They refused to reduce our nightly fee, they offered to refund the night if we could find some other places to stay. Easier said than done at 8:30 on Friday night. Room charge was high for what amenities were available.

• Sandra (3/5): Please find another place to stay, this isn't it. - Hotel was in a decent location and had an ok washer and dryer on site. Part of the rooms was remodeled. Let me start by sharing my first impressions at this property. There is hardly any staff a this location, so it is rare to see someone at the front desk when you need them. No elevator, which means if your room in on the second floor you are required to take the stairs. To our great surprise, the hot tub was broken during our trip, and breakfast was not up to par; with the hotel running out of food and a poor stock of coffee cups. Also, there was a lot of suspicious people surrounding the property at times, including some possible homeless people around the hotel. Additionally, we had someone break into our room and steal a few items, which is a nice touch. Finally to put the cherry on top, or leaf to put it mildly, we smelled someone smoking pot in one of the other rooms, which was very nauseating and made the stay very uncomfortable. I would suggest to stay away from this property, unless you are willing to deal with some surprises.

Other parts of the hotel are dated, but new paint, lights and some finishes. Breakfast was as expected for select service: biscuits and gravy, 2 waffle makers and various muffins, bagels, & bread. Yogurt and milk but no other protein choices (eggs, sausage, omelettes, etc.).

• Carrie1999 (2/5): Stay elsewhere - Front desk gentleman was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. He seemed irritated by everything I said or did. I almost left after this and probably should have. The room was ok- older, loud air conditioner. Don't count on a hot bath or shower, because the best I got was mildly warm and that ran out before I was done. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly so I had to take a little break between tooth brushing and face washing. I was there for work so didn't have the time or energy to complain but will NEVER go back and do not recommend.
