- Andrew (10/5): A perfect stay in Sorrento. - Beautiful, quiet, and secluded. An oasis in busy Sorrento. Giuseppe and the team are wonderful. Be sure to do a cooking class with Angelo - brilliant.
- Peter (10/5): An absolute gem right in the heart of the old streets of Sorrento - Lovely family business with stunning garden and pool and possibility to do a fabulous cooking course with cousin chef Angelo. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer room and location southern end of Sorrento old town and beside the Cavern bar great for live music every night from 7pm. Nothing

- Kevin (10/5): Amazing place in the heart is Sorrento! Hidden gem and great people. - Great location and property was an oasis in the city Parking, but owners came and helped transport luggage.

- Leah (10/5): Relaxing stay in picturesque gardens! - What a peaceful beautiful stay. Was so quiet yet very close to centre of Sorrento and the family that run the stay are very welcoming and accomodating. Anything we needed help with, Giuseppe was there to help us. The property itself and the gardens are stunning and very relaxing. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time, we can’t wait to come back and will be recommending to all of our family and friends who visit! Nothing!
- Nora (10/5): Perfect getaway during a work trip. - This is a quaint small chalet inside a larger property. I would say it is perfect for 1 person or a couple. The attention was lovely, the chalet very clean, pretty and cozy. The bed is extremely comfortable and in the evening it is very quiet. The location is wonderful, away from the noise of the center but a quick 5-8 min walk to the center. Perfect for R&R. I will definitely be returning.
Alles prima. Nichts

- Yvonne (10/5): OUTSTANDING, beautiful and exceeding our expectations ♥️ - We stayed at Chalet Lidia Sorrento to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday — and to return to the place where we got engaged many years ago. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just as magical as we remembered.
The garden room itself is absolutely charming — looks brand new, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The peaceful garden and terrace were perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after exploring Sorrento or starting the day with a coffee. There’s a bar with games table, cooking classes available and breakfast if you wanted to book. I’d happily travel alone and stay here to just relax as such a perfect spot!
Giuseppe was the most wonderful host — outstanding communications, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made sure every detail of our stay was perfect and even helped us with local recommendations to make our celebration extra special.
The location couldn’t be better: quiet and private, yet just a short walk to Sorrento’s main attractions, restaurants, and the marina. The calm oasis in the evening is something else.
Returning to Sorrento and staying at Chalet Lidia made this milestone birthday unforgettable. We left with full hearts and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking of a perfect base.
We’ve been to sorrento around 7 times over the last 25 years and was truly one of the best experiences for all the hotels we’ve stayed in. Giuseppe kindly dropped us at the train station on the way home!!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️ We couldn’t stay longer 😢
- Colleen (10/5): - Perfect location off a quiet street just a short walk from the center of town. The property is beautiful with a ton of charm - lemon trees, olive trees, etc. The host, Giuseppe, was very responsive, accommodating and had great recommendations for exploring Sorrento. We opted in for breakfast two of our three mornings and highly recommend. We also took Angelo’s cooking class on the property and had so much fun. Highly recommend staying at Chalet Lidia if you want an authentic experience in Sorrento.

- Moni (10/5): Escape on the Coast - Stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was one of the best experiences we had. We had an easy check in and check out process. Got a walk thru of the property learned about the lemons and olives that grow on the property along with cooking class that is also held there. The host was very helpful and also checked if ferry was operating since there was a wind storm the night prior. Communication was clear and the room itself was clean and private. Location itself is central but quiet. There is an elevator lift that you can use to get up to property from the ferry’s to avoid lots of stairs. Will be staying again No negative everything was amazing

- Kelly (10/5): Honeymoon in heaven! - This was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in and a amazing choice for our honeymoon!
We spent two weeks here and from the moment we arrived we felt completely at ease. Giuseppe, Angelo, and their family were incredibly welcoming and always on hand to help with anything we needed.
