• William (6/5): Somewhat rude introduction flavored my stay. - Arrived 45 minutes early and was told a $35 penalty for earl check in. Only on car in parking lot. Side security door unlocked and broken. I reported it early. It was never fixed. Breakfast options included a large stack of black bananas.
• Daniel (9/5): Good for what I needed it for - Good for a overnight stay , kind of close to the highway so traffic noise can be heard. The room kind of smelled like smoke but could just be old. No bananas for breakfast.

• Jessica (5/5): It was close to where we needed to be. - Breakfast was great. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was not well maintained. There was trash and dirt at the entrances and in the stairwell. Numerous dirty spots and wear/tear throughout. Pool and jacuzzi hadn’t been cleaned, there was trash at the bottom of both.

We should have gone the extra 20 miles to the Hampton Inn in Blythe. - Breakfast was OK, yogurt machine didn't work, eggs were dry, coffee was good, only blueberry bagels available, attending employee was very helpful. Less than we could get at other hotels for the same rate. The back door didn't lock, lock was broken which didn't make me feel safe. Carpet is very old , really needs to be replaced, all of the buttons on the air conditioner were unreadable, bathroom door was hard to close and the hinges are rusty. The room smelled,not a good smell, upon arrival. The air outside of the hotel also stunk.

Beatriz, the manager, accepting this type of behavior is not okay, looks bad on her since she is the manager. She could have handled the situation better or differently. Don’t come here or support this establishment.

Beatrice had the nastiest attitude when it came to assisting me and my elderly mother with info we wanted as we were not residents of AZ. Beatrice made a comment referring to my mother’s age and how she won’t be able to do anything ! Not to mention we asked for our bedding to be changed and their worker Caesar said he would come back with clean linen and gave us bloody stained ones instead ! We asked again for the changes and it took him 2 hours to return !! Awful every staff member , best western should be ashamed!!

• John (10/5): 115° weekend - I’m an over the road truck driver and we have to do what is called a 34 hour reset so I spent two nights there. Temperature outside was 115° pool. Water was cool air-conditioning in room worked great.

• jrzj42 (8/5): Above average Best Western - Room was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Few minute walk to a Wendy's and well stocked gas station convenience store. This is a heavily used hotel - parking lot was always full. Located off of Rt 10 in Arizona - a few minutes drive to the AZ/CA border. You'll need to drive to Quartzite or Blythe CA if you want something more than fast food. 20 minutes to Quartzite and ~10 minutes (depends on the CA Agro inspection line) to Blythe. There's a Fatburger on the North side of Rt 10. The Blythe Intaglios are about 25 minutes away - North on CA Rt 95. Overall I would stay at this Best Western again.

The room was okay we were given a handicapped room the window did not have privacy curtains to open and let light in the room was dark, the shower head kept falling off, nowhere to put soaps in shower and the noise from the air conditioner and fridge was loud.We got in late so I guess we where given what was available but not very comfortable.
• Chad (8/5): - The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. In my room the AC controls didn’t function properly and the hotel staff wasn’t able to address it. I ended up having to let the room cool way too low and then turn the AC off until the room got warm and repeat the process.

• Tamara (8/5): - This is a great location, just off the I-10. The hotel is comfortable, little loud from interstate noise and amenities surrounding hotel. However, nice to have the gas station right there to gas up on way out, also a Wendy's and another restaurant within walking distance. Hotel is clean and the ladies in the breakfast room were super friendly. Don't feel as safe staying on the first floor as I do on upper level.
• tripnina (6/5): Convenient hotel - We stayed in this hotel for one night passing through from a day at Palm Springs/Joshua Tree towards Sedona. The hotel is fine, there is nothing wrong with it for the price we paid. It is very tired and needs an update but they are part way through renovations so assume all rooms will soon be renovated. The aircon was so loud we couldn’t sleep and turned it off. But the room was very clean, beds comfy and there is a Wendy’s and service station next door which is handy to get supplies and a quick dinner. Free parking and breakfast (which was not luxury, but fine). All in all a convenient, low priced hotel for those doing a similar journey. We didn’t use the pool area. Not very much to do nearby.

Staff at desk said they had informed everyone staying ahead of time but first I heard of it was when I arrived. Bed not very comfortable and could hear the people next door though they were not noisy late. Not as nice as when I had stayed a few years ago but renovation may resolve some of issues.

• Melody (4/5): Stays during remodeling a poor choice - Location This hotel is under major renovation while the room was adequate and the staff very nice there was hammering and buzzing in the room all evening and early morning . Due to the renovation the TV service was spotty and the maintenance man tried to show us how to plug and unplug it to get it to work but after 4 or 5 tries we didn’t want to keep calling to get it fixed so we gave up. Every staff member was considerate and nice (especially the lady in breakfast room). But due to the noise, buzzing and disruption, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel until upgrade complete

• Lisa (10/5): Everything we needed for a very short stay. - We were only there for about 5 hours to sleep and eat breakfast, but staff were immediately responsive when we arrived at 4am, and the person managing breakfast was very helpful and friendly. (Tip your servers and room cleaners, travelers)! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We checked in with our dog without a problem.

However, there was only one tv channel working, towel bar was coming off, there was a sewer smell in the hallway, the bathtub moved. Worst is the health issue of the pool and spa. We didn't smell any chemicals. We asked the front desk and he said they don't add chemicals and they don't check the chemicals. That is very unsafe. Only food nearby is Wendy's. The air conditioner has no buttons. Had to guess on what we were setting. They don't lock outside doors. Anyone can walk in. When looking for luggage cart when leaving, the staff was using them to take out the garbage.

• drpins (2/5): You can't rely on what they say! - hotel and breakfast ok BUT giving them a bad review because the hot tub was ordered turned off ( not for repairs) the day we arrived (supposedly) and although we stayed 2 nights they did not turn it back on. We have a disabled family member and stayed at this hotel because of this amenity. We even called before booking the hotel about a week out to check that it would be available and had no maintenance scheduled. would have stayed elsewhere had we known.
