The bed was very comfortable, check in was easy and the person at the front desk who's name I unfortunately can't remember was SUPER nice. The room was very cheap and my expectations were greatly exceeded. If I had to nit pick, the front parking lot was full so I had to park in the back to carry all my stuff in. Perhaps I could have stopped out front temporarily to do this and make the trips shorter, but I'm not the kind of person that would jam up the parking lot for my convenience lol.

The breakfast is at extra charge and u only get to choose from the 3 different shaded areas on on small menu. The food is average. They say free coffee 24 hours but when I awoke early after asking for a blanket at front desk the coffee was old.

- Kimberley (6/5): Good stay but double check details direct with hotel - The room was comfortable and spacious. The location was good to base myself from for my reason for visiting the area. I was disappointed that the pool closed a week earlier than advertised on booking.com. When I raised this with the staff they told me that booking.com were told it closed on 2 Sept and not 9 Sept. Having the outdoor pool available for my daughter was the main reason I chose this hotel over the nearby Travelodge so it was disheartening that my toddler missed out on nearly a week of playing in the pool.

- Gabriel (10/5): A good choice. - A very well-located hotel, interesting architecture. The room was spacious and clean, as it also was the washroom. Furniture in good shape and comfortable. The heated outdoor pool, gym and free parking a great value. We were offered free breakfast on first day. That was a misunderstanding. I woke up my son so we wouldn't miss the convenience of the free breakfast. But that was a mistake. Just tea, coffee, yogurt and cereals should be called free snacks, not "breakfast". We went for breakfast somewhere else after that.

- Michelle (7/5): Near the downtown with a good price and nice outdoor pool - Location was great and close to the hospital and the downtown area. The outdoor pool was a great temperature and the rooms were very comfortable. It'a a little dated but a good stay for the price.

Bed was comfortable, but when we turned on the tv it was hard to find the regular channels. But other than that we would come back and let our friends know about Best Western.

- Jon Stirtz (8/5): A one night stay - All that was made available in the location and the room itself was quite nice and made our stay enjoyable for the short period we were there. It would have been nice to have better pictures of the grounds, better clarity on pool and hot tub access, and it was regrettable that for the price paid on such a short stay that a breakfast the next day wasn't actually included. The online Booking.com listing seemed to indicate it would be part of the purchase but onsite information said that it only pertained to Mondays when a bagged breakfast is available. We found this somewhat misleading as having a meal included the next day was why we chose this site over a competitor, and though the price for the meal was highly reasonable the feeling of being misled while we made our stay selection was very displeasing.

- Sandra (6/5): Disappointed - Overall I had no complaint with the property itself. I was extremely disappointed to learn the breakfast nook was closed, due to the lack of a chef. The breakfast option was one of the factors determining my stay at this particular property. We were offered cold take breakfast which was not at all appetizing. The one carafe of coffee was terrible.

- Anna (6/5): Seriously disappointed - There was no hot breakfast. When I arrived I was told that the chef is taking a day off, so the boxed breakfast would be provided instead. That was not ok, especially since I booked through Booking.com, and the option with breakfast was more expensive. Yet the guy at the front desk said that breakfast was not an expected included service anyway (seriously!) The only reason I took a 80 km detour was for the good quality of my stay that included breakfast last time. Also, when I asked for additional bedding for the pull out couch, he murmured something in the line of 'this is extra', and first did not even bring two sheets, I actually had to explain that one sheet is the one to sleep on and the other one is to cover yourself. The quality of bedding was poor on both the bed and the pull out couch. I can't believe how overcharged I was for the hotel that used to be so good just few years ago. They used to care about the guests.

- Judy (5/5): I would rate hotel 6.8. Overall Staff was friendly and assisted when requested. - I love the wall to wall counter space in the bathroom, the water pressure was excellent. You are able to watch you tube on the TV, the room is spacious enough though not the most spacious I have been in. House keeping service for room was poor. We had to ask them daily for towels and change the garbage ourselves and give it to the front desk, we had to ask for more toiletries including toilet paper. The sign was showing "Make up room" nobody made up the room.

- Lauren (6/5): - We loved the proximity to beaches and stores. The gentleman at the front desk who we dealt with primarily was excellent, kind, helpful, and easily the best part of our stay. We were a little bit concerned with cleanliness. We found some strange hairs (photo below) in our bed and noticed a pest control man heading in as we were heading out. Otherwise excellent!

No breakfast included in the price which was disappointing. Paid $270 for one night. Limited hotel options in Simcoe. You get what you get in small towns. We grabbed Tim Hortons on the way out for breakfast options. Couldn't use the hotel restaurant as it opened at 7 a.m.

- George (6/5): - You people are scammers nowhere on the app did it say that I’d be paying you $250 security deposit on my credit card for which it takes five business days to get back which could end up being two weeks with weekends and holidays this is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Why not just at least offer to pay cash that way you’d get it back the next day I cannot afford to keep spending $250 every night while I’m travelling in the hopes I’ll get it back in two weeks that adds up the bills on my credit card. This is a total scam

- Katy (6/5): our stay was great except for the water issues. - water pressure was very low. tap in shower was loose and it was hard to get the shower to work. the water had to be set fairly hot in order for it to work.
- X2301PUdanb (2/5): Worst hotel ever! - Found hair all over the bathroom and in the bed. The place is run down and old. The room temp was either to hot or to cold. The walls are paper thin and could not get sleep. I had to buy blankets and a pillow to put over the dirty bed. If this hotel wasn't my only choice I would have left.
