• James F (8/5): - Property was good. I enjoyed staying there. Room was very clean. Carpet a little old, could be replaced, but clean. Light in the bathroom had a short in the light switch, but it still worked. Also, a vent cover was not attached to the wall, and lying on the light. Neither affected my overall stay. One pretty good restaurant basically across the street, otherwise nothing else in 5-7 miles. Truck stop next door, but everything was quiet at the Inn. A/C and TV were good. Bed was comfortable, and had nice linens.
• Gerald (4/5): Smells bad - The room was neat and clean, then I turned on the AC. The mildew smell was almost overwhelming. I finely turned it off. In the morning there was a sour smell from the AC units in the breakfast area

We then changed to another room, 217, in which the air conditioning was massively underperforming. We reported this and were told someone would be up within 10min. When that did not occur we left and stayed at a holiday inn. With no refund or offer of service recovery.

Continental breakfast slightly late getting started but the food and presentation are very good Room was average - carpet needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. Bed and bathroom very clean

• Susan (10/5): Great Stay for the Price - For the price, this hotel was very clean and comfortable. Most importantly we felt safe in the area. We usually don’t stay in areas with outdoor corridors but we were just passing through the area and had a first floor room with easy access to our vehicle right outside our door. The pool was clean. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. There were restaurants nearby and a Traveling J in walking distance for snacks

• Verified traveler (6/5): Typical budget motel - Check-in was quick and the front desk staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was clean. Bathroom and towels were clean. The carpet in our room looked like it had not been vacuumed in a few weeks, though. It was pretty dirty. There was a dead bug right next to my bed and food crumbs from previous guests. Fire detector was not present and it was just a joke on the wall with wires sticking out. Doors to rooms are outside. Despite being right next to a truck stop, the room was very quiet. A/C worked great. You get what you pay for. I probably would only stay here in a pinch, but I wouldn't consider it a first choice.

• Smarter Stocks (8/5): - Large rooms, motel where you park in front of your room. New bathtub, new carpets, older furniture. The pool was fully functional. Breakfast clean but the area had no windows. Don’t expect luxury. All in all friendly service and a decent bed, in an upgraded room.

• Corrie (2/5): PLEASE READ IT ALL…STAY AWAY! It’s not a 9.0 - First of all, do NOT stay here. The lady before me who reserved a room on hotels.com had her room cancelled and was forced to find a room after midnight in the middle of no where with kids in the car. But let’s talk about the room..first thing I noticed is what looked like a brown recluse on the towels in the bathroom. The ceiling had been repaired poorly and looked like it was about to fall in, the shower rod was sagging so bad because it was broken at the ends and the curtain wouldn’t stay closed, the carpet was BLACK in the traffic areas, the mattress cover and box spring was DISGUSTING with stains that looked like blood popped bedbugs, there were bugs under the box spring cover and trash was under the mattress and it hasn’t ever been cleaned. There’s NOTHING good about this place unless you’re a greasy broke dope head with no money. The staff and management put down hotels.com to customers and was useless for help. I couldn’t stay after seeing all the stains and bugs and was forced to drive back home through the night. Bug bites, filthy room, unsavory conditions, find yourself another motel please. There’s absolutely NO reason they’re rated this high. Maybe a 4.5 at best. Don’t stay and bring bugs back to your house. This place remind me of a pay by the hour hooker hangout. There’s not enough space here to talk about how disgusting this place makes you feel. And the breakfast is just nasty. Extremely unclean, I couldn’t even eat there. STAY AWAY unless you like filth

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not as expected - The people who run the hotel are very nice and helpful. However, it's just not as nice a place to stay as the ratings make it seem. The floor in our hotel room was gross, to the point that I did not want to take my shoes off. You can tell they are trying to maintain the place, but it needs an awful lot of work to be as nice as I was expecting. I would not stay here again unless they completed some renovations. Otherwise, we were grateful to the owners/managers and they were quite lovely people, just not a great stay.

• Sharon (6/5): - The attendants at front desk were kind and friendly. However, our room had a weird smell and the carpet was damp (which may have been cause of smell). We stayed 2 nights and on night 2 more towels were brought in but housekeeping didn’t make beds or takeout trash. The toilet got hung up every time it was flushed and had to jiggle handle to make it stop.. the bed I had was hard and didn’t sleep well. It was ok but not great. Free breakfast was nice but not the greatest of choices and definitely had better at comparable hotels.

• Patrick (10/5): Gem of a motel. - Very clean, great location and access to I-77, big pool, and friendly staff. Large Pilot truck service station about 500 yards away. Well lit parking area, and very safe. A welcome respite from the major chain motels.

I know they cannot control the people that are there but had to listen to a couple fighting. it was that evening a couple of times and very early in the morning. They were fighting in parking lot, sidewalk and their room. I did mention it to the front desk and apparently not the first time with this couple. Not sure why they continue to let them stay or live there. We were the lucky ones that it was above us and outside our door. Probably will not return.

• Camron (4/5): Not cleaned very well... Floors were filthy. - The floor was absolutely filthy. If they're vacuuming it, their vacuum doesn't work very well. The carpet either needs to be replaced or steam cleaned, badly. If you walk around in bare feet for just 5 minutes, your feet will be very soiled.
• Karen (6/5): - Pros: - We arrived late at night and the gentleman at front desk was very nice given the hour. -This is an older hotel that has not been updated an ounce… with that said, it was very clean. Cons: - As I said, we arrived late after a long day. We are also in the middle of a heatwave. The AC was completely turned off when we got in the room. The room didn’t get cool until about 4am. The AC needs maintenance. It knocked and “squealed” all night long and did not cool the room efficiently. Regular checks on these things could prevent this. - There was nothing to sit on in the room other than your bed. There was a dining chair but the cushion was so concave it looked like you’d fall through if you had a seat. This place could be charming if the owners would put a little love into it.

• Lisa (2/5): - This hotel is absolutely nothing like the picture. Breakfast was ridiculous. Ran out of everything. Warm milk. Apple juice watered down. No waffle barrer left an hour before the end of breakfast time. No one cleaning up or emptying garbage. In the lobby all the furniture had old fashioned covers on them. The only thing they have going for them is the pool.
