• Fay Aaron (9/5): Very comfortable place to stay. Rooms bigger than you would expect. - Very spacious room. Bed was very comfortable. Lodging well worth the price. For breakfast buffet, would be so much better if there was self-serve on drinks/juice/water; had to wait until after we had actually finished eating our breakfast meal before staff even asked us what we wanted to drink.

• ruthfU7047RE (6/5): Pretty bargain basement - One of the lowest-end Best Westerns I’ve ever stayed in. Uncomfortable mattress, very poor room lighting, tiny bathroom with mediocre shower. The desk clerk was friendly, the room appeared clean, and the dog-walking area was decent, so those were pluses. Next time, though, I’ll push on to Rock Springs.

• charity (9/5): It was very comfortable and spacious - We liked having a room that you park next to! The large space! The ac unit looks very old and a bit dusty.
• Tamara (8/5): Large, beautiful room, Limited parking - The room was clean and ground level accessible. I found the desk person rather gruff and not helpful. One example: Parking was difficult with a Uhaul. I asked the desk person where I could park a large Uhaul and she said I could park right in front of the room. It stuck out a ways into the driveway and if there had been other close guests, it wouldn't have worked at all.

• kathysG3320NL (10/5): Cutest room ever! - The cutest bungalow I have ever stayed in. Not your regular hotel. Restaurant was phenomenal. Service was fantastic and very clean rooms. I would definitely stay here again. Most everyone that I spoke with have been there more than once. I would definitely come back and stay! Thank you for your hospitality!

• Hollie (9/5): Affordable spot with the best hot breakfast served up in a gangster themed restaurant. - Rooms are scattered around the property, like an old school resort, with different buildings. Easy parking in front of your room. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good and is served in the restaurant. The staff were all excellent. I didn’t realize that the room door opened to the parking lot. Usually don’t book that when traveling by myself. (Maybe I missed that in the online description?) Still felt safe, so it wasn’t bad. It’s a bit dated, but not in a terrible way. More comfortable than I initially felt when walking in and I would stay here again.

It would not connect correctly to our phones. Otherwise, everything else was great! The steakhouse on the property is also not bad. Pretty good ribeye!

Everything was clean. A little dated, we had a pet room, and some previous pets had gone on the curtain and also torn it. The sink in our room leaked. We had to put a trash can under it.
• Renee (2/5): - The kitchenette was old and dirty and not functional. Found mouse poop in the cabinet and the room was extremely smelly. Thought we’d be ok but next day I woke with a migraine and coughing. We moved rooms but they didn’t have another one equal to this one and no other one with a kitchen. The next room we stayed was a significant downgrade, but staff said they couldn’t adjust the room rate call Expedia. Unfortunately, the microwave in new room didn’t work, they replaced with a different one. Then I found a pair of dirty men’s underwear under the desk. I went to complain to front and waited for several minutes in line while the staff had a personal conversation. They were pretty flippant about the dirty underwear and just said sorry and walked away. We have stayed here many times over the years(20 plus) and have never had such an awful experience. We will never stay here again.

Our room was clean, comfortable and parking was right outside the door. Convenient location - right off Hwy 80. Will stay here again and again, unless something changes.

I stay a lot of places by booking with a third party site and have NEVER been told that before. Maybe there needs to be some training on how to be more tech saavy? Not sure why that was an issue.

My room was spacious but not particularly clean, lobby was charming with displays of taxidermy arts and fresh coffee. I love this place but might opt for a modern hotel next visit to Evanston.

The a/c didn’t work - only blew recycled room air. The curtains let in way too much light from a bright light right outside our room. And the bathroom faucet was very old and hard to adjust.
• Unsworth7 (8/5): Older but good Best Western but loud A/C unit - It was carpeted but clean. It had comfortable beds, and a table desk. This is an older hotel in a huge complex. You can drive right up to the front of your room. the one problem was the A/C unit. Actually, there were two. One built into the wall was cool but put out little air movement. Another through the wall unit was very loud when you turned it on. It was annoying. Breakfast was Omelet with cheese, potatoes, sausage, watermelon, grapes, biscuits & gravy, strawberries, and usual breads.

• Amanda (6/5): Old and outdated - The bed was comfy but the room and property are old, dark and very outdated. The pictures on hotels.com posted do not accurately represent what you will be seeing upon arrival. We stayed expecting it to be good because of the brand of motel, and instead found that we should have saved a bunch of money and stayed at a lesser price motel and received the same level of quality. The front desk staff wasn’t even very friendly or helpful.

• Nancy (8/5): Very good - The food at the Legal Tender really good Lil high priced
• Donna (8/5): Traveling through. - This is an older facility where you drive up to the door of your room. It has been updated and was very comfortable. Our room had a king bed, a live dear and a chair. The attached restaurant was quite handy after a long day of traveling. A nice buffet breakfast was served there with entrance by showing your room key.
