Guest Reviews
- Marti (8/5): Nice enough stay, but pet fee too high - Terrific welcoming staff, nice room. Quiet location. Charging $25 for one pet is insane. We won't be back because of that. The place we stayed the next night had no pet fee.
- Captnboozey (4/5): - Had a problem with the TV. called the front desk and the attendant came to my room. Figured the problem & was able to fix it. The flap on the toilet wouldn’t seal, so it was constantly filling throughout the night. The door to the shower was difficult to open.
- Lynn (8/5): Met my needs - The location was convenient to my trip. You can easily walk into town The area was a bit sketchy. It was pricey for the location and amenities.
- Lennart (7/5): -
- Shanna (6/5): - Rooms were nice. There was no parking so we had to unload our truck on the street with our kids. The pictures are very deceptive. It wasn’t as nice as it is portrayed on the outside.
- chrissP294RF (10/5): Nice Place to Stay with a Large Dog - I stayed overnight with my three-legged, disabled German shepherd. The room was a bit tight for the both of us, but bed was nice, TV worked and had complimentary breakfast, which was good. The clerk in the office was very nice.
- Kate (10/5): Great stop over - The check in was easy and they were so friendly. It was stressful because we had to find a place to stay during a snow storm. The whole experience was reassuring and enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.
- Kimberly (4/5): -
- Sara (9/5): -
- Janice (9/5): Loved the outside patios in the shade. - NA NA
- Tim (5/5): - Based on previous ratings, and the price, I had expected more. The hotel room was dated and we found a beer can behind a chair. The A/C was also making loud sounds all night, which kept me up. Cleaner room. Please let the property know that when I went to more the chair that was by the window, there was a beer can under it. I have included pictures. I almost asked for a refund.
- Ronald (7/5): It was a very nice Inn. Would stay there again if I am back in the area. - Everything was good. Liked parking right outside your door. Breakfast was good. No complaints. Thank you. NA
- Roberta (8/5): - Cute little hotel with a good hot breakfast, room was clean and comfortable. Both morning and evening staff were friendly and polite. Was able to park right outside our room. I have no complaints.
- Frederick (10/5): - Clean, allows pets, friendly staff
- Irene (5/5): - The breakfast is always wonderful. I have used the Butch Cassidy Inn for many, many years. My stay on December 12th was the first time I was not satisfied. The room I stayed in (112) had peeling ceiling wallpaper in three different spots. The Kleenex box in the bathroom was broken off the wall which wouldn't be a big deal but no Kleenex was provided in the room. The shower still had the former visitor's soap on the floor and the drain was clogged with someone's beautiful long curly black hair. There was no tea by the coffee maker and when I asked at the office I was told that he didn't know where to get me any until morning.
- Voyage22586559520 (10/5): Great cozy hotel. - I really enjoyed my stay here. It was clean. The staff was really nice. The rooms were comfortable. The parking lot was well lit at night and felt safe. The hotel was next to some good restaurants. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
- Wilkins (10/5): Quiet and EnJoi able - The people and the cleanliness. Location was good and easy to find. Nothing that I can think of at this time.
- Sunshine61437997942 (4/5): More Like Worst Western... - This was a rough stay. There were some electrical problems in my room, it smelled bad (seemed to come from the mini-fridge), the shower was really small, and the bed uncomfortable. I ended up just leaving a day early and going to another hotel
- Anda (7/5): -
- Terri (6/5): -
- Doug (10/5): Great, as expected for Beaver - Location was great, we were unable to get there before 9am
- John (8/5): - Great staff, room okay,
- KaerukunZ (10/5): Quiet out of the way place full of nostalgia - This is a very old school look, with with a high class feel. The staff was very friendly,
the room was very clean, and the bed was one of the best that I have slept in a long time. The place is well taken care of and it shows. I will come back here if the road leads me that way again. Kudos!!!
- April (10/5): - Kind helpful staff. Clean room, convenient location, quiet. Comfortable.
