• HARRY (6/5): - The room rate was high for a hotel in that area of the state. I called the Hotels.com telephone number and the rate was $154/Day. When I checked the website the rate was $116/Day. They said the rate was high because it was the weekend and they had only a few rooms left. I booked the hotel online. They offered a guaranteed rate fee for $4.50 but charged me $9.00 for that service on my credit card. When I got to the hotel at about 7:30 PM, it was like a ghost town, not even half full. The room appeared to be clean, but there was a musty smell in the bathroom. After taking a shower I raised the tub mat and realized were the musty smell was coming from in the bathroom. The mat was black and covered with mold and mildew. It was gross. I also had a problem needing more bath towels the room only had 2. The front desk clerk said that was normal for 2 guest and I would have to wait until the next day after 9:00 AM to get additional towels. I did not get the towels until about 10:00 AM the next day when I was about to check out. Also the room should have bottled water, I had to pay $1.50/bottle for water. Needless to say I didn’t enjoy my stay at your hotel.
• Joy (6/5): - The motel was convenient to the interstate but you didn't hear the road noise inside the room. The air conditioning unit, however, was very loud. This is definitely an older facility in a fairly run-down area, but did not feel unsafe. The sheets and towels were very thin; the room was dated but clean, and had good internet, good tv, and enough outlets to charge our devices.

• Q6448CPronaldj (2/5): Best Western but not in Delhi - My room was downgraded but the payment was the same... I extended my stay for another night because I was working in the area. My room was downgraded again the second time to an even less room after I paid but the price was the same. When I mentioned the downgraded rooms the staff said they could charge up to a $250 and could not change the room. I only stayed because of the location. I love Best Western Rewards and Best Western but this hotel should not be allowed to share the Best Western name.

The manager refuses to refund my money so I will be forced to do a charge back on my card. That way I get my money back and he can’t double dip on the room and rent it to someone else.

• Peter (6/5): Basic rooms - A basic no frills place to stay if you are in the area. AC unit seemed to give me a slight sinus infection after two or three nights. Friendly and helpful staff though. Easy access to highway and surrounding roads. WIFI in Rm 23 was WEAK.

• Kristine (10/5): Great place to stay. - Very easy access to hotel. Very quiet (except for the Cicadas which I love) Once inside you couldn't hear any outside noise. Nice breakfast in the morning. I didn't use the pool but it looked clean and refreshing. We just didn't have the time. Close to Vicksburg for sight-seeing as well.

• Verified traveler (4/5): The best option in this area? - Looked clean - until we went into the bathroom. The shower wall had a white film over about 1/3 of the tiles. Otherwise the room was clean. A de-humidifier kept the stale smell out which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and then put into the pan on the counter where they dried out even more. We had to ask for more of most foods; they just hadn't put much out. Coffee was good. Property is seriously in need of updating outside, but the room was decent inside

• 153marlenet (8/5): Nice stay for visit to Poverty Point - We enjoy going to Poverty Point and have stayed at a lodge and at cabins in the past, but none were available this time. We found this Best Western on the tripadvisor.com site and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. The location is good, right off I-20, a short drive past a hotel where I probably would not have wanted to spend the night. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the room was large and clean. Having the sink for the bathroom outside in the middle of the room was unusual, but it worked. The lighting in the king suite we had is probably the brightest I've found in a hotel. One drawback is that the "sofa" is love-seat size and not a sleeper--not too comfortable for a 10-year-old to spend 2 nights. Fast food restaurants are just a short drive to the other side of the interstate, and the Black Bear Bistro is worth the drive for a good meal.

Rick on the desk made up for it - he was very nice and accommodating. Went out of his way to get us tea and sugar we asked for, even though he was on duty alone. The morning staff was alone also and doing breakfast duty besides, but did an admirable job of both! Breakfast had a good choice of food items, but was a bit skimpy in quantity because of earlier guests taking too much.

• joyclark5 (8/5): Nice Stay - We had a king room, which was quite large. Sitting area, desk, bathroom in the middle, with sink outside of bathroom, then bed. Two TVs, one in sitting area, one in bedroom area. Everything was clean, no bad odors. It was very quiet, and the bed was super comfy. The only negative is that there were only two bath towels. We need at least three. I’d definitely stay here again.

• 770francesm (4/5): Old and Dingy - Everything in this hotel needs redoing. The room had terrible lighting, even missing a bulb in a lamp. The towels were thin and dingy color. Gave 1 towel each. The bed seemed smaller than a normal king and the bedding didn't have a fitted sheet. Little square pillows for sleeping. Needs a good cleaning and painting. Minimal choices for breakfast. Will not be back.

Management is obviously continuing to upgrade many things. Passion and Carlotta were superb front desk personnel. Breakfast could be improved by offering oatmeal. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Will stay here again.

• Phillip (8/5): - Very quiet, clean and close to the interstate. Breakfast was a "Grab and go" and a $50 incidental feel was required. I asked about a Veteran's discount, since it was Veteran's Day, but it was not acknowledged. Staff members were all very nice.