Giuseppe went above and beyond—arranging private transfers, helping us plan day trips, and even carrying my VERY heavy suitcase without hesitation Haha. Angelo’s cooking class was another highlight; we tried more than one during our stay in Sorrento, but his was by far the best. The family tiramisu recipe was by far the best one ive ever tasted!!
The chalet itself is extremely beautiful, set in a quiet and peaceful spot yet only steps from the centre of Sorrento and all of its amazing restaurants. It was private and relaxing, but also very convenient for exploring. Breakfast each morning was fresh, varied, and always delicious.
Overall, the combination of the stunning setting, great location, and the genuine care from the family made our honeymoon truly special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Sorrento, and we will definitely be returning in the futuer!
(P.s they have a gorgeous resident dog who made our trip even more special as we were missing our furbaby so much) Not one single thing.
- Ruth (10/5): A little garden retreat in the heart of Sorrento - From start to finish our stay was amazing.
We were welcomed so warmly by Giuseppe and nothing was too much trouble. The attention to details throughout the stay and in the gardens was fabulous.
We can’t wait to come back
- Claire (10/5): - Very unique, quiet, personal and beautiful Nothing
Nada
- Paul (9/5): A little piece of paradise in a beautiful location.the gardens and property are maintained to a high standard - Our own space only minutes from the town center. Very quaint and kwirky place Nothing
- ANDREY (10/5): -
- Nazla Byuse (10/5): I wish I could stay there forever 😂 - What can I say… It was beyond amazing. The staff, the pool, the rooms, the garden, the food. We had the best time staying there. They were really really helpful that I cannot stress enough! Everywhere is so close. The garden is so quiet. Pool time was the best for us. They recommend a good local restaurant and made a reservation for us which was AMAZING! We will definitely come back to Chalet Lidia. I cannot even describe the greatness of this place. Thank you for everything!! Nothing!
- Suzi (10/5): Giuseppe was a truly wonderful host who looked after our every need and made our stay such a memorable one we are eager - Review
Chalet Lidia in Sorrento is a slice of heaven! Amazing accommodation located right in the heart of Sorrento within minutes from all the bars, restaurants and other amenities. Nearest beach at Marina Grande is also a short walk away with access to quieter beach, club as well as authentic fish restaurants and a variety of water sports including kayaking and SUP.
As Chalet Lidia has a walled garden it is a very tranquil location but also exceptionally beautiful as its gardens are full of lemon trees, hammocks, swings as well as a luxury pool area.
The room accommodation exceeded our expectations and we felt so comfortable and relaxed as it was perfect on every aspect from air-conditioning, shower, bed, fridge as well as Indoor and outdoor seating.
- Charlotte (9/5): - Calm little oasis in the middle of Sorrento. Tastefully decorated and a lovely host.
- Johnconnor (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this accommodation is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you arrive at the gates to the moment you leave. The accommodation is about an hours drive from Naples airport. When we arrived, we saw a very welcoming gate which was highly secured - we felt safe straight away! Giuseppe greeted us at the gates and took our bags to be safely secured until check in. We were given a cold, refreshing drink and we were able to get into the pool straight away! They have a bathroom where you’re able to freshen up and get changed, it was such a great touch. At the pool, we had cold drinks and snacks. The pool area and entire accommodation is just so clean and well kept. The family were so welcoming and smiley, and they are always maintaining the grounds - it’s immaculate! There aren’t any words for the beauty of the gardens or the hospitality of the family - everything was just perfect. The room was stunning - so clean and so modern, yet it still felt homely. We were so impressed. The location of the accommodation was second to none - you are so close to everything! But if you want some peace and quiet at the end of the day, it’s so nice to enjoy the gardens and pool at the accommodation. There is a cooking class offered every day which we unfortunately didn’t get time for this trip. We would love to do this in future! On the morning of check out, Giuseppe sent us a message to say that he has left us fresh, homemade croissants on our garden table. This was such a beautiful touch and the croissants were delicious!! You are always so looked after here and it’s guaranteed you will be happy for your stay. This accommodation exceeded our expectations overall and we will DEFINITELY return and recommend to family and friends! Thank you Giuseppe and family for a wonderful stay and a wonderful experience of Italy.
