Book 3rd party so no transaction other than lisc and cc to file, assign room, load key cards and off to our room. Less than 5 min! While this is a motel (parking at the door to your room, the updates inside made it feel like a nice hotel. The pictures in the reviews really are what you get! Would stay again.

The handicap room had the bed pushed against the wall and made it difficult for both people to get in and out of the bed. It has been remodeled but is so noisy. Our bed vibrated every time someone went up and down the stairs. Not a great sleep. No protein at breakfast.
- Linda (10/5): - This hotel is clean and the rooms are beautifully designed. It is convenient to restaurants and the I5 freeway but the flip side is that there is loud freeway noise. The temperature control in the room was not intuitive to run but we finally figured it out.

- David (8/5): - Motel is conveniently located next to Highway I-5 which makes for easy access. The main downfalls were the bright exterior walkway lights that were on all night. The shades need to be replaced with darkening ones or curtains. The oversized televisor either needs to be replaced with a smaller one of else install a larger bracket. I had to watch TV at an angle.

- Michelle (10/5): - Well, the outside doesn’t look exciting. What is exciting is the incredible upgrades and improvements in the rooms. It looks to have been remodeled very recently with extremely comfortable beds, bedding, soft towels, and huge TVs. This is definitely one of those times that you should not judge a book by its cover not to say the outside is gross or disgusting in anyway it’s just very simple and understated. Extremely friendly staff as well.

- Qasim (10/5): - I stayed one night at Clarion Pointe in Mount Vernon and had a great experience. The room was very spacious, clean, and affordable—perfect for a quick overnight stay. Check-in was super easy, even though I arrived around midnight after taking the ferry from Orcas Island to Anacortes. I had a 2-hour drive to the airport the next morning, and this stay made everything much more relaxing. Would definitely stay here again when passing through!

- james (6/5): - This facility was convenient for a San Juan Islands ferry trip. Overall the hotel is clean and well kept up. However the first night we stayed the bathroom sink was totally stopped up: would not drain at all. A week later when we stayed we were in a different room, whose only problem was the bedside clock, permanently set an hour early. Nothing we tried would correct it! We were disappointed with the breakfast; the only protein available was peanut butter, cream cheese, or yogurt. All other offerings were carbohydrates.

It was beautiful and updated. We loved having a sofa, too. Our only complaint was the bright light outside our window. There wasn’t a black out curtain, only a shade so our room was pretty light all night.
- Paula (10/5): Brand new! Fresh! - Don't let this style of "motel" deter you from booking! Brand new remodel, new owners, fresh bright, clean. And I mean, really clean, not just a fresh coat of paint to hide old smells! I'm fairly picky and was pleasantly surprised!

The fenced doggy area was very nice to have and it had green turf, so clean up was very easy. Only things that we'd change, is putting microwaves in each room and having ice machines closer.

Towels were stocked and clean at poolside, water clear and not over chlorinated. Breakfast choices included yogurt, instant oatmeal, bagels, toast, donuts, waffles, and toppings. (Probably cereal too, but didn't notice.) Negatives - No knives at breakfast. Super difficult to spread butter. Biggest complaint was the lighting outside the room. Couldn't find a switch to turn it off. Great black out curtains on the back side of the room, but the light on the front side illuminated the whole room and made it difficult to sleep. Bring your sleeping mask!

With the pricing, we weren’t sure what we were gonna get but upon arrival, the front entry was immaculately clean and service was impeccable. Owns themselves were beautifully remodeled and had plenty of space for family of four. We loved the fact that there was an outdoor patio and that we could keep our windows open through the night. Unfortunately, it was too cold to swim, but had that been an option we would have utilized the pool. Overall, if you’re looking for a great hotel that is nearby Cascade national Park check this one out you won’t regret it.

They began putting everything away at 8:45. This seems like an ungracious way to treat guests.

We had a nice ground floor room with a view of the pool, even though the pool wasn't open the end of June. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. We were enjoying ourselves until some stranger opened our door! They had given our room key to another customer, it was very violating and we felt unsafe the rest of the night. We had to sleep with a chair against the door. It was reported to the staff, and they did apologize, but I just would not go there again. They should be able to keep track of which rooms are occupied and which ones are not.

- Jill (10/5): - The motel has been completely renovated recently. Everything is new and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The person at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. My only critique would be that the breakfast, which is advertised as "hot" isn't really a hot breakfast, unless toasted bagels counts as a hot breakfast. Otherwise, the place was great for the price and convenient to Mount Vernon.
