Guest Reviews
- Danny (6/5): - The location is right by everything, the bed was comfortable It wasnt the cleanest. The ice machine didn't work, neither did the water machine. The pool was down for service or something.
- Guest (1/5): -
- ariana (2/5): Filthy rooms dirty water and overall probably worse than a motel 6. - i like that it was across the street from fast food restaurants. As a housekeeper myself, i was not satisfied with the cleanness of the rooms or the extra fees added just to get into my room an hour earlier when the room was already open and “clean.”
- Alvarado (7/5): -
- sage (6/5): - The Hilton would fairly clean very old and needs remodel and upkeep
- Cynthia (2/5): - Chose this hotel for more $ as they advertise full breakfast, but do not, they have plates utensils etc but clerk said they don't offer even coffee. Motel 6 was $32 cheaper, but wanted grandbaby to eat before we left. So paid more for less. Room had a random comb on floor next to bed and lots of homeless frequent parking lot in dark. Staff said he would contact mgr to refund for breakfast missing and no one has said a word.
- Denise (4/5): It was OK but property needs some attention and advertising should be updated to match reality - Parking in front of room made carrying in items easy. I did receive a small refund since they advertised breakfast included, but it was not. advertised as breakfast included - there was none. No coffee in lobby, but there was in room coffee maker. No ice machine available - had to go to office and request ice.
- Lupe (3/5): Poor - First off, when we checked in, there was no electricity in the room. They do not have any type of breakfast like the website shows. It looked very run down and not kept up. The pool was empty. Ice machine not working either. Definitely not staying here again.
- Aljerino (4/5): Disappointed - Convenient to interstate Service
Late arrival and no one was available
No breakfast like it was advertised
- Elizabeth (2/5): - The pool was not operational, they couldnt do the breakfast service that was included in the room rate, we were the only ones staying so the message clearly was that they should not be open until they fixed their issues - TV and in-room phone did not work so we couldnt call for instructions, no soap in the bathroom and one coffee serving provided but no cups - we cancelled our second night's stay and moved on - shocking that this place is still operating and under the Best Western banner
- James (2/5): - Dirty room. Blood stain in middle of the sheet. We know what that is from.
- Grimaldo (1/5): Bad - Nothing the clerk had no clue about the reservation, I got the price for breakfast, but there was no breakfast, I was extremely dissapointed. Anything, terrible. I woukd like a refund please.
- Lorena (4/5): - The facilty is outdated and dirty. There was no soap in the bathroom, the shower curtain was dirty, towels were stained and the sheets were dirty.
the outdoors is dilapitated. The dinning area consisted of two open boxes of cereal. There seemed to be only one staff member.
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (2/5): - Pool was closed, no ice machine, i was ther 5 nights. No room cleaning, had to go buy my own toilet paper, no cups in the room had to ask for shampoo. Felt unsafe, parking spaces very narrow, had to ask for clean towl, there english was horrable i dont speak spanish.
- Pieter (9/5): Superb -
- Morales (5/5): Passable -
- ewing (6/5): - Breakfast pretty good but I was late and picked over.
- Judith (3/5): WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN FOR SURE. - Truthfully,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NOT MUCH..........I cant even think of one thing. Check in was total confusion.........The place was in dire need of work to bring it up to what the pictures in Booking showed. No ice buckets for room........had to get little bag of ice from front desk. Was given a room card and room number that was already occupied when we opened door.. Given another room card that this time did not open our room.......Finally given a card that worked. This Place was defenitely NOT Best Western quality which we have experienced in the past with out stays at Best Western. THIS PLACE WAS ONE OF THE WORST WE HAVE EXPERIENCED IN MANY YEARS OF OUR TRAVELING.
- Linda (9/5): Overall a very nice stay. - Very clean and comfortable. Staff worked hard to make things right. First day had almost no breakfast items but they worked very hard to improve it quickly.
- Josh (7/5): Good -
- Gary (2/5): - The property looks old on the inside and has numerous maintenance issues. Also cleaning issues. They didn’t do any detailed cleaning. There were things like ugly sloppy caulk in the bathroom, dirt and dust on the baseboards, really bad paint job.
This place does not like up to the Best Western name.