- Sue (10/5): Exceeded expectations. An incredibly beautiful location with hosts who go well above and beyond - Wow! Absolutely amazing! The photos and description just don’t do it justice at all! There are 3 completely private well-equipped & immaculately clean chalets, with their own private gardens with outdoor furniture, set within a large stunning oasis-like garden full of lemon trees and beautiful plants, secluded chairs, tables, hammocks & swing chairs. The pool area is lovely with a variety of plentiful chairs & sunbeds and enough shade if required. Angelo and Giuseppe were always on hand, providing drinks, lunch, putting sun brollies up, cheerful conversation, restaurant recommendations and were the perfect hosts. They also organised a full day Amalfi coast tour for us which was brilliant with just enough time in each town aswell as our airport transfers. They also kept our bags for us after checkout as we had a late flight home and we could use the facilities all day and then there was a lovely shower room with hairdryer etc to get changed in. So many little touches everywhere make this the most amazing location & only a few minutes walk to Marina Grande fishing village one way or Sorrento the other way. There’s even an outdoor socket & adaptor for charging your phone! The food at breakfast, just kept on coming and was all homemade, served beautifully overlooking the pool. We also did Angelo’s cookery class which was a wonderful experience & shouldn’t be missed. Everything was perfect and far exceeded our expectations. We didn’t want to leave
- David (10/5): Way above the normal services and care expected . - Location, staff, grounds. A special thanks to the the extraordinary help that was provided getting me to to the hospital and the hospitality to my girlfriend that staying at the property while I was being cared for at the hospital.
- Ivo (10/5): Great place family owned, very friendly and helpful people - Nice and peaceful garden
- Lin (10/5): Exceptional - Very good quiet location. Several minutes to the central by walking. Very friendly house owner to have us feel like to stay at our own home.
- David (10/5): Simply Exceptional - I wish I could give more than 10/10.
It is hard to convey with words how special this place is. It was beyond anything we imagined. We were at the end of our honeymoon after hopping around a few cities in Italy before landing in Sorrento to relax by the seaside for a few days.
The place is stunning; tranquil, peaceful, comfortable, and very well looked after. It's hard to not see and feel the family's dedication to create such an idyllic location.
Our hosts were wonderful long before we even showed up: helpful, warm and welcoming, and treated us like family. Giuseppe gave us some local advice for places to go - they go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need even before you arrive.
Breakfast (which is optional but you absolutely should take it) involved (among other things) home made items like pastries and fruits from the garden which grows various things like lemons, berries, oranges (you can smell the fruit trees!) and tomatoes.
We got to try the family's home made Limoncello too which is absolutely delicious. We didn't take the on-site cooking classes but we will next time and these seemed popular while we were there...we will certainly return.
The chalet itself was very comfortable, quiet, and spotless. On the edge of the town, it is a simple walk down to the small beautiful fishing marina with its restaurants and bars, and a short walk into town. Everything is within short reach.
The pool was gorgeous and we had it to ourselves sometimes but even when we didn't it was still a delightful place to relax.
A special thank you to Giuseppe and Angelo who looked after us so well. Giuseppe was helpful right until the end making sure our airport taxi was suitable and helping us to it with our bags on the morning of our departure.
We will never forget our stay at Chalet Lidia. Leaving 😂
- Fiona (10/5): A piece of heaven in the Garden of Eden - We can’t praise Chalet Lidia enough!! It truly blew all our other holidays out of the water. The care and attention they showed us made us feel like royalty, they couldn’t do enough for us, and we’ve come home feeling very spoilt and refreshed!
Set in the most gorgeous fragrant garden was pure heaven and all of the facilities 10/10! Giuseppe was amazing, so attentive and helped book all our tours and personally took us to the meet up points for them, he also suggested some great restaurants which didn’t disappoint!
Also, can’t recommend enough, joining Angelo on his cooking classes that are held there too, a very fun evening!
Thank you again!! Nothing to dislike!!
