• Jamaca (1/5): Dont do it - Front desk lady I assume was the owner was polite I guess Literally everything else was horrible. It was so bad we checked out after 30 minutes, we even were in a "king suite" it was dirty, it reminded me of a motel on Colfax in Denver. It's outrageously priced for flooring coming up and amenities not available

• Alexis (1/5): HORRIBLE! I want a refund. We didn’t even stay it was so unsafe. - Nothing. We didn’t even stay the night. It was so gross we left and found a different motel. The rooms were dirty, there wasn’t toilet paper, no towels. The door between the front office and the owners private residence was open and you could see their messy house overflowing with garbage. We only picked this place because of an advertised indoor pool and sauna. The pool was covered with a tarp and the owner got mad when we asked to use it. When he rolled the tarp back, there was black stuff floating in it and it was freezing. We didn’t even stay the night. It felt very unsafe too. I want a refund.

When we checked in, each person was given a goodie bag - bottle of water, granola bar, fruit snacks, cookies, and a few more goodies! Staff was extremely pleasant too! The room was completely updated, very clean, large room, comfortable beds (always important!) and the location was great! Definitely recommend to stay here! Nothing! The building looks a bit dated on the outside but don’t let that deter you from staying here! The room is completely updated and very clean! We did not use the pool during our stay.

• Suzanne (10/5): - My room had the best TV of any hotel room i've ever been too which was really surprising considering this is a budget motel. Really impressed with the TV situation and everybody had already loaded their accounts on the TV so you could use their amazon prime no need to login to my own. There was 2 guys who appeared to be living in a creepy van with a cat inside which had my wife paranoid. Maybe they were staying at the motel but they were transient. They did not bother us but it is weird. The lady at the front desk did not seem to be friendly but gave us 2 gift snack bags which we gave to our kids. I have never gotten gifts like this from even fancy hotels. We appreciated it. Shower and bed was nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

• Duman (10/5): Great little motel close to everything. Made our single day here great. Will be back for sure - Charming little place we found on a last minute trip out of the Rockies. The owners were awesome and gave us goodie bags when we checked in. This was great because this was our first stop after a 4 day backpacking trip in Flat Tops. TV had access to apps and my daughter was able catch up on Love Island. Nothing, this placed rocked. Would stay here again 10/10

It was very clean and they gave each of us a "welcome bag" with fresh fruit, snacks and a bottled water. Which I thought was very personable. It's location is great also. We will definitely be back.

• Dakota (10/5): Last minute booking was received with tremendous hospitality for a quick wonderful stay. - Designated smoking area was a cute little garden and had chairs facing the main road. Parking lot was clean and the staff was fantastic. We had a little glitch where our stay was booked a day later than our arrival and the staff fixed it in a jiffy and also provided us with welcome bags with fresh chilled fruit and snacks . Which after a 13 hour day of driving was a beautiful symbol of hospitality and was greatly appreciated. WiFi- speed was Meh but it’s a motel so I expected as much.

There was hot water with good pressure. The bathroom is very small, the door almost touches the toilet when opened. The front door has a broken door chain lock. The air conditioner was so noisy that it was difficult to sleep.

• Donald (10/5): Best host ever - On short notice we discovered we would need a double, not a single king. The host handled our request with a smile and no upcharge. The host also provided abundant tips on places to eat and how to get to places of interest. The location was well situated for easy access to attractions.
• Sharon (10/5): Great stay in Old Colorado City - First, I had stayed at this property 30 years ago. It has changed hands since then! This is a great location for shopping and dining. Plus, it’s pretty iconic. The sign is unique and perfect for the location. We were greeted by the current owner. She was friendly and welcoming. The check-in was a bit analog rather than digital.😁 but it was quick. Rooms are accessed by key cards. Before leaving the office, much to my surprise, we were given gift bags of snacks. Really good snacks! Our room was on the second floor. Conveniently, We were able to park nearby. There is no elevator. Stairs are manageable. The room was clean, with no objectionable odors. It obviously had been remodeled. The room had 2 king beds, but we only used one. The sheets were nice, striped, not just standard white. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was newly tiled with new sink and fixtures. The water pressure in the shower was more than adequate. Water was up to temperature very quickly. The towels were large and soft. Overall, our one night stay was a very positive experience. We’d stay here again!
