Guest Reviews
- Daniel (8/5): So Clean, So Good, - I wish there was a restaurant, instead of only having room service. There was also some concern that this is a "by the hour" hotel with two hard-core adult channels on the TV Overall, It is a great facility.
- Dan (8/5): - Nice stay
- Raymond (10/5): - Friendly staff, safety/ security, more bang for the bucks and close to MOA mall.
- Alejo Jr (10/5): - The staff were accommodating and the hotel was safe.
- Antero (8/5): Our quarterly haven - It was an amazing stay in your hotel for it was very accessible to the places we visited to.
- Raymond (10/5): - This Sogo is close to Mall of Asia. Also, if you walk around (safe) you’ll find a lot of cheap clothing and shoes… loved it!
- Antero (8/5): - It was a great experience and hope to go back in June.
- Jenelyn (10/5): Excellent - So good, I loved the foods & friendly people💞💞💞
- Don Nicolai (10/5): - It's great but in the manila it's very hot even in night but the hotel is great will book again next time😁😁😁
- Ali (10/5): - Renovated
- Ali (10/5): Much improved - Best sogo
- Raymond (8/5): - I liked (pros) this SOGO because:
1. Cheap ( don’t expect much).
2. Close to Mall of Asia & a 7/11.
3. There’s shopping all around the hotel; cheap…
Cons…
If you need to go out of the hotel to smoke or head to 7/11, but leave you Honey in the hotel.
The front desk will ask you “ what room you’re in”… then will call the room to verify. I use this hotelsogo for many years and still can’t get over this issue.
- Ma.theresa (2/5): - The food was so bad. We both ill had bad tummy ache because of the food.
- Felino (6/5): fair enough - thought my hotel room was big but in my check in are too small for 2 of us, not achieved my expectations
- Antero (8/5): - The hotel is very accessible to PUJ's/PUV's. Very near to all the areas we wanted to visit. I will surely stay again in this hotel.
- FORTHELLIE (2/5): - INTERNET IS VERY BAD
- Maria (6/5): - Need to improve menu, not to many choices, pink sticker are unavailable.
I choice non smoking, but the room has ashtrays and smell cigarettes.
Improve WIFI it keeps cutting.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - its always a great place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I stayed in the hotel for the mandatory 10 day quarantine so I didn't really had the opportunity to explore the place. But because I can't leave the room I had to rely on the staff to get my meals... which includes sending them out if I want something outside their menu. The staff were cordial!!!
- E (8/5): - Very comfortable for short time stay with my spouse, room service is good too, and everything is within arms reach, lights, phone etc. Convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The bathroom is not so clean. the toilet flush does not work although somebody went to fix it but it still didnt work so what the hell. we were there for a quick stop going to the airport just to place our luggage for safety and quick shower. They gave us the first available cheap room NOT the one we paid for in advance online $40+ but took it bec we were going out after check in. we never get a response even we ask if we can check in at 6am after we paid which is why we got the boot getting a cheap room. The staff were quick to response but keep asking if we are checking out though we just barely check in and getting settled. The only thing why i chose Sogo is you can check in anytime instead of 2pm like all hotel which is a big BS and a big plus to Sogo. The likelihood of me coming back to this hotel is close to NIL. Only for emergency like yesterday. I give Sogo a plus against Eurotel which is full of live cockroaches everywhere so beware of Eurotel. Dont even think about it. youll regret it. I did😩
- PHILIP (6/5): - It was just okay, not great but not too bad either.
- Mary Jean (8/5): MY VACATION - The hotel was good, friendly staff, service was good. we stay 4 days & surely back again. :)
- Jestoni (6/5): Whatever - First I noticed was the toilet bowl. There’s a hair inside and under the ream is wet. I’am Stateroom Steward in Norwegian Cruise Line I know what to check. I request for makeup room we wait almost 1 hr nobody came. I noticed the receptionist the way they treat the Chinese guest, they act like so tough even when I ask one of them to send someone to makeup our room I feel the way she speak like she was annoyed when I tell her to “please send someone to makeup our room” I’am not Junior Stateroom Steward, I’am Stateroom Steward and my friend with me in the hotel is Jr. Stateroom also we both working in Housekeeping department . They should extend their temper to their guests even the nationaliy is Chinese or whatever.
- Kevin (8/5): Bring Your Own Blanket - The room is clean and modern, but fairly small. They only give you a sheet in the packet they give you, and it is too cold with the air conditioning on. So I used my own blanket. No children allowed in this hotel and there are 2 adult channels on the TV. Mall of Asia is about a 20 minute walk.
- Bob (8/5): - Meet basic needs of an overnight hotel stay, location was good.
- Nathaniel (4/5): - There is no Wifi, & Not Organize
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very convinuent n clean - Service ok n uts so clean n nice the food they serve us
- Verified traveler (6/5): BUSY PLACE - I STAY 4 NIGHT THEY CLEAN THE ROOM ONE TIME SO BUSY AREA
- Leonora (6/5): Good - It was nice and clean but i hope you will have to change the towel and clean the room everyday
- John (10/5): Nice hotel. Close to Mall of Asia and airport. - Nice place for the price you pay. The shower in my CR wasn’t working right so it spayed the ceiling. So there was mold growing on the ceiling. Otherwise it was a nice stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for short stay - Near airport.
Reasonable price and a friendly staff.
This hotel is good for a short stay.