- Amir (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel at the heart of Sorrento. - Fantastic boutique hotel, located at a family property at the old part of Sorrento. Each room is a cabin. At the heart of the property lies a magnificent garden, with lemon trees and flowers. When I was there at the month of May, the scent of the flowers was amazing!
Giuseppe is a great host, and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant.
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect 😍 The grounds a slice of hidden paradise
Highly recommend cooking class
- Maithili (9/5): Incredible hospitality, clean rooms and super convenient location. - We had breakfast at the hotel only one day, but it was an incredible spread. We were expecting a quick bite, but they had fresh juice, fresh coffee, fresh meat and cheese, freshly baked goods. I keep saying fresh because that takes time and effort. They also were very accommodating and had the entire spread ready by 8am for our all-day trip! Everything was amazing. I thought the space in the room and bathroom was slightly tight, but that’s true for Europe generally. We also were carrying a lot of luggage so that may be on us.
- Daniel Salcedo (10/5): This place deserves more than a 10 - Incredible stay — every detail was perfect, from the warm welcome to the beautiful setting. I’ve stayed in many places, but this one truly stands out. I wish I could rate it higher!
- Janet (10/5): Best intimate resort in Sorrento - Chalet Lidia exceeded all my expectations. It is a family run resort and they truly make you feel like part of the family. The gardens were a peaceful sanctuary, so quiet and beautiful, and yet only minutes to walk to the historical district of Sorrento where there were too many great restaurants to count. Our breakfasts were amazingl. Homemade croissants, fresh squeezed orange juice, and wide variety of choices. The lemoncello was also housemade and the best we had on our two week stay. The family helped us with all our plans, directions, recommendations, and rides. We would definitely stay here again and recommend highly to friends. That we had to leave!
- Bonnie (10/5): An oasis in the middle of town, super comfortable with a lemon garden of your own! - Chalet Lidia is a secret oasis in the middle of busy beautiful Sorrento. The location is divine. Right off the bustling streets and into a well kept garden of trees and flowers with many seating areas. Our room was clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. The pool was inviting and one of us swam, but the weather was a bit too chilly. We found the location convenient to the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Pompei and super close to the beach, restaurants and town.
Considerate and knowledgeable Giuseppe served up a delicious breakfast in the morning and answered questions and made awesome suggestions. We enjoyed a cooking class on site, which we highly recommend. Fresh ingredients, gentle coaching and a magnificent meal at the end. It was entertaining and more fun than we expected.
- Vivek (10/5): This has to be one of the most welcoming and hospitable families we've ever met. They truly go above and beyond to m - This property is absolutely beautiful — a true oasis with a stunning garden filled with vibrant lemon and orange trees that are simply breathtaking. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully designed, while the kitchen is so charming it makes you want to cook... or just eat more!
Be sure to opt for their breakfast — it’s a generous spread of hearty, homemade delicacies that set the tone for a perfect day.
The location couldn’t be better — just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, water activities, local markets, and fantastic restaurants. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience.
- Richard (10/5): Best place we have stayed - Best place we have ever staged. Idéal location on edge of old Town and close the lovely old fishing harbour, with it’s restaurants and quay side bars perfect for sub set drinks. The gardens are an old citris farm full of lemon and orange trees. There are only 3 seperate rooms so it’s like having your own private garden. We did the Cooking class which was great fun. Nothing
- Lay (10/5): Highly recommend! This is a hidden gem in the city. - The property has a beautiful garden with lemon 🍋 trees, and it is very private for you have your own chalet for your rooms. I travelled solo and felt really safe in the neighbourhood and the property. Giuseppe is also a wonderful host, and very helpful to make my stay a very pleasant one! Everything is perfect.
- Zhaohui (10/5): Really really recommend it - Giuseppe is so so helpful throughout the stay. The room is amazing, clean and comfortable for two people to stay. The location is perfect, just next to a private car parking lot and only 10 mins’ walk to the centre. The homemade breakfast is also a highlight for this journey, definitely worth a try.
