- Annabelle (8/5): - Clean, quiet and close to Glass Beach. Front desk associate wasn't too friendly to ask questions with when we arrived. Office and Registration Building should at least have the sign that it's for Best Western Vista Manor.
- Rita (8/5): - Very convenient location, easy parking, very old outdated building, room had noticeable unprofessional fixes curtains half thorn, wall semi patched, very low end property that looked very motel type, not the standard. Front desk lady was very unfriendly: name? Credit card? What? Only reason we stayed was the convenience. The gentleman at breakfast was very kind and friendly.
- Heather (8/5): Solid stay - The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The partial view was VERY partial and the area wasn’t very walkable. Though the beach was close, it was off a fairly busy highway with no sidewalks.
- Joseph (2/5): - The beach view was about the only positive about the stay. The AC was not working in the room. The carpet smelled like mildew, it was stained everywhere. The bathroom ceiling fan was dirty and clogged. The sheets were polyester, therefore making the bed warm.

The room was adjacent to Highway 1 and semi trucks went by all night and it was impossible to sleep. Do not stay here if you want to sleep for the night. I will say that the breakfast was good and luckily they refunded my second night.

- Darlene (8/5): Ocean view - All of the employees were wonderful. The building is old so updating is needed and looks like some updates have been done like the shower. The telephone didn’t work and the door handle was awkward. The location and staff were exceptional.

You can't open the (old screachy) windows for the road noise is even so louder, so you have to choose between fresh air or feeling like you're on the pavement. The room was cleaned below standard, there was some debris left on the carpet, the toilet seat didn't have a paper tape. Shower stall was updated but everything else in bathroom and the room was dated from decades past. Parking lot had remnants of construction material and waste residue. The indoor pool was covered and door to the pool room locked, so don't count on using the pool. We were locked in our bathroom twice as the knob spun without opening, one of us had to open it from the outside handle. Front desk didn't make any effort to compensate us for our trouble. Overall not worth the price.

- Lisa (6/5): - This was our last hotel out of 8 for our road trip. The bed was very comfortable and the waffles in the morning were great fun for the kids. It was very expensive given the condition compared to all our other hotels of the same rating. The door was so stiff you could barely move it. The door did not have a bug screen either. The view is barely a sea view too. It was just a bit of a let down after a series of really excellent rooms.

Also, the carpeted flooring in the bedroom needs updating as it has a musty smell. Overall, we love the ocean view in our room and also the breakfast is included in our stay which makes it very convenient.
- John (8/5): - Great location if you want to spend a lot of time at the beach: Pudding Creek Beach is just across the highway. Meanwhile, downtown Fort Bragg is only a few minutes away by car. While the hot breakfast was good, my favorite thing about this property has to be the landscaped grounds surrounding the hotel buildings. It's called "Vista Manor" because the property overlooks the ocean and the creek (see photos). Families with children: note that there are broad grassy yards for kids to run around, and picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds, so you can sit and enjoy the view.

- Kayla (8/5): Will stay again - The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Very clearly 70s costal vibes but you can tell they recently renovated the space. It didnt feel too dated. There is a front building across from the main building/breakfast area and then a 2nd building in the back, just a heads up as we werent aware of this until we were put in the back building. It isnt nearly as close to the breakfast but its a little thing. Great views! The 2nd building does have balconies tho! Will definitely stay there again. Walking distance to Pudding Creek or an extemely short drive. It is also up a little cliff off the road so it feels safer than the other hotels right on the main road. Breakfast was a waffle machine, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, toast, bannas/apples, and instant eggs and sausages. Nothing fancy but saves money!

- krista (2/5): Bad service - When I arrived to check in I was told they did not have my reservation and that I would need to contact hotels.com which is very difficult as I could only so an online chat and there was no cell service. After the hotel let me use their WiFi I was placed in a 25 min que while my family waited in the car wondering b what was going to happen. I got little to no help from the live chat person and luckily the hotel was able to give me 2 rooms to replace the large cottage I had booked so my family was split up and had to share beds when we should have all had our own. It was also more expensive for a lesser accommodation. It pretty much ruined our entire trip which had been booked months in advance.

