- Michael (8/5): - Recently renovated rooms with faux wood floors, fresh paint which was much better than the last time we stayed. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not good. Bread and biskets were hard. Bananas were past ripe. Only one other fruit choice. Eggs really not good. Coffee was okay.
- William (5/5): Very disappointing - The pool wasn't open… didn’t even have water in it. That was the only reason we stayed there. Would’ve been nice to know it was closed That pool wasnt open. And they didn’t offer a discount for the inconvenience

- Leisa (5/5): Not Worth the Money if you're needing to sleep - The location was just down the road from the funeral home we were visiting. My husband is disabled and we were in a room on the ground floor. A group of drunken guys were on the level above us, yelling over the railing and dropping heavy objects until late night. We called the front desk, but the guy on duty spoke terrible English, so communication was nearly impossible.
Although the room was updated, the window blind didn't darken the room and all the outside lights lit up the room all night making it hard to sleep. The bed was also very hard.

- Harris215 (9/5): - It was down the street and I was glad about that I like that the customer service was great. And it was last minute. It stated it was full beds and that it was full beds im used to bigger beds but that was all I appreciate it. The door rattles so maintenance need to check it but it did look and everything.
- Davis (9/5): - Everything was very clean. Beds were comfy. Nice continental breakfast . Breakfast area was very small/crowded.
- Lannie (8/5): one night stop - Did not try the breakfast but did enjoy the coffee. Bed and pillows comfortable. The staff was friendly. The hotel is right on the highway so it's a little noisy. If you book this location I would request a room on the backside.
The room was very clean and comfortable however whatever they sanitize and clean with has a very strong smell. I like the smell of clean but this is a little over the top.
- Chuck (8/5): - It was where i needed to be.
- Tonya (10/5): - I recently stayed 2 nights here. My stay was wonderful. Everything was clean and fresh. I actually felt at home here. Great job!!!
- Joan (8/5): - Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is close to busy highway so a fair amount of traffic noise.
- Ken (8/5): Good location. Good Price Value. We will stay in this hotel again, next visit to Barboursville.. - Excellent price/value and location. We stayed in the back side of the hotel, which overlooks a wooded area and small stream. Our business associates stayed on the front side, facing the highway, and complained of "all night noise". Room was clean, spacious. King size bed very comfortable. Breakfast area is small and crowded. Quality Inn needs to dedicate some of the large front lobby to table space.
- Luana (10/5): - Staff member who checked me in was very friendly and helpful.
- Janine (10/5): - Nice property.
- Barry (8/5): -
- Jason (1/5): Awful. - Had a great time the first time there so we thought it would be good this time around but it was awful! Beds were hard woke up to find not 1 but multiple cocroaches in our room.
- Sonia (8/5): Best option for the area - This hotel was on the way home from Bristol, TN Motorspeedway. Not many options available. Staff very friendly. Hotel is not run down, but not modern.
- Orlan (4/5): Disappointing - Location Cockroach in the bathroom, pool was closed
- Rhonda (10/5): - This is the only hotel in Barbourville, so it is most of all convenient. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the rooms are clean. It is on a busy highway, so there is some traffic noise in the early morning particularly.
- Thompson (5/5): Passable - It was advertised with an outdoor pool but there was no water in the pool as it was closed.
Owners did not honor prepaid bookings from the Best Western Brand when it changed ownership. All prebooked reservations should have been refunded.
- Dominique (7/5): Located close to Union. - Location Difficulties checking in.
- EVELYN (8/5): - It was clean , but I was confused at first because it was the Best Western and I wasn’t sure that I booked the right hotel. I found out when I arrived.
I was there for a family member’s funeral service. I was disappointed that I could have gotten a discount calling the hotel directly. Could not use Aaron either because booked through Expedia online.
- Libertee (8/5): Very good - Clean and updated Housekeeping pounding on the door with the don’t disturb on the door