I had a large room with a seating area and it was not only spacious, but really comfortable! In room coffee, microwave and fridge were very much appreciated along with the ceiling fan! I only have one frustrating comment to make about the property - it would be helpful to clarify online and at checkin about breakfast. With the photos and descriptions on Hotels.com and Best Western - it can be assumed that breakfast was a sit down offering since the photos show your seating area. No one told me at check in that breakfast was limited to a "grab and go" sack. The only sign that displayed this was hidden behind the open door to the breakfast area and the night manager did not mention that when I checked in. I even asked her what breakfast was being served. There was an plastic sign on the desk displaying "grab and go" was available, but did not clarify that this was all you get for breakfast. So, the comfort and cleanliness of the room and property were great, breakfast not so much. Needless to say, there were only limited options nearby for a meal before heading to my work site.

• Nicholas (2/5): Skip this one - The hotel was dirty and consisted to two buildings. The ice maker did not work so you had to go to a different building. The parking lot was dirty as well as the side walk's. Our room smelled of cigarettes', so we were moved to another room. There was NO breakfast. There was supposed to be breakfast, when we arrived for breakfast, the clerk at the front came in and put two sausage and biscuits and two muffins out This was a VERY VERY disappointing stay!

Confused owner.. - We got there late at night and the man turned us away after we booked over a week in advance and placed our credit card which wasn’t suppose to be used at all just to hold it was charged and declined because we did not have a limit of what our full total was on it but I had called and told them we would be using our bank card and make sure everything was ok after that happened. They assured us we where fine and the room would be held. We drove 5 hours and 6 children only to get there and be told no we couldn’t stay because of the card issue so my husband asked could we just rent a room and the man told him NO. So we left and I called back and he agreed to rent a room but why not let us rent one when we where there the first time is beyond me. We finally got our room and got some rest he apologized but just wish he could have rented it to us instead of all the hassle.
• Susan (10/5): Excellent Handicap Accessible Room - AMAZING, handicap accessible room. Everything was lodging must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The bed, the tub and toilet, the height of items were perfect! The room was very clean and comfortable. I will stay there again on my travels. They take great pride in making this hotel neat, clean and safe.
• rickd2092022 (8/5): Delhi LA - first time staying in this area and was pleasantly surprised, if and when in the area again i will stay here, staff was very nice, enough places around to eat. it has been a long time since i stayed somewhere that the door opened to the outside and not a hallways which brought back tons of flash backs lol

• Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing King Suites - Incredible for the area. I didnt expect much and this hotel blew my mind. It was clean, spacious, modern, quiet, and just overall a great place to stay. The check in process was quick and easy. I had a issue with my iron but it was replaced in less than 2 minutes. Getting something replaced that fast is impressive to be honest. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Pool was as dark as the Mississippi river. Paid full price and brought up these things to woman in morning and she did not care. NEVER again this place.

• 291genej (8/5): Newly renovated hotel just south of I-20/Rt 17 junction. - My wife and I arrived at 3:30 PM for our 1 night stay using a hotel Pre Pay. A masked receptionist behind glass quickly checked my driver's licence and prepayment then issued our key card. We drove ahead to Room # 43 in the 2nd building. The 1st floor room was uniquely designed entering to the living area with a couch, desk and TV (Direct TV-100 channels), then wash station with refer, micro and coffee across from the bathroom with tub shower, and finally a comfortable king bed and closet. Thus, we enjoyed quiet sleeping away from the entry and its AC/heat unit. We had good WiFi, unobtrusive window AC/heat and an outdoor pool that was closed. Covid signs were posted but with the wide spacing of a motel, few complied. The 6 AM breakfast was reluctantly provided due to Covid Caution: OJ, coffee, peanut butter and cereal. Location is just off busy I-20 with Brookshire's Grocery .7 mile north with fast foods in between. We had a good stay at this clean 45 room hotel paying $91 per night.
• Katrinal1925 (10/5): Great Hotel!! - My Husband and I stayed at the Delhi Best Western and we are so pleased we did! The ONLY con was the room was a little damp, they have damp rid near the bed to help, but it really doesn't. But that will not keep us from staying again. Now on to the pros: I will start with the amazing young man who checked us in, What a fantastic man,Very friendly and accommodating, a true pleasure to deal with, now onto the room, we had room 18, it was clean, the bed was nice, the water pressure was great, the AC was ice cold, the wi-fi was a little slow, but not too bad, we will definitely stay again when coming through Delhi La. Thank you for a wonderful nights sleep.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff is all very friendly. The breakfast was great each morning with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice, and waffles and pastries. Our family enjoyed our stay.
• Timothy (8/5): Clean, average - Not bad. Comfortable bed, full DirectTV lineup- lots of channels! Full breakfast, bacon, eggs, waffles, cereal, etc.
• TroyD400 (8/5): Good stay, quiet hotel - Everyone was super friendly. The breakfast was a little better than other comparable hotels. It was a very quiet stay. The room had some recent upgrades. Clean carpet, frig, microwave, the usual. I did find the air in the room to feel a little damp. Behind the chair I found a container of DampRid that was all used up so I figured they were trying to fight the dampness in the room. There was NO mold that I could see.
