• Myung Hwa (10/5): Goditi il fascino autentico di Riad - La struttura è trova in una posizione comoda. Lo staff è fantastico, specialmente Hakim (gestore del Riad) è super disponibile per ogni cosa e molto accogliente. Ti mostra la città con l'aiuto di una mappa, ti indica i luoghi da non perdere e ti consiglia ristoranti e hammam.

• la scala (6/5): Bello ma migliorare - Lo staff e in particolare Akim sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili. Il primo giorno al check in ci ha spiegato come raggiungere tutte le migliori attrazioni della città. Un plus è la piscina molto carina per rinfrescarsi. La struttura è un Riad storico ma alcune parti le ho trovate trasandate, tra cui la stanza dove erano presenti macchie di umidità sul muro. Inoltre nella stanza si sentiva una puzza costante molto forte che non si capiva da dove provenisse, anche durante la notte.

• Chari (6/5): Prijs kwaliteit. Rustig en heel netjes. Ideaal voor 1-2 nachten. - We hadden een taxichauffeur geregeld via de accommodatie en dat was handig. Hij zette ons af op de dichtstbijzijnde plaats die mogelijk was met de auto. Daar stond er iemand ons op te wachten om ons te begeleiden naar de riad. De dag erna kwam de eigenaar langs eb heeft hij ons heel veel geholpen met welke navigatie app we het beste gebruiken en alle bezienswaardigheden gepind op de app. Ook heeft hij verteld waar we het beste geld kunnen afhalen. Dat je het uur van je ontbijt niet kon kiezen. Ons ontbijt was om 8u30. Dat vonden we vroeg aangezien we maar ‘s nachts waren aangekomen. Het ontbijt was heel basic en ik miste wat fruit. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd aan je kamer.

• Sonja (8/5): Super für einen kurzen Aufenthalt! - Super gelegene Unterkunft mit schöner Dachterasse und gepflegten Pool. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Der Manager Hakim hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Das Zimmer war etwas spartanisch eingerichtet. Es gab keine Kleiderhaken im Zimmer oder Badezimmer. Nur eine Kleiderstange mit zwei Bügeln. Ebenso waren die Steckdosen etwas rar. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche sowie die Temperaturrregelung ließen sich etwas zu wünschen übrig. Da wir nur zwei Nächte da waren konnte man gut drüber hinwegsehen.

• Liv (10/5): En oas mitt i Marrakesh - Det var mycket välkomnande, väldigt vackert inredning, välstädat och samtidigt centralt. Frukosten var underbar och fint att sitta bland de blommande apelsinträden. Det var lite svårt att hitta dit. Vi blev visade till fel ställe först. Men efter att ha frågat ett par gånger gick det. Jag borde ha tagit en väska som var lättare att bära, eller tagit hjälp av en kille med vagn att köra den genom de trånga gränderna.

Estaba muy limpio y céntrico, el desayuno también bien. Nos acordaron taxi desde el aeropuerto, muy agradecidos. La ducha de mi habitación, no se podía regular el agua caliente, o salía muy fría o muy caliente. Además, la taza estaba prácticamente debajo de la ducha y se quedaba todo mojado.

Wir sind extrem dankbar, dass wir solch wertvolle Tipps vom Hakim bekamen. Ob Hammam, Restaurant oder Taxi, Hakim weiss Bescheid (besser als Tripadviser lol). Danke für alles!

• Csaba (10/5): Nagyon segítőkész és figyelmes szállásadó, aki mindenben segített és külön figyelt ránk. - 22:00 körül érkeztünk a szállásra, de Hakim ennek ellenére nagyon kedvesen fogadott minket, és mindent megmutatott az épületben. Sok hasznos tanácsot adott (offline térkép, látnivalók, érdekességek, mire érdemes figyelni). Az utolsó reggelen nagyon korán indultunk egy sivatagi túrára, ezért nem tudtuk igénybe venni a reggelit, mégis készítettek nekünk útravaló csomagot, ami nagyon kedves gesztus volt. A túra szervezőjével való kommunikációban is segített. Nagyon segítőkész szállásadó – csak ajánlani tudjuk!

