• Kell (2/5): Overbooked due to booking.com website and hotel esgablishment lack of communication. - The workers were working hard to get the busy weekend efficient, but along with problems from either communication efforts from booking.com to the hotel got chaged up or a possible computer error made it to where the hotel had overbooked, but without the workers that had experience we would of been without a room last night. So I liked the hotel staff some were not trained or had certain tools to be able to efficiently make the stay easy on them and for my party was clearly observed and noticeable. The overbooking is a problem. I had made reservations well before in advance of our stay for May 8th, which I found strange because we had friends that stayed last night as well in a different room and they had no problem with getting a room and their reservations were made after ours. So I dont understand how or why our stay was overbooked and had to wait an extra 45 minutes after the 3 pm check in and still our room hadnt even been cleaned by the staff yet. How does this happen? I would like a refund on my stay it was not easy and the fact that our room was not ready or clean by the time we were needing to check in was a inconvenience for us. I will not suggest to anyone using booking.com because I believe the communication between the site and physical hotel establishment is non existant. My point being is I tried to find a telephone number through the app to call for customer support on another issue with my account that still needs adressed, however there is no customer support telephone other than the hotel establishment to call which they cannot do anything on booking.com to help me.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and honored our request for a main floor room as we were traveling with a pet. Pet fee was reasonable and the hotel very pet friendly. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The following morning, breakfast was beyond disappointing. There was nothing available. Things were being brought out 1 item at a time with only 4-5 things of said item. With multiple families waiting we would have spent over an hour just trying to get a complete breakfast. The coffee machine as also not working. Upon realizing we were not going to get breakfast, we decided to checkout & go elsewhere. This was also another issue. There was no staff at the desk & we had to go into the kitchen to figure out how to appropriately checkpoint.

The mattress could have been a little firmer. The toilet had a small leak, and needs to be reset, either a new wax ring or a new plastic ring.

• DenelleK (2/5): You put a handicapped woman out in the cold !!!! - I don't even know where to begin. This hotel is being run with a skeleton staff. We stayed at the hotel on 11 NOV 2025. When I walked into the lobby to check in there was no one at the front desk. I am a handicapped lady who pushes an oxygen tank with me. I stood at the front desk for some amount of time, maybe five minutes, and wathched the only employee in the place, Frank, serving and talking to people at the bar at the other end of the big room. I decided I would walk down and ask him if there was anyone who could check me in. I walked down to the bar and he ignored me. Two men came in through the front door and he immediately left the bar and went to help them at the front desk. I walked back to the front desk and waited for him to finish helping the two men before I was aknowledged. I was then checked into a handicapped room that has a king bed and we stayed the night. The next morning at breakfast there was only one person working the entire room and front desk. He may have been cooking as well. We had breakfast and chatted with him a bit and then checked out and were on our way for our road trip. During the check out process we advised him we would be back on Thanksgiving on our way home. He looked up our reservation and made a note in it to put us back in the room we had on our first night there. When we returned on Thanksgiving, 27 NOV 2025, I again went to check in. This time there was no one anywhere to be found on the property to check us in. I started calling the local phone number for the hotel and did so maybe 30 times and no one ever answered. By this time, maybe twenty minutes later, I had been joined by three more parties also trying to check in. Finally, Frank arrives at the front desk. I thought what is it with this dude, never around when he should be minding the store. He checked us in and we went to our handicapped room, but it was not the same room we had the first night we were there, and now I know why the other employee had noted our file to give us the other room. This room has two double beds and is next door to the other handicap room. I believe they only have the two rooms for ADA people. Well this room was not acceptable in any way, and I believe the staff know it's not. There is litterally a half inch gap between the door and the door frame all the way from the top to the bottom of the door. It was cold that day. We tried the heater and it did not work, I left it on for twenty minutes and it never produced any warm air. We needed to do laundry on this evening and the machines were, you guessed it, "out of order". We then turned on the TV and found that it was not possible to get the volume louder so we could here it. That was the final straw. But the lack of heat and the lack of security and weatherstripping on the door were the biggest issues. We decided to not even unload the car at this point as I was not willing to freeze all night long. Went back to the front desk who offered to move us but did not have any other ADA rooms. We told them we could not stay and demanded a refund. Of course the clerk did not have the authority to make that happen and said we would have to talk to the owner. The owner is not concerned with taking care of his guests or property and is only in it to rip people off, handicapped people !! I left my name and phone number for him to call me the next day. Of course he did not call me and did not refund my money. When I got home I filed a complaint with the Best Western corporate headquarters. After about ten days I called them back to see what had happened with my claim. They said the hotel had tried to contact me, NO THEY DID NOT, and that they would not give me a refund because I had passed the cancellation period for the room. Well it's hard to cancel a day in advance when you can't see what a bad room you will be given. Don't stay here and take a chance on a bad room and bad service, and have no recourse to getting a refund. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A HANDICAPPED PERSON !!!!
• Pasha (7/5): Nice room, not great hospitable staff upon arrival - The location was easy to find and in a safe area. The room was nice and clean. The front desk clerk was not receptive. I called the property ahead of time and upon my arrival could not find anyone working the desk. I finally found her in the bar area, behind that counter. But I had walked in and around the lobby for several minutes before finding her. When she followed me to the desk she seemed unconcerned and annoyed that I needed help.

