- Jean (9/5): We enjoyed our stay, very relaxing - Staff was very accommodating, breakfast had a nice selection and was very good! Pool was very nice. We had four rooms in our group I felt the room with private pool was very small and pricey. The doorway had ants and migrated up the curtain & unto the tabletop in the corner which is Unacceptable For 5 star hotel. Someone From housekeeping did try to wipe them away which helped for 10 minutes. I understand there are bugs at this time of year but they need to be controlled before guests arrive in a room. Especially when we are paying high fees to stay at your hotel.

La cama era cómoda también El nombre de la habitación es MUY engañoso “superior garden” por 500 euros la noche cuando realmente es vistas al parking. Hemos visto que la gente lleva años quejándose y el hotel dice “evaluaremos tu feedback” como respuesta automática. Muchas de las instalaciones eran o viejas o gastadas. Parece que es un sitio gestionado por becarios, todos los empleados tenían menos de 24 años, no es lo que esperas en un hotel de 5 estrellas.

Chambre trop petite et vétuste pas d'ouverture de fenêtre ,Vue de la chambre indigne d'un cinq étoiles. Odeurs de moisissures dans l'armoire presque pas accessible pour ranger nos habits. Bains et SPA vieillissants. Nous ne reviendrons pas !

- Carlene (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay! - The hotel us incredible located conveniently in furnas, breakfast was really good and you have access to your own geothermal pools at the spa - absolutely amazing! The staff make this place even more wonderful, they couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Mauro was fantastic,he manages the experiences, we were there for honeymoon and he made sure everything was extra special. We took the wine and cheese experience with Fernando who was so knowledgeable the wine and cheese were superb. Lastly Alex at the bar - what a great asset to the hotel, again super knowledgeable and helped us navigate some local drinks choices. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay! Nothing

They really need to do something about the beds at all Octant properties. The beds are hard as rocks and completely unbearable to a point we almost just left. We ended up stacking a few toppers they had. Ridiculous!!! Spend some money on better mattresses and this place would be heaven. Unacceptable!!

Наш номер находился рядом с вентиляционной системой, и от термальных источников не приятно (хотя вполне природно) пахло сероводородом, это продолжалось в течении всего времени пока мы там жили. Нужно просить номер подальше, в другом крыле здания.

- George (10/5): Breathtaking Location & Exceptional Staff - Octant Furnas is an incredible hotel that offers a very warm and welcoming atmosphere! I arrived after a minor car accident covered in oil and grease and the staff insisted on shaking my hand and getting me freshened up with hand towels and a welcome drink. The hotel is set in an incredible location and is truly one of the most spectacular landscapes I’ve ever seen. Mauro done an excellent job as the experience manager. He is always present and it is easy to get the details for any trips or excursions to go on. We would recommend the Farm excursion and Gin & Cheese specifically. The spa is excellent and we had our first massage here. It was so relaxing and comforting and it was an absolute no rush experience. The thermals baths are amazing and if you go on a tour everyone will recommend them. Staying means you get to enjoy them anytime you want! Leonardo did an excellent job with the gin and cheese experience. We loved the ambience of the bar as an option instead of the restaurant. It meant we could play games whilst we ate and was a little less formal which we liked. The music was excellent in the bar! Whilst we can’t name individually every staff member that made our stay incredible. Everyone did contribute and we felt so welcomed and attended to for the entirety of our 10 day stay. We’ll be back!

- Jérôme (6/5): Trop cher pour ce que c’est - Le spa n’était pas propre, toiles d’araignées, gens qui marchent avec des chaussures autour de la piscine et dans la zone douche & sauna. Le règlement indique pas d’enfant en dessous de 12ans après 13h, il y avait des petits enfants qui jouaient et étaient bouillants. Malgré ma discussion avec la réception pour leur signaler mon étonnement , l’hôtel n’a finalement pas appliqué leur règlement . Dommage pour un hôtel de ce standing et au vu du prix pratiqué. J’avais choisis cette hôtel car le spa n’était pas autorisé aux petits enfants, pour un séjour calme et reposant .

O atendimento foi muito atencioso e humano, o que tornou a estadia bastante agradável. As instalações são muito bonitas, no entanto considero que a manutenção e a limpeza poderiam ser melhoradas. Tratando-se de um hotel de cinco estrelas, esperava um nível de cuidado mais elevado, nomeadamente nos espaços comuns e nas piscinas. Nesse aspeto, não senti que estivesse totalmente ao nível de outras experiências que já tive.
- Jennifer (8/5): We liked the location rooms and amenities very much, staff very nice - very helpful , - The restaurant !! So disappointing ! Food was not delicious and poorly seasoned ; appetizers came out at different times. Our table was left covered in mess and crumbs from an appetizer pizza for the entire meal . We had to pour our own wine and never had a refill of water glasses. Lastly our dessert was ordered and took 25 minutes to arrive . It was ridiculous . We later learned one of the items took longer but that should have been advised . Service was very weak for such a high end property, at breakfast we ordered a coffee that took ten minutes and a second never arrived . The property is stunning and the restaurant brings it down .