A special thanks to Hakim, who was always helpful, gave us great tips, and made our stay even more enjoyable. The riad has a lovely atmosphere. The courtyard with plants is beautiful, and the pool area looks amazing. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t warm enough for swimming during our stay. I stayed with a friend and we didn’t spend much time in the riad during the day, but it was a nice and comfortable place to come back to in the evening and relax. The room was quite small but cozy, and the air conditioner worked well for heating, so it warmed up quickly. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property. The location is very convenient, right in the medina, with most attractions within walking distance. To reach the riad you need to walk through the market area every time. It’s interesting at first, but after a few days it can become a bit tiring. Another small difficulty was finding the entrance for the first time. The door is quite discreet, with only a small sign above it that is easy to miss. Luckily, staff from a nearby restaurant helped point us in the right direction. The breakfast was quite simple and repetitive: coffee, eggs, bread, a couple of types of flatbread, butter and jam. Freshly squeezed orange juice was served every day, which was great. However, we were surprised that there were no fruits or vegetables offered, especially in a country where fresh fruit and vegetables are so widely available. There was also some construction nearby, and we could hear noise behind the wall. It seemed like a temporary issue though. The bathroom door in our room didn’t close properly, and the handle was loose.

• Martin (10/5): The experience of a lifetime, not to be missed! - Good Moroccan breakfast. Great environment in the building, it felt like living in a palatial mansion complete with the owners books, games, classical music collection and superbly furnished with antique furnishings. The fireplaces and ceilings were of the the best craftsmanship and very old. The sitting room, library and roof terrace were the highlights. The pool was very beautiful set in a shaded place, a bit cold in February but would be perfect on a hot day. Hakim is the most friendly and helpful host. He talked us through the best places to visit and marked them on our gps map The bedroom was long and thin but had lovely paintings to compensate

• AK (9/5): A beautiful historic riad in a quiet location within the medina - Helpful staff, especially Hakim, who gave us a good introduction to the medina using both a paper map and Maps.me. The riad itself is beautiful, with many antiques and a historic feel. The room was simply decorated and functional. Breakfast in the central courtyard of the riad was lovely. The airport pick-up was smooth, and using the shuttle was a good choice as the riad is in the medina where cars cannot access all streets. The driver waited patiently for our delayed flight, and Hakim met us nearby and helped transport our luggage to the riad. It would be difficult to find the location on our own as a first-time visitor. At night it felt a little cool even with the AC on, and we needed to set it quite high (28c) and that makes it a bit noisy at times. Breakfast was the same during our stay and could be improved with some vegetables like cucumber and tomatoes, as well as seasonal local fruit such as tangerines. As with many riads, the rooms are not soundproof, but the atmosphere was quiet and we still slept well.
• Pilar (7/5): Normal normal - El Riad se encuentra muy bien situado, apenas 10 minutos de la plaza Jema Está descuidado, nuestra habitación tenía goteras ( y algún comentario anterior ya lo indicaba). Lo cual quiere decir que no se arregló. El dormitorio era bastante amplio. Necesita una reforma ya El personal apenas cruzamos palabras con ellos. Hakim nos dio la bienvenida y no volvió a verse por allí. En la zona de desayuno mucho frío al desayunar aunque en verano probablemente se esté de escándalo.

• Trixie (9/5): An authentic and peaceful riad in the heart of the medina. - A beautiful and authentic riad steps away from Ben Youssef Madrasa. We loved being in the medina and walking distance from all the sights we wished to see, yet far enough away from the bustle to enjoy a peaceful stay. Hakim and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The wifi worked great for some remote work (video calls, emails, uploading small files and video files).
• Irene (10/5): Hakim e il suo Riad ti ospiteranno con attenzione e riguardo, ottimo! - Bello il giardino centrale, con uno splendido arancio verde e carico di frutti non ancora maturi, e la piscina al piano superiore più “appartata” dal resto del Riad. Ampio terrazzo con vista sulla città. La magia del Riad che ti permette di arrivare alla stanza da due modi differenti. Non riesco a capire come sia possibile che tutte le pareti, i soffitti e gli angoli più remoti riescano ad essere così puliti e bianchi! Un bianco che contrasta perfettamente con il legno scuro di porte e finestre, mi piace molto. Hakim é un ospitante gentile e onnipresente, sempre pronto ad aiutare e rendere il tuo soggiorno più facile, lì per aiutarti con la mappa della città e segnarti i luoghi più importanti da visitare, oltre che consigliarti ristoranti e Hammam.
• Oriana (8/5): Brilliant staff, simple but quaint Riad - The staff are brilliant and friendly. Hakim is very helpful and the staff went above and beyond to make my partner’s birthday a special day. Location is very central, a lot of sights and the souks are between 5-30 min walk from the Riad. The stay was great value for money. The floor can get very wet in the bathroom as the showers are open. For women I would say bring a little compact mirror/light as there is only a mirror in the bathroom and if you’re small & near sighted like me, it can be difficult to do your makeup in that lighting. Also bring a mini shampoo and conditioner as they are not provided. Breakfast is simple (one egg, morrocan crepes, coffee & orange juice) and the same every morning. If you partner is above 6’, you may need to ask for a bigger bed!

