There was a large group of people above us having a party after our kid's bedtime. A lot of jumping, yelling, and screaming (yes, literal screaming every few minutes). When showering in the morning, I was about halfway done when the water went from normal to scalding with me under it. It's been years since I've had to deal with anything like this in a hotel.

The location was a short walk from the start/finish line of the Eugene marathon which was so nice. It was way overpriced even considering that it was the Eugene marathon weekend. The room was clean but outdated, and had a musty odor.

- Cherie (7/5): - My room was thankfully NOT in the horse-shoe shaped area of hotel which circled the parking lot and became quite niosy. Being across the street from the University and the firat night of Spring break. My room was on the side of building with no parking and no people, so thankfully very quiet. I only came for a quick overnight so all I needed was a clean safe place for sleeping and this suited the bill nicely. This is not a luxery hotel. The whole place could do with a remodel. It was inexpensively made to start with.

Nice area to walk your pet. Very near the university and several restaurant options are within walking distance. Everything was great!

The room was clean and convenient access to outside considering we have a dog that needs to be taken out periodically. More breakfast variety. The bathroom is very small and need more counterspace and storage.

- Judy (9/5): My overall experience was very good! - The breakfast was fine, with many good choices of food. The corner room was very dark, with no outside light , I believe room 122. I used my cellphone's flashlight to confirm the room number and then use the key-card to get in.

- PAUL (7/5): Overall, it was a nice and comfortable stay. Please improve on the breakfast. - The room was excellent—very clean, with a super comfortable bed that made it easy to relax. I especially enjoyed the small balcony, which gave me a peaceful spot to sit and watch the ducks. It was a nice little touch that made the stay feel more relaxing. Parking was also simple and convenient, which is always appreciated after a long day of travel. Breakfast was honestly a letdown this time around. I usually try to stay at Best Western whenever it's an option, and a big part of that is because of the breakfast—it’s always something I look forward to, especially the waffle station. There’s something about making your own fresh waffle in the morning that just starts the day off right. It’s become a bit of a tradition for me. That’s why I was so disappointed to find that there weren’t any waffles available during this stay. No waffle batter, no waffle maker—nothing. It might sound small, but when you come to expect a certain level of consistency from a brand, and one of your favorite parts is suddenly missing, it does take away from the experience. I hope this was just a one-off issue and not a permanent change, because the waffle station has always been a standout feature of the Best Western breakfast.

Great - The lobby is attractive and has coffee, cocoa, and tea at all times. Desk clerks 24/7. With winter break at U of O, hotel was quiet, relaxed, flexible while being in handy location. Good place to unwind at the pool or sauna. Very good breakfast.

- Jeanne and Bill (8/5): - It was our first time and we would stay again. Pet friendly was an important feature. We paid $20 for our pet for one night. At the NEXT Best Western in Arcata CA, they charged us $35 which I thought was high for one night. We liked everything.

- O6820SIheatherp (10/5): We love Best Western! - We love staying at Best Western hotels. We stayed in room 228, two bedroom suite. The rooms are big and the heating/cooling system works great! The beds are comfortable and the pillows are nice. The shower pressure is good too! The only weird thing was the location of the toilet; it's an awkward space and located by the bathroom door. We would definitely stay in this room again! Super nice! The housekeeping team is awesome! So accommodating and helpful, bringing us more coffee, towels and any items needed! They have a continental breakfast which we have yet to try. A bit bummed that they don't have a hot tub but they do have an indoor Pool, sauna and gym.

There is a small Pizza place a block down we walked to - neighborhood was safe, clean and the food there was fabulous. The team at BW were on it! Very clean rooms, private - accommodating and helpful. A positive for a challenging reason for this trip. Excellent!

Our room was well appointed and clean, smelling good. The pool was wonderful and breakfast facility, one of the best we have ever encountered. Applause to the cleaning & breakfast staff. Breakfast was nice, with a good amount of hot food options. Staff was pretty friendly too. Location is right next to the UO campus. Room was smaller than I expected. The shower area was too small to get even a basic shower done.

- Glena (9/5): Great location in Eugene - This was in a great location for the work location I needed to access. It is across the street from the UofO as well. The parking was plentiful and easy to access. There was plenty of room in the breakfast area. There was no business center, but the staff allowed me to work in the breakfast area until my room was ready. My room had not been thoroughly cleaned. It smelled like someone had thrown up in the room. The staff provided me with an air spray that helped.

- Anita (10/5): Comfy and restful - We had a room on the first floor, far from the street. It felt very private and restful. The gray color scheme wouldn't quit. I felt like I was in a black and white photograph. Even the artwork in our room was predominantly gray and very dreary in their subject matter. I laughed out loud when we went in the dining room for breakfast and all the furnishings were gray. The 2 parking places in the corner of the lot right outside our room would have been very difficult to get out of. I don't think they should be parking places. I think they should be marked as walkways.