- Eric (6/5): - Of the 4 locations I stayed, this was probably the nicest location for a place located in the middle of no where Utah. The only complaint was how tiny the shower was. It seemed well enough built internally and externally, the staff was prompt, the breakfast was a hotel breakfast. Nothing fancy across the board, but that's all a hotel is right? A place to stay for a night before heading to the next destination. Acceptable location to stay.
- POQA (2/5): WORST BEST WESTERN PLUS EXPERIENCE - THIS IS WORST BW+ EXPERIENCE. Room was dirty. Only one staff running entire hotel. They expected me to change bedding and clean room. No one answers phones on any extension. No staff present to prepare breakfast. Nothing offered to compensate.
- Sharyn (2/5): Not worth staying - Run down, mold in bathroom shower/tub. Peeling paint/plaster.
- Teresa (4/5): - Extraordinary high price for such a small , very old room
- Ted (8/5): - Great location in Beaver. The hotel has character and generally has been kept up over the years. Inn sent several text messages regarding booking and check in. Room was spacious with many lamps that have plugs at base, large closet, refrigerator (w/ freezer), desk and reading chair. Bathroom was bright and well layed out. Unfortunately, the sink p-trap was clogged (which I cleaned out). The king bed was comfortable but didn't have a top sheet. Buffet breakfast was great with many hot (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles) and cold selections, fruit, coffee and juice.
- Mike (10/5): - easy parking
- Deb (4/5): - The city was doing an electrical check and we were told by night clerk would only be an hour. Electricity went off at midnight and didn’t come back on until 5am. Room was hot and miserable packed up and left just as power was coming on and when checking our morning clerk said tests are always 4 to 6 hours long thank goodness no one needed cpac
- TREVOR (2/5): - The first room we got the smoke alarm was chirping, bathroom had hair and publics all over and hair on pillows. Was given another room and there was a used tube of toothpaste laying next to bed. Paying a $177 for a room is expensive and too expensive for dirty rooms
- Jason C. (10/5): - Professional, courteous
- Barnes (8/5): - It was right in the middle of town. Great staff and had a room the fit my whole family, 3 queen beds. The price was pretty steep for what was offered.
- Stewart (10/5): - Awesome place. Clean
- Nathan (6/5): - Property is very dated
- cheri (10/5): - It was the perfect spot for our weekend adventures
- Gerald (4/5): - It is very old and very expensive for some reason, don’t be fooled by pictures it’s not as it appears.
- Richard (2/5): - Room very small. Conditions were very dirty. Plaster coming off walls. Plugs for charging phones on lamps didn’t work. No plastic cover for ice container. Shower head loose coming out of wall. Dirty carpet. Dismal room. Would not have stayed there, but for having booked thru Expedia☹️
- Marco (8/5): Viaggio itinerante USA..Beaver tappa di passaggio per visitare Bryce Canyon - Discreta e familiare Niente da da eccepire
- Donna (6/5): - It was ok. Just not great
- Tyler (2/5): - Bed sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in a year, shower had mold/ floor boards were rotting/ mold growing behind paint causing it to peel.
- Josh (10/5): -
- Paula (8/5): - We checked in late and was able to get a downstairs room. Property and room were clean and quiet. would stay again.
- laura (10/5): - We were so pleased that it was very clean and freshly painted. Great value for the price
- GoPlaces08642039447 (10/5): Amazing Hotel! Clean, Cozy. And Quite - First off I want to mention how amazing the staff were! The person checking us in was extremely friendly, the rooms were clean and well maintained, we had our dog with us and the grass areas were perfect for him, excellent location. This hotel was cozy and clean and above all amazing. Would recommend to anyone I know to stay here.
- Julia (10/5): - A hidden gem off the interstate!
- Parker (8/5): Okay stay. Its out 3rd time there. I think we will try another hotel in Beaver next time. - There was no milk for breakfast. The staff did NOT get any milk when this problem was identified. The gravy WAS tasty. the facilities were clean. People smoking weed outside.
- Carol (5/5): Ok stay - It was kept up. Clean. Good beds.
