- Prashant (7/5): Great location but way too overpriced for the rest of the experience, food is especially bad. - Loved the greenery around the property. Lovely tub and shower. Great housekeeping and in room dining staff, great check in and check out at reception, lovely valet services. Staff took great care of the food we ordered for our baby. Packed her a lovely breakfast for our return journey after checkout. Food is consistently substandard across room service and restaurants. ‘Woods’ was still ok, but being just ok at this price is a crime! And the buffet at ‘latest recipe’ was horrendous. Also, didnt like that after such an expensive room rate, we were charged 500 for a simple twenty minute walk around the property.

The Rooms are Excellent Covered with Lush Green Trees and Beautiful Pathway. Check-in Was Seamlessly Smooth Miss Shilpi Explained everything about the Resort in Detail. Two things which were down side were Food at Woods Pan Asian Restaurant. And Second most was service. Staff was Rude and behaved bad. Very Slow and poor Service. The Restaurant had very Limited Food options in Vegetarian. the staff do not have manners No Greeting Barely anyone speaking English. No Basic Manners Not expected from a 5 Star Resort like Le meridian. But what Made our Time Memorable was efforts shown by Chef Junaid Akram…He took care bou food anything and everything as we wanted. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and thoughtful. A beautiful property with an even more beautiful team. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the team stood out. As Marriott Bonvoy Titanium members, we felt genuinely recognised and valued throughout the stay. They also provided cocktail hour from 6-7 pm at the bar which was a great gesture for being loyal Marriott members. The property itself is beautiful — surrounded by lush greenery, well-maintained pathways, excellent amenities, and a calm atmosphere that makes you instantly disconnect from the outside world. We enjoyed our morning walks around the property everyday. The rooms and housekeeping were at their best and the food was excellent. The overall vibe of the resort is peaceful luxury at its best. An outstanding stay, made even more special by the exceptional treatment and hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mahabaleshwar.

A special thanks to Lakhan Pandit for his fascinating astrology insights, which added a unique and personal touch to the experience. Rohit Singh at the front desk was warm, efficient, and always ready to help. Gaurav Thakur, the restaurant manager, ensured every meal was delightful with impeccable service. Prashant from in-room dining was prompt and courteous, making dining in just as enjoyable. A big shoutout as well to Chefs Prem and Akram for their delicious creations—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and truly outstanding. Truly a team that goes above and beyond—looking forward to visiting again!

- Saahil_kalvani (10/5): A fabulous property - I visited the hotel a couple of times. The spa is fantastic - the deep relax massage was very good. Also attended a yoga session in the morning. The instructor Ruji is a great teacher and customises the sessions based on your requirements. Also had dinner at the Woods - lovely setting. Aditya was a great host. I also checked out the bar and had breakfast too. A big shout out to Lawrence, the spa manager, who was exceptional and helped arrange all of these wonderful experiences. He’s so helpful and polite. Only thing free was face reading.The spa is costly , kids swimming etc are too good. There is nothing to do otherwise . Just relax in the rooms or enjoy their sumptuous spread of breakfast lunch and dinner. The best thing is they have superb pure veg baked options which was awesome , so many varieties superb not seen till now in any 4/5 star hotels . And not to miss their pure veg restaurant itself with so many jain options . On the whole very good for two days not more

- FarAway25449732503 (10/5): Great job - The staff were excellent. It was very crowded in the coffee shop on the first floor, where we usually had breakfast and dinner. Anurag Pandey and 2-3 others were just perfect with their service. I mean they are the pillars of the restaurant.
- 246dips (8/5): Comfortable Luxury Hotel with good service. - The villas are well furnished internally and comfortable. The balconies are not really useable as trees encroach the space- there is little light or view from our balcony. Some senior staff at reception were poor and did not consider the guest's point of view or how a guest approaches a problem or whether the guest was reasonable in their request- a basic tenant of hospitality- These management types simply had a uniform narrative to tell you what you can't do! Other staff such a Lawrence in the gym and pool area were excellent as was Pritty in the main restaurant. Amit, Suraj and Abhishek at reception were kind and understanding of the guests needs - we had arrived exhausted at 6am following an 18hr car journey due to the Indigo flight disruption. Our best evening was dinner at the Woods restaurant preceded by a bonfire and drinks nearby. Overall thanks to Anant the GM for turning around and making our visit enjoyable.

Has potential to be one of the best resorts in India. 2 areas that pulled our experience down were 1. Room view - while the website shows breathtaking views the room options on site don’t have those views. Even after changing a room the views are as attached in the photos. Rooms are small keeping in mind the starting room rent is 30K + 2. Service at breakfast is extremely slow, it took 30 min (Non exaggeration) to get a paratha on table. In a luxury setup this is the least of expectations. There are some great wins for the property like their roof top pool area, woods restaurant dining experience which is super amazing.

Infinity pool is small but pretty. Value for money - They typically charge 30k for a basic room over weekend in which no excursions are included which we find is little too stretched in terms of worth of price.

- Shachi25 (2/5): Worst Experience Ever – Marriott & Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Have Cheated Us! - Our recent stay at Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa was an absolute disgrace to the Marriott brand. As Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite members, we expected at least basic respect and privileges, but instead, we were treated like beggars. 1. Zero Elite Recognition & Fake Promises Room upgrades were shown as “available” till the day before, but at check-in, we were bluntly denied with no explanation. Marriott’s so-called elite benefits meant nothing here. 2. Bed Bugs & Ants – Health Hazard! The room was infested with bed bugs and red ants. My parent was bitten multiple times – her leg swelled badly, and the staff completely ignored it. Not even basic first aid was offered. This is not just bad service; it is criminal negligence for a luxury resort. 3. Rude & Insensitive Management Instead of solving the problem, the duty manager “threw” 2000 Bonvoy points at us like alms. That’s how Marriott values a guest’s health and experience? Shameful. 4. Diamond Earring Lost – No Effort to Help My niece lost a diamond earring during the stay. The staff didn’t even bother to properly clean or search the room. We were simply dismissed. 5. Bonvoy Points Withheld – Lies & Excuses Our stay points were not credited for over a month. The hotel kept lying, blaming “Marriott Bonvoy not responding.” We know this was false. 6. Marriott Corporate Escalation – Useless! After returning home, I escalated the issue. Ms. Shalini and Mr. Saurabh from Marriott Bonvoy’s highest escalation desk promised fair compensation and a written response. They have now ghosted us completely – no calls, no emails, nothing. This entire experience was humiliating, unsafe, and a complete breach of trust. For a brand like Marriott to allow such filthy conditions, rude treatment, and zero accountability is beyond unacceptable. We feel cheated, disrespected, and deeply let down. WARNING to all travelers: Avoid Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar at all costs. Marriott Bonvoy’s loyalty program and “elite” recognition are just empty words when you really need their support.