- Kyra (10/5): Amazing in Every Way - This was an absolutely fantastic stay. The property is beautiful (especially the garden), the room was spotless, and Giuseppe and his family went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, even booking restaurant reservations for us to make the trip go smoothly. They were very flexible when our arrival was slightly later than projected due to travel delays and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We’d recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento! Nothing - wonderful experience from start to finish.
- Gary (9/5): Wonderful property Giuseppe and Angelo are the pefect hosts - Beautiful property which is part of a former citrus orchard. Only two rooms on the property so it is private and secluded. Must be Sorrento's best kept secret. Nothing really
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Slice of paradise - Beautiful surroundings in garden setting with pool. Cookery school also on site. Giuseppe and family were wonderful and very helpful with local recommendations and booking trips. Ideal location for sorrento shops and restaurants, as well as the marina. Would also recommend booking a few breakfasts on site with homemade treats.
- Joeylloyd (10/5): Fantastic - Brilliant beautiful property and lovely family couldn’t be more helpful
- Philc (10/5): Fantastic, convenient, comfortable and very nicely done Chalet experience in Sorrento. - The Chalet is very cute and comfortable. The location is perfect. Its close to the historic district, the beach and downtown. The property is beautiful, safe and secure. And most of all the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. There was nothing that I didn't like.
- Isabella (10/5): Bliss - We stayed at Chalet Lidia for 5 nights and couldn’t be happier with the accommodation. Giuseppe and his family welcomed us and were so lovely throughout the entire stay, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Words cannot describe how beautiful the grounds are, with a great pool and areas for relaxation. I have never stayed on a more beautiful property. The Chalet itself was perfect and had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the bed was very comfortable. They have a cooking class as well, which is a must do! I wish I could rate this place an 11/10, as a 10 simply doesn’t do it justice. We will be back!
- Dansmith1511 (10/5): Great stay, hidden in Sorrento - Everything. Great hidden oasis in Sorrento. Giuseppe was a wonderful host. Nothing.
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect location and superb hosts - The hosts! Such a lovely family. Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful gardens and cosy chalet. Perfect location within walking distance of the main square. Really safe. Electric gates. Parking very close if you choose to drive. And you have to try the breakfast and home made croissants! They are so delicious Nothing!
- Cheryl (10/5): AMAZING! - Perfect location and the chalet was cosy and cleaned daily. Giuseppe and his family were warm and welcoming throughout our entire stay. The communication was superb - we cannot fault a single thing! The cooking class by Angelo was fantastic as well as his breakfasts. His own wine which they provide is lovely!
We didn’t want to leave!
If you are struggling to decide on accommodation in Sorrento then stop looking and book this one!! We loved everything!!
- Jakim (10/5): - The chalet is stunning. A quiet lemon grove in the heart of Sorrento gives you an experience I don’t think you can get anywhere else in the area. The photos do not do the property justice. The hosts could not have been more helpful and we loved every minute of our time here.
- Nicole (10/5): The perfect getaway with the most incredible hosts! Very authentic experience. - Chalet Lidia was an absolute DREAM! I will recommend it to anyone and everyone I know. The location is amazing, right in the middle of historic downtown, but feels secluded and tucked away. We felt like we were part of the family right when we got there. You open your own private gate to a gorgeoussss garden with lemon trees everywhere. Breakfast was made fresh for us, the pool was amazing, and the chalet was perfect!
Giuseppe was extremely helpful right from the start - he helped with our bags, walked us through a city map with recommendations, helped us book a beach day, and was just very accessible throughout our entire stay. Angelo taught our cooking class (HIGHLY recommend) and also gave us some great recommendations throughout our stay. Again, we felt like we were part of the family! The family made everything so easy for us, and we had the best time! Definitely the highlight of our Amalfi Coast trip. We seriously loved everything about our stay! No complaints!
