Beds were not comfortable. We were a little disappointed at the size of the boardwalk. Based on what we'd seen on the internet, we thought it would be longer.

• Crystal (9/5): Cozy and very nice place to stay, atmosphere amazing and right on the water. - Beautiful atmosphere. Things to do and very nice area. Upon arrival the place smelled great! Not sure if it’s an air freshener or not but would love to steal that scent for my home! The beds could be a more comfortable.

From the lobby, to the rooms, the grounds in between and our favorite area the pool. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, one of the better free hotel breakfasts. The pool and hot tub were perfect, offered great views of the river. The additional outdoor seating areas were a great place to stay in the shade during the heat of the day or a relaxing well lit nighttime escape. The Paddletail is the perfect distance from the small Crystal River downtown for a short walk to the restaurants, cafes and shops.

• Familie Lausch (9/5): - Sehr schöne Lage, freundliches Personal, Parkplatz, gutes Frühstück und das Zimmer war sehr gut. Auch den Pool haben wir bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen genutzt. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
• Torsten (5/5): - Wir fanden die Empfangshalle sehr nett, super liebes Personal und viele Spiele. Auch die Möglichkeit zu Waschen war toll. Die Lage am Wasser war für uns der Grund warum wir dieses Hotel wählten. Frühstück war überraschend hübsch, nachdem wir viele schlechte Bewertungen darüber gelesen haben, dies wurde anscheinend verbessert. Der Frühstücksraum war hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Klima-Anlage war sehr laut, Poolbereich sehr klein für die vielen Gäste. Die Manatee Tour war preislich grenzwertig, wenn man bedenkt, dass man in dem Hafenbecken vor lauter Seegras und aufgewühltem Dreck kaum was sieht und dann nochmal 40 Dollar zahlt damit man die Fotos bekommt. Was wir leider aber bei jedem "günstigeren Hotel in Florida leider bemängeln müssen": Diese Müllberge von Plastikgeschirr. Nur Plastik- oder Papierteller, - Becher bzw Kunstoffbesteck zum Frühstück. Man kann weder Bagel schneiden noch Butter darauf schmieren mit diesen Messern. Der Kaffee aus Pappbecher zu trinken hat keine Kultur und der sonst schon sehr schwache Kaffee schmeckt auch nicht besser darin. Es ist der Wahnsinn, wieviel Geld diese Hotelkette sparen könnte mit richtigen Messern und Tellern, Bechern und Tassen. Ein Geschirrspüler kostet nicht viel und die Natur würde danke sagen.

The sheets had loose hair and makeup or something colored smeared on them and debris on them when we checked in. I called the desk and they brought new ones. Also the floor was so dirty it made our feet black and covered with dirt/debris.

• RESSEL (7/5): Bon hôtel pour une excursion avec les lamantins, mais sortie décevante - Hôtel idéal comme étape pour effectuer une sortie avec les lamantins le lendemain matin. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. En revanche, la salle de bain était très petite. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était simple mais efficace. La piscine est agréable, située au bord du ponton où se trouvent les bateaux. Des restaurants sont présents à côté de l’hôtel, au bord de l’eau. Nous avons effectué la sortie avec les lamantins via la société située juste à côté de l’hôtel. Malheureusement, aucun effort n’a été fait par notre guide pour que nous comprenions bien les explications : il parlait très vite en anglais. De plus, nous n'avons pu voir qu'un seul Lamantin car l'eau était toute verte à cause des algues

Si la vue enchante, le confort intérieur mériterait un sérieux coup de frais : entre une climatisation un brin sonore, des rideaux timides face au jour et une literie qui donne de la voix à chaque mouvement, le repos est plus incertain que le petit-déjeuner, très classique. Une étape à privilégier pour le cadre, en acceptant un confort un peu rustique. »

• Kim Christin (10/5): Perfekte Lage und traumhafter Aufenthalt - Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Es liegt direkt am Wasser und hat einen kleinen gepflegten Pool mit Liegen und Stühlen. Man kann von dort aus alle möglichen Touren machen, wie schnorcheln oder Kanu fahren. Einen kleinen Shop gibt es auch und das Frühstück ist super. Eine Bar ist auch direkt am Hotel mit Blick aufs Wasser. Man muss also nicht weg fahren und kann nach einem leckeren Cocktail direkt ins Bett fallen. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Personal ist super freundlich und man fühlt sich insgesamt sehr wohl. Wir persönlich mochten die Betten nicht so gerne, da sie quietschen sobald man sich dreht. Das war aber auch das Einzige.

We had to arrive and wait for someone to show up at the desk which was about 10 min. Then no one answered the phone from my room to the lobby to ask a question. The pool hours need to be a little longer then closing at 9pm

The room was nice and big, and I liked that it came with a small kitchenette. The front desk staff were not that friendly, and the bathroom and room were not as clean as they could have been. Also, I did not love the location of where we were. No elevators made it difficult to haul all of our luggage to the second floor (where our room was), and the parking is kind of cramped.

• michael (10/5): Overall a fantastic stay and my boys can’t wait to go back! - I like that it was a little spread out, and not everything on top of everything. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great and you literally have access to anything you could want to do in Crystal River directly from the property. You could literally park your vehicle in one spot in the parking lot for an entire week and be able to do everything you could want. On-site Tiki Bar and Grille has really great food as well! Plus you can walk to boardwalk to other dining places. The absolute only thing that wasn’t my favorite is the location of the a/c units in building 1. They are in the back of the building. The back area inside the room where it’s located in front of the bathroom is a small open room that opens into the main area, and that little room gets far cooler than the rest of the actual area where the beds and everything else is. The only issue with that is you end up having to turn the air down cooler and run the fan higher than what you would normally have to. If you could only adjust the direction of the airflow from the actual units, it would absolutely cut down on cooling costs per room.
• toela (8/5): Not a bad place to stay, in an area that's sooo worth seeing ! - This hotel is huge, with many buildings. It's had a "soft" reno, but its still a pretty old facility. The price was average at $225/nt all in The positives: Location, Location, Location ! Great breakfast included with lots of choices. No Resort Fees and Free Parking, add to the value. The area didn't seem to have a lot of other hotel options, which makes this place stay busy. We really like the Crystal River area, which still has the "Old Florida" feel.

• ANNE (8/5): SEJOUR CONFORTABLE ET SITUATION IMPECCABLE - Emplacement en bord de rivière au calme, bien que l'on soit le long d'une route nationale très fréquentée. Etablisseemnt très propre, chmabr très sapceiuse, belle salle de bain. Décoration soignée. Possède un restaurant extérieur avec vue côté rivière avec une terrasse tout en bois, qui nous fait nous sentir en vacances dès notre arrivée. Personnel au resto, très serviable et convivial. Large choix de mets. Piscine petite si l'hôtel est complet, mais le but de séjourner ici est d'aller à la rencontre des Lamantins en saison hivernale, dolnc la piscine n'est ps la priorité. L'hôtel possède un bureau qui propose de multiples excursions en bateau et sorties ludiques pour ls familles. Donc cela permet de pouvoir organiser facilement ses activités familiales sur place. Bonne adresse que je recommande, même si le prix de la chambre me semble élévé à mon goût, pour la ville. Je pense que l'aflux de touristes pour les lamantins permet cette liberté. Mais d'autres villes plus courues sur ce Golfe du Mexique pratiquent des prix moindres ... RIEN
