The Riad has a deep old world charm that is hard to describe, but for travellers seeking a relaxing oasis in high quality surroundings, this is it. Wonderful room, but a drain odour in the bathroom. Put it out of our mind as an old building, but it would have been better if this wasn't the case as otherwise superb.

The riad itself (the inner courtyard) is exemplary of the style and very well-maintained. There are also many different corners in the hotel to find a peaceful and private corner. Our room was beautifully appointed, with nice details that made our stay even more pleasant. The staff are simply exceptional - all were so helpful, thoughtful, and professional. Very good food with ample choice in a beautiful dining room. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Marrakesh. That I can’t pack it up and bring it home with me when I need an oasis of peace and beauty.

• Lavis (10/5): A timeless oasis in the midst of marrakech - The Palais riad lemrani is a timeless oasis in the midst of marrakech. In March, the gardens are verdant and fragrant offering a cool retreat after each foray into the busyness of the souk and medina. The rooftop terraces, with selectively placed sunbeds, & separate tables and chairs, offers space for the sun lovers. The riad is ideally situated, offering easy access to sites inside the city walls - Jardin Secret, Madrasa, Quibba and Jemaa el fnaa- and easy access outside the walls to the newer parts of the City. There is a timeless charm to the Lemrani and it is one of the best examples of a riad in the city. Tour guides can be found on the lane outside explaining its history and treasures to their charges. To fully appreciate it though you need to stay and to dine here. The staff attentive and warm. Nothing is too much trouble for Ahmed, Yousef, Khalid and their colleagues. They are quick to provide advice about where to visit, how to get there, little tips on language and etiquette. I stay in many hotels for business but have seldom found one so authentic in its warmth and charm. The careful attention to maintaining the many period artefacts, furnishings and fixtures was a source of real pleasure and it was clear the whole team took pride in maintaining the beautiful riad. We chose one room off the garden - Le Sultane (which is also where dining takes place) and one room on the 1st floor - La Pascha which had a small private terrace above the small pool. Both were unique in their timeless furnishings & attentively cared for by the thoughtful housekeeping staff. Make sure to visit and take afternoon tea, lunch or dine here as the food is excellent, with choices available for those who want to eat authentically Moroccan and those who prefer a more European menu. We spent 4 nights at the Lemrani and would highly recommend it. We would like to thank Ahmed and all the team for making our holiday so special, There was nothing about the property we did not like.

• Virve (10/5): Cozy and elegant riad with top-notch service - We just loved everything: our room, the beautiful roof terraces, the wonderful restaurant and most importantly the whole staff (Oussama, Youssef, Khaled, Ahmed, lovely housekeeping ladies and many more). It's a peaceful oasis in the medina and perfect place to escape the busy alleys of the souks. • anna (10/5): Oasi paradisiaca e staff stupendo - Il Riad ha pochissime stanze (quindi pochi ospiti) ma uno spazio enorme tra stanze di relax, ristorante, giardino e terrazza, che rende quindi l'atmosfera intima e ti da la possibilità di goderti davvero i luoghi. La stanza era molto bella, con un balcone, una vasca da bagno gigante. C'erano un sacco di prese, che è fantastico per caricare tutto in qualunque posto. Lo staff è semplicemente splendido. Abbiamo mangiato a cena due sere di 3 ed erano tutti così gentili. In primis, estremamente qualificati e professionali. Hanno un modo di servire che è molto "old school classic". Ormai non ci sono più molti posti così dove abito, e quindi essere servita con questa cura mi ha spiazzato. Siamo stati davvero bene e hanno reso l'esperienza davvero indimenticabile. Non era molto chiaro il funzionamento del minibar e ci siamo dimenticati di aver preso delle cose dentro quando siamo partiti, quindi abbiamo pagato solamente una bibita e non i biscottini. Sono mortificata.

Die schönsten Zimmer, die wir je in einem Hotel gehabt haben.

• HAKIM (10/5): A fantastic team, a great place, delicious food. Heaven on the middle of the Medina’s chaos. Jana’s et Fnaa is 5 minutes - Exceptional. Not your usual Riad. The central patio is beautiful, surrounded by plants in a very quiet and relaxing environment. The restaurant tables are hidden in this green and vegetal space in the middle of the Medina. Multiple terraces with sorndid views on the Atlas and El-Koutoubia as well as a large swimming pool! Nothing. Everything was perfect.

It is like staying in a museum - very colonial and plush amongst lush interior gardens and stunning roof terraces with the best views in Marrakech! Old properties experience technical issues sometimes but when an issue was pointed out it was fixed so promptly we didn't even notice.

La ubicacion es excelente. Pocas habitaciones (6), por lo que te sientes casi en privado. Parte del personal de desayunos no es lo suficientemente eficiente para un alojamiento de esta categoria. La TV y algun radiador no funcionaba y no lo arreglaron en tres dias, por mucho que se lo recordamos. La mayoria de las pocas habitaciones que tiene estan en p. baja, lo cual es frio para en invierno (y sera bueno en verano, supongo)

Eles fizeram valer a nossa estadia no local. Muitos problemas de manutenção do hotel como televisões velhas, falta de energia todo o tempo, falta de água quente várias vezes, ao chegarmos no hotel o terraço de hotel parecia uma lavanderia já que muitos panos estavam estendidos no local. Tudo foi resolvido com muita atenção e simpatia da equipe do hotel, mas foram problemas constantes e desnecessários infelizmente.
• Baya Et Ziaid (10/5): Séjour exceptionnel, accueil humain et inoubliable - Nous avons séjourné au Palais Lamrani pour célébrer nos dix ans de mariage et tout a été absolument parfait. Le palais est magnifique, élégant et idéalement situé dans la médina, mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, c’est l’humain. L’accueil a été remarquable dès notre arrivée. Un immense merci à Hamed et Khaled pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leurs précieux conseils. Latifa, la gouvernante, est d’une bienveillance incroyable et veille à ce que chaque détail soit parfait. Youssef au service a été attentionné, discret et toujours souriant. Nous nous sommes sentis attendus, respectés et sincèrement choyés tout au long du séjour. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, le calme du palais est très appréciable après l’agitation de la médina, et l’ambiance générale est chaleureuse et authentique. Un lieu que nous recommandons sans hésitation et que nous garderons longtemps dans nos souvenirs. Note : 10/10 – nous reviendrons.

Das Highlight des Riads ist der traumhaft schöne Innengarten, der ebenfalls als Restaurant genutzt wird. Die Auswahl der Speisekarte ist reichlich und sehr lecker zubereitet. Es gibt zwei Dachterrassen die zum relaxen einladen und über eine schöne Aussicht verfügen.

• Ros (9/5): Wonderfully tranquil in beautiful surroundings with exceptional staff. - Beautiful surroundings and super lovely staff. The roof top terraces were great for watching the sunset. The food was lovely including breakfast. I spent quite sometime searching for the best place to stay based on reviews, location etc - it paid off, we had a lovely few days away thank you. Nothing to do with the property- I booked a taxi through Booking.com which dropped us off in the pouring rain a 20 minutes walk from where we were staying. I’d recommend you book a taxi through the hotel - it was dark, raining and without our bearings I felt vulnerable.