- Don (10/5): Do not hesitate to reserve…It’s fantastic! - Suite Lidia is centrally located close to the Marina Grande swim club and to the beautiful center of Sorrento. It is literally a lush garden oasis with native lemon and olive trees. Upon entering the property through a charming arched doorway, you’re greeted by the heavenly scent of gardenias. When we first arrived our host, Giuseppe, greeted us outside the entrance and we immediately felt like treasured guests.
The lovely swimming pool has views of the cliffs in the distance.
The doorway of our suite opened to our own outdoor sitting area beneath lemon trees and flowers.
Each morning we were greeted with a beautifully set breakfast table. Breakfast included freshly baked Italian pastries, freshly layed eggs from the resident hens, a variety of Italian charcuterie, and espresso and teas.
Our hosts Giuseppe and Angelo catered to our every need which included finding excellent local wine for us to enjoy in our private sitting area, recommending some excellent restaurants and making our dinner reservations for us.
We have already recommended Suite Lidia to friends and plan to return soon. Absolutely nothing.

- Ella (10/5): Amazing and unique stay in the most beautiful Chalet and Garden in Sorrento ! - Chalet Lidia was perfect for our stay in Sorrento. Its is a beautiful chalet with everything you need and more. The host Giuseppe and his family were so helpful and kind, they ensured everything was perfect for our stay. Our welcoming check in with the family made us feel very at home. We had an amazing time and could not recommend this stay more. The swimming pool and beautiful garden is amazing!!! We had the best time and would love to come back! The family treated us with kindness and hospitality ! They checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect ! Thank you so much for a great stay ! Nothing
- Samuel (10/5): Enchanting and relaxing oasis in the city. - The family is so warm and welcoming! Giuseppe is a very polite and helpful host! Angelo taught us and cooked us a superb dinner! Loved the atmosphere, so relaxing and verdant garden, comfortable hammocks strung between lemon trees! Amazing 🤩 Hard to control the water temp in the shower. Sometimes noisy at night from neighboring properties.
Both of these are out of their control.
- Gerard (10/5): A quiet oasis right in the centre of Sorrento! - We loved everything about Chalet Lidia. It was a little sanctuary away from the hustle of the town but yet only minutes stroll away. The whole family were so welcoming and constantly checking in to see if they could do anything. The pool area was great, very clean and so relaxing. From arriving to leaving we were treated like royalty. Mama even made us pizza one night! Just an amazing family ❤️ Having to leave
- Kathryn (10/5): A secret garden in the middle of Sorrento - The breakfast was extra but well worth it. Homemade croissants tiramisu and orange juice from their garden! Nothing
- Edwards (10/5): We didn’t want to leave. It’s impossible to imagine a better place to stay in Sorrento. - Chalet Lidia is a hidden gem, a secret and tranquil garden full of flowers and birdsong in the centre of Sorrento. If you are fortunate enough to stay here you will be treated like friends of the family. Be prepared to extend your stay - you won’t want to leave. Nothing.
- Christopher (10/5): A stunning, immaculately manicured garden oasis in the middle of Sorrento. - This place is absolutely phenomenal. One of the most unique and incredible properties i have ever seen. It is a magical and peaceful garden oasis in the middle of Sorrento. The family that own and run it are so friendly and welcoming. You are treated as if you are relatives visiting from out of town. Stunning garden with multiple lemon trees, roses, flowers, sparkling pool and hammocks. Everything in town is a short walk away. They offer cooking classes and a yummy homemade breakfast. This place is almost surreal. I imagine it's often booked but if you can find it available it doesn't get better than this. Incredible. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
- Rizza (10/5): Definitely coming back next time - EVERYTHING.
- Carlin (10/5): Exceptional - Garden Oasis in the centre of Sorrento! We loved our stay here and wish we had more time to stay at the resort and enjoy the pool and lemon gardens more! Everything about this property was beautiful
- Darren (9/5): Guisseppe was a great host and the family was very respectful of our privacy. The location is a 10/10. - The gardens, privacy and family were all excellent parts of our stay and also the location close to everything
- Kimberly (10/5): Beyond exceptional! - The property is outstanding. A hidden gem in Sorrento. The family is so accommodating and helpful. I almost hate to recommend it for fear of it becoming too well known.
