- Matthias (10/5): Kurzurlaub Zillertal - Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von der Chefin überaus herzlich empfangen. Auch das übrige Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, was man auch von dem wunderschönen großen Naturteich sagen kann. Beim Frühstück hat es auch an Nichts gefehlt, es gab für jeden Geschmack etwas. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und werden sicherlich wieder kommen.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly quite place close to everything - The Gästehaus Birkenhof was a fantastic choice for a place to stay in Mayrhofen and definitely one we would choose again. Incredibly near to the train station and downtown, but just on the edge of the area in a quiet field so that you have the peace and quiet visitors want in the Alps. The staff and family running the place were incredibly friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good, and everything about our room and the accommodations was wonderful (including the ping pong table!) The benefit of free pool and tennis court access was useful as well. We would definitely recommend the Gästehaus Birkenhof and look forward to staying here again!

Good, though not excellent location very close to the railway station, between road and railway, but with decent plot of land including playground. Comfotable walking distance to main street and lifts. Definitely a bargain if you’re headed for Mayrhofen and Zillertal!

Didnt appreciate non supply of soap in bathroom, this is expected at any homestay, guesthouse, or pension weve experienced before. We expected to have an opportunity for a hot drink in room or lounge area in evening, usually provided when staying with families. These two little things spoilt our experience somewhat.

Also walking distance to the town and parking if driving. We skiing every year and must say we all said we would book here again. If i was too try find some fault, there are no shower gel or shampoo (but plenty shops that sell resonable) so I would count this as bad. Lovely and very helpful family. I would recommend to stay here.

- Kristie (10/5): Great location and very helpful hosts - Location was perfect next to train station though don't worry can't hear the trains. Hosts were excellent, great local knowledge and very helpful. We travelled with a 4 month old and a 4 year old and room was plenty big enough. Very helpful and responsive to emails when trying to arrange things for the baby. Also helped speak to the airport regarding our missing pram. Host does an amazing job even with 3 young children off on school holidays.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Komfortables Hotel mit super Skibus/ÖPNV Anbindung - Sehr freundlich und unkomplizierter Aufenthalt. Alles hat gepasst und die Zimmerausstattung war modern und sehr geräumig. Service wurde groß geschrieben, so wurde uns z.B. heißes Wasser für den Camelbak ohne zu zögern bereitgestellt. Das Zimmer wurde außerdem jeden Tag gereinigt. Der Skiraum im Keller ist mit einer speziellen Heizung zum Trocknen von Snowboardboots/Skistiefel und Handschuhe ausgestattet. Alle Sachen waren somit am Morgen wieder trocken. Der Skibus fährt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt vom Bahnhof zu allen Skigebieten in der Umgebung.
- Agneta (8/5): Ett mysigt familjehotell med många fördelar. - Hotell Birkenhof är ett mysigt hotell med bra läge. Fem minuter till tågstation och tio minuter in till Meierhofen. Personalen var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående. Rummen var perfekta. Frukosten på bottenvåningen var mysig och man kunde själv önska, inom rimliga gränser, om det var något man saknade. Jag och min man hade en underbar vistelse här och kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell. Utanför huset fanns en vandringsled på 12 km.