Breakfast place were out of biscuits because they were too hard,
Need to get almond or oat milk for individuals needing to eat dairy free with the oatmeal and dry cereals. Read above.
The stay was not worth $150/night.
- Earlene (4/5): Unlikely to return - Mattress nearing end of life.
I dropped something on the floor. When I bent down to pick it up, all around the bed frame there was a thick layer of dust and crumbs. And there was a bottle cap, a broken piece of plastic, and a used Vape device.
The best things about the place were the fridge which kept my essential items cold, and the air-conditioning.
- Spencer (4/5): - $225 for an outdated room with no shampoo. A lingering smell in the room. Noisy outside in the common areas/ patios until after 11:30 with other guests drinking and taking loudly… grounds were clean but the rooms were not very clean. Extremely poor value for what we paid. $100 deposit on our card and takes a week or more to come off. Much Better values in town
- Dana (5/5): -
- Kenneth (10/5): - Great downtown location. Bathroom needed some work
- Lisa (10/5): - Clean rooms, pleasant atmosphere.
I will definitely stay here again when traveling through this area.
- Rosa (8/5): -
- Kendal (9/5): Superb -
- William (6/5): - Bathroom floors could be a little cleaner. They weren't bad, but could have been better.
- Lois (9/5): All in all, the room was great for our needs as overnight travelers! - Location and room set up! Breakfast meal was tasty. Breakfast area small and difficult to maneuver. Attendant not ready for number of people arriving for breakfast.
- Bri (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was great. We were so grateful that they did an early breakfast for the racers. Sara was so kind, and the food was delicious. The room definitely could use a deep clean.
- paulmK6272SH (2/5): Don't judge all Best Western sites by the low quality of this one! - They used queen sheets that didn't tuck in on a king bed so when I moved, all the sheets moved. The fridge was not functioning and placed with hinderences to even get the door open. Bath had some mold. In general, did not present a welcoming experience. I have stayed at many Best Western site, with great experiences. Not the experience here. If this was my first stay at a BW inn, I would certianly cross the brand off my list of choices.
- Mark (8/5): Nice motel at a good price just need clean up the dog hair. - The staff was freindly and the price was good. The room could have been cleaned better. There was a lot of dog hair all around the room, I was wearing a bvlack shirt and after sitting in the chair my back wa covered with white dog hair.
- Dream24888742468 (2/5): Never again - The refrigerator didn’t work; moldy smell. Top sheet was missing on one of the beds, hair on the other sheets; looked like the beds had been slept in. When informing the clerk about the bed without the top sheet she said the beds were all that way. The clerk offered to move us but there were contractors staying long-term at the hotel. Very noisy and they were outside their rooms smoking/vaping and cursing. Our room was located away from them so we stuck it out for the night. Will never use that hotel again.
- ReJeana (8/5): - Comfortable, older but clean.
- Diane (10/5): Great place for my race! - The people will really friendly. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable, I slept great.
- Edward (6/5): - Clean room, good breakfast
- Markos (4/5): Disappointing - Good location Shower was dirty and clogged.
The carpets very old and in need of either replacing or very good cleaning.
- Valerie (10/5): - Pet friendly
- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant -
- Claudia (10/5): - The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the two bedrooms as it was my Sister and I with our dogs
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Jeanna (10/5): - Nice place for one night
- John or Arlene (10/5): - One of the top 3 motels in this area! Newly remodeled and very clean. The reception front desk staff very friendly and nice.
- Joni (5/5): Passable -
- Sibharr (9/5): Superb -
- Madelyn (8/5): - Visited national parks.
- Wayne (6/5): - Pool was not in service. Just seemed a little run down.
- Dan (9/5): It was great up to the fall - The beds were amazing and the shower best in town There was a slip hazard as you left the dining room where there was no grip on the door step as you left. I slipped on a wet floor as I left the door and fell spilling all my drinks and injuring my left hip. We did not report this injury but probably should have as it could have an impact on my return to work following our holiday. It’s certainly hindered the rest of my holiday.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Carmen (4/5): - This is an old motel. For some reason someone is running it under the Best Western name. Other than the price and the fact that they do offer breakfast, there is nothing at a Best Western Standard.