- Michael (9/5): Nice room, excellent breakfast, but bathroom too small. - Nice room and Excellent breakfast. Bathroom too small. Needed more countertops.
- Phillip (6/5): - This hotel does not offer any kind of discount at all. No AARP, Senior Citizen, Militay, nothing. Don't expect it.
- deborah (10/5): - everything we needed , safe, and respectful staff
- Chante (7/5): Good - Quiet. Everything is literally across the street: Walmart, fast food restaurants, etc. 5 minutes away from the college.
- Jillian (8/5): Very clean and comfortable but the breakfast let it down - Coffee was hot. Fresh Fruit was available No cereal left and we had to ask for more toast as it had ran out and wasn’t replenished.
- Suraj (2/5): - The sheets smelled like they were slept in and not changed in a few days.
- Lawrencia (3/5): Poor -
- RITA (10/5): - 'lcxmjb'[zdofj
- Alyssa (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): 1 star hotel - We had a late check in that went well. It was fast and friendly. But... when we got to our room we immediately found a roach. As we unpacked we were visited by many more German roaches. We took care of the issue and packed up our stuff and put it back in our vehicle. We had to stay unfortunately because it was 2am and had to go to a funeral the next morning. We went to the office to get breakfast and let them know about the bugs but breakfast was down and closed up 45 minutes early and no one around to talk to so we went to get fast food. I would not recommending this hotel but it seems to be the nicest one in town. Good luck
- Verified traveler (2/5): Questionable service, decent room - Well we arrived at 2 AM due to having to work and then drive 8+ hours. He spoke to us through the door to ask us what we wanted, before opening the door and letting us in. It took us about 20 minutes to check in after that. He acted as though he never received the reservation and I had to go through everything with him that I did on the reservation. He informed us the card machine was ready, as we had cash in hand to pay him. We told him we were going to be paying in cash, and he told us it was a $200 deposit. My husband handed him $200 and then he proceeded to tell us it was $237, okay we gave him the extra $37, no biggie. He then proceeded to place $100 in an envelope and write all over it, before giving our room keys. Our room was on the second floor, and the only access was by stairs. We got everything into the room and settled, and discovered ear plugs. We came to the conclusion the ear plugs were so we could sleep due to all the noise in the property. The doors and windows were not properly sealed, and there was absolutely no insulation in the room. You can hear everything going on outside. Fast forward to when we returned to our room after a long day, we brought one trip of items into the room, and then went back out for the second trip. On return to our room, I swiped the key cards and none of them worked. I had to go get the cards re programmed, and the same man asked for my ID- which was now locked in my room. He did reprogram the key without my ID. Definitely WNR!
- Charlene (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Excellent - Clean, friendly staff, location Extra towels
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): - The room was clean. Property was clean as well.
- Spencer (10/5): - Great little hotel rooms to right off the highway.
Convenience, with food places across the parking lot
- Mary (10/5): - We had a very comfortable stay. The large upholstered chair & hassock were comfortable after a long day on the road. The girl at the front desk was especially helpful. The breakfast was good and they had commercial, wrapped breakfast bars. New tile floors were clean as was the entire unit. We would stay again-
- Nanda (8/5): - Stay is okay
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorenzo (8/5): - The room was easy to access. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The rooms were clean and convenient.
- Caroline (10/5): I was visiting my son at Union College and the hotel provided a clean and safe place for me to base myself - The property was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful No way of walking anywhere
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (10/5): Nice facility and the staff was professional - Clean good location
- Vanessa (5/5): Had to split up from family because rooms weren’t cleaned and empty from previous people - It was convenient for my purpose Beds were very uncomfortable and the road noise was so bad you couldn’t sleep (earplugs are a nice touch) but if ya fix the seals and such you should t need them
When you can see daylight or street lights through the door facings you need to fix that
- Grant (10/5): - Property was clean and easy to access.
- Amy (8/5): - The hotel has “outside doors”, no hallways or secure lobby. Traveling with my son I felt a bit unsafe staying on the backside of the hotel. However, the room was very clean and the clerk was very nice. We were just staying for one night and didn’t spend much time in the room, so it was a good room for the price & need. We would stay there again.
- Roy (8/5): - Property was fine. Shower head was nice and tall.
- Chante (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): nice pool, very accommodating staff and breakfast was a bonus - clean and lovely staff noise from highway
- Jeff (10/5): - Great staff and super clean! Breakfast was good too!
- Santo (10/5): - Its an older hotel but well cared for and my room was spotless.
- Keller (8/5): It was a fine placed the large at we had no issues, perhaps the continental breakfast could’ve been a little bit better - 👍
- Daniel (8/5): Good and will use bw when avail - Good breakfast
Manager walking parking lot in morning picking up trash Pillows
- Ben (8/5): - It was okay
- Paul (5/5): Passable - The staff was friendly The hotel was OK, refrigerator did not work and the hair dryer shot craps with one use.Not good with 3 females .The staff did change refrigerator out for us ,took a whole day to replace hair dryer
- Kristopher (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robin (6/5): - Location was only fast food and very noisy. Also the bed was very uncomfortable.
- B (9/5): Superb - Location was good
- Amanda (6/5): - The property was well cleaned, and the room was appropriate for the fee, but the night clerk was very rude and charged my card 116.47$ when I already booked and paid before coming. And when I called and asked about it, just stayed it would just go back to my card with no apology or nothing
- April (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient to the college and had a late check out time Beds and pillows was hard but that's at most motels/hotels
- Linda (10/5): - Nice employees, clean appearance.
- Jill (6/5): - Very dated room. Not very clean.
- Nicholas (10/5): 10/10 - Incredibly clean and recently redone! This is the best stay in southeast Kentucky. Incredible staff that works hard to make your stay excellent. Will be back next year!
- April (10/5): Perfect place to sleep for a few nights - The room was comfortable and clean. I could adjust the temperature. Everything worked. The cleaner came in everyday to change the garbage and provide new towels. It was quiet at night. I felt safe. Breakfast was basic but that's all I needed. Water bottles were also provided in breakfast area. Check in and out were quick and easy.
- Curtis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frazier (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): - We stayed here on our way to see family in Pineville. Friendly staff and a clean room made our stay pleasant.
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional -
- angela (10/5): - Great accommodations
- Mary (7/5): Would have been great with an elevator. - The personnel were very nice and helpful. They carried my luggage up and back down the stairs. I walk with a cane and an oxygen tank. There was no elevator. Two flights of stairs to my room. No offer to move me downstairs. I was there in time to do that.
- Steve (10/5): - Good for quick stay
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- deborah (8/5): - I like this property except the breakfast is not much above 4 out of 10. Adequate if you're looking for a quick bite like limited cereal and fruit
- Jodi (9/5): Superb - Very nice. Very clean. Close to the highway. Lots of traffic noise/motorcycle. The toilet was tiny hard on my husband and I who have arthritis.
- Theresa (10/5): Cleanest Best Western that I have been in - Breakfast was hot and the area was clean. Everything was good .
- Sheryl (7/5): Good - Location and cleanliness. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping left extra towels outside our door for the next day without having to request them. Beds were very hard. Close to the road and very noisy, Housekeeping left ear plugs on the nightstand for us.