- Christina (8/5): Great location - Location was great, however when it came to the breakfast, I did notice the young man that was preparing the food wasn't using any gloves. Lets keep in mind germs spread easly that way with direct contact. Also some fruit would be nice to add. Second the parking wasn't bad, except when another guest parks right behind you horizontally and you have to reverse and go forward a few times. Mind you I was driving a medium size truck and there was pleanty of other parking the other guest could have taken. I parked directly in front of my room. Lastly I did notice there was some mold on the inside of the sliding door where the window and frame come in contact.

- Jessica (10/5): - Perfect for a family getaway. The kids loved the indoor pool, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very inviting. Breakfast in the morning was convenient and they had a nice little spread. We will definitely be back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don‘t stay there! - I‘ve never paid over 200€ for such a bad hotel. The room smelled like a 30years old carpet, the sink was clogged and the room looked like originally from the 80s. I knew I couldn‘t expect much from a BW-Hotel but this is a cheek especislly for this price!). The staff is also rude and the breakfast is bad. Additional there were lots of ants on the buffet table…
- Nyit Seen (8/5): - The rooms are rather pricey considering a 2-star hotel. The hotel surrounding is pretty dark after sunset due to poor illumination.

- DALLAS (6/5): - Checked into the room and noticed that the TV didn’t work. We called the office and receptionist just kind of blew us off and then hung up on us. So We pulled out the huge stand and figured it out ourselves! We then in the morning went to walk the trails and came back to use restroom and sit for a min before the drive home and found our door open and room stripped down and we were checked out without knowing ! We only were in our room from 10pm-8am. The positive was our room had the ocean view that I paid For. Room was ok. Could use some updates.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The man at the reception desk was friendly and fast to check us in. The staff during breakfast had quick service as they were busy cleaning and restocking items that had run out, such as syrup, milk, etc.

- Andrew (10/5): - Great experience here. Beautiful view from room 407 onto the bridge and ocean. Staff was great, very friendly and the breakfast was a plus. My wife left her iPad and didn’t realize until we got back home. I called once we realized and they had it in the office and safe. They shipped it to me in Sacramento and I got it back in perfect condition. Great place and great staff. I will be staying there again.

- Mercy (10/5): - We enjoyed our room with “partial ocean view” with beautiful views of stunning sunset every evening through the Pudding Creek Bridge from the balcony. The room is spotlessly clean; staff is courteous and helpful; hot breakfast is decent with sufficient selections. The area is quiet and serene; we will come back to this property when we are in the area again.
- Kristen (2/5): - Cockroaches at this hotel! Tons of them behind the mini fridge and on the walls near the bed. Cockroaches are nocturnal and we didn't realize our room had any until the next night. Checked out early, as the hotel was fully booked, but wouldn't have trusted even a different room. Overcharged for our stay and infested with bugs. Disgusting!!
- Andrii (6/5): - There is no place for a barbecue! We brought meat with us, and... we had to take it home. It's good that we were there only for one night.

- Song (8/5): - Appreciate that there were stand alone cottages however the door handle to our unit was loose. Didn’t realize there appeared to be a small cemetery behind the cottage.
- Amanda (2/5): Disappointing - Pictures of the rooms are misleading. Hotel was significantly more expensive than other nearby properties, and there does not appear to be a reason. Ended up accidentally booking a partial ocean view because the picture was the same as the full ocean view. Essentially could not see the ocean at all but technically could if standing at the right angle and straining my neck. Tried to contact for a refund or reduced rate due to the disappointing condition and was unable. Room floor was so dirty my feet were black. Room stated shower tub combo and had shower only so was unable to give my kiddos a bath as I had planned. Disappointing customer support from hotels.com when I tried to complain about the condition. Only positive was comfortable beds and pretty trees on the property.
- Jean Pierre (10/5): - Very nice cottage, quite roomy and comfortable with lots of adjoining outdoor space. Good plumbing- could run two showers at once with no problem. Nice kitchen with full size fridge. TV in living room and each of three bedrooms. Breakfast was meh… the yard was not terribly well maintained (gophers?)

- Gail (10/5): - Natalie was so helpful. Our TV did not work and she came right over and discovered someone had disconnected the HDMI cable. She recommended restaurants that were just what we were looking for. She was friendly, professional and efficient. What a gem!
- Maryann (8/5): - Comfortable room, nice ocean view. Great staff. The breakfast was the same all 3 days we stayed there. It was good . Seems the facility is being upgraded . The bath had a walk in shower where the tub had been. A plus . The key card didn’t work well with the old door lock. Overall , we enjoyed our stay.
