PEIYI (10/5): Clean, comfortable, and worth the stay. - The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It looks like it has been recently renovated, so everything felt fresh and well maintained. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. No major issues during my stay. Overall experience was good.

I was here for a family event and was able to continue to do my work in a quite room A++ The bed was very comfortable. The shower had the right amount of pressure. I really enjoyed the onsite eatery. Great portions and great value. I absolutely loved the sitting areas out side the room so that I could enjoy the courtyard and the water feature in the center of the hotel. Very warm and welcoming. So much so I took pictures of the courtyard and suggested my Uncle stay when he came to the area a mere 4 days later.

rucker (6/5): - The room was clean and Bed was comfortable and close to the memorial services we were attending. The front Desk staff was polite and considerate of all our needs. The sink in the kitchenette the cold water did not work, Bathroom toilet tank was leaking, Closet door in bedroom were not on the tracks correctly hard to open and close felt like they were going to fall off track. Refrigerator was rocking back and fourth when we opened the door. We reported these things to the front desk upon our departure.

Helen (8/5): - The room was clean, and we ate both lunch and dinner there. The burger was delicious but the Mexican food, tacos, quesadilla, and nachos were excellent. It seemed the staff were not very happy. The lounge staffer was not friendly at all. As an older adult, I’m used to good helpful customer service. No eye contact or I don’t appreciate a simple “no.” When asking a question. My husband and I are back next week, we will see if things are better.

Spa could be a little warmer, and the place is getting a little dated but has everything you need with a separate sitting area in the room and the bathroom is outside the bedroom. Plenty of parking and food was good

If you want something to eat you need to order from the bar. But the food isn’t very good . Taco Bell and Subway is you’re better option and it’s directly across the street the subway and right next-door is Taco Bell..

Rosmary (4/5): - The property is out dated. We had to move from the first room we had because the air conditioner was broke. The restaurant on the property was pricey, only one waitress, and it was dirty.
rebecca a (8/5): Cute place I’d like to return to. - While the lobby and interior was dated, the room was clean and updated and very comfortable. The WiFi was down due to the recent fires however the staff were friendly and able to check us in so it was quicker on our return.
Randy (9/5): Very pleased with this hotel! Had a great time and would highly recommend! - Really liked the location and all the amenities it had to offer. Had a great little bar inside that was very convenient. Nice restaurant for breakfast also! Inside the hotel was quite beautiful. It has a really cool inside courtyard that goes all the way up to the roof with nice big beams spanning across. Very cool. Not that I "didn't like" it ... but just for your information, its not a new hotel. The carpets throughout are not dirty for say ... but just an older style that looks like it could be getting close to end of life. Carpets were clean though! Everyone works really hard there and you can tell.
gloriab744 (10/5): Best Western El Grande awesome stay - Restaurant was excellent, offering 3 meals a day, and an open bar. The hotel is a stroll away from RedBud park and the lake. The room was all in great working order and the staff was helpful and friendly. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the rooms.

This place was filthy, smelled horribly of cigarettes, beds were dingy, the swimming pool looked as if you would come out with an STD, as soon as we drove in to the parking lot we were greeted with an individual and her thong exposed so badly her whole rear was showing to the right of the front entrance and she seemed to be hired to paint something or maybe it was her own self created project. No security, people wandering around inside the premises looking to score a bag of dope! Overall this place is CREEPY. DIRTY and felt like an abandoned funeral home/meth lab!!!

Louise (8/5): The hotel was a pleasant oasis in an awful location - The rooms were really comfortable and spacious and everyone at the hotel was very welcoming. There was an extensive breakfast menu available. Clearlake as a location was not at all what we expected. It is really run down and the lake smells bad. Logistically it was a good stop off place for us on our trip and the hotel itself was lovely.
Charlie (9/5): Not great through no fault of the hotel - Excellent facility, but a noisy, obnoxious group of guests in the room next to ours started partying loudly at 5:45 am and ruined our stay. Not the hotel’s fault; awful behavior by that group of guests.
V8726IJstevenr (2/5): Horrible. Don’t stay. - This place is probably the worst best western I’ve ever been in. Got to my room it smelled like the ground was went didn’t realize it was until I stepped out of the shower and the carpet by the fridge was completely wet had to shower again because it felt disgusting. Went into the bed room laid down and noticed a crawling feeling and realized there was ants on the bed as well as all over the room and bathroom. This place is disgusting I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Hannah (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were friendly and polite. We checked in late in around 9:30pm There were alot of ants behind the bed, that made their way into the bathroom. Behind the Bedside tables could do with a dust. The other room we had was great, no problem with ants at all. The shower pressure was terrible

Micaela (2/5): - Dirty, old, spiders, restaurant did not have any fruits at all for breakfast, outside the property looks abandoned, the wooden beams inside the lobby are beautiful but so dusty and with spider webs all over, our lake view room was a joke of view, not recommended at all. The only nice thing was the front desk lady good service, she was very kind.
Michael (7/5): For our needs it worked well. But at 190$ a night for 30$ more you could stay at Embassy suites. Their sweets are much b - Staff was friendly, room was clean There wasn’t anything major wrong with it. It’s just dated. When we went to fold out the couch bed, one of the couch cushions the zipper was broke and you could see the Styrofoam inside.. The shower curtain had tears all along the top in between the rings.
Amy (4/5): Will debate whether we stay there again. - Location was great for our needs. The bathroom really needed work, actually surprised this room was not closed. Toilet water ran, bathtub faucet was about 1” disconnected, but still worked! You have to close the bathroom door to get into the shower. We’ve been there before and was nice, I did report this when we checked out.

Kricket (4/5): Restful stay was appreciated - Location, enclosed, what it had to offer Bed was lumpy, bathroom hair dryer did not work, minor ant problem, ice machine on our floor did not work, pool was down, flies at back entry
Ashleigh (2/5): Horrible - The size of the room That fact that there was bugs in the room and hallways and that the bed has dirt on it and in the sheets soon as we got there , the couch was ripped

Katrina (3/5): Horrible - The inside atrium was beautiful! Hot tub was cold, hard plastic tag under my head, bathroom faucet broken and pulled out from the wall. Toilet handle broken! Got something from the vending machine and it didn’t drop the product. Drug addicts asking me for money if I went to my car. Noise most of the night! I will never stay here again!

58doml (6/5): Good size rooms, friendly staff, hot water was nonexistent - Rooms were large and comfortable. Well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee pot. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers were included in the shower, but no lotion or moisturizer in the bathroom. Checked in at 6:40pm but the restaurant was closed. Came back after dinner in town to grab a drink but the bar/lounge was closed (it was 9pm). Huh?? Did not use the pool. The hotel on the inside looks like a little outdated, but it was quaint in that 70s vibe so that was fine. The biggest issue was the hot water. There was none. Shower (and sink) water was lukewarm at best. Not very relaxing at the end of a hard day to come back to a hotel and take a cold/lukewarm shower. I recommended and brought 8 other other guests with my group (6 rooms total) and it was really embarrassing during breakfast the next day when all my friends complained about the hot water. No other hotels in this area so it might be your only option.