- Jesus (1/5): Will not stay here again -
- marisa (2/5): - Not a clean room the service room was terrible not recomended
- Linda (6/5): - There was no water in our bathroom. Then when it was "fixed" the water was brown. Then there was no water again. Breakfast was closed down. No water. No breakfast as advertised. We should get our money back !
- Mike (4/5): Run down - I stayed there last year, and it was pleasant. Seems to be new management now. Pool was run down & broken, no more breakfast, no coffee, no ice machine. Property seemed to be run down since last year
- traci (2/5): - This motel was awful!! The rooms were filthy, and there was no water for showers, flushing the toilet, or washing my hands. The manager kept telling me someone was going to fix the water, but he would turn on the water for 20 minutes or so and turn it back off! There was no continental breakfast as it says on the website. No one was even in the office at breakfast time. Save yourself misery , and don't book here!
- Bala (6/5): Pleasant - Ground floor and no homeless around No breakfast even if it shows free bf in the website
- Tahoma (4/5): - Sad place.
- Joanne (4/5): - Clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was uninspired and there was no coffee. Worn down buildiñg
- Edgardo Rafael (10/5): - Very affordable and convenient but pool was not accessible
- TERRENCE (6/5): - Quiet
- Chandra (6/5): - No soap in the room. Website stated they offer breakfast but this location doesnt offer it. There are locations around you can get breakfast from. Dennys has good breakfast and servers are nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Beware! Not Best Western quality! - Does NOT include breakfast! Pool is empty and it's a big hole in the ground. Room was dirty and had an overwhelming smell of Febreeze. There was no way to open the windows. The door didn't shut properly. Area seemed unsafe especially with the door not locking. Bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Comforter did not include bottom sheet. Just crashed for the night and left as soon as I could!
- Dianna (3/5): Poor - No coffee no breakfast. Bed was ok.
- Sandro (4/5): Disappointing - Clean Plumbing didn't work, tub and toilet backed up
- Muhammad (1/5): Bad - Location Wait time. The room was not ready at the time of arrival.
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Shannon (1/5): I would NEVER stay here again! - I liked that they don't have bedbugs. Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing positive i could say about the property No hot water, no continental breakfast (which is advertised as available), the bed itself is very old and the sheets and blankets were literally shredded at the corners and didn't fit the bed at all. They were balled up under us when we woke up.
- Ann (4/5): - This is a place we often stay in but it has gone downhill. It advertised a breakfast but the clerk told me they don’t have breakfast at this time. The room was dirty. The toilet didn’t work. We probably won’t be staying there anymore.
- Kaylee (2/5): Horrible experience - Was unable to check in. Arrived at the hotel at approximately 315pm to check in. There was no one to be found that worked there. Rang the bell at front desk multiple times and yelled hello. Even checked the housekeeping room. Waited around for 20 mins for worker to come out to check in and no response. Had to book a hotel somewhere else
- Gustavo (2/5): - I chose this property because of previous sure stay in Ontario ca. They advertised the following: pool, hot tub, free breakfast lobby
I specifically chose it because of these amenities acording to the pictures and ad on expedia only to find that the pool was in desperate repair and so was the hot tub. There was no breakfast and a small loby no bathroom or computers.. the room was small and smalled musty. I drove 12 hrs from Salinas ca. Expecting to relax instead i ran out canceling my stay expecting not to be charged.
As of today it appears that I havent been charged yet. Stayed at Comfort Choice hotel instead. Why did expedia falsely chaim that it had these amenities.TOTALLY DISAPOINTED.
- Jennifer (2/5): - They didn’t have a staffed check-in. Had to call a phone number that went to voicemail the first time, answered but don’t speak then hung up, then on the third call it went to voicemail. Since no staff responded we went to a different hotel.
- Harry (6/5): - This day was comfortable but it said breakfast but they did not have breakfast available disappointed
- Bowen (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Ranulfo (10/5): - Convenient
- Debra (6/5): - It is an older motel kept up. Could use a little attention to details like sweeping leaves around lol to make it looker cleaner. No washcloths in room. Breakfast stove not working so instead of running out to get bread or muffins they served yogurt , appple and apple juice. There was also oatmeal. No offer to give credit Our family of four will need to go somewhere else to eat as not everyone likes oatmeal and yogurt. Could have offered a bagel and toast or something simple as it was suppose to be eggs and bacon. Pool is nice and warm - old - hot tub not working or maybe shut down for summer as it is hot outside. Not a bad motel just need to pay attention to little details
- Cecilia (8/5): Very good -
- Juan C (2/5): - Almost all the rooms were empty and we were given an occupied room that has a dirty carpet and weak ac
- Lance (10/5): - Clean and nice. Quiet. Great staff. All around great especially for the price.
