Stacey at Reception very kindly did a lot of research before she gave us another room, which was MUCH better than the first one anyway. Kudos to Stacey for her compassion & her excellent efforts to assure us of a perfect stay.❤️

- Kaitlin (8/5): Dated hotel but clean and comfortable. - All the staff I encountered was amazing (shout out Stacey!). The rooms are dated but comfortable. My sheets and a towel had some staining but nothing crazy. My first room has a trap door to the attic that was not locked which freaked me out (room 211), but Stacey was kind and quickly transferred me to another room. Room 204 was great aside from the AC blew directly on you when in bed. Unfortunately there’s no “fan only” option so I’d wake up when AC kicked on and was freezing. I turned the temp up the next night but it would still kick on. I think the bed needs to be on the opposite wall (also not looking at the door in bed, then). Breakfast was excellent, hot breakfast with continental options.

- Steven (10/5): - Nice room, clean and quiet. Property is very close to town, shopping, dining, the beaches and parks. Bed was comfortable. We didn't have the breakfast, so can't say how it was. Our Keurig didn't work the first morning, but they fixed it for us during the day. The toilet, however, dripped water 24/7, and the valve ran about every 60 seconds. That didn't get fixed but it was a minor annoyance. All in all, a good stay and would recommend.

The rooms are showing their age and in need of a significant renovation - it didn't bother us much in the past but now for the price it's definitely not worth it, even a higher end resort costing more than double is looking like a bargain.

We took the largest bed as the adults but there was no a/c in that room. it seemed silly for a couple of reasons. A hotel room without adequate air conditioning - is reason enough to NOT return.
- Valerie (4/5): - Great place for families with kids not so much for adults. Room needs up grades for there 4 star rating. Bathroom door would not fully ooen and close due getting stuck on floor. Main room door was not secure as it didn’t close compltely. No roim darkening blinds, roim was totally lit up from outside lights at night. Cost of stay was over priced and over rated.

Promotes Hot Breakfast but ran out of almost all the baked goods at least an hour before end of breakfast timeline and was told everything was frozen so no more coming out. One lady working breakfast was rude and seemed like she had no time for questions. Rooms are good but on the smaller side, awkward fridge cabinet. Very weak showers. "Playground" was just 2 metals slides and one little swing set, hardly a "playground". Otherwise it was a basic hotel that served its purpose. Probably would look at different options if going back again.
- sharon (6/5): - Overall the property was clean and what you would expect, pricing was fair, room was clean, and breakfast was better than the usual continental breakfast offered at other hotels, however the staff at the front fesk was very inaccomodating. Our room wasn’t ready at their check in time and we had an engagement that we needed to attend that required us checking in and freshening up. They did not care or try to offer any solution, we wait g in the parking lot for an hour, we shared our unpleasant experience with the manager whom didn’t even bother to reply to an email. This business is fortunate to have an ideal location, and they offer service based on this! I will say the lovey lady in the breakfast area deserves a shout out-

- Samantha (8/5): - The outdoor space is very nice, lots of pool chairs and tables to sit at. Little things for the kids to play on. They could be updated, but still nice to have something. The bbq area is definitely nicer than most places. The BBQs themselveson the inside need to be cleaned more often, but they do work. The room we had was a suite. Its a bit outdated. Could use a change if blinds/curtains, new lamp shades, and a new couch and that would change the feel already. Could have been cleaned a bit better, this dishes in the kitchen were bit cleaned well at all. We had to wash everything again. Also our fridge wasnt getting cold enough. Had maintenance come check on it, but it didn't do much. So we didn't buy any food to keep in the fridge that would spoil. If we needed anything, we had to get it that day. Freezer didn't even freeze our ice packs. Other than that, it was an alright stay. Unfortunately

Desk was too low for chair to be placed easily under it. Facility has gone a long way down hill since we last stayed there 2 years ago.

