We had traveled all day, we were tired, and he just lit up the place with his warm heart and amazing hospitality. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, it was just the perfect stay. Very modern, extremely clean, and Ty at the front desk had me at hello. Our room was meticulous. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend it to everyone! Ty even helped to set me up with a BW account.

• nisiebug21 (10/5): Perfect stop off - My husband, our dog, and I were on a long road trip and decided to find a place for the night. Obviously we needed pet friendly, and this Best Western fit our needs. At the counter, I was met by a very nice man. He helped me get the best rate for our room. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. There was plenty of grassy space for our dog to do her business. If we ever venture this way again, we will stay here.

We were traveling through for one night it was perfect. We also had our dog and we were not overcharged for her. Some places are ridiculous. There are plenty of places to go for a meal a couple miles down the road. Will stay here again when we are passing through.

The room, lobby, and breakfast area are well maintained, sanitation was exemplary, and the grounds are fantastic and well thought out, which provides a nice area to relax with friends and family as if in your own backyard with a gazebo, small fire pit, a grill fit for a family reunion and landscape great for sitting around enjoying its beauty or curling up with a book, as well as a lovely pool to sit by and look at the stars or take a dip in summer months. Felt safe, welcomed, and all needs were met with a smile the duration of my stay. The staff are hardworking, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable and the breakfast they offer is delicious! I will definitely be returning as often as possible and refer friends and family.

I won't waste my time or money any place else! From check-in to check-out this place exceeded all expectations and the hot breakfast can't be beat! Absolutely will be back!

Check in staff were friendly helpful and we got a clean room, nice updated bathroom shower, good hot breakfast and pleasant staff. When my husband left his CPAP machine cord behind, Ty helped locate it and will mail it back to us. Great service, Will definitely return on our trip back through.
• Camper37065360574 (10/5): Very clean and great outdoor space - We ended up at this hotel unexpectedly when our vehicle broke down on a road trip. We ended up staying for 4 nights while our truck was in the shop. We were traveling with a kiddo and dog. The room was very clean and they did everything they could to make us comfortable. The outdoor gazebo space was comfortable and we spent many hours playing cards there. All of the staff were friendly, honest and welcoming.

• Paul (8/5): - Very nice place to stay at . It has very thing you need breakfast in the morning, a coffee machine in your room, a swimming pool, iron, ironing board. The room was clean the bathroom was immaculate on arrival with extra soap, shampoo and conditioner, plenty of towels, a great shower water was plenty hot or cool and just enough pressure, the toilet even worked well.

• Cheryl (10/5): - This has been my go-to hotel the last two years, whenever I'm in town to visit a friend of mine. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The staff are always very nice and accommodating, the rooms are always clean, and the area is quiet and safe. There's a Powell's Dairy Freeze drive-thru ice cream place that has very good ice cream and it's not expensive! It's literally next door... You can walk there. There's also a variety of restaurants such as Beef O'Grady's, Granny's Country Kitchen, Laredo (Mexican), Sonny's BBQ, to name a few. There's also a Walgreen's and a gas station nearby. I have yet to use the pool (I have bleach blonde hair, so getting in the pool would turn my hair green LOL), but I have seen the pool, and it's very inviting! I am always sooo tempted to jump in!!! And the pool is open until 10 p.m., not 8 p.m., like most places, so that's cool. The rooms always have a fresh, clean smell, and the a/c always works. The shower is very nice, and everything looks updated. Not this visit, but on a past visit, the hair dryer came in handy because I had forgotten to bring mine... Theirs was a life saver! I absolutely love Best Western. This location was recommended to me by my friend, and now I recommend it to others. It's a Michelin key hotel in my book!

The breakfast was delicious. Our only disappointment was the pool was closed for renovations. But no worries we went down the road to the local KOA, rented a tent site and enjoyed the beautiful pool there during the day. So it was a win win all around. Would definitely consider this hotel if in the area again.

• Joy (6/5): Overall Good Budget Hotel - Informative and friendly staff, generally clean room but dirty when you look closely. Clean sheets, but caked dust by microwave, dead roaches indicating the floors haven’t been cleaned. Pet friendly which is nice, relatively quiet but off a 35mph highway. Overall a decent stay, will come back and hopefully they’ve done some spraying.
• Kristen (2/5): - Exterior was littered with little black bugs everywhere. There was so many in front of the door to our room we didn’t even go inside. We arrived just after dark and the parking lot was dark and we felt unsafe. I was told no rooms were available on the well lit side of the property. Didn’t end up staying here. Asked for a refund within 15 minutes of checking in since we didn’t enter the room. Was told to contact manager in a couple days for a refund.

I however was not grateful for the upstairs neighbors whom walked around with cement boots all night. I was there comfortable, sleeping...until upstairs Mr. Cement boots decided to take off said boots, one at a time..BOOM.....BOOM. Startled wide awake at 3am...

