The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The location was great as we could just walk across the street and be in the main part of the town to shop and eat at restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was deliious. The one thing I didn't like was their pillows. They were hard to sleep on. If you travel with your own pillow, it shouldn't be a problem. I think I'll start bringing my own pillow.

- Dreamer419455 (8/5): Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth is charming, but the front desk clerk, not so much! - PROS: our room on the 3rd floor was quiet. Room had an updated bathroom which had a "spa" shower. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a good way to start the day. Location was perfect for walking to the shops and restaurants in the village. Parking was good , but the hotel was not full so not sure if booked 100% if there would be enough parking spots. CONS: I told the front desk clerk that our room category had changed to $20 less than we paid and that there was a $25 lounge credit. He said he could not extend that to us & that was it, end of discussion! He also had a bit of a negative attitude towards me. Maybe he thought he was joking, but I found it to be bordering on rude. Maybe he was quitting his job there?

The breakfast was fairly good. Finding parking was very easy, either in front and around back. Tea and coffee were available as desired. Rooms were fairly clean. Central location was fantastic! Room was a little small but fine. For the price, the breakfast was lacking with the overall quality not being as expected.

It was very quiet. Their bar opens at 3 and they have great pub food. Chelsea was wonderful and we had great conversation with her. We really enjoyed their Manhattan and the Bavarian Nightcap. The Rueben Sliders were delicious. Our room was nice and they have great WIFI. The jacuzzi and pool were perfect. All of the staff was very friendly. Thanks for a great trip.

Wonderful stay, location, staff and ambience. Steven was especially helpful in making our reservation and insuring we got just the room we wanted! Each time we visit this hotel we are amazed at how well run it is. Highly recommend!!

Brice was very welcoming and helped us choose a movie for the evening. In reality, everything is much better, and we experienced even more delight than we expected. - L2587BQmarks (6/5): Address room noise issues etc - We always stay here when we come from Port Orchard once to sometimes twice a year. This time there was an annoying noise both days, not sure where it was coming from it was like a compressor and also another noise appeared to be coming from the heater we did not address this with the front desk. Also the pillow were terrible way to soft,I got a new one at the front desk also the same too soft. I used ear plugs to drown out the noise issues. Next time we will try a different room and one with a fireplace. I would like to get some sort of discount next time in compensation for these problems. We travel with my service dog and did not want to disrupt his routine going to another room this trip.

The room was spotless, and the mountain view was breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent, well-maintained, and served smoothly. The location was ideal, with parking being a major bonus! Considering what I received compared to what I paid, I felt like I was getting a steal.
- Hedgy (6/5): Let down by the breakfast - Location convenient and parking plentiful. Spacious bedroom, but a dated bathroom with shower in a bath tub. The room did not have a safe, or kettle to boil water for tea. Hot (but not boiling) water was available in the lobby. Milk was not offered in the lobby, only half and half. Breakfast was disappointing - think cheap US highway motel food rather than European hotel quality. The scrambled eggs contained pieces of mushrooms and meat, probably sausage. As the sausages were also available separately, it is puzzling that the scrambled eggs were not available without meat. The toasting bread was inferior - probably supermarket bread. For tea drinkers, there was no boiling water, only "hot" water from a flask. We would look elsewhere for accommodation next time.

Steven at the front desk, made sure we had the nicest room available since it was off-season. He was extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. The room had a cute fireplace, a wonderful king size bed, bathrobes for both of us. and they served a great breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend the Bavarian Lodge because of its location and the individualized service we got.

Right across the street from the main square, without actually being inside the main area, which is nice cause you can see all the action, but don't need to hear it if you want some peace. Nothing really. The lodge is older so if your expecting a 5* luxury hotel, this is not it. Its a cute hotel with lovely charm and appeal.

