• Silvia (8/5): Perfect stop on our road trip. - Chris, at the reception, was really nice and helpful. We arrived late at night and he greeted us with a smile. The hotel is stuck in the 80s when it comes to decoration, but the rooms were clean, very big and perfect for us. There was an iron and board. The bathroom was clean. You cannot ask for anything more on a road trip. We liked everything.

We got coffee with POWDERED CREAM and Tea that had no ready Hot Water. Each time we had to ask staff to boil water for the Tea. The BED rolled my wife & I towards the middle of the mattress,

• KATHY (1/5): Worst hotel ever - The desk clerk was nice No breakfast, no maid service, mold on the ceiling, heat/ac had a constant noise while running that did not allow you to sleep, tv continued to say network error so we couldn’t watch tv, ice machine not working,, when you laid on the mattress you fell into a hole or sorts that you had to rock your body to get out of to get off the bed. A dump and not worth the money Very disappointed

• Lexi GIbson (9/5): Great value, lovely Motel owners/managers, MUST see Lake Raystown nearby - We didn't have breakfast, but the family who owns it offered us fresh coffee right away! There was a mini fridge we used, and everything else about the room we enjoyed just fine. Defintely a good value, but great for all we wanted. Bathroom was a little outdated for a Motel, but mainly it was the prison across the street that we weren't expecting lol. But we felt totally fine and safe. PRO: The area is surrounded by a really cute town with great places to eat and explore!

There were few toiletries, no bedside table on one side of the bed, and cheap bedding, carpeting and curtains. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable but it was clean and fairly quiet. The smell of cigarette smoke is everywhere outside.

• Peachey (7/5): Too pricey for what we got & no breakfast. - Close to what we needed for the night. Room needed a thorough cleaning. Carpets dirty, spider webs on ceiling. Bathroom was clean, but needed bars for handicap use on toilet. Mattress needs replaced, rolled to center.

• Gino (4/5): A Big Mistake! - Worst rooms or environment we have ever been in. Not welcoming at all. Walls dirty, very old style, long hairs left on the towels, shower, and sink. Paint job long over due. Surroundings pleasant, amble parking, and local restaurants. This facility should not be on the Hotel.com list. Total dissatisfaction.

They even got a room for us after a cancellation....Inn was totally booked for the weekend as was every other hotel within miles. Second room was even better. Quiet after the Penn state tailgate crowd left. Nice views

Besides being genuinely nice people they went above and beyond and added their way to show us around help us out take us around drive us pick us up they couldn't have done anymore. • Steve (10/5): - My family has been staying here for nearly all the years that we've visited Huntingdon County. It's a quiet and comfortable place and a slice of Americana. The staff is always friendly and the whole town is as well. The faclities are a little dated in spots but the beds are comfy and the showers always have plenty of hot water. The rates aren't bad either.