Modriger/muffeliger Geruch (viel zu viel Feuchtigkeit) im Zimmer - kann Fenster zum Lüften nur einen kleinen Spalt öffnen, Teppichboden :( statt wischbarer Boden. Preis-Leistung im Restaurant (abends) als auch für Massagen stimmt nicht. Viel zu teuer. Zweimal am Tag Room-Service nicht nötig - eher lästig. Zumindest abfragen, wer das überhaupt will/braucht.

- Rita (9/5): Fim de semana de chuva muito agradável - O pequeno almoço é muito variado e os produtos com boa qualidade. As piscinas interiores e exteriores são muito boas, estava a chover e passamos umas horas muito relaxantes com as aguas quentes. O jantar estava muito bom. Tanto on-line como ao telefone tinha referido o tipo de camas para os três quartos reservados, mas num dos quartos em vez de duas camas individuais tinha uma cama de casal. Mas a estadia correu muito bem.

- Sofia (9/5): - Para além do berço que foi pedido o quarto estava equipado com muda fraldas, banheira para o bebé e ele ainda teve direito a um miminho! Como fomos festejar um aniversário, tivemos direito a um bolo. Tivemos o azar de apanhar a piscina em manutenção nas duas manhãs da nossa estadia. Percebemos que o espaço necessita de manutenção, mas talvez fosse de repensar o horário em que a mesma é feita.

- Olena (10/5): - This hotel is absolutely outstanding and fully deserves five stars. Everything here is on an exceptional level. The thermal pools are simply breathtaking, the restaurant is beautiful, and the breakfast is outstanding. The rooms are elegant and very comfortable. Every detail feels carefully thought through. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels on the island.

- Eva (8/5): - Beautiful hotel with a superb empleyees, especially Bianca and Rodrigo. The beds were obviously used many times before and I was sleeping in a hole the while time. Also, the hotel says they have a smart tv, but nothing worked properly- netflix, youtube, screen mirroring. Eventhough we announced it many times, noone repaired it.

AS comodidades para o cliente são excelentes, desde o robe, aos chinelos e todos os ameneties. Adorámos o rádio! E a surpresa do champanhe no quarto foi muito agradável. A piscina interior e exterior são muito boas, foi muito bom em dia de chuva disfrutar de todas as águas quentes. Comemos muito bem no restaurante e o pequenos almoço foi bom e diversificado.

- Raquel Abrunhosa (7/5): - Hotel muito agradável e bem conseguido, boa localização, com tudo perto e de fácil deslocação. Piscinas com água termal. Quartos aconchegantes. Bom pequeno-almoço. Restaurante muito fraco e onde se nota a inexperiência dos funcionários, não condiz com os preços que se praticam. Não aconselho a quem visita a zona das furnas, os restaurantes nas proximidades são de categoria superior e a metade do preço. Nota acerca do pequeno-almoço: Estou grávida e tive bastante dificuldade em perceber quais os queijos que podia ou não comer, não estavam rotulados e os funcionários não sabiam o que continham, uns diziam que eram pasteurizados, o funcionário seguinte já dizia que não. A piscina, apesar de agradável, não tem qualquer tipo de música ambiente, falta isso. A zona das espreguiçadeiras na parte de dentro, tem pouca luz e torna-se fria e desconfortável para quem não quer estar todo o tempo na água.

Staff very friendly and helpful too Not that I am against the fact that guests can bring dogs, but please make sure they are on a lead at all times when in common areas such as the restaurant or bar. I love dogs and am very comfortable around them. However, I noticed that some people were not very happy when a little poodle was barking at a child. Unfortunately, the owner did not seem bothered about calming the dog down or picking it up. I would simply advise reviewing the dog policy and adding the classic lead rule 🙂

- Yang (3/5): Not Worth the Money. - Staff all very nice Not worth the money paid: 1) Room is wet with mold, smells bad; 2) the so called hot spring water spa is just a pool, no natural garden around. You should stay other places 2-3x cheaper without the spa and just go visit the public spa nearby which are all nice; 3) Huge cockroaches everywhere. One dropped from ceiling right into our food plate in restaurant during dinner; 4) While people are very nice, but the service is lack of standard, not align with what you paid for. A d=simple dinner took us 3.5 hours. They also kept forgetting our orders.

- jeanne (9/5): Beautiful stay. Relaxing pools - Beautiful property. I think I liked the pools the best -- one indoor and one outdoor pool. Very warm and soothing. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The room we had was quite small and felt a bit cave-like - likely given the dark paint color, window treatments, and the bulky furniture which made it feel smaller. Some of the retro decor seemed a bit much. But this may be my personal preference on decor.