• Taras (10/5): Однозначно говорю "да" данному месту!!! Очень классно! - Риад супер! Проживали трое суток. Жили в разных риадах, но в этом мне было комфортнее и уютнее, чем в других. Менеджер отеля чудесный человек, открытый, понимающий, помогает во всём. Скачали с ним карту, по которой лучше всего ориентироваться в медине Марракеша, отметил он основные пункты для посещения. Оплата картой возможна, что и сделали. Внутренняя территория отеля достаточно большая и очень красивая с древними стенами, которым более 300 лет. Расположен риад тоже удачно, по гугл картам нашли сразу. Завтраки стандартные. Кровати удобные. По соседству рестик, где можно выпить вина местного, но дорого)) До бассейна так и не добрались, хоть он и есть. Очень рекомендую данный риад! Проблема с количеством розеток в комнатах - их мало и не всегда около коовати. Но это у всех здесь так)))

Hakim made great recommendations even meeting us on arrival in the taxi and guiding us to the Riad . It’s a traditional Riad so very old but it does need a little tlc - our bathroom leaked and some of the furniture needs a refurb. However, we wanted a traditional Riad & that’s what we got , it would not deter us from staying again,

Nothing I really didn't like. Just dont expect 5 star luxury. It is an authentic experience for being in the medina. Shower is a bit weak and shampoo isn't the nicest.

Llegamos a Marrakech por la noche, y nos resultó un poco complicado encontrarlo, está en un callejón.

• Angelique (8/5): We hebben genoten! - De plek is perfect, heerlijk rustig maar toch midden in de medina. De ontvangst was hartelijk (met veel informatie van Hakim!) en het gebouw is prachtig. De kamer was basic, maar prima! Zwembad is heerlijk na een warme dag in de stad. Wij hadden de kamer op de eerste etage met de erker. Twee minpuntjes, maar niet onbelangrijk. De douche was niet best. Je kunt de douchekop niet ophangen, want past niet in het haakje. Verder zat er een barst in de douchekop waardoor het water meer vooruit dan omlaag spoot. Dus de douche is alleen als handdouche te gebruiken. Verder was het lastig om in en uit bed te gaan omdat het bed precies tussen twee muren staat. Bed en bad zijn erg belangrijk in een hotel, en in dit geval is zeker het probleem met de douche makkelijk op te lossen.

• Carrie (10/5): Clean, comfortable, authentic and friendly stay in a gorgeous riad. - This was a gem in Marrakech! The location was ideal, in the medina but slightly away from all the hustle. The staff was delightful and helped with every question, offered recommendations and suggestions. The pool was a treat in the summer heat, breakfast was delicious, and the bed was very comfortable. I’d highly recommend it!!

• Silke (9/5): Overall, my stay was wonderful — a welcoming, authentic riad with great hospitality, despite a few small areas for impro - I loved everything about this riad. The accommodation was exceptional, and the host Hakim and the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I had to leave another place earlier than planned due to some issues, and they kindly arranged for me to check in a night earlier without any problem. As a solo traveller, I felt very supported — Hakim and his team were so friendly and attentive, helping me get my bearings in the city. The riad itself is beautifully run, right in the heart of the medina, within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and great restaurants. The pool was a real highlight — quiet, refreshing, and perfect for the hot weather. The whole place has an authentic and elegant style that made my stay both comfortable and memorable. At the moment, there are some construction works next to the riad, which unfortunately create noise and a lot of dust. As the city is already quite dry, this can feel a little uncomfortable at times. The riad itself could also benefit from some minor decorating updates. For breakfast, I would have appreciated a bit more variety — some fresh fruit, tea as an alternative to coffee, and perhaps different styles of eggs.