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast prepared by Angelo was excellent. Every day we had a beautifully prepared table with so many options. Breakfast was always ready on time and Angelo explained the daily pastry which was always delicious. There was always fresh fruit available. Every day was something new and different!
The grounds are beautifully kept. It’s like a little oasis inside the gates. Everyone on this property was helpful and courteous from our friendly greeting to Angelo carrying our bags to our taxi.
I can’t wait to return to this beautiful property.
Thank you for a perfect stay in Sorrento! ❤️
- Toni (9/5): Lovely and memorable, thank you. - It was a cozy cabin in a beautiful garden run by lovely people. I would give it a 10 but cabin life is t for everyone. It was perfect for us. We loved stepping away from busy pedestrian areas to a cozy getaway.
- Lesley (10/5): If you are lucky enough to find availability at Chalet Lidia, don't hesitate, book it up quickly! - The accommodation is in the centre of Sorrento accessed by a gate into a beautiful tranquil garden area, and very large chalet (suite). The suite had a huge bed, combined lounge and kitchen area, a walk through space with a wardrobe, and large bathroom. Outside we had a porch area to sit and have breakfast and relax. There is also a lovely pool for guests to enjoy. Guiseppi was the perfect host and provided valuable assistance to us throughout our stay. Guiseppi helped with our onward ferry booking to Naples and also drove us to the port on our last day at Chalet Lidia. In our opinion, there is nothing to improve at Chalet Lidia.
- Anonymous (10/5): Fantastic stay! Would recommend to everyone! - We couldn’t fault our stay! Everything was fantastic, the location is lovely and quiet, the grounds are beautiful. It was so nice to return after a busy day exploring and take a dip in the pool. Thank you for your hospitality, it was lovely to meet you all.
- Chris (9/5): Romantic - Friendly and welcoming. Very lovely family and a special property Maybe improve the shower
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - At Chalet Lidia, we truly felt like part of the family. They all did such a great job welcoming us and helping with whatever we needed. The location is perfect- close to town as well as the fishing village- but felt quiet and quaint inside the lemon groves. The pool was great for a day of relaxing. We did both the breakfasts and the cooking class and Angelo blew us away! Such a fun experience. Would stay here again and recommend this gorgeous place to anyone.
- Susan (9/5): Superb - Beautiful property and hosts both friendly + professional. The pool was very welcome, the chalet comfortable and the location was perfect for access to the town and the pretty little marina. Couple of visits to our chalet from the owners' over-friendly boxer (my partner is afraid of dogs) - although he was well trained. Some of the extra charges for e.g. cutlery in the chalet. And some noisy American tourists the first evening. But none of those things would deter us from staying here again!
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Great central location yet very secluded and peaceful. Lovely relaxing pool & traditional Sorrentino garden, plus the cookery lesson was exceptional!
- Elise (10/5): Wonderful - Set in a spectacular garden close to town, chalet Lidia was a piece of heaven in Sorrento. Nothing. I loved it.
- Kerry (10/5): Beautiful room, location and family. Thank you so much!! - Everything!! From the moment we arrived, Giuseppe & his family were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much and they made our stay really magical. The room was perfect; really comfortable and clean. The grounds are just beautiful, and a real paradise away from the busy streets of Sorrento. The pool area is perfect and the option to take part in a cooking school with Angelo was fantastic and great value for money. We opted for breakfast each morning and it was amazing, Giuseppe’s Mum makes the best cakes and croissants - we were spoilt!! They went above and beyond on the last evening as my partner asked if they could host a private meal for us, 4 amazing courses later (thank you Angelo) with Giuseppe’s grandfather’s wine, and a proposal from my partner, I couldn’t have asked for a better evening. They all knew what my partner had planned and made it so special. I can’t recommend Chalet Lidia enough and am so grateful we got to stay and meet such a gorgeous, lovely family too. Thank you!! Highly recommended for couples and safe and great fun for families. We’ll be taking our sons next time. If you want a once in a lifetime stay in a beautiful city, with a beautiful family then book this place, you will not regret it! Leaving. It truly was paradise!!