- Terri (4/5): - Wanted to love it here!! Reserved a room with two beds, got a bed and a hide a bed, which was fine because it was two adults and two kids, but the mattress on the hide a bed was so bad that the springs were painful. Asked for a solution at the front desk and was told there were no other rooms, but that housekeeping would bring a couple of duvets to put on the mattress. Seven hours later there were no duvets, and close to bedtime for the kids, so I went to the front desk again and asked for some duvets as promised earlier. This time I was told they are not allowed to give out extra blankets and she was sorry…..nothing she could do… We eventually got one blanket, but the mattress was still very painful to sleep on. The kids found prescription pills on one of the tables, and the dust was so thick that we wrote our names on the TV stand. The worst part was that the air conditioning was blowing warm air and would not blow cold. Maintenance came up and said we had the temp set too low, so we set it higher…still hot air, maintenance came up again and set it themselves, still hot air…. the customer service was terrible!! We felt like they just didn’t care in the slightest, and we just had to deal with it. None of us slept well, and my daughter was there for the triathlon, so that was pretty sad. This was supposed to be a fun trip for us to spend time together, and instead we paid almost $400/night for a $100/room…so disappointing
- Cassie (10/5): - We had ground floor suite room and it was amazing for the kids to play and adults to relax in the courtyard. Breakfast was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The only one downfall was the ac in the suite room wasn’t working very well.
- Sherena (10/5): - Hot tub and indoor pool plus outdoor pool was great. Open courtyard with slide and swings were perfect for little ones. The outdoor barbecues were a bonus. The variety of food at breakfast was quite amazing. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Staff were friendly. Only complaint was the shower curtain. Too short and magnets were not effective in keeping the curtain from blowing around.

- Darlene (4/5): - The customer service was unacceptable as we wanted a firmer bed and to be on the lower floor as we have medical issues and told them so. We explained it kindly. Hence so we didn’t have to walk up a flight of stairs as there was no elevator. Especially with all our luggage. Also burn holes in the curtain and wanted a non smoking room. There was black marks all around the floors in various areas. The tub edges were black in a lot of places where the caulking was. The bathtub had cloth shower curtains and never closed properly and it leaked water everywhere in the corner and soaked the floor. The office woman when we arrived that Thursday was rude and unaccomadating after asking her to please switch to another room as we had seen others vacate and leave. I asked her that they could kindly clean our room as it was still clean and change rooms. She said it was full? How does each customer even know what room they are going to have? We didn’t know either. There was a big hole on the outside walkway outside our room and had to step over it and was very dangerous. My husband is a red seal roofer and he said it was soft and do not walk on it. Your leg can fall straight through. I almost never noticed it. The food employees for breakfast were so kind and the food was good. I really hope Best Western Inn improves the safety in their Inn for their dedicated customers. Also had them clean our room and they didn’t vacuum the carpet as we had accidentally broke a cracker on the carpet.

The bathtub would not drain during a shower and the liner of the tub was bubbling so bad it was dangerous standing in the shower. I almost fell multiple times. Burn holes in the curtains. Outdoor pool not working. It was not what we expected at all.

The room wasn't too bad, but the area outside was in bad shape, cracked concrete, puddles in the hallway from A/C, crumbled siding, dirty everywhere and the pool had no water. The room had no bottled water, like most places do, and the bathroom vent was almost falling off from cracked drywall. The tv had to be propped up in order to watch because it wasn't mounted properly. The breakfast was ok, self serve, buffet style. For the cost of this room, we expected better. We will NEVER stay at a Best Western again.
- Kenneth (6/5): - Very poor sound insulation between neighbouring units (on same floor or room above). Water pressure in shower was fantastic. But drainage form all plumbing is alarmingly slow. Room was actually quite nice. Also need to install better black-out curtains since the property keeps an amazing number of yard lights on all night. (Terrible light pollution.) Staff was really nice. Room was cleaned well.
