Marilyn (10/5): - Great location for us at the horse show. The place has been remodeled and it was nice. Breakfast room was fine but there was not variations each day. I did not care for the protein portion of the meal but everyone else was happy with me. Nice and clean, great service, and friendly atmosphere!

There was dried boogers on the wall, paint ripped from the wall, and missed food trash on the floor from before. Cleaning could’ve been more of a priority.

For us not a good place but in this town if ya want a pool and a place to sleep i am sure other rooms are ok
Melissa (6/5): Great place - The stay was great really dont have anything bad about the place to say as everyone was kind and the rest of the place was great looking including the pool area was clean . It was just our room we had problems with but I'm sure they probably would of changed us rooms if I would of asked them too. but we was to tired to switch rooms after driving 12hours to get there and had already brought all our stuff in the room . So I didn't ask for another room .. the toilet was broke but my husband fixed it a couple times . The ac wasnt cold so it was hot in there . We did have blood on the sheets but they did apologize for it and gave me new one's.. the bed was very hard wasn't comfortable... but besides all that it was a amazing stay and ejoyed our time there. We will definitely book again but will ask for a better room next time ...

April (2/5): - I called the day of to see about possible cancelation. The person i spoke to advised they didn't think they could but would ask the manager and call me back. I never received a call back, but they did charge my card on file at 10am and checkin wasn't until the afternoon. Apparently that meant no on the cancelation but to charge the card before check-in was even allowed without notice was crappy service.

CHRISTINE (6/5): Needs some repairs - Early checkin came at a price. Although the room was ready and did not seem to put anyone out. The fridge was not on and had to wait for it to cool. The reason it only gets a 3 star is the front door would not close and lock properly and the bathroom door was not able to close as the toilet was in the way! It was ok as far as clean. Bathtub water was running and did not shut off all the way. Bed was ok, It was not too noisy. It suited our 1 night stay but I would have asked to move if it were longer. The grounds looked good and I did not feel unsafe as someone had reviewed earlier.

I had a lot of pain on my first night stay. They said they could not give me a ground level room. I am not sure that was true, and no one offered to help with my luggage.

Verified traveler (6/5): 3 out of 5 - In for the Strolling Jim 40 miler. The lights at check-in are literally aimed in your eyes. They need to adjust those. That was painful. The check in person was not rude but not welcoming. I asked for a high floor away from elevator and ice machines but I don't think it was either put through or he ignored it. I asked to be away from the pool at least and he put us on the ground floor but it was away from the pool. We had a biker group near our room that stayed up late, and was very loud right outside our door. That didn't help. The room was average. An outlet and therefore the lamp and clock wasn't working, the bathroom was not horrible, the soaps were very low quality and smelled odd to us. We had brought our own in case so it was ok because of that. The toilet flushed, hot water worked, tv worked, mini-fridge worked, beds seemed clean so all the essentials were checked off. I'd stay somewhere else next time, though. This photo is not what the place looks like. The building is a lot darker and older than the editing.

Christopher (10/5): Best Western in Shelbyville, TN - The stay was nice, the indoor pool was actually the best part because it was warm enough for the kids to swim unlike a lot of the other indoor pools at other hotels. The beds were a little hard but all in all we would stay here again.
Olivia (4/5): - After checkimg in, we went to our room and our heat wouldnt work. Went to office and another person was waiting in front of me and came to find out they double booked us for the same room. Told them our heat didnt work and they moved us to a suite. The suite had holes in the wall and the trim was falling off around door frames. The closet door was off the track and just leaning in the closet. The fridge had knuckle prints all over it and there were burns on different surfaces. Was very noisy outside
Kindra (10/5): Weekend Family Trip - My family was in town for a football tournament. Our room was clean and somewhat up to date. The staff was very friendly which was so appreciated since other hotels we’d stayed in during our football tournaments in the past weren’t so great. The breakfast was hot and decent. The pool is a great additional for the kids during down time. If ever in the area again, we’d definitely stay again.
