- TwinCreek (8/5): Ended up better than we initially thought - After a 9-hour drive we stopped at this hotel and expected the same quality we met at the Best Western Delta in Effingham, IL., but later learned each BW may be set up differently. Our double queen room was quite spacious and clean, but mattresses were not as comfortable as Effingham. More firm v softer. The thermostat is not visible on the wall mount. It’s on the actual a/c unit. Took a little time to figure that out. There was no remote in our room so we suggested to the newly hired reception clerk to grab one from another room, which worked. Lady in breakfast area at 7:00 and morning-shift managers were extremely cheerful, inviting, and courteous. We left a tip for the breakfast lady. Initially we thought maybe not the best choice of hotel, but changed our mind at the end of our stay. Plus, $119 is a darned good deal. ,

They bent over backwards to make sure all of our needs were meant from putting together gift bags to handing them out to the guest when they arrived. The breakfast was very good and actually better than what I expected Nothing at least nothing that they could control lol

- Beverly (5/5): Passable - The lady that took care of the breakfast area was very nice. 10 out of 10. Was given room # 303. Walked in and it was very cold that the curtains were blowing in the breeze. I walked over to check the window, and it was closed but air was rushing in. I thought it was the HVAC unit so i tried to turn it off, and it was already off. The unit itself was moving back and forth, and I could see light from outside from the unit not being connected property. I called down and told them what the issue was, and I would need another room. I went down and they made me accompany them back to the room to verify there was a problem. I was offended to think I was to dim to realize there was a problem and the gal that went up there tried to push the unit in place and acted like this was normal. After I told her she would get me another room, or she would not like the outcome. I got another room when she told the manager I was right.

The faucets were loose on the sinks and jacuzzi tub. The last time I stayed in this room the refrigerator did not work at all. This time the freezer worked but the refrigerator did not work. The floor needed to be mopped.

Some of the reviews we had seen were not great, but our experience was great! The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable . The breakfast was solid, normal hotel breakfast fare, included fresh fruit and different hot options each day we were there, along with what appeared to be local made pastries. The staff was very polite , accommodating and friendly!

The rooms were very nice and seemed to be recently updated. Didn’t appreciate that I paid extra for a room that looked nothing like the photos. No couch and a smaller kitchenette area. Also the air conditioner was leaking or giving off condensation which got all over the room.

When complained, they said maintenance could not be there until 11:30 pm and they could not move to another room. No carpeting at all on 1st floor hallway, bare concrete. Carpeting on other floors was filthy and had been pulled up along edges. Walls were half painted. Computers down Sat. morning and could not furnish receipts. 4th floor was promised a substantial discount because of no A/C but we have no receipt to to show that. We should have been told about the work being done there. The 2 rooms on the 3rd floor had A/C but you could not get it below 73. Was very uncomfortable. The beds were horrible. Hard and slanted on each side. Had a hump in the middle. All 3 of our parties complained. VERY DISSAPPOINTED!!!!

Denise at checkout was very nice. Bed was comfortable The checkin area was a little dated. The bottom floor hallway had no carpeting . Not sure if it was being remodeled or what was going on

- Jenna (3/5): my room needed to be cleaned - good location when we got into the room all the towels were dirty and one of the beds was not made so the room had not been cleaned at all from the people who stayed before us. When we told the staff member she said “wow i’m surprised y’all aren’t bitching”. So they did nothing about it.

- Sierra (6/5): - While I know the current building and property was under construction, there were a few things that were either broke or didn't work in the room. The curtains wouldn't close all of the way, the door to the shower would not close all of the way and water kept leaking onto the floor, the toilet paper roll holder was broken.

- Wendell (2/5): Bad Stay - We booked a jetted hot tub and was given a reg room and went down to ask why and if we can get the room we had booked in the first place and we could have but the tv didn’t work in it. Failed to notify us of this issue and no discount. Hotel was a wreck due to remodeling. No service at front desk had to wait 10 mins bc she was off cleaning
- Donna (2/5): - They we’re remodeling the entire hotel it was a mess the plumbing wasn’t very good the ac quit in our room so we had to pack up everything and move to a different room the pool smelled of chlorine and the halls spelled of paint .

- sherry132023 (10/5): Best Western in Cushing OK - This was the second year we stayed at this Best Western. The service was excellent, the breakfasts were good and well presented. The people that work at the desk were friendly, and very helpful. They were quick to respond to questions, and always had a friendly smile. We go to Cushing every year about this same time, and Best Western will be our hotel of choice.
- Joanna (10/5): Great staff, value and comfortable rooms! - Staff are amazingly kind and great to have around. The rooms are clean. We stayed for a week. The continental breakfast was yummy. We switched from room 303 to 203 because the TV didn’t work. The fridge in 203 was making really loud noises but seemed to work ok after unplugging it and restarting it. They really need more lighting in the bathroom. The only light in both bathrooms/rooms was the shower vent light, not idea for women trying to do their hair or makeup. Lots of construction going on since they’re doing their remodel but it is wasn’t noisy at all, the only thing I noticed was the smell of paint.

- Kristen (10/5): Lovely place - Very clean and comfortable. Convenient location, but right on Main Street and felt like there were some loud vehicles “cruising main” on Saturday night. But, I slept well regardless.