- Teng (8/5): accessible to all the Malls - Great!....im comfortable in my room.open for guest.
- ricky (6/5): improved - How Bad Is It To Not Wash Your Sheets Every week.improve restaurant dining room service.bed cover & aircon not cooling properly
- Kevin (8/5): Good For A Single Guy - This place is basically for single guys and couples. Children are not allowed in. There are a couple of adult channels on the TV and a bar complex is accross the EDSA, connected by a bridge. The Mall of Asia is within easy reach and there are restaurants within walking distance.
- Ronald (10/5): Single guy on the cheap - I have stayed here before for single guy on the cheap it is great. quick jeep trip to moa and lrt is close
- Peter (4/5): - Not a nice place to stay as they rent rooms by the hour, and I feel people understand why!!
- Lorena (6/5): quality of service and cleanliness of rooms - It's all ok but few things to focus, there no make up room to throw the garbage and to change towel I do not know what was the policy that there's nothing to read.. then in time of ordering foods that many times was incorrect delivered..and the employee were noisy once they were in corridor...otherwise all good!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Ok you ask me so I will tell you ..I booked this hotel for 10 days stay for my holidays in manila on arrival I checked in and had to wait about one hour for my room to be made up .in the room we were greeted by German cockroaches ..during the nights sleeps I woken by the room next door performing sex acts I cant describe the noise the girls was making .but sounded like it was hurting her LOL then I decided to cancel the rest of the stay there after about 5 hours of haggling they penalised me one nights stay that's ok but after 3 weeks I am still waiting for my refund ..SO DIRTY SO NOISY SO NO MORE SOGO FOR ME ...
- Kome (6/5): Embark on costumers satisfaction - My experience was not all that good. Firstly, the room I booked wasn't offered to me, I ordered for an extra bed spread which was not offered yo me, and there wad no body the clean up my room through out my stay in the hotel which gave me a bad impression about the hotel. Conclusively, I think they hotel doesn't care about costumers satisfaction. They are rather out for money making.
- Kevin (8/5): A Great Deal For Manila - The room is very clean and modern, but small with no windows. OK with me, as no traffic noise from the EDSA, which is a problem sometimes in this area. They only give you a small sheet to sleep under, so you might want to bring a blanket if sleeping with air conditioning. The air conditioner, the TV, and everything else works fine, and there is plenty of hot water plus a hair dryer. The TV has several adult channels, plus there is a girlie bar complex right across the EDSA, so probably not suitable for families.
- David (6/5): Sogo in Cebu gave free water and breakfast - The aircon was warm not cold
- Weib (10/5): Nice hotel with private garage - We're travelling with a car so it's nice that it has its own garage. Also, we were surprised when we turned on the TV. It was set to a XXX channel. So, if you go to Sogo Hotel and to turn on TV, make sure your child is in the bathroom. Hahahaha! :)
- Verified traveler (6/5): Need to check the room first before guest check i - Room was ok, beddings was very old and towels too. Shower room and toilet was ok but the tap for shower was lose and falling apart i had to ask my boyfriend to hold the tap whilst having shower. Food and service was good, friendly staffs.
- Elias (4/5): No WINDOWS - My two main problems with this hotel is one that it had no windows. So I felt trapped in a dark cage. Two and even worst, was that it had roaches. i think is because they take food to people's house. The staff were nice and it had free WiFi.But the way the room was set up did not give me a good vibe.
- Liau Tiong (2/5): - Horrible never in my travel before, hotel staff calling early morning 330-430am and inform me check out as I've book for 5night stay between 30/1-4/2 and 3 night 31/1-3/2 after informed them the mistake they've, still asking me go lobby reception show document proof, shock on that. After notice of mistakes make nit even a sorry
- jovial (2/5): Never in my oversea experience bad bad bad - Never in my experience before, 5 night stay between 30/1 - 4/2 but hotel staff ring me up early morning 3/2 around 430-530am and inform me room 416 expired and wanted me to check out. After rectify than they notice of their mistake but didn't even say sorry. I've book for another room 17 between 31/1 - 3/2 same problem they wake me up at 330-430am and wanted my friends to check out, can't they notice us advanced that room 17 required top up cost for extended, after making payments not receive was issued, many staff but only busy talking / chat not service to customers, my question is had you ever come across this experience early 330-530am been wake up by hotel staff and inform you that you had to check out before?
- Marco (2/5): - There rude and not customer service oriented that's why on that night I walk out and cancel my book and find another hotel on that same day. I personally rate them -10
- Verified traveler (6/5): Terrible Internet Connection - Its no use having a free internet access if you can't access the internet at all with their connection.
- Mark Anthony (6/5): Fine - The facilities are good but it took time for me to get my room. When I arrive at the hotel I showed my email from my booking from this site. But the manager said she cannot find my bookings. For almost 10 minutes of discussing she gave me my room card and after 2 hours she called me again and asking that she cannot find my payment. She ask for the card # that I used and I gave the #. Even in my check out the manager is asking about my payment. My flight was very early and I told the manager that I don't have time to discuss things because I will be late in my flight. I can say that the facilities are great. From reception, hallway, elavator, room, air conditioning but for delaying me to get my room even I have my booking and calling me when I was sleeping I can say it was very disturbing. The reasons why I book a hotel is that I want to get my room as fast as I can so I can rest and I don't want to wait to get a room but it wasn't happen.