- Greg (2/5): Not a "good morning" - Room was reasonably clean but no desk. Business centre printer not working. No breakfast due to "stove issue". Pool area not cleaned up. Never stay here again!!!!!
- Darren (4/5): NO POOL,JACUZZI OR BREAKFAST - No pool or jacuzzi access. They know the pool and jacuzzi will not be fixed for the foreseeable future but its still advertised as though these facilities are available. Also there is no breakfast and when you ask about the lack of breakfast etc you get a real bad attitude of this one girl who should not be dealing with members of the public. Her attitude really stinks.
- Arun (1/5): Bad -
- Colleen (2/5): - Walked and and walked out. It was so dirty I didn’t want to touch anything. There was a worm crawling across the floor. The room had not been cleaned or vacuumed. Didn’t stay just left and went and got a room at Days Inn instead. Didn’t even bother trying to get a refund just wanted to get out of there stat.
- Prem (8/5): - Ok
- Jesus (10/5): - Grey place
- Ann (10/5): - They were very friendly.
- Laurence (2/5): - This property keeps changing its name but after years of ice maker on the fritz it no longer exists. The bottom sheets are so worn out they have holes in them. The front desk person is nice but the owner thinks that by skimming on service that profits can be made. This is a very hot town. Fix this stuff. It was a nice property in the past.
- Marlene (6/5): - The best was the price
- Barbara (10/5): - This place was very professionally maintained and I had had a awesome one night stay if I stay in Blythe for future lodging , this is the place to rest and relax
- Kim (2/5): - If I could give this facility a negative rating, I would. They falsely advertise facility amenities. No pool(drained), no breakfast(coffee, water, yogurt only), no front desk attendant, even during the daytime, spotty internet at best, mosquito infested property(dead mosquitos squashed all over the walls, no ice machine.
Our company has excluded this from our list of places to stay in Blythe.
Best Westen corporatie people....ARE YOU READING RATINGS WITH YOUR NAME ON THE MARQUIS?!
- Mark (6/5): - Pool and spa closed
- James (8/5): - The pool was not open.....
- Nancy (1/5): Not recommended. Dirty - Nothing Not clean, outside of toilet had feces on it. No soap in bathroom. Staff not helpful or knowledgeable. Ice machine broken. Gas grill filthy. Carpets dirty.
- William (6/5): - The room was OK, good shower. The breakfast was the poorest I've ever seen. Hardly anything offered. Eggs that were dry, no juice, coffee that I through out, scum on edges of the cup. water was the only thing I could drink.
- derek (2/5): - Nothing at this motel worked there was no working hottub or pool, the ice machine didn’t work, there were no towels in our room or soap shampoo or conditioner it was extremely loud and there was no breakfast service the next morning and there was no WiFi we never received a receipt from them, I was charged on Expedia for the room then my wife’s card was charged $100for the room after we had left that we left for the security deposit!
- Maribeth (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (6/5): - There was a wind storm and the many palm trees that surround the parking area hadn’t been properly trimmed. Large “husks” had fallen in the parking area and littered the whole area. Also, the amenities were very lacking. I don’t believe the carpet under the bed hadn’t been vacuumed in months. The tegidgerstor froze everything I put in it. There was no creamer, sweetener or stirrers for the coffee. There was no place to put a suitcase. My room was secluded from view which made me feel unsafe.
- james (2/5): - Wet carpet and dirty room, nasty breakfast.
- Gregg (6/5): - Pool and hot tub closed and drained.
- dora (8/5): - I thought the hotel and staff were nice and accommodating.
- James (4/5): - Key cards did not work. Second cards did not work either. Slow check in. Breakfast not ready one hour after scheduled start time. Body wash dispensers were empty.
- Pamela (4/5): - It was quiet but old and worn out. The pool area is beautiful
- Hall (6/5): It was a very pleasant experience. - Breakfast was enjoyable. Room was great. The pool was a disappointment because it was not open. It was covered with a tarp. Pool
- Mathew (6/5): Pleasant - Was closest hotel to venue I had to visit.
