with 4 channels with extremely poor reception. No WiFi the first night made info difficult, no cell service. Restaurant food was good, but cleanliness of dining area quite poor and strong mildew smell noted. Staff was very nice, rainforest was worthwhile seeing. Bathroom in room was clean, but toilet would have been great for a 3 year old. Couch was hard to get out of in living area, furniture low quality and battered.
- Ray (10/5): Great Lake view - We stayed in a cute, 60s-ish cabin with a great view of the lake and great access to some hiking trails. The little fire place was fun, especially on this chilly morning. It had everything we needed.

- CHI-HSIUNG (6/5): - The room had a strong cleaning agent smell, the AC fan was too noisy, and a lighting switch did not work. Compared with Olympic Lodge where I stayed the night before, Rain Forest Resort Village charged almost the same rate but provides a less comfortable room and no other facilities such as fitness center, swimming pool, lobby, and business center.

We were awakened at about 2 am because water coming from the ceiling was falling onto the bed. It was raining, and the roof was leaking. The bedding soon was very wet. We got little additional sleep and so we left very early that morning. I left a message through the website, as directed, to let them know what happened. I also left a note on the bed. I requested a refund, but have not had a response to my email. BTW, the email address on the receipt was invalid. Very overpriced.

- Pamela (10/5): - There is only 2 restaurants within a short distance. The one at the actual resort serves only dinner. The room needs a bit of TLC; the mini-frig froze our food, and both the window blind and the vertical blind are broken. The trap in the tub is completely separated. Please consider replacing the bed pillows. They're worn out. There are cobwebs in the corners. However, overall our stay was enjoyable and the staffis very friendly.

The front desk/store was wonderful. I really appreciated all of the locally handmade items available for purchase. Fabulous store! Lots of souvenir choices. Restaurant right across the street. Reasonably priced as well. I would stay here again. Location was perfect to trails and sights.

The carpet in our room was stained and scary dirty. The bathroom was clean but old and met bare minimum. There were cobwebs on windows and There was no refrigerator. I feel we totally overpaid for what we got.

- anna (10/5): Cozy and convenient - Great location by Quinault Lake. There is a general store, post office, and laundromat next door and a restaurant across the road. There is free coffee and tea from the general store for guests. We loved the huge window views from our living room. It was our favorite place. Turn on the heater by the window and you get a cozy viewing place.

- Joelle (8/5): - This property is like stepping into a time capsule....this comes with good & not so good things. Greeted at the reception by the most kind, helpful gentleman and gus adorable dog. The gift shop/ convience store is really wonderful and well stocked. Very unique gifts. The property itself is beautiful, charming and very walkable. The Salmon House restaurant on site was delicious food. We had a room in the 2 story main lodge which is the oldest area and it shows. While it was clean, it could certainly use some updating. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. The carpet desperately needs to be removed. The accommodations are basic but the setting is exquisite.

Room was fine, but could use a small frig and microwave as the store did not open until 9 am where micro and coffee were available. Building is well maintained for its age. Salmon House restaurant was very good with pleasant servers and stayed open conveniently until 9 pm.

I loved the trails behind the hotel and further down the street too. Room was clean with a great view of the lake. The staff at check in and each visit at the general store were friendly and accommodating. I will stay there again, maybe next time in one of the private cabins there or upstairs. Also loved the outdoor seating availability outside each room. Thank you!

The grounds are beautiful and there is a waterfall right up the road. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again. The room itself is outdated needs updating.

The shower/restroom needs an upgrade. The old style heater needs to be replaced in all rooms with new air conditioning units which can do both heating and cooling. Overall good for the price.

- Mark (10/5): Cute Cabin, Beautiful Location - Our cabin at Rain Forest Resort Village was the perfect spot for our overnight stay, on our weeklong exploration of Olympic National Park. Wish we had planned to stay several nights as it looked like a fun, family-friendly place for a longer vacation.

Maybe the lady didn't understand me. I didn't ask for a printed receipt and didn't realize the extra charge until later which was my mistake but adding $20 felt like she was trying to get more money out of me. Pretty disappointing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was nice and views were wonderful. It was relatively quiet and we had a good nights sleep

Great check-in included a map and advise on best areas to hit during the time we had there. Clean. It is dated and the walls are a little thin, but the location makes up for that. I have had no issues with excessive noise from neighbors on either stay. I would stay again.

The little store has always had everything we needed. The staff on the iffice, the store and the restaurant are always so helpful and friendly. And the clam chowder and the salmon dinners are to die for. We repeated those so many times, we didn't try anything else. But our friend got the steak and shrimp every time, so I bet it is good also.

The Quinault rainforest is basically all around you and the restaurant just across the street is both delicious and expensive. One thing to note if you are looking at reviews for information is that some parts of this property are actual small cabins, while another part is an motel with a front and back and 2 stories so people's experiences could differ based on where they were. We were in the motel, bottom level, facing the lake. The room was outdated. It was nice to have chairs to look out the window but they still need replacing. Outdated sometimes means no longer comfortable. Bed was comfortable! We REALLY missed not having a fridge. We knew this ahead of time but it was the only placed we stayed in 10 motel settings in a row that had NO fridge or fridge/freeze combo unit.

- Tamera (8/5): - We enjoyed our visit to Lake Quinault and Rain Forest Village. It was beautiful and serene. Our two room cabin was snug but worked for our family of four-it's a bit outdated but adds to the charm of the lake setting. The lodge just down the street is absolutely beautiful and fun to explore and get a drink or meal. The hikes in the area are abundant.

- Margge (8/5): - Beautiful lake and view. It was a great place to hike and finding the largest Sitka spruce in the rain forest was fun. The cabin was a bit dated but very adequate.
- Randy (8/5): - Lake view was wonderful, also nearby ancient tree and Rainforest enchanting hike. Restaurants were few in the southern part of Olympic National Park. This was ideal to relax and walk to eat.
- Laura (4/5): Outdated, Work Down Cabins - Very outdated, run down establishment on a beautiful lake. Bed was lumpy, linens were cheap and worn down. Everything is outdated and very used. WiFi is weak. We stayed here in a pinch. View is gorgeous and staff is very nice and helpful.

- Lance (10/5): - What a special spot! Lake Quinault is a special place. It was overcast and a little chilly, so didn’t get on the water. Our little cottage was perfect with a fireplace and lake view. Loved it!!! Next time we need to stay longer!