- Theodore (4/5): - Dead ants on bathroom floor. Prepaid, was charged 133.88 for incidentals.
- Debbra (10/5): - We love this hotel!!! This was our first time staying here and we would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Beaver Utah. The room was clean and very comfortable. Love that there there two bedrooms!!!! Large bathroom. Everything we could need. They are pet friendly. Breakfast was great!! Best muffins I have had !!
We will definitely stay here again.
- Freda (10/5): - Have stayed at the Butch Cassidy Inn before and the staff is always friendly and helpful
- Michele (10/5): A great place to stay while traveling. - The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It was close to a few really good restaurants. Plenty of parking right in front of your door. A good place to stay! Nothing
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Joshua (10/5): - It was easy to just get in and get to bed after a long day
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Carol (10/5): - Perfect for quick overnight stay.
- Judith (9/5): Very good. I will stay again. - Clean, convenient, nice staff, I thought the “pet fee” was to high
- R1592INlisaa (2/5): Would not stay there again - Unprofessional staff & dirty room - At check in guy at the Front desk said the room was $169.93 but we would get a $50 discount because it was our 2nd night at a Best Western & the total would be $ 119.93 (which is the only reason we stayed there). We were given room 117 in the back building. When we got there the door was wide open with food & garbage streaming through the room & out the door. The front desk then gave us room 118. The room smelled awful, the carpet was not vacuumed, the toilet was not cleaned, the sheets were wrinkled and look like they were just thrown over the bed. At checkout my receipt showed my CC was charged $169.95. The girl at front desk said I would not get a discount. I disputed that & she wrote a note on my receipt saying I would get the discount & would be sent an email with a new receipt. The next day my online CC info showed a pending charge of $219.93. I called & the front desk guy told me the extra $100 was an incidental hold that would be credited in a couple days. 2 days later my card was charged $169.93 & I filed a CC dispute for the $50 discount I was not given. We've been traveling for 2 weeks & this was the worst lodging experience we've had.
- Warren (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (8/5): - This place was clean and quite. It is an older place with dated rooms but they were very clean and well maintained. breakfast was limited and the pool was closed.
- John (6/5): - The property was easy to locate and the parking was a breeze. The door to our room was damaged, and the bolt lock did not function. The bathroom was dirty, including the toilet.
- Katie (8/5): Spring break trip - Good heater (cold night), I liked the extra blanket, quiet (a few people there). Covered parking for the section I was in. Very comfortable bed, good tv. I liked the window you can open in the bathroom for fresh air. Good breakfast, clean dinning room. It was a little dirty - dusty and a couple of dead, small insects in the bathroom ( welcome to the country).
- John (8/5): - The air conditioning had a rattling sound. Staff was excellent!!
- L Tanya Self (10/5): Thee BEST, Best Western in Utah! - Beautiful, convenient, clean! Tyler at the front desk was extremely attentive, friendly and kind. Rooms clean and comfy and breakfast was great. The gal cooking and cleaning was doing an amazing job and was friendly too. Will stay here again if are ever this way again. Highly recommend.
- Gerard michael (2/5): - Room freezing . Heater doesn't work .
Tried calling front desk. No answer . Nowhere to leave message now 930pm 😨😵💫
Awful . And not as shown on website
- Laura (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was hard, dirty curtains, NOISY and out of date ventilation system - woke me up all night; big crack under the door letting in cold air; overpriced for this offering.
- Tami (5/5): Will try the other best western - Stickler to open time for breakfast- try offering fruit and grab snacks for those hitting the road at 4 or 5 It was fine, older building, attire was not as fresh looking as it could easily be
- M9612YQdavids (10/5): An Amazingly Accommodating place on short notice. - We had a last minute emergency stop and amazing they had 3 queen beds, which is exactly what our family needed! They were prompt and professional at the front desk and the room was clean and ready. The hot breakfast was delicious and well served by the staff. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.