- txrouses (10/5): Anniversary Trip - We stay at Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth Washington while in town celebrating our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. Bavarian Lodge is our favorite place to stay in Leavenworth. The location to the downtown area can not be any better. Everything is very walkable to the lodge, including the park and trails down by the river. The entire property is extremely well kept. The bar and the staff there are a great. Breakfast is always good with the food choices being many. The entire staff including the front desk staff, housekeepers and the food and bar staff are very friendly and helpful. We will continue to stay at Bavarian Lodge on our visits to one of our favorite destinations in Washington State.

This was very misleading as you could barely see the mountain as the trees around the property covered it, but there was a great view of the pool right below the window (not a good thing) and you could hear all the noise from the pool.

- linpete55 (10/5): Best hotel in leavenworth - Bavarian Lodge is our favorite hotel in Leavenworth. Stephen and Curtis made check in a breeze. They were very friendly and personable. The rooms are always very clean and beds are very comfortable. We were there for 3 days, and Stephen was always helpful with recommandations for the town and also helped make dinner reservations at one of the restaurants. We had a city facing view and didn't find it noisy at all. We didn't have the best weather so we were able to enjoy Netflix in the room. Enjoyed talking to Stephen very much. He made our stay very pleasurable. We recommend this hotel as it is central to everything downtown, has a nice pub, and a very good breakfast. Thanks again to the friendly staff, and to Stephen and hopefully see you in summer as we are from Canada. Also enjoyed the homemade cookies at the front desk.

The bathroom had beautiful tile and river rock walls and the bedding was top notch, truly rivaling rooms in Fairmonts we’ve stayed at. Location relative to the shops and restaurants couldn’t be better. Lastly we interacted with three employees and they were all so nice and welcoming. Can’t wait to visit again.

- kevinhR8696KF (10/5): Great off season experience - Solid stay. The hotel certainly matched the town’s theme, down the the elevator doors. I brought my seven-year-old son there for his birthday. The fresh homemade and flavored water upon check-in was also a nice bonus. The hotel cannot be better located. Cross one street and you are right smack in the middle of town. The town itself is full of tchotchkes and Bavarian themed restaurants. If that’s not your thing, you can take a nature walk along a river. We got to see six deer within 10 feet of us. The hotel staff was really nice from front desk personnel all the way up to Matt who is the general manager. All positives no complaints. Thank you. -Kevin and Sage Homer
- melissarP2685EL (10/5): Above and beyond customer service - I booked three rooms through Bookings.com for a birthday family event. Other family members also booked directly with the hotel. Unfortunately when we checked in our booking was never forwarded to the hotel. Steven at the desk was able to book us for one night but not the second night. Fortunately we found other accommodation for the second night. The manager, Curtis was unbelievably helpful. He told me he would contact Booking.com and that I did not have to pay again for the room. He assured me he would straighten everything out and he did. After all the stress of no reservation I discovered I couldn’t open the bottle of wine I brought. Jeff the bartender came to the rescue and loaned us an opener. Even if the hotel was not the most beautifully decorated and comfortable, (but it is) the service of these fine staff members will have my business every time I stay in Leavenworth.

Clean rooms, amazing breafasts, great views from our room, friendly staff and the charming German touches all over the lodge makes it a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. This was our third visit here and will not be our last. We especially were "blown-away" with the hotel front desk staff, especially Lindsey. We wanted to stay another night but found that our class of room was already booked for the night. She continued to work (on her own initiative) to see if she could have us keep our room by moving the next folks to a complementary upgrade room. WIN WIN! Thank you Lindsey!