- Sarah (6/5): - Had some issues with no extra towels. Breakfast was not ready at the scheduled time.
- Diane (8/5): - Close to freeway
- Patricia (8/5): - Clean friendly
- Raya (2/5): Not the best - Pictures were fakes advertisements very small room for 4 tub dirty as heck and toilet no early check in
- Wendy (4/5): Motel, not hotel. - I didn’t end up staying at this hotel because it was a motel, not a hotel, which should be mentioned and the pool and hot tub were empty. It was also in a not very comfortable location.
- William (2/5): Would never stay here or even in Blythe again because of how poorly maintained this motel was. - This may have been the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at in 50 years on this planet.
- Timothy (4/5): - The staff needs better training and communication.
The first room was already occupied
The facility needs a lot of repairs
The roofs leaked, door locks were broken, internet only worked in the lobby.
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ronald (2/5): Worst motel in Blythe to do business with. - We arrived late from a eight hour trip the see the Gem and Mineral Show in nearby Quartzite. Upon arrival we were told that we didn't have a room due to a plumbing problem, and would have to find somewhere else to spend the night own our own. This reservation was paid in advance two weeks earlier because I knew that many of the hotels would be booked because of large crowds going to the show. The next day I received a voice mail on my phone from the hotel manager telling me that Hotels.com had overbooked my room and that I didn't have a reservation. I believe that the hotel didn't want to honor my paid rate and wanted to charge more for the room to another party.
- Rey (2/5): - When I checked in there were no lights on in the lobby and there was a kid hunched over in a chair at the front desk with his face in his phone. "Checkin in?" he did not even look up. He handed me a sheet of paper to sign and in a threatening tone warned me about 250.00 fine for smoking in the room, I don't smoke, and 250.00 fine for animals, don't have those either. Card keys did not work. All the other front desk staff were no better. Next time Days Inn across the street. Avoid this place!
- suann (2/5): - The person who checked us in was very nice. However when we got to the room, the toilet would not flush. We were moved to another room and there we experienced: the TV did not work, the carpet had not been vacuumed as there was dog kibble on the floor (whole and crushed), the bathroom floor was dirty, and the internet did not work.
There was a lot of traffic noise and sirens. There was a mattress on the front lawn and no phones in the room with which to call the front desk. And the room smelled like someone had smoked in there.
- Cassandra (2/5): - Property is filthy with mold on the walls. Poor maintenance and upkeep. Our toilet in the room was broken. The AC unit was dripping water all over the carpet. The smell in the room was awful. Most disappointing SureStay I have ever stayed in.
- Sally (2/5): - There was one hand towel and one bath towel when we checked in. Carpet was dirty in room. Room just felt unclean. Will not be staying here again.
- Fred (7/5): Reasonable value for a basic motel - Comfortable bed, in-room coffee Swimming pool was empty - no water
- John (2/5): - Zero...nothing was good.
- Amanda (4/5): - Pool and Spa was closed for the season. Only one set of towels for the room, even though we needed 3. Breakfast was decent.
- Scott (2/5): - Room was dirty, crumpled toilet paper on the floor.
WiFi did not work.
Key cards did not work, party member had to wait 20 minute's in the cold for staff to unlock their door.
Will never again use this place.
- Dale (2/5): - Hour delay for check in due to office computer offline. Did not get the reserved room. First room was not made up and had to return to the office for another room. TV did not work. Initial flow of hot water was rusty. Overall this place is not well managed or maintained. Go elsewhere.
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- Kevin (6/5): - It’s a good location and rooms fairly quiet. Street noise can’t be controlled by motel after all. Although breakfast is included, it was disappointing. Some minor details : only one towel an no washcloths. No hand soap for bathroom sink. Wall dispensers in shower hard to operate. But overall: Priced right
- James (6/5): - the place needs alot of work. room only set up for one person instead of two. nothing like the picture on line. the only thing was a good bed
- Hudawg (7/5): Good -
- David (10/5): - Easy to find and friendly efficient front desk staff.
Thank you!!
- Judith (8/5): - Surpringly comfy
- Johnie (8/5): - Quick checkin with very pleasant staff
