- Sandra (10/5): It was wonderful. - The staff were excellent. I was having family in for a BBQ.. The staff bend over backwards to get propane for us. To be able to use their bbq. Anything we needed extra towels etc. They were happy to help! Perhaps a kettle in the room.
- Angela (8/5): Very pleased with our stay. Would recommend to others - Room was very clean and. comfortable. Travelling with young children. Exactly what we needed for over night stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
- Lavallee (10/5): Agréable et bien situé. - J ai bien apprécié le nombre de canal de langue française disponible a la télévision.

- Marina (2/5): I will not stay there again and I do not recommend this place. - Price Our room was not clean. We got moved to another room which was but very time the bathroom light went on with the vent it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke which I figured out was coming from whoever was living downstairs.
- David (8/5): -
- Mohamad (8/5): Circumstantially ideal - TV was in front of the bed Wifi was slow
- Carol (8/5): - Clean and quiet room with a very comfortable bed.
Someone called to ensure I was okay and on my way a few minutes after my estimated check-in time passed. Internet didn't work well. It kept cutting out.
The outlet for the coffee maker was too far away from where the coffee maker was sitting. There was no table space close enough to an outlet for the coffee maker, therefore had to put it on the floor to make coffee.

- Judy (9/5): Staff are friendly, rooms were comfortable and nice layout. Area is quiet. Would stay there again. - It was a comfortable stay, room is small but cozy. We had the basics and it was quiet enough though the road is down a hill. Bathroom was bit small, there were no bars to hang towels where the sink is since it is in the room outside of the bathroom.
- Vishnu (10/5): -
- Kumari Vijeta (10/5): -
- John (9/5): - Quiet location, friendly and sincere staff and comfortable bed and couch made for a wonderful stay.
- sparling (9/5): -
- Yucong (7/5): Not too bad. - Just so so The smell in the room and the heating system has a noise.
- Sergey (8/5): -
- Alex (10/5): Very comfortable and great value for money. - Comfortable beds with lots of great pillows. Also quite a nice presentation of the bedding. The attendant at the desk was pleasant and engaging. And was determined to make our stay memorable. I was encouraged by the reviews it received and amused by the one referencing the proximity of the OPP building as being beneficial. Although not the responsibility or fault of the motel The roadway adjacent to the motel was under construction and very dark. Perhaps well lit signage near the entrance would be beneficial.
- Cristiane (8/5): - The employee was very nice and helpful for checkin and helpful all the time of our stay.
The hotel is clean and has renovated areas. The pool needs some work to estimulate it's use. Is a little away from Downtown not walkable. In a general sense is a good place to stay.
- Iouri (10/5): - Very clean and well maintained
- Charlene (10/5): -
- fauzia (9/5): We stayed for one night. Staff was friendly. Very neat and clean bathroom. Room size was good. -
- Kathryn Lorraine (6/5): Motel needs work, staff good - Staff very friendly
When I had an issue they resolved it While they r in the middle of renos...there is a huge gap in the front door. Thus all manners of smells etc would waft in the door. The ac is extremely loud.
- Cameron (10/5): - Cedar labe motel is a fantastic place to stay, clean comfortable rooms, friendly and accomdating staff.
- RADHIKA (8/5): -

