Guest Reviews
- Colleen (5/5): It was convenient for what we needed to do in PA. - There is only one handicap parking spot. My husband is a disabled vet and they gave us a room that we needed to climb two sets of stairs carrying our luggage.
- John (8/5): -
- Margie (8/5): I enjoyed the stay. The guy at the front desk was nice and accommodating. Even after I checked out early to take my son - I loved that it’s in the center of Quakertown. Close to the high school where my son attended a football camp. The farmers market is within a mile as well as honeygrow and so many other food choices. The shower didn’t work completely as the bottom part continued to run while the shower was on. I did not notify the staff because I was only staying there one night and to me for the price it wasn’t that big of a deal.
The breakfast included only consisted of coffee cereal muffins and bagels. No hot breakfast. Again not a biggie given so many places to eat breakfast around.
So for the price and location it was definitely worth it!
- joseph (7/5): Short trip but well deserved - Nice location Clean
- Marlo (7/5): -
- Damian (7/5): Good - Clean and comfy. I would stay there again . I enjoyed my stay there,.
- Frei (9/5): - Location
- Tejeha (7/5): It wasn’t terrible - It was comfortable It was pricey for the quality
- Elizabeth (4/5): A place to sleep! - We liked the area and places and restaurants and stores in area! The hotel is a bit run down and smells dirty! House keeping and maintenance upping there gane would do this hotel alot of justice! Clean the walls paint the walls just clean better make it fresh when you enter! Definitely not worth what we paid!! There's mold issues that could and need to be addressed before they become bigger issues!
- George (9/5): - It is always a good value
- Elise (6/5): - Refrigerator broken, no controls.
Ice machine out of order on our floor.
- Ruth (6/5): - Safe parking. Easy check in. AC was ok as long as the curtain weren’t shut then it blew up the curtains. Comfortable bedding. Mattresses needed cleaned. Fridge in one room didn’t work. No coffee maker or access to coffee. Breakfast was the most disappointing. Killed a roach in our room.
Cleaning people were awesome.
- Mary (2/5): Blah - Close to location needed Very dirty inside and out, no elevator and electricity went out.
- Mich (10/5): - Clean room very nice room
- Lauren (1/5): - Dirty sheets. Blood stains. Bathroom smelled like urine. It was gross
- Jennier (7/5): -
- Diana (8/5): - Close to where we had to go the next day
- Umble (8/5): It was ok for 1 night stay for what we needed. - Location. Comfy bed Bathroom could’ve been cleaner and mirror wasn’t cleaned at all.
- Mahindra (2/5): - Econo is the worst hotel I've ever seen in the United States. Dirty and unsanitary, the bathrooms were dirty, the beds were stained, so much so that I had to leave after 30 minutes. I went with my team. We had 5 rooms, and I had to go find another hotel in the area and lose the money they wouldn't give me back, even though I showed them all the filth and disgust that must be there. I don't recommend it.
- Guest (8/5): -
- VITO (2/5): - Dirty Room! Filthy Sheets and Pillows!
Would Never Return!!
- Austin (2/5): - The room we book was in the smoke free section but the whole hotel was filled with cigarette smoke. Our room had cigarette ash on the desk and night stands and window. There was weird colored liquid stains on the walls. The towels in the bathroom all were stained and had holes or ripped/ shedded. The ceiling had black particles falling from it on to us. We were easily able to hear the people in the room Nextdoor. I checked in and checked out not even ten minutes later.
- Tim (8/5): - Manager extremely helpful. Came to the room to check TV and fridge. Polite and timely.
- Zhinong (2/5): - At night, I get bitten by tiny mosquitoes or bed bugs and end up covered in bumps the second day
- Mirko. Sch (5/5): - Kurze Einkaufsmöglichkeit Die Zimmer sollten Mal neu gemacht werden
- francis (10/5): Nice place to stay - This property is in a good location to highways and close to restaurants and shopping. It is very clean and has comfortable rooms. Staff was very pleasant. Will stay here again when visiting in this area. Good parking area too....well lit and secure.