Leavenworth is a definite must! - We had been driving across the country from Nashville, TN, and heading to Lynden, WA...from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left we felt pampered! Loved the lobby, all the staff was outstanding--Steve checked us in--very warm and inviting personality--and offered all kinds of great information about the hotel and the "village"; our room had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the village; the bar area was quite comfortable; and our room--it was very clean and inviting and the deco there and in all the hotel was so inviting and quaint--the bed was quite comfortable; we even were able to choose a dvd from a wide variety of choices to play in our room (which was quite spacious); there were several options for lighting, and very little light filtered into the room during our sleep time; and breakfast!! REAL dinnerware--plates, forks, knives, spoons, glasses, mugs! Very inviting dining room for breakfast complete with tablecloths and centerpieces; and Gina and Carmen served the area with beautiful smiles and made everyone feel so comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this stay! absolutely nothing! Enjoyed it immensely!
- 805AmyF (10/5): Great location, great service! - The Bavarian Lodge was the perfect location for our 3 day trip to Leavenworth. The price was competitive with other locations in the area. A full breakfast is included every morning between 7-10am, it was great. Egg selection, potatoes, sausage or ham depending on the day, whole fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, bagels, waffles. Milk, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, granola, pkgs of honey, peanut butter, cream cheese and many other condiments. I'm a germ freak, and noticed that the awesome staff members wipe down the chafing dishes often. The whole dining area is neat and tidy. I heard the staff arrives at around 4am to start setting up for the buffet, greatly appreciated. The front desk delivered a lava cake and a sweet note for my birthday, it was a very nice touch. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Plus, right across from downtown. The staff at the Lodge was very helpful, we appreciated the service. Shout out to Steven and the ladies that worked breakfast. I'm sorry I forget their names. The Bavarian Lodge is right on Hwy 2, and we didn't hear a peep from the passing cars. We will definitely return. The beginning of March is a great time to visit Leavenworth.

In addition, he made sure my 3 year old grandson was entertained by bringing him something to color. The place was great- very clean, the pool was heated, and all the shops n restaurants were across the street.

Steven was extremely helpful. The location of the lodge is perfect because it is right across the street from downtown Leavenworth. We will definitely stay here again.

Great view of the rown that was decorated in Christmas lights. This is our fifth time staying here and we have never been disappointed! Staff is great and very friendly. Location is perfect!

- heathergA3887XQ (10/5): Bavarian Lodge is the best! - We've been staying at the Bavarian Lodge for over 10 years now and it's our absolute favorite! The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offers lots of yummy options that rotate daily giving some variety during your stay. The rooms have smart TVs, there are games and movies to borrow downstairs, and the pool (heated in the winter) and hot tubs (yes there are 2 hot tubs!) are the highlight of the trip every time for our son. Steven is often at the front desk when we check-in. He goes above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need and he's always willing to suggest a new restaurant to try. The hotel is right in the middle of town, providing quick and easy access to food, shops and wineries. If you haven't stayed at the Bavarian Lodge yet, we highly recommend you give it a try!
- susanwG6065JG (10/5): Fantastic time at the Bavarian Lodge! - We had a wonderful time at the Bavarian Lodge! The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are really charming, I loved the little fireplace. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. In particular, we met Steven on our last day and he was a real pleasure! I wish we would have met him on our first day; he gave us a bunch of restaurant recommendations that we will keep for our next visit. We will definitely be back again!
- JeffLB1986 (10/5): Great Stay at Bavarian Lodge - We had a great experience recently at Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth when we were in town for a wedding. It was cozy, convenient and comfortable. Our room included a balcony and a small gas fireplace. The hotel has a great location and a warm, woodsy atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful. In particular, Steven at the front desk helped me print out several documents and was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We highly recommend!

- mjshirk (10/5): Next time we will stay longer! - My husband and I spent 2 nights/3 days at the lovely Bavarian Lodge and loved every minute! The lodge is beautifully lit at this time of the year and the location is the best--right across the street from the Village. The Bavarian has great accommodations and the breakfast is wonderful. To top it off, Steve (at the front desk) had lots of good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The only downside--time passed much too quickly. Our next trip will have to be longer!

Plenty of parking available both in front and behind the building, which made things easy. The lodge is just a short walk to the village, and the staff were amazing.

Such a wonderful experience staying at the Bavarian Lodge! - I took a quick trip to Leavenworth with my granddaughters and stayed at Bavarian Lodge! It was amazing! From the moment I walked into the lobby I was so happy! Captured such a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and we had the best time! The hot buffet breakfast was great as well! Definitely going to stay there next time!
