• Carolyn4evr (10/5): Our 5th time at this lovely Best Western - This is our 5th time staying at this Best Western and it's consistently the best place around! The reservation process is simple, your guaranteed a professional, efficient and friendly staff and a very clean property. We really enjoy the hot breakfast, eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon and large variety of fresh fruits, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, breads, pastries made to order, in a very clean cafe with nice staff. We also appreciated the coffee, tea, juice station available 24 hrs in lobby. And all of this at a very reasonable price! The rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean too. There's also a beautiful pool surrounded by a lovely garden. It's two levels with a large parking lot. Just know there isn't an elevator but the stairs aren't too steep. Even though it's on a busy road, it's very quiet. Plank Road has so many restaurants, shops, malls, gas stations, care clinics...it's in a great location. We really like Park Lane Tavern, Sakura Japanese Steak House, Mi Rancho Mexican and The Alpine Chef (authentic) German, just to name a few! Just know that your experience staying at Best Western will be a good one!

• Noel (8/5): Standard hotel in Fredericksburg - Decent location for visiting Fredericksburg. Room a good size. Good complimentary breakfast. Fridge in room was noisy. Breakfast food was good, but annoying that plates were paper and cutlery plastic. Not only is it difficult to use, the waste is bad for the environment.

• Marie (8/5): Decent hotel, clean but dated rooms… - The outside areas were very clean and cute. The breakfast area was very nice and gave a lot of options. There was no elevator which for me would’ve been a problem to get my suitcase and cooler etc. upstairs. Additionally my room was VERY dated. For hotel rated so highly I was surprised to be in a room that was so dated. It was clean though which was a bonus.

The only thing I would change is I'd have coffee maker in the room. I missed that feature. But i will say desk clerk offered to bring one to our room. Breakfast offered a few more items then a lot of US hotels. Rooms and property very clean and very well maintained. Very pleased would stay here again and would recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, including fresh fruit. The hotel is conveniently located one block from I95. I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay. The rooms could use some updating.

My bed smelled like Ramen broth and body odor, the people in the room next door to me had their TV playing at full volume until 11pm. I wasnt able to sleep at all for these two reasons. The breakfast was cold at 7 am. I've stayed here before and it wasnt nearly as bad.

Called and spoke to a manager the next day he said yea we have 106 rooms so if we are full there's not enough hot water. Avoid this place unless you don't need a hot shower
• Sarsprdoc (8/5): Pet friendly with 24 hour coffee available - Nice pet-friendly place to stay in an area with lots of options for gas and food. Right off I-95. Lots of grassy areas to walk a dog. However, room 125 had a toilet bowl that wasn't secured fully to the floor, which rocked and made a great deal of noise. Also, this is an adjoining room, so when someone had a late check-in next door, loud conversations were easily heard, making sleep difficult.

I wasn’t expecting a lot and receivedso much less than ine can even ima - I originally liked the rates, a free breakfast and that there were laundry facilities on site. The hotel was undergoing renovation so I specifically requested a room that had been completely renovated. Instead, we were put in a room that 2 days later had to be moved to a different room. There is one washer and one dryer for 108 guest rooms and they were broken. Everything above. Everything that originally made me select this hotel. The rate difference changed when I made the reservation to when I actually selected this room through Booking.net.

Breakfast buffet was varied, and excellent (one of the better ones that I've seen in this price class). Paul at the service desk was excellent!

• Sarah (3/5): Stinky room - We stayed in room 505 - had we not driven 14 hours I would have said something but my goodness the room smelled so bad! It was stale cigarettes and oh my it was awful. The ac/heat did not work, couldn’t even try to use it, as it was fried, legit the cord was fried, very dangerous. If anything maybe get dehumidifiers for that room, it’s really bad! Everything.