- Garcia (10/5): -
- Joann (4/5): - The hotel is very old and extremely dirty. They have not kept up with much needed repairs.
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Ronald (8/5): - It's a bit worn, but upgrades have been made. They're trying.
- Darand (8/5): - Needs better breakfast but rooms were great
- Brandon (2/5): Stay away - Old, dirty, and they let people smoke so the entire hallways smell nothing but cigarettes. Room want swept out mopped at all. Piss and hair on the toilet, and stains all over the walls and ceiling. Or really looks like they don't even clean anything at all.
- Dwight (10/5): -
- Mary (6/5): - Staff were professional and efficient. Check in and out were quick and easy. Lower rating for cleanliness because the hallways needed to be vacuumed and my room floor as well. I hesitated to use the air conditioner because the vents were dirty. Not bad, just not great, so it should have been cheaper.
- Karthiegasen (10/5): -
- Gary (5/5): Our room wasn’t swept and very dirty dusty - Close proximity to a lot of stores Very dirty
- Verified traveler (6/5): You Get What You Pay For - My family and I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge and found both positives and negatives during my visit. The location is convenient, with a Giant Food Store just a short walk away, which made grabbing essentials easy. However, the room hadn't been cleaned before our arrival—there was broken glass on the floor and personal items left behind from previous guests. We brought this to the staff's attention, and to their credit, they responded quickly and cleaned the room thoroughly to meet our expectations. Throughout our stay, the staff remained friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived late for check-in. Overall, while the cleanliness upon arrival was disappointing, the prompt service and reasonable pricing balanced out the experience.
- Elizabeth (3/5): Just a place top sleep ! - Just the area ! Place smelt and was run down and dirty! Smelt hot and of mold! Walls were dingy carpets in halls were dirty! Our room walls were splattered idk how house keeping dosent see dirty walls and not clean them! Bathroom could use a update and good cleaning! Bedding needs updating down comforters are dingy and have stains and burn holes in them! Pillows also need to be new and protective covers should be used! There's definitely a mold issue and I felt yucky and my allergies acted up from it! The area down stairs for laundry use was very creepy and also was moldy smelling !
- John (10/5): - Evrything was great. Thanks.
- Noelle (4/5): Do not recommend - It was in a good location. Honestly it was really dirty and I stay at all types of hotels. Burn holes in the sheets and comforter, mold, dirty walls and floors, beds and pillows are not clean, the towels were like brown and stained, the bathroom was so gross even the tub. The hallway carpet was dirty too! I would not stay here again. I wish I could add all the photos I took..here are just a couple.
- Steven (2/5): Very poor - Not much, there was hair all over the room, and dirt and stains on the walls, all that could have been cleaned easy enough. Dirt and hair everywhere and stains on the walls
- Christina (2/5): - Understanding this is an economy motel, but it was rundown and seedy, smelled of old sour cigarette smoke. Carpet in hallways could not have been vacuum med in weeks, visible debris and dirt and dust. Stained walls & peeling paint, bathtub stained & water faucet just swiveled around with no temp markings. Would definitely not recommend until they do some updates and major cleaning !
- Dan (2/5): - They don't even try to clean. Hotel re
- Brent (2/5): - Very dirty
- GARY (4/5): - Don't clean enough. doesn't take a lot of effort to run a vacuum cleaner down the hallway. Starting to get pricey. Need to step up if there going to charge that price.
- Nayady (1/5): Breaks fast included was just milk and cereals -
- Isabelle (4/5): - Room needed to be updated in decor. Bed was comfortable. Shower/tub looked a bit too skeevy to wash in. Complimentary breakfast was a lame excuse for breakfast. Room was messy with used bowls & cups scattered around. Cereal was all over the counter & floor. Breakfast consisted of 1 available muffin, 1 available yogurt, some apples, juice & coffee.
- James (8/5): - Very friendly staff.