- Kelly (10/5): A must stay! - Our stay was well above expectations - the most gorgeous & peaceful property with the best hosts we’ve ever had! The authentic Sorrento gardens are absolutely incredible with pretty fairy-lights, lemon trees, plenty of lovely places to sit, the pool is beautiful. Gusippe is incredibly helpful, warm and friendly and went above and beyond during our stay. The whole family is very kind and helpful and provided great local knowledge. Breakfast was amazing. The service was great, with a daily room clean. The location is perfect, with a 5 min walk into the marina, port and town for plenty of restaurants and shops! Hope to stay back here again! Nothing - it was perfect
- Tenille (10/5): The best place to stay in Sorrento - The sweetest chalet with warm decor and a comfortable bed which is nestled in the corner of the garden. Truly feels like a little oasis. Located a short walk from the port and the centre of Sorrento, so a great base for doing day trips. Every single person we interacted with was lovely and so helpful. We booked the breakfast one morning which was a large spread, and we enjoyed chatting with the owner/staff (who made an incredible cappuccino - the best we had in Italy). On my birthday I even came back to the room to find they’d left a bunch of flowers picked from the garden and a note, which was such a lovely touch. We will absolutely stay here again when back in Sorrento. Genuinely lovely people running a beautiful accomodation.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - This place was way above our expectations. The whole area is like a little heaven, and the family make every effort to make every single part of your stay 100% perfect. The room was absolutely beautiful and the air conditioning was amazing. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and just wonderful. The gardens are also fantastic. This family are making a wonderful effort to make the stay an individual experience for everyone. We decided to join in with the cooking lesson which was also very well priced and absolutely a one of a kind experience. We met other travelers and honesrly they were jealous of how personal our stay was and how well located it is to experience the real local Sorrento. If this place is available and you are reading this you really should book this, you won't regret it.
- Dimitri (10/5): Excellent stay - Very kind and helpful host, excellent location, great property
- Willem (10/5): Next time, I will go back. - Very good and personal. Staff did everything for maximum comfort.

- Stacey (10/5): An absolute haven, beautiful pool, great location and amazing hosts! 11 out of 10!! - This place is incredible! We felt like we were in heaven! We had the pool completely to ourselves, cocktails delivered to the pool and the staff, all of them, couldn’t do enough for us! This is a definite place we will return to as one night was not enough! The location was fantastic too! Nothing at all - we loved everything!
- Miruna (10/5): A magic place - I don’t even have words to describe this beautiful chalet with it’s garden!
Was more that we have expected, from Giuseppe ( the host ) and his family, that made us feel more than welcomed, to the beautiful city that Sorrento is.
A stunning garden with a lot of lemon trees that all the family takes care of, a very nice pool where you can lay down all day and have some drinks from the bar, a very very good home made breakfast and a nice welcoming lemon water from the host.
We felt part of their family and the only regret was that our trip was to short.
But this is a fact that we will be back and 100% will choose again this chalet.
- Kerry (10/5): Incredible hospitality - Phenomenal location! An oasis of tranquility and beauty. The hosts were very welcoming and kind. They helped us with small and significant details. We were absolutely thrilled with this selection and highly recommend.
- Paul (10/5): Excellent accommodation and set in a perfect position to explore Sorrento. - Excellent accommodation and located in a perfect position to be able to walk everywhere. The host family we more than accommodating and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Giuseppe was excellent and Angelo was great with the cooking course we did at the property. A family run place, set on family property and we had fully access to all the family facilities, including the pool. Nothing - everything was perfect.
- Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (10/5): It’s a hidden gem! Perfect location and grounds were stunning for a traditional Italian treat. - it was family run and the grounds were stunning. perfect location and most things only a 5 min walk into the centre. Friendly host and we loved it. 100% recommend and we’ll be back again… Thank you Nothing… it was perfect!
