But next time, please place people at leas - I liked the fact that we were left alone, except for the people that were staying right next to us. They had a pet dog and it kept barking sometimes. Plus it felt like we couldn't have our own privacy. Because they were right next to us, not to mention that everytime I would go outside to smoke a cigarette. I felt like they were watching me. Ugh Same

It was spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. However the bathroom could use updating - tub and its plumbing should be replaced. Floors should be replaced and some tile and paint updates.

• Wendy (5/5): Okay for a night, but would stay somewhere else next time. - It was convenient for our needs. People/staff were friendly. We were able to bring our dog, which was the reason we chose this property. Needs major renovations. The small section of wood floor was cracked and had a soft spot. The flooring in the bathroom was abysmal. The “trim” between the walls and floor is coming apart and completely off the wall in some spots, and quite frankly just disgusting. And when we turned on the shower, the water was brown for a while. We were charged extra per night to have our dog, which should just be included in the price, in my opinion. And it took forever for the room to cool with the air conditioner set to the lowest temperature with the highest fan setting. Lots of things need to be replaced/upgraded.

• Elizabeth (5/5): It was fairly inexpensive to stay there but would not go back - Extremely convenient to Rt 80, right near the on/off ramps which was great because we were driving cross country. The lobby was clean and modern and looked recently renovated. The room was in need of a paint job. The bathroom door was broken at the bottom and would not close and the bathroom was in need a deep clean- the grout was stained and the caulking was either dirty or stained The mattress was stained on the side which we didn’t notice until the morning. We turned on the very old AC unit and it smelled very musty

There is likely lots of dust flying around as well. Breakfast was minimal, not really worth checking out. Bed comfort and pillows leave a little to be desired. But it works for a night or two.

I am not asking for the Ritz but I do want my room to be clean and safe. The bathroom had mildew and calcium along the tub, stained toilet bowl, shower curtain would not stay closed, dirty wall, baseboards in bathroom, no pad and pen to write, dirty desk chair. We did not sit in the comfort chair provided. The cost of the room was higher than what I booked thru booking.com which I was told that was on Booking com as they say what we pay. My fault is not checking on the price charged after I booked. I never thought I would be hood-winked in this manner. Two different prices and neither what was on the website when I booked this trip. I am on a budget and had this planned out. Lastly an act of nature got blood on the sheet. We reported this before leaving on our last day. We DID NOT skip out without making the motel aware of this. and yet, we were charged and extra $100 for sheets that had to be washed anyway. I WILL NOT be staying here again nor book thru booking.com. If anyone ask I will spread the word. While I was there, I thought things went well, except I wanted a place to be cleaner. Prompt , professional service at check in; she was very knowledgeable and friendly, made sure we had everything we needed. I travel frequently, and am very impressed with the room cleanliness. Our suite was spacious enough to travel with our daughter, and accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, and love having coffee available in lobby 24/7. We look forward to coming back for next year’s event !
• Anthony (10/5): I come to Wauseon every year. I always want to stay at this hotel. I want the same room next time. - Breakfast was great. Staff was EXTREMELY courteous and helpful. Location relevant to the fairgrounds was perfect. The shower curtain rod is sagging which makes it difficult to keep the curtain closed while showering. I own rentals myself and know how this can contribute to water damage over time. It wouldn't take much to fix this.

• Ron (8/5): Clean and Comfortable for the Price - Perfect for a budget friendly overnight stay on a road trip. Travelers who are sensitive to cigarette smoke should know that the shared "porch" outside of each room door comes with chairs and ashtrays directly in front of each room. A great place for smokers and it doesn't bother me. I'd stay here again for a cheap, clean and safe overnight stay.

• Talbott (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! - Do NOT stay here!! My nephew and I came home covered in bed bug bites, as well as an actual bug with us. I contacted the property, they took no accountability, in fact made it seem as it was me that did this. I had to drive home 9 hours miserable from itching. I had a virtual doctors visit where it was verified that it was in fact bed bug bites. I have attached a couple of the photos of our bites, and a screenshot from the doctor's visit. I have been working with Booking.com to hopefully help with this situation so I do not have to seek legal assistance. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

My bathroom was very outdated, toilet was insanely low to the ground and I'm a short woman, and there were dead bugs on the floor.

• cathy423 (8/5): Clean, quiet, and easy to find. - This is an old-style hotel, where all rooms are at ground level and you can park right in front of your room. The location was easy to find, as it was right off the interstate ramp. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable and clean. There is an outdoor pool that we didn't use, but it appeared inviting and well-maintained. On the downside, the bathroom was small and had some wear showing around the bottom of the tub. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, but it was clean and the fixtures all worked well. The air conditioner fan was a bit loud when it kicked on. Despite this, the overall hotel area was quiet, and we got a good night's sleep. The breakfast wqs good and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again.