- Jerry (2/5): - I spent the first 45 minutes cleaning. I stripped down the bed and got new sheets. This room meaning everything had had been cleaned in years. I have stayed at lots of motels nothing like this. The free breakfast was Apples. Oh it gets better night two there was a terrible fight two doors down like men beating up a woman. That happen at 2:00 am and again at 5:00. The person on the desk had to hear this fighting. Please don’t waste your money here
- Brandi (4/5): Disappointing - Whole building smelled like stale cigarettes
- Renata (8/5): Great one-night stay in a great location - Great location, close to a grocery store and restaurants. To me the mattress was so hard I could not turn on my side.
- ISOBEL (8/5): - This is the 4th time we have stayed here - it is clean, staff very friendly & helpful, lots of places to eat, shop and walk close by.
- Robert (4/5): OK for what I paid but other hotels in area offer full breakfast and more comfortable - Continental breakfast was poor More comfortable bed and sheets. Coffee maker in room would've been awesome, ad says coffee maker in room but there wasn't any
- Eileen (3/5): Poor - The location was close to my family. The staff was ok. The room was clean I didn't like the fact that they advertise a continental breakfast and all you get is a small muffin, an apple or cereal. Of course coffee and juice but they could really do better. I had to go elsewhere every day for breakfast.
- Mike (6/5): Pleasant - Rooms and comforters were not very clean. Bathroom base boards had visible dirt that hadnt been touched in a while.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Douglas (4/5): - Dated old falling apart smelly was afraid to shower. Will look into a better hotel next time.
- Andrew (8/5): - This is a good value cheap and cheerful place to stay. I had no issues. The receptionist was friendly and it’s easy to park and access from the motorway.
- John (7/5): Good - Breakfast was basic as advertised
- Frei (9/5): Superb -
- Vega (5/5): Passable -
- Luis (8/5): - The place is cozy and very good, but the smell of cigarettes in the middle of the entrance is a little unpleasant. We liked everything else
- Christina (4/5): Disappointing - Housekeeping never came into the room, did not get new towels
- Christina (4/5): Disappointing - Housekeeping never came to bring new towels or clean room
- LINDA (8/5): A good nights rest - A great place to stay overnight after a concert in Sellersville. Very reasonable in price.
- Yhia (7/5): Good -
- Christina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christina (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hesse (7/5): Overall good - Not that great Asked for a late check out and they said noon was all they could do and the cleaning person walked right in at 1130
- Gene (1/5): Never again - Aweful smell throughout building. Room wasn’t clean
- Michael (2/5): Just don’t unless your only there to get high or something - It was convenient It was absolutely disgusting… dirty room and dirty sheets used towels and washcloths left in the dirty shower
- Magalie (1/5): Bad - The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was dirty, there was urine on my toilet, the shower was broken, there was hair in the bathroom and tub. There was no hot water. The bed felt like it was 20 years old and needed to be changed.
- Hesse (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rutledge (10/5): Exceptional - It was very quiet and the staff was very accommodating Nothing
- William (10/5): Economic-Lodge Luxury - Awesome customer service!!!!
- Shirshak (8/5): Very good -
- Briana (4/5): Disappointing - Beds were comfortable Very unclean, filters in the AC unit were clogged and the room stank, the floor had gum stuck on the floor and the linens were not cleaned, actually had visible stains
The worst part was leaving an envelope asking for a tip, I understand that it's tough to live on the money they offer, but you gotta show something to get something
- Rene (10/5): - Very good option for the price!
- Christina (6/5): Pleasant - House keeping never came, did not get any clean towels
- GREGORY (2/5): - We chose this because we figured it would be a quick place to sleep well visiting friends. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. The pillows smelled like sweaty head. The floors were dirty. We chose some place that offered breakfast however there was no breakfast other than stale muffins and coffee. The people above us were obviously having a party. I can't believe nobody in the front desk couldn't hear it and put a stop to it.. I would have to truly say this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life.
- Amy (8/5): - It’s dirty the sheets had stuff on them my nan got in the bed some kind of stamina cream fell out they don’t clean under the furniture or bed and it was half hr till check out the cleaning lady knocked them opened the door
- Vicki (6/5): I’ve had 1 great stay there and 2 not so great - Location is close to work Staff is inattentive Also the hotel isn’t full so why put people next to each other? I was there with the sole purpose to get a good nights sleep and had a baby screaming in the adjoining room from 6:30 am till I left at 9. Parents were yelling too. Breakfast was lame compared to other hotels. When I checked out the front desk person was on the phone and didn’t look up to even say thank you. There was feces in the toilet. Looked like it had been there awhile so the toilet was stained from it.