- 128jude (10/5): Elsewhere - Did not go as on comparing pricing went to the bear and butterfly b&b,half way to bracebridge and gravenhurst, very quiet ,very accommodating hostess
- Kaur (10/5): - The uncle who attended us was super helpful and very kind. Thankyou for letting us stay for an extra hour. just a suggestion- it would be helpful if you will have hair dryer and a smart tv available as youtube and netflix were not available
- Colleen (9/5): - Very clean, easy to check in. Would absolutely stay again!
- Carol (8/5): - It was close to wedding venue I was attending
- Robert (10/5): - Recently renovated and super clean
- Tammy (6/5): - Clean towels each day. Beds we’re comfortable. That the place still smelled of stagnant cigarettes as soon as you walked in the door even though everything looked like it had been recently replaced and painted.
There were no bedside lights and the overhead pot lights were sooooo bright.
- Deborah (7/5): - Good value for the money. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly. The location worked ok because we could get to where we needed to go but not the best for going out for a walk. Not much within walking distance.
Only complaint was the bucket of cigarette butts outside our room.
- Rabe (8/5): -
- terry (8/5): -
- Sandy (2/5): - Rooms smelled like smoke, cigrarrate
- Renee (10/5): Had a great stay and we will definitely be back. - Loved the pool area, it was clean and my daughter had a blast. Not that I didn’t like it , maybe a slight improvement would be to have a table and chair inside the pool area so families have somewhere to put their towel down and sit and be close to their kids.
- Ihor (10/5): Clean, pleasant, comfortable. I would stay there again. - A very clean, beautifully updated motel. A real bargain in an expensive area.
- Wendy (8/5): Very pleasant and would suggest it to others - No breakfast expected. Clean and fresh room. swimming pool good. TV service good The outside looks were a little shabby but they were obviously making improvements. So a little noisy outside. but still great value
- Walsh (8/5): - Clean and comfortable. Exactly what we needed forthe night.
- Theodore (10/5): Great Surprise - We were not expecting much when we booked but had a great surprise when we opened the door. The inside had been updated, it was clean and very comfortable. They are working at improving the look of the front of the hotel. We will stay here again.
- Vickie (8/5): -
- Steven (9/5): Beautiful Bracebridge - Pool, value, clean, friendly staff.
Proximity to police station may help to reduce riffraff. Not easily walkable to anything.
- Robert (7/5): Overall, despite the negative items above, we enjoyed our stay. - The location was fine.
We did not have breakfast on site. There was confusion with our room assignment upon arrival... occupied by another person (s).
Main light switch in room made it difficult for darkness for earlier sleepers.
Bedside lamps might help... just a suggestion.
- Natalie (6/5): - The bathroom light kept on turning on in the middle of the night. Broken sensor. Shampoo included, but no conditioner.
- Sally (8/5): - The beds are very comfortable and the rooms look to be newly updated.
- Laura (8/5): -
- Antonio (10/5): -
- Zeynep (8/5): We enjoyed our stay- nice and clean, great staff. -
- Raquel (1/5): Discount me!! No power!! - Come here power outage and not happy . Want my money back or a discount
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Peter (6/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Great little hide away - Avish was most accommodating...
provided extra towels, soaps and coffee pods upon request. The beds were comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean and freshly painted ( no paint smell). I would stay there again. Sadly the entrance desperately need paint, but don't let this deter you from booking
- Jane (8/5): - Very clean ,comfortable bed, lots of pillows no bedside lamp, very tight washroom , air flow in room poor.
- Ross (10/5): - Surprised at how clean and well equipped this inexpensive motel was
- Alyssa (8/5): Affordable and comfortable option during busy summer months in Muskokas! - The gentleman running this motel is very kind and friendly! Our room was clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable.
The swimming pool put back was a nice touch and was in good condition. It was a great value during busy summer months in Muskokas! The exterior could definitely use some work…
Painting of doors, some seating around the pool.
Also, the rooms would be even better with a few touches like some art work or a couple little lamps :)
- Katherine (10/5): - Friendly service, restaurants nearby
- Loida (10/5): Would definitely go back!!! - The staff SHOUT OUT to Awish (I hope I got ihis name correct). He was amazing! Very accommodating and just an awesome person. Didn't like the fact that there was a storm the night before we checked in so the water in the pool were cold. But it's not their fault.
- erica (5/5): - Location We booked because of a heated pool/playground but the pool was not heated and there was no playground
- Jim (9/5): A little hidden gem - Quiet out of the way but close to everything.
- Halliwell (8/5): -
- Voshon (10/5): - Nice and Clean

- Natasha (10/5): Cedar Lane is a hidden gem, where you are met with an old school warmth / kindness, on a property that has everythin - I really love how welcoming and kind the owner and staff are here. It is unusual to find such sincere kindness these days. They work to accommodate all of your needs to the best of their ability, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is about a 5 minute drive to the downtown area, where a wonderful winter festival happens every year called Fire and Ice. It is also quite close to Santa’s Village / Tree Top Trekking, and canoe rentals for the warmer months. The rooms have everything we needed, such as two beds, a mini fridge, microwave, and TV. The property also has an outdoor swimming pool for the warmer months, a barbecue that you are welcome to use, and a very large area in the back for leisure games or for children to run around and play. The shower and bathroom area have been newly renovated and look amazing! Cedar Lane is a gem of a find, I have been coming here for years with my family - you just don’t find places like this anymore! I loved it all!
- Jennifer (8/5): - Friendly and clean Couldn't control temp.
Was little chilly
- Mohammed (10/5): - Cleanliness
- Guy (9/5): It was okay -
- Leigh (8/5): - Super clean and good location. Would like to have softer lighting beside beds, but overall a good place to stay.
- Svetlana (7/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): I will stay there again in the future. - The outside of the motel and pictures on the wevsite do not reflect the inside of our room. The room was incredibly clean and nice. The sheets were new and fresh as was the bed and very comfortable. The room and bathroom were recently renovated and very well done. My only complaint there was a smell, it was of cleaning products I believe or air freshener. But it was a little overwhelming. The room had brick walls on either side, so it was incredibly quiet. They also had a very nice pool in behind, we didn't use but looked well maintained and clean. I would go back again. My only complaint there was a smell, it was of cleaning products I believe or air freshener. But it was a little overwhelming.
- JJ (8/5): Very good value. Rooms very clean and well-maintained inside. - Easy access Needs some exterior TLC
- Yang (10/5): - The place is super clean and nice !
- Wendy (9/5): - Gentleman who checked us in was very personable and helpful No bedside lamp. Would be nice to have hook in bathroom to hang bathrobe
- Zeron (7/5): -
- Sandra (7/5): - Clean beds comfortable They need to work around the front clean up make it look more like inside
- Verified traveler (8/5): - room renovation looks good but exterior can use some sprucing up
- Juan (9/5): -
- Hafsa (5/5): staff was helpful but extremely overpriced - location was close to santa village for a price of $250 per night . it is a rip off . it is a 2 star motel with low hyegeine , the carpet was quite dirty and the bed sheets were makingus all itch.