• kimnP7341MQ (10/5): A little piece of heaven ✨️ - I live in the area and sometimes I just need a break away from home and life in general. I have stayed rarely at hotels in this area and the experience made me not ever want to stay in any hotels. That is until I found best Western. Walking in the front doors there is a since of relief. I'm safe protected and in a good energy environment. You walk in and your treated with a smile and a greeting that hard to find now and days . Such kindness and I can't describe the cleanliness. It's outstanding. I was catered to as if I was someone with of importance. The room was like a castle everything so organized. The sheets and blankets so beautifully placed you almost don't want to climb in them. Smells as if you are in a garden. All stress is lifted and you almost forget about your every day responsibility. I can't stress how thankful I am to have Best Western at my fingertips. There pool is so clean and refreshing that it feels as if you are at a private spring. So we'll kept . If I don't come to stay I come to swim and enjoy the sunny day with a salt water spring/ pool . I try not to tell anyone of my get away place . It's my secret place . I hope one day someone else can stumbled on this Jem and enjoy it just as much as I do . When I stay I wake up to a breakfast for kings and queens . Although I know it feels like a dream I pinch myself just to make sure it reality and there is such a place that exists in this small little county. Truly is a blessing to have this here and I thank each and every person who works here for their time ,kindness, and cleanliness. Thank you best Western for giving me a place I can take my family and friends and feel as if we are on some private island. Thank you for making it affordable for the little folks . • CarolandKen (10/5): Overnight Stop - Lots of upgrades have been made since my last trip through Starke about six years ago. Clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were great. Typical hotel breakfast, but hot and area kept clean. I loved the waffle iron - you can make between one and four small waffles instead of one big one. Pet friendly without an outrageous pet fee. In my opinion, it is the only place I will stay in Starke.

• 63ms (10/5): Get off the Interstate in N Florida save and enjoy! - It's been a long time since we stayed in a Best Western. The one we stayed in the night before didn't give me much hope this one would be a good stay. I couldn't have been more wrong. This is a up to date, clean, beautiful facility. The hotel was originally built in 1979, and they just completed their 2nd remodel. I really like the vinyl Planck floors, you can see they are clean, the showers are generous in size, and heavy glass sliding doors, not cheap. The pool, original to 1979 is up to 6.5 ft deep, and also in really good shape. Behind that is a nice patio with seating and shade. The facility could lotterly be rated as a more upscale version of Best Western, or other branding. The owner has turn over the daily operation of the hotel to the next generation, but he is still there doing little chores and managing by walking around, great guy. Make the trip off the interstate, save some money, and enjoy this hotel!

We decided not to be miserable so we stayed at this facility the entire time, we'll above average breakfast and all of the staff were amazing. Everything was so clean and the pool was perfectly maintained. Definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic 5 stars!! Better than the local Holiday Inn.

• SparkyRanger (6/5): Friendly Budget Property - While this is definitely a budget property, we have no complaints. The strongest point is the friendly service. The front desk, breakfast nook, and cleaning staff all had smiles on their faces and were easy to work with. Our room had a vinyl floor instead of carpeting and it always felt slightly damp when walking on it barefoot. In some ways it was better than carpet because I often feel like hotel room carpeting is never completely clean. I'm not a fan of the harsh white lighting in the room even though it is shaded on all the lamps. The walk in shower was great with decent water pressure and lots of hot water. Everything in the room worked well and the beds were plenty comfortable. We were able to sleep well with no noticeable noises. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of choices. Mmmm, hot coffee!

Parking was right outside our room, so easy to carry in luggage. Room was very clean; nice hot breakfast; pool is well kept and clean; grill and gazebo available. We will stay here again if traveling in the area.

I had reserve a room at the Motel 6 nearby and it was a filthy property with dogs running off leash. I snagged a room at the BW and was so impressed. Recently renovated with lovely decor, amenities, a large fridge, nice staff and most importantly, a very comfortable bed!

The management was exceptionally friendly and always asked if you needed anything. I stayed for 7 days and I will be staying there again next year when I return to Florida for a visit.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Uncomfortable beds and ridiculously overpriced - This is a pretty standard Best Western. It's fine if it's all you can get. It beats sleeping in your car, but not by a lot. The thing about Best Western, Motel 6, Red Roof Inn, etc is that they are cheap. Well, this was two hundred dollars for one night. All so I could wake up with a sore neck and back because the bed is one of the worst I've ever experienced.

If the outside tiles are wet you track dirt inside. Other than that our stay was great. The outside area is awesome for get togethers. Gazebo with swing and large BBQ grill. Very clean place.

• may0rnaples (10/5): Can't miss with this choice! - A great fully modernized Beast Western, with a great breakfast, clean rooms, and a super location. I would go back there in a heartbeat! Good service and nice people. Easy to find, lot's of grass for the pooch, and a vending machine and Ice Maker within easy reach. A few good restaurants nearby, one in particular a seafood restaurant that had a huge menu of fresh fish, we eat there each year when we stay in Starke, Plus there's a Dunkin' Donuts within a 5 minute drive, great for coffee to take on the road with you!

• Carla (8/5): - New looking bathroom—very nice.
• Robin (6/5): - The main problem was the soap dish in the shower was dirty, appeared to have a pubic hair in it, the bed could have been softer. It was a little noisy next door. I definitely would stay here again as all of this could have been a fluke

• Robert (6/5): Roaches? - Yes roaches on the floor, on the tables, on the sink and even in the shower
