- Deborea (10/5): - I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room! I smelled fresh fragrance of a hint of bleach and shiny tiles on the floor indicating a clean floor. The air conditioning was very good. My room had 4 pillows on each bed which I use to prop my head for relaxation & a little TV watching. The room was especially safe for my handicapped husband as I had requested. The towels were adequately stocked for our 3day & 2 night stay. We love the fact of having a restaurant at the motel for easy meals. Breakfast in the morning & Great Coffee keeps us coming back. We will always stay here when we take time to visit family. Familiar faces at the Crossroads in Fort Dodge make this a special place to stay. Thank you for a clean room & stocked supplies in the room.

When I arrived, the cabins were not under construction. But, construction workers were staying there. I felt lied to. We won't go back.

- Robert (10/5): - This is a hidden gem. Beds were comfortable, rooms were nice. The pool area is enclosed in the center of the hotel & very nice. Mexican restaurant on-site was very good. Only issue was the a/c units didn’t seem to really circulate throughout the rooms & so we did have to buy a fan to get the room to a comfy temp.

O yeah did i mention they check someone else into our room at 3 am. Who then proceeded to come to the room and slam the door in an attempt to open it multiple times. Woke my entire family up. Positives were the mexican restruant was very good and their breakfast in the morning was pretty decent. Wont stay there again simply due to them basically allowing someone to nearly come into my room if it wernt for the extra lock on the door i would have been going to jail for beating up some intruder in the middle of the night.

- Lila PM (6/5): Very difficult to charge devices! - Check in was fine, but as soon as I got to the room, I found visible dirt and hairs on the top of the toilet tank. The rest of the room was clean, but it took FOUR outlets before I found one that would hold up the plug to charge any of my devices! That was the biggest problem. Bed was comfortable. No hot tub, the clerk said it was "covered up years ago."
- Katie (10/5): Really clean - Check in was so easy! The front desk staff was awesome letting us know what to expect during our stay. The room was VERY clean and while it could use some updating the only thing I ever care about is if I can walk around barefoot in the room and if my kids can crawl on the floor. Yes to both is always a win. Breakfast was great. The pool has the potential to be something really special and had a 2 ft area where my toddler was able to stand. 10/10 for this place and the wonderful staff.

- Verified traveler (2/5): State softball stay - Rooms are old and dirty, carpet is dirty, rooms smell, carpet felt damp from the air conditioner, dirt and dust on the lamps and air vents, etc. Front desk was very friendly. I don’t fault them for the condition of the hotel.

There were water stains in the ceiling in the bathroom. And my mini fridge was DIRTY. There was a brown spillage that was stuck all over the botto of the fridge.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not the best place if you have allergies, there is a lot of humidity from the pool since it is open to the whole hotel so the windows along the stairs are dripping wet. There is no key card required to go into the pool or into the numerous doors throughout the building so it didnt feel as secure for us. Also we were to use bracelets for the pool because we were told people would just come in that weren't staying there and try to use the pool. No one came in to check for bracelets in the hour that we were at the pool. The pool was fine. The breakfast was nice. Overall we wont stay again because we want more security measures and the high humidity made our allergies act up

- Karla (8/5): Large gathering space brings us back every year - I like the staff, they were great. Breakfast was excellent. I have been familiar with this hotel for 30 years. It was amazing in its heyday. They have updated the entry part of the property, but the rest needs it too. I come here every year because my son's team wants to stay here. It has a nice open space where 30 of us can gather near the pool area. It's cold, but the kids must like the pool ok because they spend a lot of time there. It's nice and shallow for the littles. If they had a large hot tub, that would bring it to my good graces. It's in a decent area on the edge of town.

Would definitely stay here again!

After pulling back the curtain, discovered mold and water coming from outside due to the rain. Pool was closed, probably due to the rain pouring in the windows above it. Just outdated hotel but the free breakfast was nice.
- Dana (10/5): - My ONLY problem AT ALL with the property is that the parking-lot appears to have been improperly tiled so that the heavy rain throughout the night and in the morning of my departure pooled between the exit doors and the cars in the parking-lot. It was difficult to my car without being almost ankle-deep in puddles!
