- Verified traveler (2/5): Give this one a miss. - It's a Church that also doubles up as a mattress store and also a B&B. The area seems dangerous as we were approached several times outside the premises and felt general unsafe for our welfare.
- Joshua (4/5): Super nice staff, but creeeeeeepy ass place - You have to meet the reception folks at the desk in a furniture store, then they take you down to the "hotel". really, it's a hostel with 4 creepy bedrooms with a bed, wardrobe, no windows, a sink, and a weird flamingo poster. there are two 1/2 bathrooms as well as two rooms with just a shower. bathrooms and showers were clean, although one of the showers with plumbed wrong so I could only get cold or burning hot water, nothing in between. there was a kitchen, which was clean at least, but it was weird with the half jars of PB, jelly and other things in the fridge for you to eat for breakfast. there was some cheese in there with mold on it, and some muffins as well. There were eggs if you wanted to cook some yourself, which I found was weird. The only TV is in the lounge area by the kitchen. So it was more like a hostel than a bed & breakfast. While we were eating some oatmeal (figured that would be safe), a staff member appeared out of a door which I assumed was a closet to pop something in the fridge. We joked that it was leftovers from their breakfast. It could be true, not sure and that's the creepy bit. Staff was super nice at least, it was just a weird place...

- Ronally (10/5): Smile Back , A great Place to Stay. - Our trip was Amazing. We enjoyed our stay. The people were friendly and kind. The place was clean and comfortable. Lots of breakfast choices. It felt like home. We Highly Recommend Smile Back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): bad owner - The owner is not a serious business owner, he drives away the room renters by playing with the cooling system now summer time . .. . Be careful, his mentality and behavior could even cost your life.

- Bjørn (2/5): Want to be B&B; sooner Youth Hostel - B&B which does not earn this name, may be it´s more like a youth hostel? Room "with a view" which means there were some windows, located in the basement under a shop. Shared bath and shower, not indicated in the room description. Air condition could´nt be controlled, bad air during the night. No chairs or something to sit on in the room. Breakfast as a self service, ingrediants from the fridge. Even there were no sounds from the shop or street it was noisy due to the other three guest rooms. Total lack of privacy. Slow internet. The neighborhood appears shabby, and next Metro station reaches only by bus, a 15 minutes ride. Unfortunatly I cannot recommend this B&B at all, at least not til the price we paid.

Absolutely terrible, selling mattresses in the check in area is your first hint that this isn't a professional operation. Rooms don't have their own bathrooms, everything is shared. No TV or really anything else in the room except for a bed. Ridiculously over priced for what is basically a student hostel experience.

- Jenny (2/5): Not what I expected. - The lighting in the room was very poor. The room was cold. The shower had only warm water. Did not get hot. No TV in bedroom only in common area, I couldn't get it to work. The WiFi only worked in common area not in bedroom. I was booked for five nights but I checked out after two nights.

- Sara (4/5): Totally over rated deal, don't take it - I got to this place as I had no other choice regarding a last minute booking for one unexpected night at Toronto. It says free parking lot, had to pay for it at the end even if I had the "word" of the staff I wouldn't have to. Breakfast wasn't eatable. We couldn't sleep the night as the bed sheets had some sort of cleaning product that had us itching everywhere the whole night. The price was truly expensive vs. the experience, for the same price normally I would have a 4 star hotel. Their office opens at 10:00am and there's no telephone to call to, so I wanted to complain about all of this, specially about the parking lot matter but as we were working early in Toronto I just had to leave the place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not a B and B. Its a 3 BR apt under mattress store - Clean bed. Kitchen nice. Only tv is in common area high on a shelf, had assumed for price tv would be in bedrooms. Majority of food available was already opened food. Better to buy cans of pop than to offer half drank bottles of pop and cereal from used boxes. Check in was in the dirty dark mattress store terrible first impression. Woke us up early first day when they came in to make bfast when we had stated night before we didn't want it. Though it looked like a nice spread there was hair in one of the homemade baked Goodson Woken up last day due to church service in building. It is clean but is not a B and B. Thank goodness we were only guests as it is really a three bedroom apartment with tight quarters. I see on a number of reviews management says the people didn't stay there as a response. They did, they describe the place perfectly.
- andy (4/5): In the basement of a store - You check in, in the mattress store. B&B is around the side in the basement! A hike to get to the bathroom. Thin sheet on the bed, no comforter. Owners live above.. Hear them stomping over your bed. No natural light, small windows don't even open. Employees were nice... About all that was nice. First and likely last B&B experience :(

- Adrian (4/5): Sketchy Hostel for 150 dollars per night. - The most sketchiest "hotel" experience I ever had. The "hotel" is actually a hostel that is inside a residential house with 5 rooms and 1 shared bathroom and kitchen. It's way overpriced for a hostel and the photos on expedia are false advertising. Not only that, but the address for the "hotel" is not the one on expedia so the hotel staff had to drive us to the residential house that is the "hotel". We also shared the "hotel" with 2 other guests, which is just ridiculous. When we were sleeping I heard people walking outside of our room inside the house we were in. It's just a very disturbing experience that isn't for everyone. I just hope expedia changes the title of this "hotel" to hostel and not advertise it as one. Avoid if expecting a hotel. It is clean, but quite sketchy non the less, especially when you share the bathroom with 4 other rooms and other people.

This b&b is in terrible location in Toronto; residential neighborhood with nothing to see or do in close proximity and it is far from Subway.
- Alicia (10/5): - Smile back was fantastic, we would book there again in a heartbeat! The staff were friendly and helpful. The pick up and drop off service offered to the airport was timely and affordable. The breakfast selection was pretty good. I asked if a birthday cake could be put into our room for my husbands birthday when we arrived, they picked an amazing cake and added champagne too!! Great touch, we much enjoyed! Thank you!