• Jonathan (9/5): Great location and fantastic value for money - Great location, however it is not accesible by car. But you will not be drop off far from the property. The location is excellent and the room was good. A bit small, but absolutely fine. The breafast is good, and the owner is excepcional. Lots of tips on what to do and what not to do. It is worth the stay just because of him. He made my staying in Morocco a lot better.
• ELOY (10/5): El servei i la tranquilitat són el seu punt fort. - El lloc ens ha agradat molt ja que es tracta d'un Riad de estil clàssic i, a més, amb una petita piscina 24/7. Ens ha agradat especialment pel servei, que ha sigut impecable. No han dubtat em oferir-nos tota l'ajuda possible, des de mapa, a recomenacions per dinar o sopar, a rutes i tot tipus de necessitats que tinguessim. També hem de valorar molt la tranquilitat i la flexibilitat horaria que ens permetiem. A més, la seva situació era ideal per trobar-se just a l'entrada del Zoco per la seva part nord, a prop de la Medara Ben Youssef. Els esmorçats no erem massa variats i el pà tipic el serviem sempre fred. Però el cafè era bó i ens serviem suc de taronja recent exprimit. De totes manees eren puntuals al servei i molt amables i atents.
• Dara (10/5): Simply the best choice of riad I made throughout my whole 2 weeks stay in Morocco. - Riad Ben Youssef is truly a jewel in Marrakesh ! You could hardly find a better place for such a good price. The place offers a perfectly calm atmosphere in an authentically decorated riad with a pool (you should not underestimate how amazing this is in the hot afternoons of Marrakesh), a peaceful inner courtyard, a rooftop, library, and plenty of other common spaces to chill in. The rooms themselves are incredible, clean, beautiful wooden ceiling, a beautiful bathroom with green tiles, a very confortable bed - rare for riads. Our room had a direct access to the rooftop which is amazing for lighting and to reach the pool directly through the spiral metal ladder. The staff is composed by the kindest people - Hakim, Merwan, and the two kind ladies who I regret not catching the name of. Everyone is very available and helpful. We were lucky to meet the owner, Bernard, who is extremely hospitable and open to talk to, who really embraces the charm of Marrakesh into his property. The location is perfect - in a calm little street near the Medersa and Ben Youssef Mosque. Very central - near the souk. To sum up this Riad is providing the luxurious experience of peace in a big beautiful riad. We stayed in other riads in Marrakesh which were more expensive and nowhere near how good Ben Youssef was. Could not recommend it more ! Nothing negative to say.
• Wynn (10/5): Magical riad high recommend! - The riad is magical. Historic and spacious. The pool is breathtaking as is the courtyard. My room was the perfect size for me. And of course the furnishings were all beautiful. Plus the staff took great care of me. The only thing to be aware of is that this is a historic property so you’ll be walking up steps rather than take an elevator, the doors and windows are older. But truly, nothing to complain about!
• Michal (10/5): Stunning Riad - This is a stunning riad in a great location. If you take a taxi, you will only have to walk a couple of blocks, which is a great plus. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It felt like an oasis in a very busy city. Thank you for a great stay.
• Taariq (9/5): a beautiful traditional riad, conveniently located and managed by helpful people - Everything was nice. The location was convenient only a 10-15 minute walk to Jemaa El Fna. The Riad was beautiful and the room was lovely. Breakfast was nice too! Hakim and Marwan ensured we had a pleasant stay and helped to provide a printout of our boarding passes, an airport taxi and they answered any questions we had. Nothing, everything was great. It is situated in the Medina which can be difficult to navigate to at first but Google Maps did the trick for us.

• Thomas (9/5): Magical. - The Riad is genuinely a little Oasis in the middle of a very busy and bustling old town. As soon as you walk through the front door, the sound, the hustle and bustle of the Medina literally just disappears and you're surrounded by wonderful architecture, cool quiet hallways and staff that would do anything for you. Hakim, the manager, was as perfect and friendly a host that anyone could ask for and nothing was too much trouble for him and his staff. If you want to stay in the Medina, stay here. Its cool, clean and welcoming, with many little nooks and spaces for you to just hang out enjoy some culture or alone time. It can be a little difficult to find, at first.