• W3133FCnataliem (6/5): Great for a one-night stopover! - We have stayed here multiple times and have usually had great stays and service. Since we needed to be traveling on Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to stay here and celebrate our Thanksgiving by renting a suite with a full kitchen. The hotel also advertises a laundry room which is necessary if traveling a long distance. The rooms are beautiful with great decor and solid wood furniture which is unusual for hotels these days! They advertise a full breakfast, but we did not utilize it. The kitchen had a stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave which is what we needed and a keurig coffee maker. However, the kitchen was not as helpful as we had hoped. No dish towel, no dish cloth, a very minimal amount of dish soap which was watered down and only enough to do one set of dishes, no potholders, so we had to use washcloths, a dirty sponge and green scrubby which was also soiled, a very, very small bathroom sized waste basket, and only two forks. Needless to say, Thanksgiving dinner was a challenge! Next, we had planned to do our laundry, but apparently after losing our money in a washer and going to the front desk we found out from the front desk the laundry room had been out of order for quite some time and that they needed new washers and dryers. There was not an out of order sign on any of the appliances except for one dryer. After our visit to the front desk, sometime later, there was an out of order sign on the laundry door. We were directed to a nearby laundromat which was helpful and were grateful we found this out because nothing would have been open Thanksgiving, so we managed to get clean clothes done for the rest of the trip. It was very quiet, we did not hear traffic or other guests. Great stop probably if just need a quick one night. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of shampoo, soap, and towels. We would suggest you plan accordingly if you rent one of the suites with a full kitchen and do not plan to do your laundry here.

Grounds were clean, workers friendly, housekeeping not only cleaned, but detailed! Made to order omelet for breakfast! All at a comparable price. I definitely recommend this motel, the staff goes above and beyond!

• Chris (3/5): Complete disappointment - The bed and bedding is always great When we arrived, 2 desk clerks were busy with the lady in front of us. We waited 20" to be waited on. Our room #140, had a steady dripping sound from the toilet. The shower was in the process of being repaired with blue tape on the ceiling in addition to a hole in the ceiling. The floors had warped and the boards popped whenever you stepped on them. We went to breakfast at 8am and 3 of the 4 beverage choices were "out of order," including the water! The pastries were almost gone, and the waffle maker was out of order. We tried to communicate to the 1 dining staff lady that we wanted eggs, but she just kept holding up an empty bowl that had had eggs in it and shrugged. We wanted to talk to a manager or desk clerk when we checked out, but the dining lady was the one at the desk. She doesn't speak English and evidently didn't understand it either, because she couldn't or wouldn't tell us how to get in touch with someone. We felt like we deserved a discount and wanted to negotiate that. When we left the hotel, we literally tried for an hour and a half to call, but... no answer. When someone did answer, she listened politely and kindly to our complaints, apologized and said either she or the manager would call us back shortly. That never happened. This is our 3rd or 4th trip to this hotel. We've driven out of our way to stay here, but never again!

• Amanda (10/5): Had an awesome stay - From check in to the moment we left, everything was awesome. Room was large and comfortable with ample space and storage. Breakfast was great with sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage, eggs, breakfast potatoes, waffles, cereal and more.
• Christie (2/5): - Used to be kinda a upscale place but has gone down hill. Used to have a really good breakfast with omlets etc no more. there were no coffee cups or sticks when i got there and hardly any food so didnt have Breakfast. Used to have a nice bar with nice munchies etc dont even have that anymore and that used to be packed with people at 5:00. A lady came in pissed while i was checking in complaining that her room was dirty and someone had been staying in it..Not good. So overall wont stay here again.