- Dustin (6/5): - Bed wasnt secured to frame. A/c barely worked housekeeping never came in to give fresh towels or empty trash. No extra pillows available.
- Chen (5/5): Passable - This might be a fair place in this small town. It is okay to stay for one night if you have to stay. the room is not very clean, you can see previous shoeprints in the washroom. The breakfast only had cereal and milk.
- Joe (8/5): Convenient and Quiet but Basic - This Econo Lodge is within walking distance of a grocery store, several restaurants and stores, and the old part of Quakertown, which is why I had selected it. The hotel itself is somewhat older but maintained fairly well. In the room, the coffee maker probably should have been replaced, and the water pressure was not great. The room, however, was really quiet. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very basic. Overall, for around the same price at the time (early December) and so long as one has a car, another hotel might have been preferable.
- Samuel (1/5): Checked in, went to room, saw how gross it was, left - Not clean at all
- Irene (4/5): Great location, but very dirty and disappointed by the mediocre breakfast options. - It was in a very good location, the beds were decently comfortable. Our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There were blood splatters and other stains and drips on the walls, the walls were cracked, the bathroom lacked caulking, so you could see where mold was growing around the tub, the floors were covered in hair, crumbs, dust, and other debris. There was hair in the sheets, the pillows were hard and lumpy. Fortunately we only needed a place to simply sleep for the night, so we could look past all these issues, but if the hotel is going to charge as much as they do, at least make sure the rooms are clean.
- Jennifer (4/5): - Walls are thin, can hear everything.
Breakfast is cold coffee and muffins in plastic wrappers
Shower not clean
- Amy (8/5): - Great service the guy at night is awesome
- charlotte (2/5): - Probably the dirtiest place I have ever stayed! The bathroom floor was visibly filthy, room smelled like smoke, bathroom ceiling had a hole in it which was plugged up with a tissue, shower faucet was falling off the wall, shower spurted out water. Noticed the housekeeping broom and dustpan were also filthy. I could not wait to get out of this place. Horrible!
- Newsome (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (6/5): - The tub was not that clean, paint peeling above the tiles and outdated shower head. The people next door were quite loud around 11 pm until almost midnight. I couldn't get the clock set to the right time so i had to use my phone for an alarm. There were few items available for breakfast - muffins, cereal, coffee and juice. The main room seemed clean, bed was comfortable and heat worked well.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Best avoided. - The lobby smelled like cigarettes and Fox News was blasting on the TV when we arrived. Hallway was filthy and 2 of our 3 rooms were not clean. Breakfast was inadequate. We could not get out fast enough.
- Christina (6/5): Pleasant - Nicely located Housekeeping was way too aggressive in trying to come into the room, completely ignored the do not disturb sign
- William (10/5): Awesome customer service!!!!! - Awesome!!
- Sean (4/5): - Just wasn’t very clean. Smoke rises, so put the smoking rooms on the 2nd floor. Are room smelled like smoke. Bathroom smelled like old urine. Nail clippings in the bed sheets. We all felt like we were getting sick from being in there. Change or clean the filters in the wall units. Expected better from a hotel in the middle of town.
- Winfield (9/5): Served its purpose for a one night stay - Served its purpose for a one night stay. "breakfast" was lacking. Bare minimum.
- Therese (8/5): Left hungry - Room was fine for quick trip. Staff were nice. They said free breakfast and it was a joke. Coffee and a small packaged muffin. No real food. No eggs, no pancakes, no waffles, no bacon, NOTHING. And they have a big room. It could be nice. And you pay for free breakfast! So disappointed.
- Darnetta (6/5): - The property is very dated but the staff were friendly and it was clean. Also there is no elevator but thankfully it is only two floors. We would most likely stay again.