• Ciara (9/5): Gorgeous Riad - The riad was stunning. Very clean and the comfiest bed! We had a balcony which was lovely looking out into the courtyard. The breakfast was good too. We were happy with everything. We organised collection to and fro. The airpirt, the staff went above and beyond. Our room was lovely, the riad is gorgeous. Perfect location.
• Valérie Marie Jeanne (6/5): - Le riad est bien situé... A part la piscine qui est magnifique mais froide le riad n'est pas exceptionnel. Il est très humide.. le plâtre s effriter de partout. Il fait super froid dans la chambre... et c'est très bruyant... impossible de se reposer il y a tout le temps du bruits et pas celui de la médina. Il y avait quelqu'un qui ronflait dans le riad et je l entendais jusque dans ma chambre.. petit déjeuner bon même si je n'ai pu le prendre qu une fois.. c'est a partir de 8h mais pas possible a 8h mon fils est parti le ventre vide en excursion.. accueil ben on en a pas eu... bof

The breakfast was substantial and served in the beautiful courtyard. The room was cleaned every day and the WiFi was very good. I would highly recommend this Riad and would definitely use it again when I visit Marrakesh

• Midori (10/5): I hope I can stay in this hotel again one day - The host, Hakim, was very kind and professional. He welcomed me warmly, providing me with all the infomation I needed. Dining rooms, inside garden, the bed room and the bath room were all clean and cosy. There was a big bathtub, so I enjoyed taking a bath. I also liked breakfast, especially crepes. Because it is a riad, it might be a bit cold in the evening in the room, but it was okay after wearing an additional layer and turning on the air conditioner. The location was convenient too. There was a place where you can pick up a taxi nearby. Some local restaurants around the hotel were great. Nothing.
• Peter (8/5): I’d recommend this lovely Riad. - Lovely breakfast, excellent staff, really beautiful building & different areas to sit. The pool will be great in the spring and summer. Little bit too far from the centre and the walk through the medina at night could feel dodgy to some.

• Dolive (8/5): Lovely riad in close proximity to souk but peaceful escape from the business of the square. - The riad is very traditional and the roof terrace a quiet escape from the business of the Menara. It was hard to find and the alley leading to the riad is dark and had some building work going on. We were made very welcome and given lots of insight into the area and attractions as well as things to avoid. The breakfast was good and the pool looked gorgeous even if a bit too cold to use in December. We enjoyed an afternoon snooze on sunbeds. Would visit again. The entrance alley could have a sign to indicate the riad is further down as the waiter from the nearby restaurant rescued us from walking past numerous times.
• Christoforus (10/5): Centrally located beautiful historic riad with super nice staff and great rooms and public spaces. - It is a beautiful historic riad with museum-like qualities. we had a brilliant time there, we loved the many 'lounge' areas inside and outside, the terraces, the tent, the pool, the library, we had a lovely seating area on the balcony outside our room. The room, bed & shower were great. The Moroccan breakfast was abundant and tasty. Hakim and the other staff were super friendly and helpful in every way. The location can not be better with the Ben Youssef Madrasa around the corner, several other sights within a minute walking, and the rest, like Jemaa el Fna, walkable in maybe 10 minutes. For anything else you easily find a taxi at 200 meters. Restaurants, bars and shops are also close by. Very very highly recommended! Nothing at all.

• Fáczán (10/5): Amazing stay at a beatutiful authentic riad in Medina - Amazing and authentic riad with very good location in the Medina. The rooms are nice, clean and quiet. Hamkim and the staff is super friendly and very helpful! For example: Hakim helped us to buy banana at midnight, upon arrival to have some bites for dinner after our long flight. The breakfast was also good! Unfortunately the weather was too cold and we did not have the opportunity to try out the pool, but we had an amazing time here!
• Cat (10/5): A magnificent gem, this Riad is wonderful and will stay again! - Location is north of the market streets, quiet spot, and easy to walk to the main attractions but also away from the tourist bustle. The manager gave fantastic advice for our stay and nothing was a bother. The Riad is incredible and a delight to come back to after much walking and site seeing, it’s a sanctuary. The rooms are gorgeous, however the bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me, but it was fine and we slept well.

• Bethany (9/5): A wonderful haven in the busy medina of Marrakech - The location was superb, as was the pool. It was quite a saviour to have a dip during the hottest points of the day. Hakim and the staff were helpful and very kind, they always did their best to care for us. The Riad is traditional and very beautiful, there are many hidden gems amongst the interiors. The breakfast was great, however as we stayed at the Riad for 10 days it became a little repetitive. The breakfast consisted of Morrocan breads and pancakes, jams and two eggs every day.