• Margaret (2/5): - Their policy regarding pets states : Pets accepted but when I arrived they would not allow me to stay because I had a cat . They do not accept cats but this was not stated in their policy . They told me they communicated this numerous times to Travelocity but to no avail . However, when I contacted Travelocity , they told me it was the responsibility of Best Western to communicate their correct policy on the website . Looks like there needs to be some quality control oversight here. Best Western didn’t charge me and suggested I stay at La Quinta Inn down the road , which accepts cats and dogs. Well, thankfully there was a room available at LaQuinta and I like it much better here, so ultimately it all worked out !
• David (6/5): - We stayed at the same hotel almost two years ago coming back from Las Vegas from the Blues Bender loved it.....this time it was just me coming back from AZ asked for a disability room which I paid for...Shower was not a roll in shower the room was very nice however the toilets are made for small people and there are no grab bars to hold onto when you try to stand up...I had just had knee replacement surgery and it was next to impossible to sit down on the toilet....I slept for a few hours then got up and left....nice hotel just not in the bathroom area... in the room I was in.....

• Gerard (1/5): Avoid at all cost - Location Mentioned to Patience at reception about the poor breakfast availability she shrugged it off saying there was food. I also mentioned a couple if bits about the room. Toilet seat broken, shower doors not closing and the general poor state of the bathroom all she did was tell me to leave as we’d checked out. I asked to speak to her manager but she refused to let me. All in all an appalling level of service. Especially as this was a BW Plus property.

Even when requested, they did not service our room; I had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper. Hotel rooms are dated, we do not recommend.

• Mary (2/5): - Check out is at 11:00 a.m. and three different times between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. the housekeeping staff pounded on our door. The second time this happened, the housekeeper pounded on the door and did not pause before slinging our door open. My girlfriend and I were both completely naked and exposed and in a very compromising position. Horrific and traumatic experience!

• Harjo (7/5): Nice facility but needs some work done on the room and someone needs to monitor the breakfast food line. - Clean, and comfortable staff was pleasant. Room door would not completely close, road noise was very loud. The only good part about breakfast was the coffee. There was nothing to eat except 1 sausage patty. I don’t eat pancakes or waffles that seems that was all available.
• Wade (10/5): - This little property is a very nice surprise! We stayed here on a quick overnight trip. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the property. Our room was spotless! The motel is old, but it has been remodeled and updated. The room was small but so cute. Although we didn’t use the pool, it looked to be clean and well-maintained. We had a good dinner in the restaurant and recommend other travelers take advantage of the on-site restaurant. There is a small bar open until about 10 p.m.—and they have a full bar selection and a number of specialty drinks. We had to leave very early in the morning and didn’t get to experience the breakfast offered. We absolutely recommend this hotel/motel to/through those traveling through Weatherford, OK!

• 302reginab (4/5): Room smeeled bad, - Room smelled when we first got there but not terrible. Later someone upstairs ran water and out room filled with sewer smell. It was very bad and strong. Lasted all night. Luckily we could shut bathroom door to contain. But still stunk next morning. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I read mixed reviews about smell. Unless they fix this problem. I would not recommend. I did mention it at check out and He wrote it down and said they would fix. Other than that the room was small but very clean and decorated nice. Bed was comfy. Breakfast closes early. All put away by 9:30.
• Q938OUkarenl (10/5): - From start to finish our experience was fabulous. The hotel is charmingly decorated in tasteful Southwest decor. It was spotlessly clean, the lobby, restaurant and room. Check in was courteous and efficient. The beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the little cozy bar and restaurant where the excellent service continued. Customer service was excellent across the board. We will stay here as often as we travel through the area.

• Globe650 (2/5): It’s gone downhill fast - We have stayed at this Best Western for many years. We have always enjoyed our stay. However, this past experience was most disappointing. The room, especially the bathroom, was not clean. We are accustomed to a great breakfast, but this has changed as well. No eggs, unless through special order (who has time for that), no yogurt, no fruit. All fat and carbs. We will not be returning nor will the couple who referred us there many years ago. Clean rooms and a decent healthy breakfast is not too much to ask for. The place seemed very low staffed, which May account for the change.

From the owners to the housekeeping staff EVERYONE is amazing. A huge shoutout to Maddy for going above and beyond for us. The food in the restaurant is top notch.
